John Comey
Hi, I'm playing out a game, PSU vs Minnesota. I'm watching the game, and I notice something odd. I'd explain it, but it's easier to pull it from the game log: Minnesota ball, Q2, 1-10-MINN20 (01:01) 10-24 Offense: Short Pass, Set: Weak, Play: WK-SE-slant-FL-in Defense: Stop Pass, Set: Dime, Play: Dime-pass-Man QB D. Spanno completes a 8 yard screen to WR S. Parmalee (SS W. Lucier, CB H. Hunter). Penn State Timeout! Minnesota ball, Q2, 2-2-MINN28 (01:03) 10-24 Offense: Short Pass, Set: SingleBack, Play: SB-SE-playact-curl Defense: Stop Pass, Set: 4-3, Play: 43-pass-TMan QB D. Spanno throws an incomplete pass to WR B. Hanner. Somehow, two seconds were added onto the clock. Is that due to the timeout, or is there a bug here? Arlie Rahn
It's probably because of the timeout. Time should never be added, but I'm guessing too much time ran off before it was called and the game adjusted. It's a little quirky, but the timeout is the reason. John Comey
Giddyup. That's what I thought, too, but I wanted confirmation. Sorry for the wrong forum, by the way. Thought I was in the right one. Whoops.
