Can fighters really fight suspensions?

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong part of the forum.

I just wanted to share some general thoughts so i posted it in "General discussions".

I remember reading in the WMMA5 Developer's Journal that fighters should be able to fight suspensions.

"Fighters with some degree of financial security now have the ability to hire lawyers and fight suspensions in the courts, giving them the chance of having the ban overturned or severely reduced."

Does this actually ever happen?

I have plaeyed trough several years in game and no one has ever fought a suspension.

You would think someone like Ronda Rousey should have enough money to fight a suspension right?

Maybe i'm doing something wrong or it was never actually implemented in the game but it just feels weird.

It would also be great if you could have the option to just take out drug failures just like you can take out injuries in the game for people that just likes to book matches etc.

I get that it's more realistic but

it's really annoying when you have built up a dream match years in the making and then one of the fighters fails a drug-test. Especially when he has "Would never be a PED user" etc marked in his attributes.

Love the game and spend a great deal of time playing it!

Cheers

Yes! I've attached an image of the one time it's ever happen in one of my games. Pretty cool, but it's very rare for some reason.<p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_11/1663408732_PyleDrugTest.JPG.ddaf0128d5209f7411ab7bade716a693.JPG" data-fileid="3459" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3459" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="1663408732_PyleDrugTest.JPG.ddaf0128d5209f7411ab7bade716a693.JPG" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_11/1663408732_PyleDrugTest.JPG.ddaf0128d5209f7411ab7bade716a693.JPG" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>
