WWE WrestleMania – 20

~Opening Sequence~

Battle Royal: 30 Man.

Mark Henry wins the 30 Man Battle Royal. The other three members that were eliminated were Garrison Cade, Maven and Billy Gun, with Garrison Cade being the final elimination. Billy Gun got the most eliminations over the course of the match. The winner of this match gets a shot at the WWE Openweight Championship at the upcoming “New Beginning PPV”.

The WWE Openweight Title gets some hype.

WWE Openweight Title – Nunzio vs. Lance Storm

Nunzio and Lance Strom hit the ring and starts around with some basic lock-ups following to the corner and again to the ground, still working on the ribs and head, Nunzio finally hits the Sicilian Slice for the win. Nunzio wins the WWE Openweight title.

Ultimo Dragon vs. Shelton Benjamin.

Ultimo Dragon and Shelton Benjamin hit the ring. For a month Shelton Benjamin and Dragon are fighting in the tag matches but they want to prove themselves in one on one action. Benjamin goes after Dragon with the strikes and combos. Dragon knows he has to work an strategy around, so he uses the high flying moves to work on Bejamin. Every moves are landing on Bejamin, who is not yet in the hands of defeat nor giving up. The running Cloth-sline knocks down Ultimo Dragon. The T-Bone Suplex follows thereafter but Ultimo Dragon comes in after with the Dragonrana. Shelton Bejamin and Dragon are both trying to counter each other’s moves not before Shelton tries for the Playdirt, Dragon reverses and hits the Asai DDT for the pinfall.

Ultimo Dragon celebrates his win, but Shelton attacks him thereafter. The crowd boos Shelton Benjamin.

The WWE Women’s Title gets some hype.

Both women have a stare down before the shoving starts and Lita makes a quick take down before hitting Holly with the DDT. Holly however rolls out and Lita hits the Flying Suicida on Holly. Back into the ring Lita is still working on Holly, but Holly comes to hit the Suplex for 1 count. Lita gets fired up before hitting her with the Brainbuster for the win. Lita wins the WWE Women’s Title.

Lita celebrates her title win. Trish Stratus comes down to the ring before challenging her for the WWE Women’s title. Lita and Trish Stratus have a stare down.

A-Train, Booker T and Kane vs. Matt Hardy, Rikishi and Al Snow.

Snow and A-Trains starts the things and follows it to the rest hold sessions. Kane gets in to slam Hardy and get in the elbow drop followed by the running knee drop. Hardy gets in the hot tag to Rikishi and both Kane & Rikishi are at it with the strikes being exchanged back and forth. Snow and Booker T comes to get in their moves with Booker T getting in the Scissors Kick followed by the Book End but let’s A-Train come in to finish the match with the Derailer for the win.

Post-Match, Booker T gets a chair into the ring as A-Train and Kane holds Matt Hardy before Booker strikes the chair to the head completely knocking out Matt Hardy, much to the crowd booing them.

Shawn Micheals, Chris Jericho and Christian vs. John Cena, Scott Steiner and Mick Foley.

Micheals and Cena starts the things going with some rest holds followed by some submission tricks only for Cena to reach the ropes. The snapmare connects followed by the low dropkick from Cena. Foley comes to work on Micheals, who counters Foley’s offense to tag to Jericho, as he comes in and he starts elbowing Foley to the corner before getting in the monkey flip followed by the springboard Lionsault for the 2 count. Steiner kept destroying Christian with the gruesome holds and twists, but Christian soon got his way around before the Pendulum Kick connected towards the corner. Thanks to the comeback from Christian and the working he did on Steiner, Jericho gets in the easy working before connecting with another Lionsault for the 2. More working from Jericho and the Liontamer is locked in on Steiner. Despite the desperation to reach the ropes, Steiner finally taps out.

The WWE Cruiserweight Title gets some Hype.

Rey Mysterio comes in around with his new Lucha Mask. Both men hit the ring and strikes the ring of the bell. Mysterio and Miller are exchanging quick offenses followed by quick counter and finally Mysterio gets in the Dragonrana. The early 619 was countered and thus Miller suplexes Mysterio into the ring from the apron, gaining a 2 count. The dragon-screw(s) from Miller connected thus working on Rey’s legs. The dropkicks to Mysterio’s legs seem to weaken him enough for Miller to hit leg DDT. However Mysterio makes a good comeback with the Mysteriorana for the 2 count and also getting in a breather. The springboard moves followed thereafter and the flying suicida followed to the outside. Back into the ring and Mysterio hits The Dime before getting the 619 and then hitting the West Coast Pop for the pinfall. Rey Mysterio makes number 1 defense of the WWE Cruiserweight title.

Rey Mysterio celebrates his win. Rey cuts a promo stating that he does not like calling his belt Cruiserweight, instead he wants it to be called a Junior Heavyweight title. He wants to prove to the world that he will bring the spirit of Junior Heavyweights to the WWE and make this belt one of the best. “It’s time for an Golden Era, to begin”. Moments later Taijiri comes down to the ring and challenges Rey Mysterio for the now named, WWE Junior Heavyweight title, to which Mysterio accepts. Mysterio offers a handshake and Taijiri accepts not before spraying the green mist onto Mysterio’s face almost blinding. Taijiri then poses with the belt while Mysterio is struggling.

The WWE Tag Team Titles get some hype.

WWE Tag Team Titles – APA (Bradshaw & Ron Simmons) vs. Basham Brothers (Danny Basham & Doug Basham) ©

The APA comes to the ring with "Bikes" getting the crowd cheering on them. Both men hit the ring and locks up to the corner where they clean break. Bradshaw works around Danny Basham and hits the suplex on him. The elbow drop connects from Bradshaw, and Simmons takes over the working. The Basham Brothers make a comeback with double team maneuvers and hits the double backdrop for a 2 count. Simmons comes in with fire and hits the running shoulder block on Danny and follows up to hit the spinebuster for another 2 count. The Basham Brothers try to get some moves in but Bradshaw finally comes in to hit The Clothsline from Hell to which Simmons follows up with the Dominator for the win. APA (Bradshaw & Ron Simmons) wins the WWE Tag Team titles.

The WWE United States Title gets some hype.

WWE United States Titles – Goldberg vs. The Big Show ©

Goldberg comes in around with the great pyros. Both men hits the ring and Goldberg gets in early with the Spear for the pinfall but The Big Show kicks out at 2. Goldberg tries to work on The Big Show, but The Big Show comes in around with the Chokeslam and hits the running senton with all the force on Goldberg. Goldberg fires up and starts working on him with the striking combos one after the other before hitting the neckbreaker. The Big Show comes in around trying to hit the Powerbomb, but Goldberg counters and tries for the JackHammer, but The Big Show is too much for him. The Big Show counters with a Brainbuster for another 2. Finally Goldberg sets up for the Spear but The Big Show dodges, but Goldberg stops The Big Show with the gut kick before getting in the JackHammer, showing the great physical strength of Goldberg, and thus ending the lights out of The Big Show for the pinfall. Goldberg wins the WWE United States title.

Goldberg celebrates his title win. A-Train comes down to the ramp and motion to the waist, signaling that he is the next challenger.

The WWE World Tag Team Titles get some hype.

WWE World Tag Team Titles – Evolution (Ric Flair & Batista) © vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley)

Evolution (Ric Flair & Batista) comes out in a classy Limousine along with their titles. The match starts as Batista and Ray circles around before locking it up. Batista shoves Bubba to the corner before landing in the fists, but Bubba counters and starts striking Batista. Batsita takedown Bubba and mounts on him striking as hard as he could before getting up to hit the Short Arm Clothsline for the 2. Bubba gets in the quick tag to D-Von comes in around to strike Batista before The Dudleyz hits the Double Neckbreaker on Batista. Batista gets the hot tag to Flair who gets in the ring and starts landing in the fists before tagging in Batista to get the Spinebuster in. Batista starts working on the Dudleyz in an aggressive manner before getting in the spear on D-Von. Batista signals for the Batista Bomb/Demon Bomb and connects it hard enough for the pinfall. Batista & Ric Flair make defence number 1 of their WWE World Tag titles.

Backstage we see Triple H getting prepared for the "Mainevent". The camera cuts a shot of the World Heavyweight Title sitting next to him.

Randy Orton and Test get some hyping.

The WWE Intecontinental Title gets some hype.

Randy Orton comes out to a band playing his music live. Test comes out to some visual of pyros. Both men locks up and Orton takes it to the ground where he starts stomping Test. Test comes back up to the hit some fist onto Orton before connecting with the Belly to Belly suplex on Orton. Test works on Orton, who gets in a counters and teases an RKO, but Test counters and hit Big Boot for the 2.9 count. Test hits the Exploder suplex but gets an 2 count. Orton comes back with fire before getting in the Powerslam for a 2 count. Orton counter’s Test with the Capture suplex and getting in the Spinning Backfist at the striking contest that seems to rock Test. Orton gets in the backdrop and finally gets in the Running Knee Drop, before setting up for the RKO that connected successfully. Orton sets up for the Punt Kick and after much motion hits it hard, knocking out Test for the win by pinfall. Randy Orton makes defense number 1 of his WWE Intercontinental title.

Randy Orton celebrates his win over Test. Rob Van Dam’s music play and everyone is cheering. RVD challenges Orton for the WWE United States, to which Orton is pissed and goes for an RKO, but RVD counters with the Van Daminator, as the crowd cheered. RVD holds the WWE Intercontinental title up and poses with it.

The WWE Heavyweight Title & The World Heavyweight Title gets some hype.

Triple H and Brock Lesnar comes out to the great decorations of pyros, making the entrance even more hyping. The announcer gets in the introductions and the bell rings as everyone is applauding, clapping, and cheering their names. Lesnar and Triple H locks up, to which Lesnar shoves HHH onto the mat. Triple H comes back up with a shove of his own and lands the fists onto Lesnar. Lesnar gets in the Belly to Belly, but Triple H counters with the Knee to the gut followed by a Jawbreaker. Lesnar gets in the suplexes again. Triple H hits some variation of strikes before getting in the German Suplex on Lesnar. A battle of suplexes followed before Lesnar gets in the Triple Powerbomb in. Lesnar tries in for the Shooting Star Press but Triple H counters with his knees on. Both men holds each other to get up but Lesnar hits HHH with the elbow and HHH returns back before we get some more elbow smashes, and Triple H gets in the Spinebuster. Triple H sets up for the Pedigree but Lesnar counters and hits the Fall-away slam. After much of the battle Lesnar hits the F-5 but gets a 2.9. Triple H gets in the Pedigree but gets a 2.9. Both men hits each other with the Lariat at the same time. Finally after a gruesome war, Lesnar hits the F-5 trice before pinning Triple H for the End! Brock Lesnar wins the WWE title & makes number 1 defense of the World Heavyweight title.

Lesnar celebrates on the ring, while Shawn Micheals helps Triple H to the back. Shawn Micheals however gets in some cold stares on Lesnar while helping HHH. What does Shawn have in mind?

Everyone starts out with slams and suplexes followed by some light rest holds. Jordon gets in some of the moves before hitting the Orlando magic on Gedo. Shannon Moore and Hotty gets in some of the double team maneuvers on Gedo. Finally Moore gets in the Halo on Gedo for the win.

Doug Basham, Ernest Miller and Danny Basham v s. Jon Heidenreich, Spanky and Jamie Noble

The Basham Brothers are on revenge mode tonight after getting their asses kicked around by the APA. The Basham Brother along with Miller gets in the triple team attack and starts working on Jamie Noble. Miller gets in the quick moves on and tags in Basham to hit the Spike Piledriver on Spanky for the win.

Stevie Richards, Rosey and Robert Conway vs. Matt Morgan, Paul London and Rico

Stevie gets in the suplexes on London and starts chopping him to the corner. Richards hits the Pendulum slam on London. London gets in the hot tag to Rico, who gets his momentum crashed as he eats the Big Boot from Richards. The tags exchanged between Richards, Rosey and Conway, as they got their powermoves in and finally ending Morgan with the Swinging Side Slam from Rosey getting the pinfall.

Richards cuts a promo saying that he is the one on the rise and along with Rosey & Conway things are getting much easier. He assures everyone that he will be the WWE Champion, one day.

Chuck Palumbo, Billy Kidman and Billy Gunn vs. The Hurricane, Ultimo Dragon and Spike Dudley

Palumbo and Dragon starts the things going. Ultimo Dragon, who gets the upperhand at Wrestlemania against Shelton. Dragon gets in the quick offenses in and hits Dragonsteiner early on. Spike Dudley and The Hurricane gets in the good moves in, with Gunn coming in to end the building on momentum. Kidman and Gunn works up together before getting in the double team flapjack on Spike Dudley. The Hurricane comes in with the fire and gets on Billy Kidman with the Vertebreaker, and followed by the Chokeslam. Finally The Hurricane gets in the Eye of the Hurricane in before setting up the Shining Wizard for the win.

Rene Dupree, Ron Simmons and Bradshaw vs. Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero and Stony Stamboli

Dupree and Stamboli starts the things here. Eddie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero got on with the Ron Simmons & Bradshaw, with both teams trying to kick the shit out of each other. Stamboli and Dupree comes in again with this time Dupree hitting the side suplex. Eddie gets in the Three Amigos followed by the Frog Splash on Rene Dupree for the pinfall.

Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero challenges APA for the WWE Tag Team titles. A brief staredown between the team takes place.

Garrison Cade, Nunzio, and Mark Jindrak vs. Charlie Hass, Shelton Benjamin, and Mark Henry.

Mark Henry won the Battle Royal in quite some fashion. Nunzio won the Vacant WWE Openweight Championship last night at Wrestlemania. Mark Henry is the new challenger instantly as he won the Battle Royal. Nunzio and Henry starts up with Henry locking in the headlock, but Nunzio gets in the kicks ready following up with a neckbreaker. Benjamin and Cade gets in some moves too, but Henry comes in again and hits the World’s Strongest Slam for the win.

Henry cuts a promo on Nunzio declaring a proper challenge and talks about ending his championship reign as soon as possible.

John Cena, Goldberg and Taijiri vs. Booker T, A-Train and Rey Mysterio

Taijiri and Mysterio starts in with a past paced moves and Mysterio getting in the Hurricanrana, but Taijiri gets in the stiff kicks followed by the sidekick on Mysterio. A-Train and Goldberg gets in the clash with both powerhouses getting the powermoves in. A-Train tries to hit the Bernard Driver, but Goldberg gets tagged out, while Cena and Booker T comes in. Cena gets in the Side Slam and the Five Knuckle Suffle, but Booker T gets in the scissors kick followed by the Book End for the win over Cena.

A Brawl starts outside with both the challenger and champions fighting it all up, but from behind Cena recovers enough to hit Booker T with the AA from behind.

The Big Show, Test and Scott Steiner vs. Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley and Kane

Kane and Big Show starts with a test of strength before The Big Show starts fisting on Kane. The Dudleyz come in to work on Test followed by both of them hitting the Double Team, toe hold followed by the elbow drop. Test gets in the suplexes of D-Von. The Big Show comes in to chop Kane at the corner before Steiner comes to work on the Dudleyz himself. Steiner works enough to give Test the advantage and thus Test ends D-Von Dudley with the Test Drive for the win.

Evolution (Ric Flair, Batista, and Randy Orton) vs. Rob Van Dam, Val Venis and Lance Storm

Evolution comes out with the straps of belt around their waist. All men starts brawling before the bell even rang. Lance and Batista gets in some power moves in. Flair and Venis start punching each other in the face, but Orton comes in to stomp the crap out of Venis. RVD gets in the hot tag in and starting getting on Orton. The RVD springboard attacks kept coming. Orton hits the neckbreaker before trying for the Knee Drop, but no one home. RVD connects with the Van Daminator on Orton before ending it clean with the Frog Splash for the win.

Rob Van Dam cuts a promo saying all the insults he can sum up on Orton and the Evolution itself. The tag challengers get in some words too, but RVD summed it up as he simply told, he wants the Intercontinental Title.

Triple H, Shawn Micheals, and Chris Jericho vs. Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, and Kurt Angle

Micheals attacks on Lesnar and the Evolution joins up on Lesanr. Benoit and Angle comes for the save. Micheals and Benoit are in the ring with Micheals hitting the Flying Forearm and trying to get in some moves around. Triple H comes in to hit the Spinebuster followed by teasing a Pedigree on Benoit, which he counters. Angle gets in the hot tag and so does Jericho. Both of them brawl and Jericho comes in to hit the Lionsault but pulls a upset victory on Angle, as he eats the Superkick from Micheals, The Pedigree from Triple H and finally the Code Breaker from Chris Jericho to win it all.

Micheals gets on the microphone and says that he will be the one to take the revenge for Triple H and win back the gold and back to the Evolution, from Lesnar. All three members poses before the show comes to an end.

~WWE Road To New Beginning. Day-1~

~Opening Sequence~

Rey Mysterio, Shannon Moore, Scotty 2 Hotty, Orlando Jordan and Jon Heidenreich vs. Funaki, Sakoda, Akio, Gedo and Tajiri.

This was a pretty fast paced, cool match, with the WWE Junior Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio, and the Challenger for the title, Tajiri, gets some heated fight on, with Tajiri focusing on the Kick and the stiffness of a normal Japanese Junior Heavyweight, and Rey Mysterio, focusing the high flying Lucha Style from the greatest Mexican wrestlers. Both men carried this match. Moore and Jordon worked double team on Gedo & Akio with the slams and backdrops. Finally Tajiri gets in to hit Hotty with the Side Kick before getting in the Roundhouse kick, rocking Hotty before cutting him off with the devastating Brainbuster for the pinfall.

Tajiri stares down Mysterio, and keeps motioning towards the waist, signaling for the the WWE Junior Heavyweight Title.

Maven, Ultimo Dragon, The Hurricane, Rosey and Mark Henry vs. Nunzio, Danny Basham, Doug Basham, Ernest Miller and Jamie Noble

Nunzio and Henry gets in some heat from the crowd, with Nunzio trying to hit some strikes on Henry. Henry hits the Sideslam on Nunzio, but Nunzio makes a comeback with the Dropkick followed by a Neckbreaker. The Basham Brothers get in to hit the Triple Team combo strikes. Ultimo Dragon gets in the Dragonsteiner along with some of the high flying moves and hitting the running suicida onto the Basham Brothers. Finally after working on Miller, Mark Henry hits the World’s Strongest Slam for the pinfall.

Mark Henry smirks and points at Nunzio face before pointing it down to his title belt.

Matt Morgan, Paul London and Rico vs. Stevie Richards, Chuck Palumbo and Robert Conway.

This was good match with everyone getting in the tags and playing their parts perfectly. Conway and Morgan gets in the Powermoves, while London and Palumbo makes in the quick paced moves. Richards gets in to hit some of the Suplex variation and starts working on London. The Pendulum Slam connects and Richards tries for the Double Arm Suplex, but London slips out to hit the Enzuigiri to rock Richards, but Richards recovered fast to stop London from making the hot tag and hits him with the Stevie Kick for the pinfall.

Hardcore Holly, Kane and Matt Hardy vs. The Dudley Boyz (D-Don Dudley, Bubba Ray Dudley and Spike Dudley)

The Dudleyz are still trying to the top after failing to capture the WWE World Tag Team titles from Batista & Ric Flair, mostly known as Evolution. Hardy and Spike gets in the lock-up and finally starts getting in a move or two. Kane and Holly makes some double team work-up and not before The Dudleyz get in to hit the various double team combos. The Dudleyz work up to the point where they hit the 3D combination, but the referee was distracted with the commotion(Brawl) outside, and Ray gets pissed. Kane capitalizes with the Chokeslam as the referee was distracted, on Ray to get the pinfall.

Kane along with his company starts beating up The Dudleyz with the chairs before getting in their respective finishers. What are they up to?

Billy Gunn, Billy Kidman and Garrison Cade vs. Rene Dupree, Mark Jindrak and Johnny Stamboli

Gun and Dupree starts with some elbow exchange before getting in some of the Suplexes from Gunn. Both men then follow up to the corner where they try chopping each other, but tags out to Cade and Stamboli. The rest of the match follows as usual and finally ends when Billy Gunn hits the One and Only on Mark Jindrak for the win.

Scott Steiner, Val Venis and Storm vs. The Big Show, Bradshaw, Ron Simmons

The Tag Champions, APA starts with a big brawl outside the ring and starts using the guard rails as weapons. The brawl continued to the ring where the match starts. Bradshaw starts work on the ribs and the elbow drops land pretty harshly on Venis. The Big Show and Steiner gets in to hit some of the big moves, but Steiner definitely pulled a Suplex on Big Show, the muscles are there to do something. Champions and the Challengers get some more hit and Steiner gets the better of the champs as he gets in the Frankensteiner on Ron Simmons for the win.

Scott Steiner cuts a promo hyping up the Challengers, Venis & Storm.

Test, Rhyno and Rikishi vs. Al Snow, Charlie Hass, Shelton Benjamin

This was really great with all the fast paced, heavyweight action. Benjamin and Hass really shined on this one along with Test. Test gets in the Slams and Running lariat. Benjamin does most of the work on Snow before slamming him down to hit the low drop kick followed by a running Penalty kick for a 2.9 count. The hot tag reaches Rikishi but Benjamin comes in with another Dropkick and finally gets in the Complete Shot for the win.

Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and John Cena vs. Booker T, Triple H and Christian

Angle and Triple starts up with some lock ups followed by Triple H hitting the Jawbreaker. Christian and Benoit get in to start exchanging elbows and chops. The chops from Benoit weaken Christian for a suplex. Cena and Booker T gets some of the moves in. Cena tries the fishermen suplex but Booker counters around with the high moves and gets in the Scissors kick. Benoit comes in again, while Cena gets in the hot tag to Christian. Benoit gets in the German Suplexes on Christian before finishing him with the Diving Headbutt for the pinfall.

Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and John Cena, cuts a promo hyping them up. Booker T and company attacks them from behind before leading to the brawl backstage.

Chavo Guerrero, Goldberg, Rob Van Dam, Eddie Guerrero and Brock Lesnar vs. Batista, Randy Orton, A-Train, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair

This really was a great match, with everyone getting the tag team moves, the guard rails being used as always. Goldberg gets in the powermoves, but A-Train comes in to make it a really competitive match. The Guerreros and Batista along with Flair fights outside. Orton and RVD starts getting much sequence as RVD finally hits the Van Daminator and tries for the Frog Splash, but Orton counters this time, hitting the Superplex from the top rope. Lesnar and Micheals fight along to Shawn countering and Lesnar getting as much as moves possible. Micheals finally comes up for a Superkick, countered into a German, countered into a back elbow followed by Shawn hitting the flying forearm on Lesnar. Chavo and Micheals fights it out before Micheals cuts him off with the Superkick for the win.
