SNP: Ag òl bho uisge beatha - na sgeulachdan drùidhte

Recommended Posts

I am Jack, an American in Scotland and I like, no love Scotch Whisky.

Unfortunately, I am the new(ish) head booker of SNP. Enjoy the ride, just don't let me drive you home.

Let me tell you my champions

Roly Muckletruck is the King of Scotland. He doesn't like me because I keep calling him Rory. But he loves me because I keep the belt on him.

Bob Effete is the Hardcore Champion, Phil Myart went to classy place, so I gave Norman Gates the belt, but I forgot to renew his contract. So I had a vacant title. Bob was a good choice.

The Northern Lights - well they are tag team dominant. Nothing more than that to say about Alton and Riddick, don't call them Alan and Rick they don't like that.

My next show is coming up soon. I called it Up in Flames, because that is what normally happens with dinner when I cook.

SNP Up in Flames

King of Scotland Match

Rory Muckletruck© vs Milo Morningstar

The past 6 months have seen Muckletruck, Morningstar, Meathead McAullie and Maximum Destruction all fight of the King of Scotland belt. So far no one have dethroned Rory. This is Milo's last shot.

Number 1 Contenders Match

Maximum Destruction vs Methhead McAullie

The winner gets one last shot at Rory at Festival of Violence - lose that and its all over for them. The loser, his chances are done right here while Rory is champion. Simple as that.

Contenders Eliminator

Padraig O'Hearne vs Dwayne Dark

The winner of this match will earn a King of Scotland title shot at Fighting Irish; regardless of who is champion at that time.

Plus these don't like each other at all.

Grudge Match

Axl Grease vs Bali Daljit

The were put together as a make shift team to face Northern Light and lost; surprise, surprise. Daljit ate the pin and Grease got angry.

The Debut!

Leo "The Lion" Price debuts on someone. Not Neville Jones because he causes too many injuries.

And more, but I can't find my notes and I need a drink.

SNP Up in Flames

Caledonian Club(Scotland)

ATT: 300

Our show was opened with a cat fight between between the beautiful women on our roster. My boss likes to see it when women are stripped down to their underwear and that essentially what this was. Can’t say I really minded seeing the girls in lingerie. Joy and Kitty Katz were particularly aggressive to each other.

Cat Fight featuring Joy, Khloe, Kitty Katz, Kourtney, Laurel Wreath and Marbella.

C-

The Debut

Leo Price vs Jaunty Rhodes

The big league player Leo Price was never going to lose to Jaunty Rhodes. We just made it seem like Jaunty had a chance and kept the match competitive. The Lion is going on to bigger and better things..

In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Leo Price defeated Jaunty Rhodes in 7:41 by pinfall with a Price Drop.

D

Roly Muckletruck grabbed the microphone and yelled and screamed about the things he was going to do to Milo Morningstar in the main event. He was very menacing in this segment but didn’t make a lot of sense. Most memorable part was when the boss Mark Carnie kept interrupting everything with “that’s what she said.” Well at least Rory was scary.

B

Tag Team Top Contenders Match

The Tradition(Walter & Thomas Morgan) Vs The Bridges of London(Grant & Phil) Vs The Funke Bunch(Finn & Flash) Vs The Tribe(Rhys Vali & Rohan Kirchner)

In the booking meeting for this, I tried to get the Tribe to change their surnames. Didn’t work. Finn Funke didn’t like the idea originally but Walter Morgan told him it was good idea with some cracking of the knuckles and he subsequently agreed. This match was just to set up a tag title shot. Nothing else was meant to come out.

In a decent match, The Tradition defeated The Bridges Of London, The Funke Bunch and The Tribe in 10:04; the order of elimination was The Bridges Of London first, then The Funke Bunch, and finally The Tribe.

D-

To help cement the result the Tag Team Champions walks out onto the ramp and shook hands with their new challengers but we made sure their some tension and menace but squeezing too tight and holding onto long.

D

Grudge Match

Axl Grease vs Bali Daljit

The crowd got into this more than I expected so I was happy. We had Axl go over because at the moment he has more upside than Daljit, but the reactions left some food for thought with a bottle of scotch, the wrestling was ordinary though. Might use this match to push Greasy boy after Bob Effette - it would be a good juxtaposition of character.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Axl Grease defeated Bali Daljit in 9:09 by pinfall with a Rock 'n' Roll Death.

E+

Contenders Eliminator

Dwayne Dark vs Padraig O’Hearne(w/ Kitty Katz)

Dark and O’Hearne was always going to be a competitive match. It needs to be so, these guys are just outside our top guys and we need them to be a threat. This match was designed to show that. In the end we had Paddy go over with a distraction and a submission win to give Dwayne an excuse. The reasoning was simples - the title shot was happening in Ireland.

In a decent match, Padraig O'Hearne defeated Dwayne Dark in 14:53 by submission.

D-

SNP Hardcore Tile Match

Bob Effette© vs Augustus Bumblescoop vs JK Lee vs Neville Jones

Need to keep the hardcore title matches ticking along, because we are hardcore and because F-it when ya drunk ya want violence. We had Bumblescoop come out with his ninja schtick. Tell me off about how you need a new gimmick, I’ll make you an f’ing ninja. JK Lee was solid is, but I don’t know what to do with him. So thing is what he does, Neville didn’t kill anyone tonight so that was a blessing. And Bob won because F-it, picking the guy with campiest mannerisms to be hardcore work.

In a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, Bob Effette defeated Augustus Bumblescoop, JK Lee and Neville Jones in an Elimination match in 9:37; the order of elimination was Neville Jones first, then Augustus Bumblescoop, and finally JK Lee. Bob Effette makes defence number 5 of his SNP Hardcore title.

E

Number One Contenders Match

Maximum Destruction (w/ Joy) vs Meathead McAullie

This was what it was. To set up another challenger for Rory title, and start eliminating the same old contenders for some new blood. The crowd liked this one and the brawl was solid. In the booking room we had decided to go with Meathead because the Scotsman love another Scotsman. Max D has been floating since Max C left for 21CW.

In a decent match, Meathead McAullie defeated Maximum Destruction in 11:21 by pinfall with a Running Big Boot.

D-

SNP King of Scotland Title Match

Roly Muckletruck© vs Milo Morningstar

The main event, the big show. Milo loses no more title shots. That's the stipulation we sold. Milo came out so hot, the crowd ate it up, but the match dragged pretty bad in the middle. In the end we gave Rory the win and Milo will move back down he card for a bit. Truth is; how could I put the big belt on someone called Milo.

In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Roly Muckletruck defeated Milo Morningstar in 11:10 by submission with a Full Nelson. Roly Muckletruck makes defence number 7 of his SNP King Of Scotland title.

E

I was happy with show. The fans who got drunk with me after the show were happy. And they were keen to see Festival of Violence at the end of the month. Especially, after I said I would shout them at the show.

<p>So we put Up in Flames in the bank, and it set up some things moving forward.Me and Carnie we sat down to plan the next show SNP Festival of Violence II</p><p> </p><p> The Main Event was going to be <strong>Rory Muckletruck</strong> against <strong>Methead McAullie</strong>. The principles remain the same. Lose and Methead goes down the same path that Milo and Max D have. No more title shots while Rory is champ. I like this stipulation because he creates new blood and keeps incentive to fighting. And can make people angry.</p><p> </p><p> We are going to play off the Joy and Kitty Katz stuff from the cat fight last week, and use it as an excuse to set <strong>Padriag O’Hearne</strong> and <strong>Maximum Destruction</strong> in a match. It’s a credible opponent for Paddy going into his King of Scotland title shot at Fighting Irish, and it gives Max D something to do while I work his next direction, and depending on which way we push the book – Paddy will still look credible if we give him the L, and if we give him the W, then he has a good wave of momentum going into his title shot at Fighting Irish.</p><p> </p><p> We have to give <strong>Leo Price</strong> something to do, so the story we are selling is that <strong>Milo Morningstar</strong> is after him to show him what Scotland is, not the soft big leagues. We are coming away from Ireland, and going back to Scotland. And we are Born to Raise Hell.

Fighting Irish was a solid show, and we pushed a competent challenger against a dominant champion. We also have a newcomer in the mix, in the former 21CW Veteran Leo "The Lion" Price rising through the ranks. This has lead to a Six Man Tag Match being announced. Leo Price will team with former contenders, Meathead McAullie and Maximum Destruction to take on Roly Muckletruck, Padraig O'Hearne and a partner yet to be named. This match will have consequences around the King of Scotland championship, but what those are - that's yet to be decided.

Another hard fought title match, another Northern Lights victory followed by an awful beating to show The Tradition who the Big Dogs of the Yard are. The Tradition have petitioned for one last title shot. The request has been granted much to the protests of Alton Vicious and Riddick Jordan. It was decided that if The Tradition wanted to climb the ladder to the top. Then they could climb the ladder to grab the belts.

After the theatrics of Fighting Irish, Khloe and Marbella have selected their "men" who will fight for their "honour".

Bob Effette, will look to continue his title reign against JK Lee. While Dreigiau Cymru will look to follow up their first victory against The Bridges of London. And after their brawl at Fighting Irish, Milo Morningstar and Dwayne Dark will look to settle their score in the ring.

This match looked to be going the same way as their previous encounters - The challengers pushing the champs but falling short; but when it looked like Alton Vicious would suplex Walter Morgan of the top of the ladder to allow Riddick Jordan to climb the otherside and take the title, Walter reversed it and took out Vicious and Jordan which allowed Thomas Morgan to come from the stars and grab the belts; ending over twelve months of tag team dominance by The Northern Lights.</p><p> In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, The Tradition defeated The Northern Lights in a Ladder match in 15:14 when Thomas Morgan retrieved the item.
