NJPW - The Beginning of Wrestle Kingdom

(Sorry if you read some grammar errors and stuff, Im Portuguese, but i will try my best!)

4th January 2007 - where happened the first ever Wrestle Kingdom show, a show loved by almost every true wrestling fan, the "Wrestlemania" of NJPW, and the "Wrestlemania" with actual good matches.

August 2006 - Shane McMahon is tired of his father decisions over the family company (WWE) and after a huge discussion between them, Shane decides to leave WWE and with his money and help from other rich people, he goes after a TRUE Wrestling company to takeover his father: he finds that company on NJPW, and bought it, with 10,000,000 dollars on his pocket, we will see what he can do. He arrives at a good time: The next show of NJPW will be G1 Climax, the "Royal Rumble" of NJPW, and he announces that the winner of G1 Climax will face the IWGP Heavyweight Champion at the Tokyo Dome 4th January Show - the debuting Wreste Kingdom.

G1 Climax 2006

After buying NJPW, Shane McMahon had 10,000,000 on his bank account, and with that, he decided to buy a Development Territory, called NJPW Lions Gate, the owner was Genichiro Tenryu and head booker was Masanobu Fuchi, with that, he started to sign some talents and made other from the main roster to work in the development, this is the roster:

I created two titles and one tournament for this company, also, NJPW Lions Gate will feature a weekly PPV, so that can make the talents to work more and evolve more. The titles i created for this company are the NEVER Openweight and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man, i know that this titles are from the main roster of NJPW, and I am going to make this titles come to the main roster, but i pretend to create a storie behind that move, like a invasion or something like that, would be interesting.

Shane McMahon comes to the ring and thanks all the people who came to watch the tournament, he says that, unfortunately, due to the fact that he started really late as Owner of the company, he couldn't prepare a "Round-Robin" tournament, the G1 Climax this year will be a Knockout Tournament with 8 man: Shinsuke Nakamura, Giant Bernard, Minoru Tanaka, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Katsuyori Shibata, Masahiro Chrono and Tomohiro Isshi, he also stated that Brock Lesnar will defend his title against Yuji Nagata and we will have new IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions.

After a good match, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Giant Bernard in 11:02 minutes, advancing the tournament and eliminating Giant Bernard.

After a 15:43 match, Hiroshi Tanahashi wins the match and advances the tournament

<div style="text-align:center;">Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs Katsuyori Shibata - 68</div>

Decent match, ended in 19:32 minutes, after the young Katsuyori Shibata proved himself with his fighting spirit, even if it wasnt enough to beat Tenzan. Tenzan advances the tournament.

Another decent match, with Chrono winning in 13:57 minutes, Isshi also proved to be a future threat and top guy.

After a not that good match, Gedo and Jado wins the vacant IWGP Junior Tag Team Championship in 18:20 minutes.

In a good match, Shinsuke Nakamura surprises everyone and beats Chrono in 17:37 minutes, advancing to the finals.

Hiroshi Tanahashi causes another upset as he beat Tenzan in 18:23, but he had his leg damaged enough to need help to return to the backstage, can he fight in the finals?

A not so good match involving the IWGP Heavyweight title, Brock Lesnar defeats Nagata in 29:03 minutes, and continues his Terror reign, will someone stop him?

<div style="text-align:center;">G1 Climax Final: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Hiroshi Tanahashi - 91</div>

Hiroshi Tanahashi defeats Nakamura in a classic match, in 31:13 minutes, even with his minor injury, he gains his spot at the Main Event of Wrestle Kingdom 1.

Destruction 2006, King Of Pro Wrestling 2006, Power Struggle 2006

After the G1 Climax, it was announced that Minoru Suzuki would return to the company, and on the Hiroshi Tanahashi interview post match, Suzuki attacks the winner out of nowhere and says that he deserves to be in the Wrestle Kingdom Main Event, even if he didnt compete in the G1 Climax, challenging Tanahashi for a match at Destruction for that spot.

On the pre show, Black Tiger ( Rocky Romero ) appears with the mask in his hands, saying that he doesnt give a **** about being Black Tiger, and he his a champion that deserves to show his face, and people who use masks are pussys, Jushin Thunder Liger appears and says that some masks have more prestige and honor that some people faces, and challenges Rocky Romero for a title shot at the event.

After a 16 minutes match, Yuji Nagata pins Taguchi to obtain the victory.

Low Ki and Daniels have a rematch from the G1 Climax, but the result is the same and they lose to Gedo and Jado who made their first succesful defence in 18 minutes.

<div style="text-align:center;">IWGP Tag Team: Tenzan and Chrono d. Togi Makabe and Yano - 65</div>

Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Chrono defeat The Most Violent Players in a 14 minute match, retaining the titles, after the match they say that they are still pissed about losing at the G1 Climax and will get their revenge.

Bubba and Devon debut in NJPW couldnt be been as they defeat Tanaka and Ishii in 8 minutes.

After 11 minutes, Liger defeats the champion Rocky Romero, proving to be one of the best Juniors ever.

<div style="text-align:center;">Spot at the Main Event of Wrestle Kingdom I: Hiroshi Tanahashi d. Minoru Suzuki - 83</div>

In a really good match, Hiroshi Tanahashi survives the brutality of Suzuki in a chaotic match of 24 minutes. During the match, we had Tenzan and Chrono trying to attack Tanahashi but Shinsuke Nakamura appeared and protected Hiroshi, Tenzan and Chrono couldnt do anything and returned to backstage.

In a 32 minute match, Brock Lesnar defeated Nakamura with help from Tenzan and Chrono, after the match, the three started to attack Nakamura, but Tanahashi appeared even without the doctors permittion and made the save, but Brock Lesnar used a F5 on the Japonese Top star, sending a message.

The Super Jr. Tag Tournament will take place in November, the winner will face the IWGP jr. Tag Team Champions at the Tokyo Dome, Ryusuke Taguchi has been trying to find a good partner to help him to enter and win the tournament: he finds Katsuyori Shibata, a Fighting Machine, and for an entire month, he is always bugging the MMA Specialist to join him, Katsuyori accepts but makes one condition: If Taguchi defeats him in a singles match, Shibata joins him.

After the chaotic ending of Destruction 2006, Shane McMahon says that Brock Lesnar will defend his title at King Of Pro Wrestling 2006 in a Triple Threat match, against Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Chrono.

After a 14 minute battle royal, Christopher Daniels wins by eliminating Rocky Romero.

<div style="text-align:center;">Katsuyori Shibata d. Ryusuke Taguchi - 69</div>

After a decent 12 minute match, Shibata defeats Taguchi, and even Taguchi knowing that he wasnt as good as Shibata, he proved that he is a true fighter, after the match Shibata says that Taguchi as earned his respect and will fight at Power Struggle 2006 with him and they both will win the tournament, leaving Taguchi very happy.

After a 14 minute match, the team of gayjins wins the match.

After a good 19 minute match, Jushin Liger defends his title.

After a good 17 minute match, Tanahashi and Nakamura defeat Suzuki and Nagata, after the match, Suzuki attacks Nagata, leaving the veteran inconscious in the ring.

After a good 27 minute match, Brock Lesnar defeats Chrono and Tenzan, pinning both man to keep his title.

After Power Struggle 2006, Brock Lesnar announced that he is the biggest IWGP Heavyweight Champion ever and he defends it when he wants, and so, we will not appear at the Power Struggle.

After the events of King Of Pro Wrestling, Nagata challenged Suzuki, who accepted the match, after a good 18 minute match, Suzuki defeats the veteran with the help of Giant Bernard, who Suzuki announces that will be his partner at World Tag League 2006.

After a good 16 minute match, Jushin Liger defends his title once again, and states that he will answear a Open Challenge match for the Jr. Heavyweight Belt at Wrestle Kingdom I.

In a 14 minute match, Gedo and Jado defeats Low Ki and Daniels to advance to the finals.

After 12 minutes of Shibata owning the match pratically alone, he defeats KUSHIDA and Tiger Mask, with "some help" from Taguchi.

After a good match of 17 minutes, Tenzan and Chrono continue their domination over the Tag Team division, at the end of the match, they say that they will participate at the World Tag League and will win the tournament.

After 23 minutes, Shibata and Ryusuke Taguchi defeats the champions to win the tournament, during the match Taguchi was knocked out and Shibata had to fight alone to win. Shibata and Taguchi wins a spot for the Jr. Tag Team belts at Wrestle Kingdom.

After the annoucement of Brock Lesnar not defending the belt at Power Struggle, HIroshi Tanahashi comes to the ring and says that he is always ready to fight and he puts the Spot at the main event of WK on the line, against who wants to face him: the man who appears his Nakamura, and after a 24 minute match, Tanahashi defeats his rival.

Shane McMahon also announced that the World Tag League this year will be a knockout tournament, and promised that, on 2007, G1 Climax and World Tag League will be a round roubin tournament again, but this year, the fighting teams will be: Team 3D, Minoru Suzuki and Giant Bernard, Chrono and Tenzan, and Yuji Nagata and Tomohiro Ishii

After a decent match, Gedo defeats Taguchi in 7 minutes.

After a really good match of 16 minutes, Suzuki and Bernard wins against the champions and goes to the finals. Chrono and Tenzan are shocked and wasnt expecting to lose.

After a good match, Bubba and Devon wins without dificults after 9 minutes.

After a 5 minute match, Shibata wins against Jado, Gedo tried to attack Shibata during the match but Taguchi arrived in time, after the match, Gedo and Jado says that without Shibata, Taguchi is just a loser, and they leave laughing, saying that the match at Wrestle Kingdom will be easy.

After a dramatic 26 minute match, Team 3D defeats Suzuki and Giant Bernard, winning their spot at Wrestle Kingdom for the IWGP Tag Team belts, but after the match, Suzuki says that he and Bernard also deserve a match at Wrestle Kingdom, because they defeated the champions, setting up a Triple Threat Tag Team Match at WK.

<div style="text-align:center;">Special Tag Team Match: Brock Lesnar and ??? d. Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi - 88</div>

Shane McMahon announces that Brock Lesnar will face Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi in a Tag Team Match, and, if the doesnt fight, he will be stripped of the IWGP Heavyweight belt, and Tanahashi and Nakamura will fight for the belt at the Main Event Of Wrestle Kingdom. Brock Lesnar appears and announces his tag partner: Naomichi Marafuji, and after a good 29 minute match, Naomichi pins Nakamura to win the match. After the match Nakamura says he is tired of losing and challenges Naomichi for a match at Wrestle Kingdom for a #1 Contender match for the IWGP Heavyweight belt, Marafuji accepts.
