Just from star quality alone I would have to go with Luger. He may have never been a lengthy world champion, but he was hardly ever out of the main event scene no matter where he went. Whereas, Tatanka was a career midcard worker at best.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<p>Forgive my lack of comments in the past, but I have really been enjoying this in the shadows since day one. You have a really nice style that's easy to read over, and I love the graphics you do for it.</p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Michaels - <em>Vince was on the way to kicking Savage out of the limelight at this time, so this match would effectively seal the deal on it, and he'll be in the unemployment line by the end of the year.</em></p><p>

Bret Hart - <em>Can't see a title change coming here, but this being 2 out of 3 falls is a nice deviation from real life.</em></p><p>

The Undertaker - <em>Close this feud with a nice match and continue Taker vs. M$C with some bigger names.</em></p><p>

Razor Ramon - <em>Diesel drops this title so he can move on to others.</em></p><p>

Lex Luger - <em>I'm not sure if you would feel like giving Luger the turn, but either way you go with it, I would like to see him get a nice push.</em></p><p>

Headshrinkers - <em>I always thought these two were a nice team. Like a bright spot in a blank galaxy, as tag teams were so heavily de-emphasized after about 1993.</em></p><p>

Jeff Jarrett - <em>Jeff will make a good contender when Razor wins the IC belt.</em></p>

<p>This diary is excellent!! Genuinely enjoying reading this. The period is the wrestling of my youth and although it's not fondly remembered by all, I will always think kindly of it.</p><p> </p><p>

After a video introduction to SummerSlam opens up, we see an overhead shot of the huge crowd before heading down to ringside where Vince McMahon welcomes us and introduces his announce partners tonight: Jim Ross, and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Welcome everyone to Chicago, Illinois! Welcome everyone to SummerSlam! I’m Vince McMahon and I’m here with Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. Tonight we’ll see history unfold as we may be witnessing the final match of ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage’s illustrious career here in the WWF! He’ll take on Shawn Michaels in a steel cage!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That’s right, Vince. ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ is one of the most talented superstars in the world today, and he knows it. But he may have gotten a bit too big for his britches as the legendary ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage has been backed into a corner and will be fighting with all he’s got to avoid an early retirement from the World Wrestling Federation,” adds Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Also, we’ll see the culmination of a feud that’s been boiling beneath the surface for years as it will be brother against brother as Owen Hart takes on Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart in a Two Out of Three Falls Match for the World Wrestling Federation Title,” says McMahon.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“You’ve got that right, McMahon, these two have been going at it for months and tonight we’re going to see the ‘King of Harts’ Owen Hart finally get the respect he deserves when he beats Bret for the WWF World Heavyweight belt!” adds Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“We will see about that! That’s just one of three title matches we’ll see tonight including our first match featuring Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin R. Schyster who will take on The Headshrinkers for the WWF Tag Team Titles…”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

“Money, money, money, money, money…” The Million Dollar Corporation’s theme music hits as I.R.S. steps out of the curtain wearing black slacks, a short-sleeve white shirt, red suspenders, a red tie, and glasses with a silver briefcase in hand, led by manager ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, who’s carrying the Million Dollar Championship belt with him for the first time in months, while dressed in a black suit with a black tie. Behind them walks Bam Bam Bigelow in his usual flame-covered ring attire as they pass the large video screen which is showing clips of I.R.S. and Bam Bam Bigelow in between flashing ‘The Million Dollar Corporation’s logo across the screen.</p><p> </p><p>

Howard Finkel stands in the middle of the ring introducing our first match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship. First, the challengers, making their way down the aisle led by their manager ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, weighing in at a combined weight of 638 pounds, the team of Irwin R. Schyster and Bam Bam Bigelow!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase laughs at the fans who boo the three men loudly while I.R.S. and Bam Bam show their disdain for the raucous crowd. DiBiase takes his place at ringside while I.R.S. climbs in the ring and grabs a microphone to chide the tax cheats of Chicago. Bigelow warms up by bouncing off the ropes.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“…and their opponents, about to be led down the aisle by their manager Captain Lou Albano and Afa, weighing in at a combined weight of 686 pounds, the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, The Headshrinkers!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The Headshrinkers' contingent makes their way down the aisle led by Captain Lou Albano in one of his trademark Hawaiian shirts. Afa, Samu, and Fatu follow barefoot with tropically decorated lavalava’s wrapped around their waists and the WWF Tag Team Titles slung over their shoulders while Afa also wears a necklace of bones around his neck and carries a staff high. Fatu and Samu stick out their tongues and yell towards the cheering crowd before Fatu finds the camera and shouts something in Samoan.</p><p> </p><p>

They climb in the ring as referee Jim Korderas keeps the two teams separate and The Headshrinkers remove their entrance attire. They hand off the tag team title belts to the referee who holds them overhead. The tag champions crouch down in their corner and perform their trademark hand signal ritual to each other before hugging each other. </p><p> </p><p>

The two teams meet in the middle of the ring and in an attempt to intimidate their opponents Fatu grabs Samu by the head and delivers a headbutt that phases neither man. Not one to be intimidated, Bam Bam Bigelow grabs I.R.S. by the head and delivers a headbutt of his own, knocking Schyster to the mat!</p><p> </p><p>

Fatu takes advantage of the fallen opponent, stomping him as the bell rings as Bam Bam and Samu are directed out of the squared circle. Fatu hits I.R.S. with a barrage of strikes on the mat including a falling headbutt before pulling Schyster to his feet and tagging Samu. They hit a double savate kick knocking I.R.S. to the mat again. Samu hits a falling headbutt of his own and pins Schyster who kicks out at two. Samu continues to keep I.R.S. isolated from Bigelow in the opposite corner of the ring but the tables would turn after I.R.S. reversed an Irish whip and Bam Bam hit Samu with a knee to the lower back.</p><p> </p><p>

I.R.S. would tag in Bam Bam Bigelow and the big man would take control slamming Samu on the mat with a scoop slam and a falling headbutt to the shoulder. Bigelow would then attempt to wear down his opponent with more power moves before tossing him with a snapmare locking him in a neck lock, keeping Samu in the ring unable to tag Fatu back into the match. Samu fights back but Bam Bam floors him again with a press slam before tagging in I.R.S. Schyster controls the pace of the match by locking Samu in an abdominal stretch and grabbing the top rope for extra leverage. The referee forces him to break the hold when he notices the underhanded tactics but I.R.S. responds with more strikes and a side suplex. He’s unable to get a pinfall after an attempt. I.R.S. takes a swipe at Fatu on the apron coaxing him into the ring and drawing the attention of the ref while Bam Bam and I.R.S. lay the boots to Samu behind the refs back. Bam Bam stays in the ring despite never receiving a legal tag and continues to pound his opponent. Another tag brings back in I.R.S. who bounces off the ropes looking for a big clothesline but Samu tosses him overhead with a back body drop leaving both men laying in the ring! Samu and I.R.S. crawl to their corners slowly and hit hot tags on their partners but Bam Bam lunges across the ring and flips Fatu inside out with a huge clothesline! Bigelow is dominating this match!</p><p> </p><p>

Bigelow pulls Fatu to his feet and makes a big mistake by attempting to headbutt his opponent. You can’t headbutt a Headshrinker! Stubbornly, Bam Bam tries again but only hurts himself before Fatu hits a headbutt of his own and whips him to the corner where he hits a big avalanche splash. Bigelow is staggered and Fatu hits him with a Savate kick as his opponent swings his arms to keep his balance before attempting to toss him to the ropes. Bigelow reverses the whip but Fatu ducks under a clothesline before I.R.S. pulls down the top rope sending Fatu over the top in enemy territory. The referee holds Bam Bam back as I.R.S. lays the boots to Fatu on the outside before pulling him to his feet. He fails to learn from the error of his tag partner’s ways as he tries to slam Fatu’s head on the apron with no success, and gets his own face planted on the canvas. Fatu climbs back in the ring where he’s met with a kick from Bigelow and a falling headbutt to the ribs. Bigelow continues to dominate before tagging in I.R.S. once again. Schyster chokes Fatu near the ropes until the referee starts his count and forces him to break the hold. I.R.S. menacingly gets in the referee’s face allowing Fatu to get back to his feet and as I.R.S turns to strike his opponent he gets a kick to the midsection. </p><p> </p><p>

Fatu whips him to the corner and tags Samu back into the match. They hit a double forward Russian leg sweep on Schyster before both nailing him with falling headbutts. Samu pins Schyster for 1..2..and Bigelow breaks up the count before Fatu jumps in the ring and starts to brawl! The Headshrinkers double team Bam Bam, toss him to the ropes and flip him overhead with a huge back body drop. As Bam Bam rolls out of the ring The Headshrinkers continue to double team I.R.S., and with Bigelow neutralized they look to put a wrap on the match! </p><p> </p><p>

Samu bodyslams I.R.S. to the mat and Fatu ascends to the top rope for a big Superfly splash but as he does so, Ted DiBiase hops on the apron distracting Samu and the referee. Samu grabs DiBiase and delivers a headbutt sending him falling to the apron and onto the floor below, much to the delight of the crowd but cheers would turn to jeers as Bam Bam Bigelow climbs back on the apron and shoves Fatu off the top rope as he flips forward and falls hard missing I.R.S. With the referees back still turned and I.R.S. on one knee, Bigelow reaches the briefcase in the corner and slides it to his teammate. I.R.S. picks it up and as Samu turns around he gets nailed right in the head. I.R.S. slides it out of the ring and pins his opponent as the referee counts 1..2..3! Howard Finkel takes the microphone again.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The winners of this match, and NEW World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Irwin R. Schyster and Bam Bam Bigelow!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bigelow and I.R.S. make a quick exit with their tag team title belts over their shoulders after helping their fallen manager. As they walk up the aisle to a chorus of boos from the fans, I.R.S.’s briefcase falls open and three bricks fall to the ground.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That briefcase was loaded, Vince!” says Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, J.R.! I didn’t see anything!” adds Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Schyster quickly loads the evidence back into his briefcase as hurry back up the aisle.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“We’ll see if WWF President Jack Tunney has anything to say about that, but right now, let’s take you to Todd Pettengill who is standing by with the 1-2-3 Kid…”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin R. Schyster defeated The Headshrinkers in 21:10 when Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Samu by pinfall with underhanded tactics. Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin R. Schyster win the WWF World Tag Team Championship titles. </strong></p><p> </p><p>

Todd Pettengill stands in a tuxedo backstage in front of a SummerSlam backdrop with the 1-2-3 Kid to his left in his black, white, and red singlet and tights, with Kid written on his torso above a gold lightning bolt. Pettengill asks 1-2-3 Kid about his upcoming match with Jeff Jarrett.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Todd, I’ve said all along that ‘Double J’ is a great wrestler. He’s probably one of the best wrestlers in the world right now, but I think I’m pretty darn good too. I’ve beaten ‘Double J’ twice and he didn’t take too kindly to that after attacking me multiple times in the ring. Well it’s time for me to get a little payback and I’m going to pin Jeff Jarrett for the 1..2..3!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Todd sends it back to Vince as Jeff Jarrett’s country waltz hits. Double J steps out of the curtain with the arena lights dimmed. He struts down the aisle with a white jacket and pants with two big Js on them. He also wears sunglasses with flashing red lights around the frames and a white cowboy hat that has two big Js on hit as well, also flashing with red lights. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The following contest is scheduled for one fall. First, making his way down the aisle, from Nashville, Tennessee, weighing in at 230 pounds, Double J’ Jeff Jarrett!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd boos Jarrett who responds by telling the fans at ringside to shut up and to "take a look at greatness." He climbs in the ring and struts slowly before raising two fingers on each hand high and soaking in the jeers from the audience. He starts to remove his jacket revealing a brightly colored neon yellow and multi-colored polka dot patterned singlet with straps running down his torso.</p><p> </p><p>

“One! Two! Three!” The 1-2-3 Kid’s music hits and he jogs down the aisle slapping the hands of the fans at ringside.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“And his opponent, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 213 pounds, the 1-2-3 Kid!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The Kid leaps onto the apron before springing over the top rope, and immediately starts to nail Jarrett with a few punches as the bell rings backing him up to the middle of the ropes! He whips Jarrett off the ropes and nails a high crescent kick sending Jarrett to the mat and rolling to the outside. The Kid is wasting no time in this one as he grabs the top rope, springs himself over the top and lands a splash on top of Jarrett as they both fall to the mats beside the ring! He returns to the ring again, bounces off the ropes and nails a flipping senton over the top rope! The 1-2-3 Kid then picks Jarrett up and rolls him back into the mat, runs to the corner, leaps onto the top rope and hits a big leg drop on Jarrett! He grabs his leg an pins him for the 1..2..but Jarrett kicks out milliseconds before the three count!</p><p> </p><p>

The Kid picks Jarrett up to his feet again and whips him into the ropes but Jarrett ducks under a spinning kick, turns and slows down the Kid’s momentum with a thumb to the eye. The fans boo as Jarrett twists the arm of the Kid behind him before grabbing his hair and pulling him back down to the mat. Jarrett drops an elbow then locks the Kid into a headlock. The Kid powers back at the urging of the crowd, hits an elbow to the midsection and puts a leg on top of Jarrett who flips The Kid. He lands on his feet and floors Jarrett with another spinning martial arts kick. </p><p> </p><p>

The Kid looks to end this one again as he sets up for a Moonsault as ‘Double J’ makes his way back to his feet but Jarrett steps out of the way as the Kid gets nothing but mat. Jarrett picks The Kid up and body slams him to the mat before hitting a leg drop and going for the pin. 1..2..The Kid kicks out. Jarrett complains to the referee before lifting the Kid back up to his feet and dropping him again with a neckbreaker. ‘Double J’ drops an elbow before pulling the Kid to his feet again and setting him up for a piledriver. Jarrett lifts him up but the Kid kicks his legs to reverse it into a back body drop as both wrestlers lay on the mat.</p><p> </p><p>

The referee starts a ten count as they both slowly make their way to their feet and the Kid takes control hitting Jarrett with a couple punches before attempting another kick. Jarrett catches his foot and taunts him, wagging his finger but the Kid nails him with an enziguri before bouncing off the ropes and hitting a high-speed, running leg drop. The Kid pulls Jarrett to his feet and whips him into the corner. He nails a kicking combination as Jarrett stumbles out of the corner and nails him with a bulldog! He goes for the pin, 1..2..no! Another kickout from Jarrett!</p><p> </p><p>

The Kid continues to hit Jarrett with more offense until Jarrett turns the tables with a low blow. Jarrett hits the Kid with a slingshot suplex then climbs up and leaps from the second rope with a driving elbow drop. He pins the Kid again, 1..2..no! The Kid kicks out. Jarrett has more complaints to the referee as he pulls the Kid back to his feet again.</p><p> </p><p>

‘Double J’ takes the Kid down to the mat, this time with a Russian leg sweep. He grabs the kids leg and taunts the crowd as it looks like it’s time for the Figure Four! Jarrett twists around to start the hold but The Kid kicks him off and as Jarrett bounces chest first into the turnbuckle, the Kid rolls him up for the pin. 1..2..Jarrett slips out again! </p><p> </p><p>

The Kid kips up and nails Jarrett with a couple punches before whipping him in the ropes and nailing him with a flipping lariat! He climbs to the top rope as Jarrett returns to his feet and hits a spinning crossbody for the pin but Jarrett rolls through and puts his feet on the middle rope for leverage as the referee counts 1..2..3!</p><p> </p><p>

Jarrett rolls out of the ring as the Kid looks shocked at the loss! The referee holds Jarrett’s arm up at ringside as ‘Double J’ winces in pain, the result of a match where the Kid really took It to him. Howard Finkel announces the winner.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That’s not fair! The 1-2-3 Kid deserved better after he laid it all out there on the line tonight,” says Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Jarrett is too smart for The Kid, J.R. He proved that tonight! That’s why he’s one of the greatest wrestlers in the WWF today!” adds Lawler.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“’Double J’ stole that victory, King,” responds J.R.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Some would say the Million Dollar Corporation stole the WWF Tag Team titles in our first match tonight as well. Speaking of the Million Dollar Corporation, lets take you back to the beginning to see where the dissention began between the ‘Native American’ Tatanka and Lex Luger.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A video package is shown highlighting the controversial Summer of Lex Luger and Tatanka beginning with Tatanka’s discovery that Lex Luger had been in contact with Lex Luger. Lex would defend his actions on Monday Night RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I’m a good man. I’m an honest man, and I’m a man of honor. I’m going to continue to represent these hard-working people and this great country because that’s who I am!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ted DiBiase would continue to fuel the fire between the two men as he continued to pursue Luger.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“My biggest acquisition yet is coming, and soon Lex Luger will be another trophy, for the Million Dollar Man’s billion-dollar trophy case! Hahahahahaha!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

With Tatanka still questioning Luger’s moral compass, Luger would confront Tatanka face-to-face on WWF Superstars.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Ever since I've put on the red, the white, and the blue, I've done nothing but prove that I'm an honorable man!"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The two men would attempt to bury the hatchet on the following Monday Night RAW as they’d take on Bam Bam Bigelow and I.R.S. in a tag team contest. Luger and Tatanka would have the upper hand for much of the match but the referee would eventually lose control with all four men brawling in the ring. Looking to hit anything that moves, Luger would knock Bigelow out of the ring before getting overzealous and knocking Tatanka through the ropes with a forearm to the back. As he leaned over the ropes to check on Tatanka, I.R.S. would see a window of opportunity, bounce off the ropes and attempt the Write Off but Luger would duck under the maneuver and nail I.R.S. with his forearm before securing the pinfall. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Take a good look at Luger, McMahon. Soon, he's going to be mine," DiBiase says, appreciating and applauding Luger's performance.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tensions would boil over between the two men later that night during an interview with Todd Pettengill.</p><p> </p><p>

“Lex, what a big victory out there tonight…”</p><p> </p><p>

Before Pettengill can even finish his first question Tatanka stormed in the room.</p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka threw accusations at Luger and the two began shoving each other. The tension erupted into a full-on brawl as Luger and Tatanka rolled around on the floor of the locker room exchanging blows before several face superstars attempted to break up the melee.</p><p> </p><p>

Ted DiBiase and his Million Dollar Corporation would continue to meddle, handing Lex Luger a victory in his match two weeks later on Monday Night RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

Referee Earl Hebner would be knocked unconscious after Lex Luger accidentally Irish whipped Crush into him. With Luger first checking on Hebner he began hyping the crowd, preparing to deliver what would have been a devastating forearm blow. Mr. Fuji would see this window of opportunity and toss salt in the eyes of Luger, blinding him in the process. </p><p> </p><p>

With Luger down to a knee trying to clear his eyes, and Crush making his way to his feet, Nikolai Volkoff would run down the aisle, climb in the ring, and hit a lifting backbreaker on Crush before making a quick exit. Luger would notice Crush laying on the mat and cover his opponent just as Hebner came to, counting the 1..2..3!</p><p> </p><p>

The following week, the Million Dollar Corporation would make their presence felt once again in a match between I.R.S. and Tatanka, causing tensions to explode between the “Native American’ and Lex Luger.</p><p> </p><p>

As it looked like Tatanka was ready to put the finishing touches on I.R.S. hoisting him up for the End of the Trail, Nikolai Volkoff jumped in the ring and blindsided him, nailing him in the back with I.R.S.'s briefcase.</p><p> </p><p>

I.R.S. and Volkoff looked to do more damage when Lex Luger ran in the ring, grabbed the briefcase, and DiBiase's henchmen made a quick exit.</p><p> </p><p>

Lex Luger stood by the ropes, pointing a finger down the aisle towards Schyster, Volkoff, and DiBiase who made their exit. Behind Luger, Tatanka slowly made his way to his feet still feeling the affects of the shot he took moments prior. As he looked up he noticed Luger holding the briefcase that he was belted with only moments before. Tatanka's breathing got more intense and rage filled his eyes.</p><p> </p><p>

Luger turned to see Tatanka standing behind him, putting a hand on Tatanka’s chest trying to explain what happened but Tatanka pushed him away. The briefcase drops to the mat as the two shouted back and forth.</p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka shoved Luger! Luger returned the shove then Tatanka took Luger to the mat with a double-leg take down! The two rolled around in the ring exchanging body shots while WWF officials sprinted down to the ring to break up the fracas!</p><p> </p><p>

“He’s lost it!” yelled Luger, pointing a finger over the shoulder of an official before Tatanka broke free and jumped on Luger again.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“This has been building for weeks and it’s boiling over here tonight!” shouted Vince.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The following week Luger would be confronted on ‘The King’s Court’ as Jerry Lawler claimed to have more evidence of Luger’s negotiations with ‘The Million Dollar Man.’</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“King, I’m not like you. I’m an honest man. I’m a man with good morals and I am NOT a man that's swayed by greed!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Why don’t you tell these people the truth! You know what? I’ll tell them the truth," responded Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Lawler pulled out a large envelope and began to open it.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What I have here, are pictures of YOU, Lex Luger. That’s right, pictures of "Mr. Honesty" and ‘The Million Dollar…”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Luger nailed Lawler with a running forearm sending Lawler to his mat and his crown flying through the air.</p><p> </p><p>

With controversy still in the air, Lex Luger would make a final statement before SummerSlam, coming to the aid of Tatanka following his match with Nikolai Volkoff on Monday Night RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

I.R.S. and Bigelow continued to pound the Native American after the match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"The Million Dollar Corporation is tearing Tatanka apart!" shouts Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bigelow, Volkoff, and I.R.S. continued to put the boots to Tatanka as Lex Luger burst through the curtain and jogged down the aisle!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I told you, McMahon! It looks like Luger wants a piece of Tatanka too and he’s not going to wait until SummerSlam!” shouts The King.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Luger slid into the ring and the Million Dollar Corporation members backed away as Luger stood between them and Tatanka who slowly made his way to his feet. Suddenly, Luger lunges forward and nailed I.R.S. with a hard right! The melee continued as Tatanka joined in as he and Luger cleaned house of the Million Dollar Corporation before backing into each other then turning, ready to brawl. As Bigelow, Volkoff, and I.R.S. retreated, Tatanka and Luger stood face to face, eye to eye.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“It looks like someone needs to tell the Million Dollar Man that Lex Luger is NOT for sale!” exclaims McMahon.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Luger is a fraud, McMahon! He made a big mistake crossing the Million Dollar Corporation!” adds Lawler as the video package fades out.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka’s war cry rings out as we return to the arena.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The following match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way down the aisle, from Pembroke, North Carolina, weighing in at 285 pounds, Tatanka!’</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The fans hop to their feet to cheer as Tatanka runs down the aisle and rolls in the ring. He stomps around in a circle before pausing in the middle of the ring and saluting all four sides of the arena. He then climbed to the second rope and doing a tomahawk chop toward the crowd. He’s wearing his usual ring attire with arm band and a loin cloth with traditional Lumbee Indian designs on them over his blue tights.</p><p> </p><p>

Lex Luger’s music hits and the crowd pops even louder. Luger walks past the big video screen, which flashes his ‘Made in the USA’ logo, and down the aisle in an American flag track jacket on along with his usual patriotic attire.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“…and his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 275 pounds, Lex Luger!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Luger slaps the hands of the fans as he walks down the aisle which is illuminated with red, white, and blue lights before climbing the ring steps and stepping into the ring. Luger flexes in the middle of the squared circle as stars flash on the canvas and sparkling white pyrotechnics fire up from the apron behind him.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Oh yeah, this crowd loves Lex Luger!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Both men pace around the ring before meeting in the middle with referee Earl Hebner. They intensely stare at each other, face-to-face, as Lex Luger extends a hand as a show of sportsmanship.</p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka refuses and has a few words for Luger as he takes a few steps back into his corner. The two men circle each other as the bell rings.</p><p> </p><p>

The two men lock up and Luger powers Tatanka back into the corner where Hebner tells them to break. Luger releases and slowly backs up to the middle of the ring. They circle again before Tatanka pushes Luger back to the middle of the ropes on the opposite side as they break again cleanly. It’s a slow start for two evenly matched competitors.</p><p> </p><p>

They circle once more and grapple before Tatanka hits a kick to Luger’s midsection. He bounces off the ropes and nails a tomahawk chop on Luger. He bounces off the opposite rope and hits another tomahawk chop and then twists Luger’s arm into a hammer lock dropping Luger to a knee. Luger elbows Tatanka in the midsection breaking the hold, tosses him to the ropes and drops him to the mat with a clothesline. Luger immediately locks the seated Tatanka in a rear chin lock. Tatanka fights back to his feet, pushing Luger into the ropes before dropping him to the mat with a scoop slam then bounces off the ropes and hits Luger with a jumping elbow drop. He pins him but Luger kicks out before the two count.</p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka locks Luger into a chinlock as they both lay on the mat. Luger makes his way back to his feet, hits a couple elbows to Tatanka’s gut, bounces off the rope and knocks him to the mat with a running clothesline. Tatanka makes his way back to his feet and gets hit with another running clothesline and returns to his feet for a third that sends him to the ropes and to the outside. Luger flexes and hypes the crowd before stepping through the ropes and hopping down off the ring apron. He picks up Tatanka by the head and rolls him back into the ring. Lex steps back through the ropes and pulls Tatanka to his feet again and backs him up to the ropes before whipping him across the ring. Tatanka ducks under one clothesline attempt, then another, and nails Luger with a flying shoulder block. Tatanka goes for the pin again, 1..2..and Luger kicks out just after two.</p><p> </p><p>

Tatanka pulls Luger to his feet and hits a tomahawk chop to his head, then another, before whipping him into the corner. Tatanka climbs the ropes and starts to pound Luger as the crowd counts, 1..2..3..4..Luger grabs Tatanka by the waist and carries him out of the corner before dropping him throat first on the top rope with a stun gun. Luger looks to take control of this one pulling Tatanka to his feet, tossing him to the ropes and nailing an impressive powerslam! He pins him, 1..2..and Tatanka kicks back out just before three as part of the now-divided crowd cheers. Luger backs into the corner and hops on the second rope, he slaps his arm signaling the flying clothesline that’s about to follow as Tatanka makes his way to his feet. As Luger leaps Tatanka catches him in mid air slamming to the mat with a powerslam of his own! Back and forth we go as both men lay on the mat recovering and the referee begins a ten count. </p><p> </p><p>

They both make their way back to their feet before they’re counted down and Luger attempts a punch which is blocked by Tatanka who responds with a tomahawk chop. Another blocked punch attempt from Luger results in a second tomahawk chop. Tatanka then bounces off the ropes and nails Luger with a floating DDT! Tatanka climbs to the top as Luger makes his way back to his feet and hits a flying tomahawk chop sending Luger back to the mat. Tatanka pins Luger again, 1..2..and Luger kicks out just before the three count! Tatanka pulls Luger up to a seated position and locks in a sleeper hold. Luger looks weary and the referee raises his arm which drops to the mat. He repeats this a second time as Luger continues to fade. He lifts Luger’s arm once again but Luger fights off the hold as the crowd begins to cheer again! </p><p> </p><p>

Lex slowly makes his way back to his feet, elbowing Tatanka in the midsection to break the hold, bounces off the ropes, ducks under a clothesline and comes back with a flying double axehandle. Sending Tatanka to the mat. Luger hops up onto the second rope again and this time nails the flying clothesline and goes for the pin, 1..2..and Tatanka kicks out just before the three count! Luger pulls Tatanka to his feet and scoop slams him to the mat before pulling him to his feet and whipping him to the corner, he sits Tatanka on the top rope and climbs up nailing Tatanka with punches as the crowd counts, 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!</p><p> </p><p>

Luger hops down and whips Tatanka to the opposite corner and follows up with a running clothesline and as Tatanka wearily stumbles out of the corner Luger throws him over his shoulder for the torture rack but Tatanka slips down behind him and nails Luger with the End of the Trail! Tatanka is unable to capitalize as the two men lie on the mat with the referee starting a ten count as Tatanka stirs as he counts, 8..9…and rolls over with his arm across Luger, 1..2..3! NO! Luger kicks out just before the three count.</p><p> </p><p>

They make their way back to their feet and Luger blocks a tomahawk chop and nails Tatanka with a punch, he blocks another and answers with another punch. Luger tosses Tatanka to the ropes and sends him back to the outside with a running clothesline. The two men look exhausted as Luger falls to a knee in the middle of the ring and Tatanka recovers on the outside. </p><p> </p><p>

The crowd begins to stand near the entrance and boos are heard as Ted DiBiase steps out from the curtain and slowly makes his way back down the aisle. Lex shakes it off and makes his way to his feet, he leans over the ropes pointing to DiBiase telling him to get out of here. As DiBiase begins to backpedal with the referee and Luger both pointing him to the back Tatanka rolls back in the ring and looks ready to take advantage of the situation and strike. DiBiase points behind Luger warning him, “You’re making a big mistake! Watch your back, Luger…” As Luger turns around, Luger decks a lunging Tatanka with a flying forearm! He pins Tatanka, 1..2..3!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, Lex Luger!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Luger and Tatanka both lay on the match recovering from an intense back-and-forth battle and Luger slowly helps Tatanka back to his feet as DiBiase watches the two men on the large video screen near the entrance as he makes his exit. Both men are exhausted, drenched in sweat as Luger extends and hand, Tatanka shakes it and the two men hug in the ring as the crowd stands as it appears the two men have settled their differences.</p><p> </p><p>

Luger turns and salutes the fans after his big win but just as Tatanka turns to exit the ring, Luger sprints across and nails him in the back of the head with another forearm! The crowd is shocked!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“No Lex, no!” yells Ross!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“What is the meaning of this?!” questions Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“I told you! You know the meaning of this! Everybody’s got a price, McMahon!” Lawler responds excitedly.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase laughs diabolically as he turns and makes his way back down to the ring. Luger pulls Tatanka up to his feet and hoists him over his shoulders locking him in the torture rack as the crowd erupts in a chorus of boos! Luger refuses to release the hold despite pleas from Earl Hebner and the time keeper continues to ring the bell at ringside. Luger finally releases the hold as DiBiase climbs in the ring and instructs his newest client to do so. Luger drops Tatanka unceremoniously to the outside of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Luger smirks as he takes a large wad of cash from Ted DiBiase and shakes his hand as DiBiase offers his congratulations. As Luger flexes in the middle of the ring, DiBiase puts the Million Dollar Championship belt around his waist as the crowd gets increasingly hostile. DiBiase laughs more as he and Luger exit the ring and DiBiase finds a camera.</p><p>

We all know what happened last time. ‘Big Daddy Cool’ walked away with the Intercontinental Title. ‘Bad Guy’, you’ve seen my bad side, but tonight I’m going to take it to another level! Tonight, I’m not just going to beat you! I’m going to punish you! And after I beat you down in the middle of that ring, I’ll be leaving Chicago with this Intercontinental Title belt over my shoulder,” says Diesel menacingly.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Michaels chimes in again, “That’s right, and after ‘Big Daddy Cool’ takes care of business, and you know that he will, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ is going to steal the show by putting a WWF legend out to pasture. We cut to a live shot of Todd Pettengill standing by with Razor Ramon. Razor is in a purple vest and purple trunks with his hair slicked back, gold chains hanging from his neck, and a toothpick in his mouth.</p><p> </p><p>

Pettengill asks him about his strategy for taking down a big man like ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Oyeme, chico. Listen…to me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the bigger they are, the harder they fall. The only thing bigger than ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel’s ego is his mouth and he’s been running it for weeks. Diesel, take a look at ‘The Bad Guy’ because in just a few minutes, I’m going to walk down that aisle, step in that ring, and show you how bad, I can be. This isn’t going to be a wrestling match, chico, this is going to be a fight, and ‘Big Daddy Cool’ I’m ready for a fight. After that final bell rings, I’m taking the gold, chico. I’m taking that Intercontinental Title. And there’s nothing you can do to stop me.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Pettengill sends it back to Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

The sound of tires screeching echoes through the arena as Razor Ramon’s music hits and the fans pop loudly for ‘The Bad Guy.’</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship! First, the challenger, making his way down to the ring, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 287 pounds, Razor Ramon!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The fans wait in anticipation as the lights dim and yellow razor blades illuminate the aisle. Razor steps out of the curtain with his arms outstretched as he slowly makes his way down the aisle, telling fans to “Take a look at ‘The Bad Guy.’”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Here comes ‘The Bad Guy’ and he looks like he’s ready for a fight!” says Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“You’ve got two, big, tough competitors in this one. This one could get nasty, Vince!” adds Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Razor makes his way into the ring and does his signature taunt, pointing his thumbs to his chest before extending his arms outward as sparkling pyro shoots up from the ring apron behind him.</p><p> </p><p>

A loud semi-truck horn blares over the loudspeakers and the low rumble of an engine continues as the cheers turn to boos. Diesel steps out from the curtain and slowly walks down the aisle in leather pants and a leather vest which he wears over a black singlet that says ‘DIESEL’ across the front of it and the Intercontinental Title hung over his shoulder. He has a black, fingerless leather glove on his right fist which he adjusts as he walks down the aisle. Shawn Michaels is nowhere to be found as it appears Diesel is prepared to take care of business himself.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“And his opponent, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 330 pounds. He is the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion, Diesel!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Diesel’s menacing stare doesn’t break as Razor taunts him to ‘bring it’ in the ring. Diesel steps onto the apron then steps over the top rope before raising his gloved fist in the middle of the squared circle as the ring is illuminated with blue light and sparkling pyrotechnics shoot off behind him.</p><p> </p><p>

As the lights come back up Razor removes his vest and gold chain and ducks between the ropes to hand his gold chain to the attendant at ringside but Diesel runs across the ring and knees him through the ropes! The bell rings.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Razor just made a huge mistake! You can’t turn your back on someone like ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel,” says Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Nobody ever said Razor was the sharpest tool in the shed, J.R.” jokes ‘The King.’</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Diesel steps over the top rope to capitalize on the outside. He whips Razor into the guardrail at ringside and with Razor’s arms hung over the top, Diesel delivers a big boot sending ‘The Bad Guy’ over the top and into the front row. Earl Hebner tries to stop Diesel’s assault but ‘Big Daddy Cool’ shoves him aside, eliciting a warning from the official. Diesel grabs Razor and pulls him back over the railing in his arms then turns and slams Razor back first onto the steel ring post. He picks up Razor and rolls him back in the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Diesel stays in control, stepping back over the top rope and pulling Razor back to his feet and irish whipping him into the corner. Diesel runs across and hits a clothesline, a kick to the midsection and then hits Razor with three back elbows to the chops. As Razor stumbles out of the corner Diesel whips him to the ropes and nails a big boot sending Razor to the mat. Diesel drops an elbow on ‘The Bad Guy’ before pulling him back to his feet. He lifts Razor on his shoulder and as he runs toward the corner in an attempt to drop Razor face first onto the top turnbuckle, Razor slips behind him and shoves Diesel chest first in to the corner.</p><p> </p><p>

As Diesel turns Razor nails him with a hard punch, then another, then another, and staggers Diesel with a discus punch. Razor then bounces off the ropes and drops Diesel with a diving lariat! Razor does his ‘Bad Guy’ taunt as the crowd goes wild! With Diesel on the mat Razor goes to work on the big man’s legs. He grabs one leg and delivers a kick to the hamstring, then another, before spinning and locking Diesel into a single-leg crab. Diesel fights to the ropes to break the hold but as Razor releases, he continues to deliver a few more kicks to the leg as Diesel tries to make his way back to his feet.</p><p> </p><p>

Razor nails Diesel with a couple more rights before whipping him into to the ropes but as Razor goes for a back body drop Diesel grabs him by the hair and slams him face first on the mat. Diesel then delivers a leg drop to the back of Razor’s head before rolling him over for a pinning attempt, 1..2..Razor kicks out! Diesel pulls Razor to his feet and drops him again with a scoop slam and nails another leg drop. Diesel pulls Razor up, hangs him over the second rope, bounces off the ropes and jumps onto Razor’s back with a leapfrog guillotine.</p><p> </p><p>

Diesel continues to punish ‘The Bad Guy’, picking him up and whipping him to the corner. Diesel nails him in the midsection three times with hip checks before grabbing his arm and pulling him in to deck him with a short arm clothesline. He pulls Razor to his feet again and slams him to the mat once again with a big side slam, hooking the leg for the pin, 1..2..Razor kicks out again! Diesel flips his hair and glares at the referee menacingly, slapping his hands together lobbying for a faster 1-2-3 count.</p><p> </p><p>

As the two men make their way to their feet again, Diesel continues to punish the ‘Bad Guy’ as he locks him in a bearhug. Diesel holds on tight as the referee lifts his arm and it drops. He does it again leaving Razor just one more chance to break the hold before it costs him the match. He lifts his arm a third time and Razor extends both arms as the crowd cheers. Razor punches Diesel in the forehead once but the big man holds on. He does it again and Razor regains his footing. He hits another punch and Diesel breaks the hold. Razor bounces back off the ropes but Diesel delivers a kick to the midsection and sets him up for the Jackknife Powerbomb! Diesel tries to hoist him up but Razor flips him over his back with a backbody drop! Both men lie on the mat recovering as a commotion starts to work its way through the crowd from the entryway. Shawn Michaels is walking down the aisle.</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels makes his way down to the ring and slaps his hands on the mat trying to encourage Diesel. Diesel and Razor make their way to their feet. Razor nails a big punch! Diesel nails a big punch! Razor nails another punch! Diesel nails another! The two big men are slugging it out in the middle of the ring! Razor ducks a clothesline from Diesel and takes him to the mat again with a back suplex! Razor hypes the crowd some more as Michaels throws a dramatic fit on the outside. The ‘Bad Guy’ then hops up onto the second rope and as Diesel makes his way to his feet, he leaps and takes him down with a flying bulldog! He goes for the pin 1..2..Diesel kicks out! </p><p> </p><p>

They make their way to their feet and Razor nails Diesel with two more punches before whipping him to the ropes, Diesel comes back and leaps for a crossbody but Razor catches him! He nails him with a huge fallaway slam! What strength by ‘The Bad Guy!’</p><p> </p><p>

Razor hops to his feet and does a wipeout taunt with his arms. “That’s it!” he yells as the crowd jumps to their feet! As Diesel makes his way to his feet Razor pulls him in to set him up for the Razor’s Edge. With Razor’s arms outstretched, Shawn Michaels hops onto the ring apron, distracting both the referee and Razor. Razor drops Diesel to a knee and starts to approach Michaels but Diesel leaps into Razor from behind in the corner with a big splash taking out Hebner in the process.</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels, seeing an opening to sway this one, grabs the Intercontinental Title from the official at ringside. He slides it into the ring and Diesel picks it up. He lines up Razor but Ramon delivers a kick to the midsection, snatches the belt out of Diesel’s hand and crowns him with it! Razor goes for the pin but the referee is still down. There’s nobody to count! </p><p> </p><p>

Michaels hops onto the apron again and Razor grabs him by the neck and flips him over the top rope into the ring. Michaels crawls backwards, begging off as ‘The Bad Guy’ slowly approaches. Diesel slowly comes to behind him and makes his way to his feet and just as Razor gets his hands on Michaels, Diesel grabs Razor’s arms from behind. Michaels stands up but Razor ducks as Michaels nails Diesel right across the jaw with a superkick! Razor nails a big punch sending Michaels flying over the top rope and he turns and pins Diesel as the referee comes to, 1..2..3!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match and NEW World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion, Razor Ramon!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Razor celebrates holding the Intercontinental Title high as Michaels begs Diesel for forgiveness.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Can you believe this? Shawn Michaels just cost Diesel the Intercontinental Title!” shouts Vince!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Razor Ramon is a cheater, McMahon! Did you see him hit Diesel with that belt!” argues Lawler.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Say what you will but ‘Big Daddy Cool’ just got laid out by his partner in crime and Razor Ramon is walking out of here as the Intercontinental Champion,” adds Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“What a night we’ve had so far! We’ve already seen two titles change hands tonight. Will we see another up next? Let’s take you back and show you the brotherly feud between Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart and his brother Owen.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A video package is shown, opening with photos of Bret and Owen hart as young boys, their athletic accomplishments and their early beginnings in the World Wrestling Federation. From there things take a dark turn as Owen confronts Bret at Survivor Series after Owen believes he was the reason he was eliminated in an eventual Hart Family victory. Then we see clips of Owen kicking Bret’s leg out of his leg after they lost a Tag Team title match versus the Quebecers at the Royal Rumble, Owen defeating Bret at WrestleMania but going on to watch his brother win the World Heavyweight Title later that night, and Owen winning the King of the Ring thanks to interference from Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart, who had cost the ‘Hitman’ a match earlier that night against Diesel, though the disqualification allowed Bret to retain his World Heavyweight Title belt.</p><p> </p><p>

Fast forward three weeks as Bret Hart would put his World Heavyweight Title on the line, not against Owen, but against his former tag team partner, ‘The Anvil.’</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I’ve always been a fighting champion. That’s what you do when you’re the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. I’ll put my title on the line. But it’s not going to be against you, Owen. No. I’ve got a bone to pick with YOU, Anvil.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen Hart would slowly make his way down to the ring where he'd eventually play a role in the outcome, jumping on the ring apron to distract the referee from a pinfall attempt. Bret would clock Owen sending him sprawling off the ring apron to the ground below, duck a clothesline from Neidhart, jump on his back and wrap his former teammate up in rolling pinning combination for the win!</p><p> </p><p>

Bret had his arm raised by the referee but doesn’t get to celebrate for long as ‘The Anvil’ decked him from behind. As Owen came to on the outside, his face lit up as he sees an opportunity to join in with Neidhart who’s laying the boots to the fallen champion.</p><p> </p><p>

“Oh come on!” shouted Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

Neidhart pulled Bret to his feet and hoisted him up allowing Owen to hit the ‘Hart Attack’, the former Hart Foundation’s signature move. With officials rushing down to the ring, Neidhart fended them off as Owen locked Bret in the Sharpshooter. Bret screamed in pain as Owen refused to relinquish the hold for what felt like an eternity. Owen finally broke the hold leaving Bret Hart holding his knee in the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

The Hitman’s status for SummerSlam would become a major question mark.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What are the doctors telling you? When will you be back in the ring?” asked Vince in a remote interview with Bret laid up in Calgary.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“I don’t know, Vince. But you can be rest assured that I’m going to be back as soon as I can, and I’m coming back with a fire burning inside me. Owen, you’ve taken this way too far! It’s one thing to try and prove you’re the better wrestler, but you tried to take away my livelihood! This isn’t about a sibling rivalry anymore. No, now you’re a target and I’ve got you in the crosshairs! When I come back, whenever that may be, prepare to be excellently executed!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen had no remorse following the attack.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I have no remorse, Vince. Bret bullied me his whole life and now it’s finally time for payback! Heal up, Bret. I don’t want any excuses when I beat you again, this time for the World Heavyweight Title.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret progressed in his recovery but issued a challenge which Owen would eventually accept.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Owen, I may still be on the mend, but I’m going to be ready and when we step in that ring at SummerSlam, I don’t want there to be any more question of who is the best. I’m challenging you to a 2-out-of-3 Falls match. And when I beat you two times in one night, there won’t be any question of who is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!”</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

"Bret, I've already proven I can beat you. One, two, three, ten, twenty falls, it doesn't matter! I've already proven that I'm the best and at SummerSlam I'm going to take your title and prove once and for all that I am the King of Harts!"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret would return the following week on Monday Night RAW to settle the score.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret “Hitman” Hart made his way down the aisle on crutches!</p><p> </p><p>

“Bret Hart is here!” shouted Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

Hart made his way up the ring steps then gingerly entered the ring with Owen and Neidhart standing near each other in the opposite corner of the ring. Bret grabbed a microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“You two look surprised to see me. What can I say? I was getting a little bit of cabin fever. There’s something I want to get off my chest. Owen, I want you to know that despite what you did to me last month on RAW, I’m still proud that you made it here in the World Wrestling Federation. I want you to know, that you’re still family. You're still my brother. And Owen, there’s one more thing I want you to know…”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen began to verbally question his brother. In an instant, Bret dropped the mic, tossed a crutch into Neidhart then nailed Owen in the midsection sending him to the mat! Bret crosschecked Neidhart over the top rope with the crutch before nailing Owen again in the back with a few more shots and kicking Owen out from under the bottom rope.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The Hitman’s back and he’s getting some revenge!” shouts Randy Savage.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Owen, I want you to know that no thanks to you, my knee is one-hundred percent! At SummerSlam, be prepared to be excellently executed!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen and Neidhart would get revenge the following week during a backstage interview with the ‘Hitman.’</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What everybody saw last week was a little revenge. What you saw was an equalizer. Owen and Neidhart took this to another level when they attacked me several weeks ago and I upped the ante myself! Owen…"</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

Suddenly Hart was floored by a big body! Two men assaulted the champ and the cameras quickly panned back to see ‘The Anvil’ and Owen laying the boots to Bret.</p><p> </p><p>

“Somebody get back there and stop this!” shouted McMahon.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen continued to shout at his brother throughout the attack.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“You’re a coward, Bret, attacking us last week! You’re gutless! This is what you deserve you coward!”</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Gutless? This attack is gutless!” yelled Savage.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret would look to settle the score once again last Monday night on RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Owen, I think it’s pretty clear that you have no interest in a fair fight at SummerSlam. And it’s become very clear that you’ll do anything you can to make sure you have the edge going into our World Heavyweight Title Match, even if you two have to attack me from behind like cowards! Not only am I going to beat you in our 2-out-of-3 Falls Match at SummerSlam, but I’m going to beat you here tonight! It’s time to even the score! Tonight, I’m going to team up with a man who will do just that - a man that will be in my corner on Sunday. I’m bringing an enforcer! It’s time for you and ‘The Anvil’ to man up and I want you both in a tag team match later tonight!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Anvil accepted the challenge on behalf of Owen Hart who looked a bit apprehensive.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I’m glad that’s settled because after that match is over tonight, Owen, I’m headed to SummerSlam, where I will beat you, not once, but twice because I’m something you’ll never be. You might have been lucky to be born under the Hart name, but you need to take a good long look at your brother, because I’m the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret called on an old family friend to watch his back.</p><p> </p><p>

With Bret, Owen, and Neidhart waiting in the ring before their match “Rule, Britannia” blasts over the loudspeakers!</p><p> </p><p>

“Is that who I think it is? Can it be?!” shouted Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

Out from the curtain steps the British Bulldog!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Davey Boy Smith is here! The British Bulldog is back! Can you believe it?”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

With the Bulldog’s help, Bret turned the table on Owen and Neidhart.</p><p> </p><p>

Near the end of the match, Bulldog looked like an absolute powerhouse dominating 'The Anvil' and nailing a powerslam! He clotheslined Owen off the apron before tagging in Bret. Bret would lock in the Sharpshooter on his former tag team partner to earn the submission victory. Bulldog raised Bret's hand high in the middle of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Vince chimes back in, “In a few moments, we’ll see brother versus brother, once again, as Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart and Owen Hart battle it out for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match to see who is the true King of Harts.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen Hart’s very 80’s sounding theme music hits as the fans boo the challenger. Owen walks down the aisle with pink shades on in a black wrestling singlet with pink trim and black boots. Pink lights illuminate the aisle. Jim Neidhart walks behind in black and pink tights of his own, stroking his goatee and laughing spasmodically at the crowd in between intense stars.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The following contest is a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match and is for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Title. To defeat your opponent, you must be the first to win two falls by either pinfall, submission, disqualification or count out. First, the challenger, coming down the aisle accompanied by Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 227 pounds, the ‘King of Harts’ Owen Hart.”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen hops over the top rope and raises his arms in the ring before shouting at the fans. He climbs to the second rope, pulls the shades off his face and breaks them into pieces. He receives words of encouragement from Neidhart as anticipation builds in the arena.</p><p> </p><p>

Suddenly, the squealing guitar of Bret Hart’s music hits and the crowd erupts! The aisle remains lit with pink lighting with Bret Hart’s logo flashing on the concrete. Bret walks out from the curtain in his signature tassled leather jacket, pink tights and a black singlet, pink shades on his face. Behind him walks the Bulldog in his long white and blue tights decorated with the UK flag and a black Hitman track jacket.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by the 'British Bulldog', also from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Bret 'Hitman' Hart!"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret and Bulldog slap the hands of the fans at ringside and Bret has to pull away from an overzealous fan who grabs his arm. He climbs up the ring steps and into the ring opening his arms to the fans and taking in the cheers from the crowd. He takes off his World Title belt and his jacket and hands them to the official at ringside before hopping down and putting his pink shades on the face of a little boy at ringside. He climbs back in the ring where he and Bulldog hug before ‘The Anvil’ and Bulldog climb out of the ring. Owen and Bret meet in the middle of the squared circle for a briefing with referee Jack Doan. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“This is just a reminder to the fans that this is a two-out-of-three falls match. Once either Bret or Owen wins a fall, there will be a three-minute break in between each fall,” explains Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“There’s only going to be two falls, J.R. and Owen Hart is going to win both of them,” adds Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The bell rings as they step back to their corners.</p><p> </p><p>

As the two brothers step back toward the ring, Owen delivers a slap across the face of Bret! Bret immediately returns a harder slap of his own and as Owen shakes it off and runs at Bret, ‘The Hitman’ takes him down with a drop toe hold. Bret and Owen wrestle around a bit exchanging technical maneuvers resulting in a couple one-count pinning attempts but Bret eventually locks Owen in a headlock on the mat. Owen grabs the ropes and the referee breaks the hold.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen complains to the referee accusing Bret of pulling his hair but the Doan isn’t buying it. They lock up again and this time Owen gains the upper hand, with more technical maneuvers before locking Bret in a hammerlock but capitalizing further with a bridging German suplex for a pin! 1..2..Bret kicks out! They make their way back to their feet and Owen attempts to whip Bret to the corner but Bret reverses it. The ‘Hitman’ hits a monkey flip sending Owen flying behind him to the mat. Owen stands back up but Bret tosses him again with an arm drag and locks him into an armbar. Owen fights back to his feet and flips forward reversing the hold and grabs Bret’s hair and pulls him down to the mat. Owen nails a jumping leg drop and goes for the pin again but Bret kicks out before a two count.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen looks to capitalize more pulling Bret to his feet and hitting him with a European uppercut, and another, before knocking him down to the mat with a standing dropkick. He wastes no time and climbs to the top rope and leaps off nailing a diving elbow drop and going for the pin. 1..2..Bret kicks out just before three. Owen stands up and grabs Bret’s legs and stomps him in the midsection. He pulls Bret to his feet and tosses him to the ropes and grabs him for a DDT, but Bret reverses it into a bridging German suplex for the pin, 1..2..Owen kicks out!</p><p> </p><p>

They both make their way to their feet and Owen attempts to kick Bret but Bret catches his leg. Owen attempts an Enziguri but Bret ducks and twists setting up Owen into a bow and arrow stretch! Owen yells in pain as Bret rolls him into the maneuver but Neidhart distracts the referee by jumping on the apron. Bulldog begins to turn the corner on the outside but the referee instructs him to return to his side of the ring as Bret releases the hold. Bret pulls Owen to his feet and whips him across and Owen goes hard into the corner chest first. As he bounces back Bret takes him down with a belly to back suplex. Bret hops up to the second rope and as Owen makes his way to his feet Bret decks Owen with a flying clothesline.</p><p> </p><p>

With Owen on the mat, Bret hits him with a leg drop. Bret stands up, grabs Owen’s leg and goes to twist him into a Sharpshooter but Owen kicks Bret to the outside right in front of Neidhart.</p><p> </p><p>

As Owen distracts the referee Neidhart attacks Bret with punches at ringside. Bulldog runs to Hart’s aid but not before Neidhart can whip the ‘Hitman’ right into the steel steps. Bulldog clocks Neidhart from behind with a clothesline, they brawl on the outside as Doan jumps down to break up the melee. After two more officials come down to ringside to break up the fracas, Doan points both men to the back. As the two men are escorted to the back, Doan shares words with Howard Finkel who makes an announcement.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee for this contest has just informed be that Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart and the British Bulldog have been BANNED from ringside!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen throws a tantrum in the ring, jumping up and down as Bret gathers himself on the outside after Neidhart’s attack. Bret rolls back into the ring but as he makes his way to his feet Owen chop blocks his knee right out from under him! Bret holds his knee in pain as Owen goes to work, stomping on the knee. He jumps to the outside and slams Bret’s injured knee on the ring apron! He pulls Bret to the corner, wrapping his knee around the steel ring post, not once but twice!</p><p> </p><p>

Owen pushes a Spanish announcer off of his steel chair, folds it up and slides it into the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What is Owen doing? He’s lost it!” yells Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen climbs back into the ring and without hesitation, he slams the steel chair right on Bret’s knee, ignoring the warnings from the referee. The referee calls for the bell as Owen continues his assault.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Owen Hart has snapped!” yells Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“No! Owen Hart is doing whatever it takes to win this match!” Lawler fires back.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Ladies and gentleman, the winner of the first fall as a result of a disqualification, Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd has a mixed reaction as they see Bret continuing to get assaulted in the ring. Owen pulls Bret’s leg through the chair and hops up to the second rope then jumps off landing right on the chair smashing Bret’s knee in the steel.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Owen is trying to end Bret Hart’s career!” yells Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen steps to the outside and pulls him to the ring post again. He locks in a figure four leglock around the ring post! Bret is flailing his arms frantically as Owen continues to clamp on the hold. The referee instructs Owen to break the hold and gives him a ten count to do so. Owen breaks the hold then rolls in the ring, yelling at Jack Doan.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ring the bell!” he says. He points at the timekeeper. “Ring the damn bell!”</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Owen’s right! It’s time to start the next fall! Rules are rules!” shouts the King.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jack Doan talks to the timekeeper, another official, and the timekeeper at ringside while the ‘Hitman’ continues to lay on the mat holding his knee. The timekeeper returns to the table and rings the bell as the fans begin to boo loudly.</p><p> </p><p>

“Rules are rules, J.R.! Owen knew exactly what he was doing!” responds Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen drags Bret over to the ropes and puts Bret’s leg on the bottom one. He stands over it and drops down onto the knee as Bret screams in pain. He does it again! And a third time!</p><p> </p><p>

Owen drags his brother to the middle of the ring and locks in the Sharpshooter! Bret fights to break the hold. He pushes up trying to reverse the maneuver but can’t and falls back to the mat. Owen raises a finger in the air signaling he’s number one before cranking back farther putting more pressure on Bret’s knee and lower back.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret grabs his hair as he continues to fight but eventually has no choice but to submit. The referee signals for the bell.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the second fall as result of a submission, Owen Hart!”</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“We’re seeing the birth of a new World Champion!” shouts Lawler. “There’s no way Bret can recover from this!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen releases the hold and returns to his corner, looking at the referee, then the timekeeper and pointing to his wrist as if he’s wearing a watch. The fire burns in Owen’s eyes as he raises his arms soaking in the jeers from the crowd. Bret continue to lay on the mat holding his knee as Owen continues to taunt the crowd, stepping on the second rope and raising his arms again.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret begins to pull himself up on the ropes but he can’t put weight on the leg. He limps as he walks on one side of the ring using the rope for support. The bell rings and Owen sprints across but Bret ducks, pulling the top rope down sending Owen flying to the mats on the outside!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That might be the window that Bret Hart needs!” shouts Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Window? The ‘Hitman’ needs a doctor!” says Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret grabs the top rope and pulls himself over the top, landing on Owen with a slingshot plancha! He takes a moment to recover but rolls back into the ring. The ‘Hitman’ continues to limp using the ropes for leverage as Owen rolls into the ring still dazed. Owen comes to his feet and approaches Bret who is backed into a corner. Bret kicks Owen in the midsection, uses his arms to pull himself onto the top turnbuckle and flips over Owen for a sunset flip pin, 1..2..Owen kicks out! Owen is back on his feet now and stomps Bret again. He grabs his leg but as Owen leans down to taunt him, Bret grabs Owen by the hair and punches him. And again! Bret’s firing rapid fire punches!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Bret Hart is fighting with everything he’s got!” yells J.R.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen backs up wobbled by the blows and as Bret pulls himself to his feet he hits Owen with an inverted atomic drop, backs into the ropes and decks him with a flying clothesline! Bret goes for the pin, 1..2..and Owen kicks out. Bret backs into the corner and nails a driving elbow drop from the second rope. He pins Owen again, 1..2..No! Owen kicks out again. Bret makes his way back to his feet and drops Owen with a backbreaker but it was an ill-advised maneuver.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret can’t capitalize as he holds his knee, still feeling the pain from Owen’s earlier assault. They both slowly make their way to their feet but as Bret goes for a strike Owen grabs Bret by the midsection and tosses him with a belly to belly suplex. Owen makes his way to the top rope and waits for Bret to stand again before nailing him with a front missile drop kick! Owen goes for the pin, 1..2..Bret kicks out just before the three count!</p><p> </p><p>

Owen looks exhausted at this point but pulls Bret back to his feet. He picks Bret up and buries him with a spike piledriver! He goes for the pin again, 1..2..3! No! Bret barely kicks out! Owen can’t believe it!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What does Owen have to do to beat his brother?” asks Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Owen steps over to Bret’s legs again he steps through and twists Bret’s legs around his.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“He knows what he has to do!” says the King</strong></p><p> </p><p>

He spins and sits back locking Bret into the Sharpshooter!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“I told you! We’re going to have a new champion!” shouts Lawler!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret is yelling in pain again, fighting with all he’s got! It doesn’t look like Bret can take much more but as Owen raises an arm to signal he’s number one for the second time tonight, the released pressure allows Bret to flip Owen and reverse the hold! Bret sits back, as Owen fights frantically for the ropes. Owen is scratching and clawing, desperately trying to break the hold but as Bret sits back and tightens it more Owen taps out! The referee calls for the bell!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The winner of this match and STILL World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret lays exhausted in the ring and slowly makes his way to his feet, still unable to put much pressure on his knee as the referee hands him the belt and raises his hand.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Unbelievable!” shouts Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart is one tough son of a gun!” says Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The British Bulldog makes his way into the ring to congratulate the World Champ. He hugs Bret who puts his arm around the Bulldog who assists him out of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

We join McMahon, Ross, and Lawler at the announce table as they break down the last match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“You know they say, anything can happen in the WWF and I think we’re seeing that tonight,” says Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“I’ve got a feeling things are only going to get stranger Vince…” says Ross as the lights go out in the arena. “See what I mean?”</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“That can only mean one thing. It’s The Undertaker!” exclaims Vince.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The bells toll as blue lights and fog fill the arena. Fans hold their lighters in the air in anticipation of the arrival of The Undertaker. The crowd is eerily quiet, not knowing exactly what to expect from this spectacle as The Undertaker’s organ music plays. Ted DiBiase emerges from the curtain first, laughing, and takes about ten steps down the aisle before turning and pointing to the curtain.</p><p> </p><p>

The Undertaker emerges walking slowly with a dark overcoat, a dark hat, and hair covering his pale face. They slowly make their way down to the ring where DiBiase steps through the ropes and The Undertaker pauses on the top of the ring steps, he raises his arms and the lights come up as the crowd begins to buzz. The Undertaker removes his coat and hat revealing black attire with grey gloves and spats and steps into the ring as Ted DiBiase grabs a microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“For two months I’ve warned all of you that the Million Dollar Corporation is going to continue to get stronger than ever. I made three promises, all of which have come true. First, I told you that I would buy The Undertaker. I did. I told you that Irwin R. Schyster and Bam Bam Bigelow would win the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team titles. They did. I told you I’d buy Lex Luger. I did. Hahahahaha! There’s an important lesson to learn here. Everybody’s…got…a price! Hahahahaha!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Just as DiBiase finishes the lights go out again! All that can be seen is the darkness until fans start igniting their lighters again as they sit in silence. You can hear a pin drop…</p><p> </p><p>

Paul Bearer and The Undertaker slowly make their way down to ringside. The Undertaker climbs the ring steps as DiBiase looks on shocked with his Undertaker staring ahead, motionless. The Undertaker raises his arms as the house lights come up. He removes his hat and overcoat revealing purple gloves and spats and steps into the ring, slowly approaching DiBiase who steps out of the ropes. The Undertaker then stands face to face with DiBiase’s Undertaker.</p><p> </p><p>

Flashbulbs pop as the crowd is uncertain what to make of the spectacle before their eyes. The two Undertakers continue to stand motionless face-to-face as the bell rings.</p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase’s Undertaker attempts to strike first with an overhanded punch but The Undertaker blocks it. The Undertaker returns a blow staggering DiBiase’s Undertaker. He attempts to strike back but The Undertaker blocks it again and nails him with another blow sending him back into the ropes. The Undertaker attempts to whip DiBiase’s Undertaker into the ropes but it’s reversed but as The Undertaker rebounds off the ropes he decks DiBiase’s Undertaker with a flying clothesline! DiBiase’s Undertaker sits up!</p><p> </p><p>

He makes his way back to his feet and takes another punch. And another before reversing another Irish whip and nailing The Undertaker with a big boot, sending him back to the ropes. DiBiase’s Undertaker lunges across the ring and takes both men over the top with a flying clothesline. They make their way to their feet and exchange huge punches on the outside before DiBiase’s Undertaker whips Bearer’s Undertaker into the steel steps. He rolls The Undertaker back into the ring where he sits up.</p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase’s Undertaker whips The Undertaker to the corner and runs towards him but gets a big boot to the face, sending him spinning backward, but he spins and approaches again before The Undertaker grabs him by the throat and tosses him back into the corner. The Undertaker hits him in the midsection with rapid punches before grabbing his arm and climbing to the top rope. The Undertaker tightropes across the top and comes down with a hard strike onto the back of DiBiase’s Undertaker. DiBiase’s Undertaker sits up once again and makes his way back to his feet. The Undertaker bounces off the ropes and DiBiase’s Undertaker grabs him by the throat for a chokeslam but The Undertaker breaks his grip with a kick in the midsection. He bounces off the ropes and nails him with a running DDT!</p><p> </p><p>

The Undertaker attempts to whip his opponent into the ropes but it’s reversed once again, but this time The Undertaker ducks under a big boot, stops, turns and hits DiBiase’s Undertaker with a chokeslam!</p><p> </p><p>

He does a throatslash gesture as the fans rise! DiBiase’s Undertaker makes his way to his feet but The Undertaker grabs him, spins him upside down and buries him with a Tombstone Piledriver! He crosses DiBiase’s Undertaker’s arms over his chest, flips his hair back, and rolls his eyes back as the referee counts 1..2..3!</p><p> </p><p>

As The Undertaker stands in the ring over the seemingly lifeless body of DiBiase’s Undertaker, The Million Dollar Corporation jogs down to ringside. Lex Luger, Bam Bam Bigelow, I.R.S., and Nikolai Volkoff surround all four sides of the ring as Ted DiBiase laughs diabolically.</p><p> </p><p>

I.R.S. hops on the apron and The Undertaker knocks him off with a punch! Volkoff does the same but gets hit with another punch but Bam Bam and Luger make their way into the ring and start to beat down the Undertaker. As Bam Bam and Luger fire punches and kicks the other two men make their way into the ring and continue the assault. The Undertaker fights back powerfully clearing the ring of Bam Bam, Luger, and Volkoff. The Undertaker then chokeslams I.R.S. in the middle of the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

Suddenly, the lights go out again…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What in the world is going on here?” asks Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The bell tolls again. The bell tolls a second time. On the third toll the blue lights come up again as the organ music hits and ANOTHER Undertaker makes his way down the aisle.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What in the world? Can you believe this? I can’t believe what I’m seeing with my own eyes!” says Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“He’s HUGE, McMahon! This must be DiBiase’s big surprise!” exclaims Lawler.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“He looks like he’s twice the size of The Undertaker!” adds Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A huge man walks down the aisle with long black hair in his face, a black overcoat and a black hat. The Undertaker stares on motionless. This larger Undertaker climbs the ring steps and steps into the ring and stands face to face with The Undertaker. He removes his coat, then reaches up and slowly removes a hat and…a wig? A large bald man with an intense stare, and gritting teeth stares into the eyes of The Undertaker.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That’s…that’s Bundy! That’s King Kong Bundy!” shouts Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bundy and The Undertaker begin to exchange blows in the ring as the rest of The Million Dollar Corporation jumps back into the altercation. They beat down The Undertaker once more, this time The Undertaker can’t fight back. ‘The Million Dollar Man’ laughs maniacally once again.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“King Kong Bundy and The Million Dollar Corporation are taking The Undertaker apart!” shouts Vince.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Luger whips The Undertaker into the corner and King Kong Bundy runs across and crushes him with an Avalanche! The Undertaker crumbles to the mat as Bigelow and Luger drag his body to the middle of the ring. They all exit, leaving The Undertaker’s motionless body for the shocked fans to see.</p><p> </p><p>

They all walk back up the aisle with DiBiase, admiring their work while the fans boo. Suddenly, The Undertaker sits up and turns to stare down his attackers! The crowd erupts as the dead man rises once again and Paul Bearer holds the urn high. The Undertaker exits the ring and slowly stalks his attackers all the way to the back.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Can you believe what we’ve seen tonight? Anthing can happen in the World Wrestling Federation!” says Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Anything can and will happen because ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ is just moments away from ending the career of ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage in a steel cage!” responds Lawler.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Before tonight’s main event, let’s take a look back at the career of the ‘Macho Man.’”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage pulls his shades down his nose, stares at Pettengill, then stares into the camera.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Do I look worried? I’ve stood face to face with the best in the world. I’ve beaten bigger and badder men then Shawn Michaels, yeah. Don’t close the book on the ‘Macho Man!’ When you look into these eyes you still see the fire burning in the belly of the beast, yeah. The story doesn’t end here at SummerSlam, dig it!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a steel cage match! First, making his way down the aisle, from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at 225 pounds, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

He dances down the aisle then pulls his shades down his nose to catch a glimpse of himself in the lens of the camera being held in front of him. He tosses his hair around with a smirk on his face before climbing into the ring through the door in the steel structure. Michaels spins around on the ring arms outstretched before dropping into his signature flex in the middle of the ring, then dances around removing his entrance attire.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Shawn Michaels looks as self-assured as ever,” says Ross.</strong></p><p><strong>

<strong>“As he should be! Tonight ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ is going to cement his name in the history books as the man who ended the career of ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage!” adds ‘The King.’</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd erupts as the slow build to ‘Macho Man’s ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ theme hits.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Speaking of the ‘Macho Man,’ here he comes!"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage steps out of the curtain in bright orange based, multi-colored attire. He’s got his trademark shades on his bearded face and a cowboy hat and tassled jacket to match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“And his opponent, making his way down the ring, from Sarasota, Florida, weighing in at 250 pounds, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage spins around in the aisle as the crowd goes beserk, pointing to the fans in the upper bowl as he slowly approaches the ring. He walks around the entirety of the ring slapping the hands of some fans before climbing in the door of the cage. He climbs the top rope in opposite corners with a finger in the air, leaning out from the top of the cage soaking in the cheers of what could be his final entrance in the World Wrestling Federation. He removes his hat, glasses and jacket and pulls on the top rope loosening up as Michaels jumps around to do the same. They meet in the ring to exchange words with the referee, Earl Hebner.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“This is just a reminder to the fans that in order to win this match, either Shawn Michaels or Randy Savage will have to escape through the door of the steel cage or climb over the top with both feet touching on the outside. There are no pinfalls, no submissions, and no disqualifications in this one,” explains Jim Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The bell rings as we see a wide shot of Savage and Michaels stand face to face with flashbulbs popping all around.</p><p> </p><p>

Savage has words for Michaels who chews his gum obnoxiously with a smirk on his face. Suddenly, Michaels turns and bolts for the door of the cage! As he attempts to climb through the ropes to exit Savage grabs him by the hair and leads him around the ring briefly before running across and throwing him face first into the cage!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Michaels won’t be able to escape from this one that easily!” says Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

With Michaels on the mat, Savage drops down to his knees next to him and starts hammering with punches while Michaels desperately protects himself with his arms. Savage stands up and twirls a finger in the air as the crowd goes wild. He picks Michaels up by his hair and tosses him to the ropes, bounces off the ropes on the other side of the ring and hits him with a back elbow which stuns Michaels before bouncing off the ropes behind him and driving him forward into the cage once again with a high knee to the back!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Randy Savage is punishing ‘The Heartbreak Kid!’” yells McMahon.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage delivers a kick to the midsection of Michaels before pulling him to his feet again, he whips Michaels to the corner and Michaels flips heels over head over the top rope sandwiching himself between the ropes and the cage. Seeing an opportunity, Savage head to the opposite corner of the ring and begins to climb the ropes. He grabs onto to the top of the cage to begin his ascent over but Michaels runs across the ring to grab Savage’s boot and pulls him off of the top of the cage. Savage kicks Michaels off, causing Michaels to roll backwards but back up to his feet but Savage turns and leaps out of the corner to nail a double axehandle dropping Michaels back down to the mat. Savage nails a jumping knee drop on Michaels. Savage begins to pull Michaels back to his feet but Michaels grabs the front of Savage’s tights and pulls him face first into the steel cage, turning the tables.</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels lays the boots to Savage before pulling him up to his feet and whipping him to the corner. Michaels nails a couple left jabs before hitting him with a discus punch sending Savage stumbling out of the corner, before Michaels hops up to the second rope and drops the ‘Macho Man’ to the mat with a diving bulldog. Michaels then tries to make an exit out of the cage door but Savage recovers fast enough to grab Michaels foot and pull him back into the ring. Michaels who is bouncing on one foot nails Savage in the head with an enziguri sending Savage face first to the mat.</p><p> </p><p>

With the door partially blocked by Savage, Michaels heads to the opposite corner of the ring. He climbs the ropes, one by one, before beginning to climb the top of the cage. The crowd gets hot as it looks like Michaels may be able to escape but Savage makes his way back to his feet. Michaels has one leg over the top as Savage begins to climb, grabbing Michaels leg preventing him from exiting before pulling himself up to the top rope. With Michaels dropping back down the two men balance on the top rope exchanging blows! Michaels hangs swinging on the cage with one arm and leg but a big elbow from Savage drops Michaels to the mat.</p><p> </p><p>

Savage hops down to capitalize, pulling Michaels up then hoisting him over his shoulder. He attempts to hit Michaels with snake eyes over the top rope but Michaels slips behind and runs Savage face first into the cage once again. As the two men slowly make their way back to their feet, Michaels runs, leeps off the second rope and nails Savage with a springboard back elbow. Michaels then pulls Savage to his feet and sets him up for a piledriver but Savage kicks his legs to reverse it and flips Michaels over his back to the mat! Savage pulls Michaels to his feet before scoop slamming him in the middle of the ring and dropping another knee. He makes his way to the corner of the ring and begins to climb up once again.</p><p> </p><p>

Savage is already to the top before Michaels makes his way back to his feet. He grabs Savage by the boot and pulls him back down and begins to scale up the cage quickly past him. Michaels has both legs over the top of the cage as Savage frantically scales back up the cage and grabs on, preventing Michaels from climbing down. He slowly pulls Michaels back over the top, but Michaels capitalizes, tossing Savage’s arm over his shoulder and they both crash to the mat with a back drop! They both lie in the middle of the ring, chests heaving as it looks like they’d both been in a car crash.</p><p>

Michaels kips up! He goes to the corner of the ring, climbs the turnbuckle and flies off, nailing Randy Savage with a flying elbow drop!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“That’s gotta be it! All Michaels has to do is escape and Randy Savage’s career will be over!” shouts Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Michaels slowly crawls his way to the corner of the ring. He begins to climb through the ropes as Savage rolls once towards him and begins to crawl after him. Michaels has two hands on the floor but before he can fully escape, ‘Macho Man’ grabs his boot once again, sliding him back in the ring. Michaels and Savage stand toe to toe again as Michaels takes a swing. Savage ducks then lifts Michaels and hits him with an atomic drop which sends Michaels forward face first into the cage. Savage catches him on the rebound and scoop slams him in the middle of the ring. </p><p> </p><p>

‘Macho Man’ then climbs the ropes, it looks like he may get out! He has one leg over the top of the cage but he pauses and looks up a the fans in the rafters! He turns to look back at the ring, he swings his leg back over and sits on the joint of the two cage walls.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“What is Savage doing? What is Savage doing?!” yells Vince.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage points to the rafters, spinning a finger in the air and leaps from almost the top of the cage nailing Michaels with his signature flying elbow drop!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Oh my god! Randy Savage just hit Michaels with a flying elbow off the top of the cage!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Michaels and Savage lie motionless in the ring, their bodies broken from an intense match. Savage begins to stir, and slowly begins crawling toward the cage door he crawls through the ropes and Michaels remains motionless as the crowd goes wild and hops to their feet!</p><p> </p><p>

Amongst the commotion, nobody seems to notice a near seven-footer running down to ringside. Diesel turns the corner and mafia kicks the cage door into the face of Savage!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“No! Randy Savage was going to win this match! Diesel slammed the door right on him!” yells Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“Diesel just slammed the door on Macho Man’s career!” shouts Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Officials try to hold Diesel back but he climbs into the cage. He pulls Savage’s head between his legs and raises his fist in the air before pumping his arm signaling it’s time for the Jackknife. As Michaels makes his way back to his feet, Diesel Jackknife Powerbombs Savage in the middle of the ring! The crowd is shocked.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Diesel is handing Shawn Michaels this match. We’re witnessing the end of the ‘Macho Man’,” yells Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Diesel pulls Michaels to his feet but Michaels shoves him. The ringside microphones catch Michaels’ words. “Not like this, dammit!” Michaels shoves Diesel again as ‘Big Daddy Cool’ steps through the ropes and exits the cage. Michaels watches Diesel exit but as Savage makes his way back to his feet, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ nails Savage with the Sweet Chin Music!</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels turns and walks to the corner with is hands on the top rope and his forehead on the top turnbuckle, appearing to question everything that just transpired. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Even Shawn Michaels can’t in good conscience win this match like this!” says Ross.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage slowly makes his way back to his feet, staggered and bleeding from the mouth. He points at himself, then Michaels, and motions for Michaels to hit him again. Michaels steps back in the ring and pauses as Savage continues to sway, but nails him again with the superkick!</p><p> </p><p>

With Savage out cold, Michaels climbs through the ropes and hops down to the floor.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels!”</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The energy seems to have been sucked out of the crowd as Michaels backs his way down the aisle without his usual energy, contemplating what just happened.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Fans, it appears ’Macho Man’ Randy Savage, one of the greatest wrestlers and entertainers in World Wrestling Federation history, has just wrestled his last match in the WWF,” says Vince.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“I’m still shocked, Vince. I’m speechless,” adds Ross.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

“It’s an end of an era, McMahon,” adds Lawler.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Randy Savage makes his way to a knee, then back to his feet. He takes a deep breath in the middle of the ring before extending his arms and slowly spinning as the fans begin to chant his name. He claps applauding the fans, thanking them before slowly climbing to the top of one corner of the cage. He raises his finger in the air to a standing ovation as we fade to black.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Shawn Michaels defeated Randy Savage in a Cage Escape match in 25:03 when Shawn Michaels escaped the cage. During the match we also had Diesel run in and attack Savage.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ultimately I put my fandom for the Macho Man aside and went a direction I thought would be best for the company and that's utilizing Savage in one final main event to give Shawn Michaels a boost to put him right up there with Bret Hart as the headliners in the WWF. I really feel like the WWF was lacking a strong heel at the top here with Yokozuna starting to lose his hype and Shawn and Diesel starting to get positive reactions from the fans. <p>I really enjoyed the PPV, I will admit that the match write-ups were excellently written but they were also a little too lengthy for my liking. I end up skimming them and only reading the matches that interested me. However, I will freely admit to being strange and there is nothing wrong with longer match write-ups.</p><p> </p><p>

I also really like your roster graphic. That is top notch work, it sort of reminds me of an old WWF program from that time period.</p>

They enter the ring where Michaels grabs a microphone. The crowd boos them both.</p><p> </p><p>

“Hold on, please, hold on. There’s something I have to get off my chest. I’m a proud man, but we all make mistakes, some bigger than others. I didn’t sleep a wink last night and I owe somebody an apology.”</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels gets down on his knees and puts his hands together around the microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

The fans boo Diesel stands with his arms crossed thinking, then smirks and opens his arms. Michaels leaps into his arms and animatedly kisses him on the top of the head several times.</p><p> </p><p>

As we return from commercial, Kwang waits in the middle of the ring doing martial arts poses before spitting red mist into the sky.</p><p>

“One! Two! Three!” The 1-2-3 Kid’s music hits as he jogs down the aisle, slapping the fans’ hands before jumping up to the ring apron and leaping over the top rope. The bell rings as Kwang and The Kid approach each other, both in martial arts stances.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a poor match, 1-2-3 Kid defeated Kwang in 9:49 by pinfall.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Comments: In a relatively unexciting bout, the 1-2-3 Kid and Kwang battled it out in a martial-arts focused match. Ultimately, the Kid would earn the win after landing a Moonsault on his masked foe.</em></p><p> </p><p>

“Money, money, money, money, money…” ‘The Million Dollar Man’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring with all five members of his Million Dollar Corporation behind him including Bam Bam, I.R.S., Nikolai Volkoff, King Kong Bundy, and the ‘Million Dollar Champion’ Lex Luger.</p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase laughs diabolically as he leads his men down the aisle. The fans boo loudly as Bigelow and Bundy tell them to shut their mouths. Luger walks behind them with a smug smirk on his face, wearing a brand new, perfectly-tailored suit and the Million Dollar Championship belt around his waist.</p><p> </p><p>

Vince McMahon stands in the middle of the ring next to ‘The Million Dollar Man’ with his Corporation standing behind him. McMahon asks about SummerSlam as DiBiase hypes his Million Dollar Corporation including the NEW Tag Team Champions. McMahon has a surprise from Jack Tunney.</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd cheers and DiBiase calms Bigelow and I.R.S. After doing so, McMahon asks about DiBiase’s surprise he had for The Undertaker but DiBiase deflects the questions to King Kong Bundy, who has a message of his own.</p><p> </p><p>

He steps into the ring and does points with his thumbs to his chest before throwing his arms open wide in the ‘Razor’s Edge’ taunt.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler interviews Razor about SummerSlam but when ‘The King’ insinuates that he’s the reason why the ‘Macho Man’s career in the WWF is over, Razor gets in his face and snatches the microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

We return from another commercial break as Bob “Spark Plugg” Holly, no longer to be known as Thurman “Sparky” Plugg is introduced in the ring to cheers from the fans. Owen Hart’s music hits as the cheers turn to jeers as he makes his way to the ring with Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart behind him.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen has a sour look on his face as he pulls his arms away from the fans as he walks down the aisle. He climbs onto the ring apron then hurdles over the top rope. The bell rings to get this one started but as the fans chant “Bret! Bret! Bret!” Owen throws a tantrum, telling them to “Shut up!”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a decent match, Owen Hart defeated Bob Holly in 7:21 by submission with a Sharpshooter.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Comments: Owen Hart bounced back from his SummerSlam loss with a strong performance in his win over Bob 'Spark Plug' Holly. Owen would lock in the Sharpshooter to earn the submission victory and earned heat from the crowd when he refused to relinquish the hold, clearly showing frustration from his loss the night before.</em></p><p> </p><p>

While Bigelow warms up, Earthquake’s theme music hits as the big man and his huge tag team partner slowly walk down the aisle with menacing looks on their face. They step through the ring ropes and stand face to face with Bigelow and I.R.S as the bell rings. Bam Bam and Earthquake start this one as Bam Bam bounces off the ropes and collides in the middle with Earthquake who doesn’t budge. He tries again with the same result as Earthquake raises his arms and yells at his opponent. They collide again a third time and Earthquake floors Bigelow with a shoulderblock.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a decent match, Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin R. Schyster defeated Earthquake and Typhoon in 10:27 when Typhoon was disqualified when The Undertaker ran in and attacked Bam Bam Bigelow. Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin R. Schyster make defence number 1 of their WWF World Tag Team Championship titles.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Comments:The Natural Disasters' chemistry was evident in this one with Bam Bam and I.R.S only gaining the upperhand using dirty tactics. After I.R.S. nailed Typhoon with his briefcase behind the referee's back the lights in the arena would go out, the bells would toll, and The Undertaker would appear in the ring where he'd begin his assault on Bam Bam and Schyster!</em></p><p> </p><p>

The Undertakers eyes roll back and he gives the throat slash gesture as he prepares to deliver a Tombstone Piledriver to I.R.S. but Vokloff, Bundy, and Luger run to the ring. As they surround The Undertaker the lights go out again. When they come back up, the dead man is gone!</p><p> </p><p>

“I can’t believe what I just saw! Fans we’re out of time! We’ll see you next week!” shouts Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>I always keep my RAWs pretty concise, I think. The closer I get to the big shows the more depth I add to them. Right after a big PPV I kind of enter into a transition period where I try to blend old storlines into new, and with three months before Survivor Series there's a lot to plan out so things will probably develop slowly in September.</p><p> </p><p>

Love, the username, btw. Bam Bam was one of my all-time favorites.</p>
