Wrestle Kingdom is the largest annual moment where New Japan Pro wrestling showcases the spirit onto what Puro-resu is all about. The Largest show in New Japan Pro wrestling and at the Tokyo Dome, the show is going be Epic from the moment it opens on. </div></blockquote><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>  The show starts with a match between the British Invasion, who tags along with the Mexican Luchador named Averno, who has been making some crucial marks in Japan defeating some well known wrestlers such as Yujiro Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito while almost drawing with the legendary Tiger Mask IV and Wataru Inoue themselves. The British Invasion is the tag team who are taking things to a new level with their charismatic passion to end their opponents with tactics that are quite unthinkable. Nobuo Yoshihashi is a developing young lion who is trying to learn his ways into the New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo. On the other hand we have the Bad Intension, as the name implies that aren’t too friendly to wrestle when in the ring. Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson have a unique chemistry when coming into a match as if they are invincible. Yoshihiro Tajiri is an amazing Junior Heavyweight wrestler who takes it to a different level with the amount of MMA influenced move-sets and his deliberate sheer kicking abilities with thunderous forces behind them. Tama Tonga just like Yoshihashi is a member of the New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo, who is seeking the outmost of the situation here in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The match is an amazing bout that will be happening as the tag teams, the junior heavyweights and the young lions battle it out. The open sequence sure would be a great one to watch through, as the wrestlers cut each other out. </div></blockquote></div> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> <img alt="PejWOAX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PejWOAX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <div style="text-align:left;"> <div style="text-align:left;">~The British Invasion/Young Lions (Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams, Nobuo Yoshihashi, Averno) vs. Bad Intensions/Young Lions (Karl Anderson, Giant Bernard, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Tama Tonga)</div></div> We have the British Heavyweight’s own The British Invasion and the Bad Intensions as they team up with the their own young lions of choices to fight onto what it can only be described as a good start with the forces clash to a lock up. Williams wastes no time and quickly takes Tama Tonga to the corner where he does a number of damages onto him before getting in Magnus with both of them hitting the running bulldog sequence and Magnus hitting the running low lariat for a near 2 count. Karl Anderson and Giant Bernard soon turns the game around as Anderson hits the running neck-breaker to which Magnus responds with elbows of his own before the Knife Edge chops connect through. Giant Bernard soon steps in and Magnus is destroyed with the running back elbow. Bernard lift Magnus up and with sheer forces hits Magnus with the power-slam followed by the running elbow drop. Magnus finally gets the tag to Averno, but Bernard refuses to fight him in a form of humiliating Averno, who did not take this lightly and charged towards Bernard before the springboard moves followed in. Yoshihiro Tajiri comes in to set his fight on with Averno, who dodges Tajiri’s first moves. Averno has to take Tajiri seriously here or someone’s going to get hurt really badly. Tajiri comes on with those quick kicks that almost connects Averno, who dodges again and starts to attack Tajiri, who also dodges his attacks. Tajiri finally connects with a kick to the gut before trying to knock Averno down with several other kicks before the running Yakuza Kick almost connected as Averno dodges it and lands on with the Hurricanrana which gave him a near 2 count. Averno once again tries to do his role here but Tajiri super-kicks Averno at that moment before tagging in Tama Tonga, while Averno does the same to Yoshihashi. Both of these young lions starts hitting each other but no avail Tama tries to reach the ropes while Yoshihashi pressurizes through the Boston Crab. Bernard breaks the hold up before Choke-slamming Yoshihashi to the mat. Bernard soon gets the tag in and catches Yoshihashi off guard before hitting another Thunderous Choke-slam thus cutting Yoshihashi off with the Baldo Bomb for the win. Winner: Bad Intensions/Young Lions (Karl Anderson, Giant Bernard, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Tama Tonga) Match Rating: 68 Backstage Comments: Karl Anderson talks about how bad it can be to wrestle such douche bags such as the British Invasion and their little prick named Averno. Bernard says that he is going to end the life out of him. Tajiri says that Averno messed with the wrong guy and won’t take him lightly the next time they meet each other. </div></blockquote></div> <div style="text-align:left;"><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> The match up ahead is where the members of both Chained and No Limit tags along to fight of the grand faction – Team 2000. Chained is mostly formed as a tag team with Iizuka training his young lion pupil to a certain degree that he picked up a persona for himself before making the tag team possible. Iizuka and Taichi sure shows great combinations of chemistry with mostly Taichi getting the great outcomes each time. No Limit, a really great tag team consisting of members such as Yujiro Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito, with each of them consisting of a really great persona alongside the unusual chemistry between them. Naito and Takahashi has won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight tag team before and has since focused on defending it, but soon the team of Apollo 55 came in and swept the team of their gold. Since then No Limit has been trying to prove themselves in order to gain back the opportunity to challenge for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight titles once again. Team 2000 is an amazing faction that consists of wrestlers that are worth the mainevent, while also consisting of the various amounts of wrestlers, such as the junior division and the junior tag team divisions. AKIRA is the one to have a great exposure through the group and has since made some notable wins against the greats and the international wrestlers overseas. Black Tiger IV is standing his ground for now with the rivalry he has with Tiger Mask IV. The rivalry between Tiger Mask IV vs. Black Tiger IV is an interesting things to watch, but since losing the match last year, Black Tiger IV is on with the anger that has built inside to train harder the next time they meet each other. Tiger Mask IV in a backstage comment said that the match between him and Black Tiger IV will be sooner than expected, which got the fans excited. Black Tiger IV and Tiger IV’s rivalry started on with the one proving the legacy of a tiger to the greatest and might even end with one of them tearing and ripping each other out. The World Class Tag Team, Gedo & Jado, as the name implies they really are one hell of a tag team of this and the former generation having fighting all over the world before completely setting themselves off in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Gedo and Jado have won various amounts of junior heavyweight tag team titles from all over the world and also winning the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles have made themselves the solid tag team they are today. The bout will be another great clash between the wrestlers who are hungry to prove themselves on with the ones who have accomplished it all before either one cuts each other off.  </div></blockquote></div> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> <div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="uawUlcz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uawUlcz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div> <div style="text-align:left;"> ~No Limit/Chained (Tetsuya Naito, Yujiro Takahashi, Taichi, Takashi Iizuka) vs. Team 2000 (AKIRA, Black Tiger IV, Gedo Jado) No Limit and Chained are discussing their tactics out while Team 2000 as a whole just seems so damn confident, not to mention that Black Tiger IV looks intimidating here. Taichi and Jado start it out first with each lock up before the wrist lock from Taichi locks onto which Jado counters and slaps the hell of the Taichi, who then hits the running shoulder block before tagging out to Takahashi. Jado and Takahashi stares onto the period when Takahashi lands severe looking elbows before Jado quickly tackles Takahashi to the ground before locking in a good looking headlock. Takahashi soon reaches the ropes but Jado soon enough lands a dropkick that had Takahashi shift gears and reply with a running elbow shot. Naito and AKIRA got tagged in and soon Naito didn’t even let AKIRA do any damage to the point where Naito sets for a corner dropkick that got countered by AKIRA following several slaps from him. Naito tries to the Enzuigiri, but AKIRA dodges it before the discuss elbow connects. AKIRA tries for a Powerbomb, but Naito lands shots to his head before slipping out of it following the Enzuigiri thus giving Naito a breather. AKIRA tags out to Black Tiger IV here and soon enough Tiger turns the match around with his sneaky tactics which caught Naito off guard several times to which Tiger lands in several chops before the Suplexes connects. Naito hot tags in Taichi and the match starts to get to the point where Taichi has the upperhand with countering and dodging every moves Black Tiger IV has to throw against him. He didn’t flinch here and slowly turned the match the other way round with Taichi hitting the face-buster on Tiger. Tiger finally made a good comeback with armdrags before the quick dropkick connects that sends Taichi to the corner before landing another dropkick to the corner. Tiger tries for a Superplex but Taichi counters it and lands a thunderous Powerbomb from the top rope giving him a 2.9 count! Tiger and Taichi crawls to their respective corners before each them tagging out to Tetsuya Naito and Gedo. Naito and Gedo gets the grappling system on before Naito lands in the big moves following to take Gedo to the ground thus beating the man to his own game. Gedo and Naito once again grapples each other before Gedo taking Naito to the ground showing who the real deal here is, but Naito got his way around before leaping Gedo up for a major looking Enzuigiri to the side of the head. Naito soon rocked Gedo with it before Gedo had other tactics in hands as Gedo hits the corner splash to which he tries for the Gedo’s Clutch, but Naito slips out of it before the Snapmare had Gedo down only to Naito to hits the Plancha Blancha. Naito hits the low dropkicks before the running knee strikes almost knocked Gedo out. Naito slips onto the top rope while the others brawl within the ringside for Naito to try hitting Gedo with the Top Rope Maneuver, but Gedo dodges out of it thus making Naito land face first onto the mat, missing the move gave Gedo the advantage here thus hitting the complete shot onto Naito before climbing the top rope to cut Natio off with the Frog Splash for the win. Winner: Team 2000 (AKIRA, Black Tiger IV, Gedo Jado) Match Rating: 70 Backstage Comments: AKIRA talks about the problem he has with this Chained and No Limit, first of all they seem to have no game plan tonight thus losing in the first place. Gedo joins in talk trash about how Naito is one weird guy who thinks to beat the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time and just because of his cockiness it comes to the where his team lost here tonight. Black Tiger IV says that he does not care if he wins here tonight or not, but he sure knows what he is targeting for since he has some unfinished business with Tiger Mask IV and the rage inside is boiling to the core where it is unbearable to hold it in. </div> </div></blockquote><div style="text-align:left;"> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> Although the rivalry between Tiger Mask IV and Black Tiger IV is being started with a spark between a calling from Black Tiger IV, Tiger Mask IV on the other hand knows that he has already defeated Black Tiger IV from their last match, but that’s the only match they ever had, which leads to Black Tiger IV to confront everyone about how he wants to prove his worth on and on. Tiger Mask IV along with Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma, the once supreme leaders of the tag team division as well as Togi Makabe being a former IWGP Heavyweight champion makes up the complete Great Bash Heel faction. On the other hand we have Seki-Gun, the main leading faction that is the superior to every faction when speaking about something heroic in meaning. Wataru Inoue, along with legends like Riki Chosu and the former IWGP Heavyweight champion Manabu Nakanishi. Every member of Seki-Gun has something going on to say the least. Inoue and Tiger Mask IV seems to be the case for now in this match as Inoue initially challenged Tiger Mask IV to a match along with the heavyweight tagging in to varnish their support onto the juniors before the clash could take place. Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma initially challenged Nakanishi and Chosu to showcase themselves as the ones to lead the Tag Team Division before they could even make it happen thus wanting to prove themselves to each and every one of them all. All is set as the juniors and the Tag Mates tag along to see who actually, is the one to make the best out of this situation.  </div></blockquote></div><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> <div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="TxJfHwK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TxJfHwK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div> <div style="text-align:left;"> ~Great Bash Heel (Tiger Mask IV, Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma) vs. Seki-Gun (Wataru Inoue, Manabu Nakanishi, Riki Choshu) Tiger Mask IV and Inoue stares each other down with the invisible forces behind them with each trying to prove their worth, while Tiger Mask IV may be heavily known to make the best out of the situation since the defeat of Black Tiger IV, he considers himself the one who can take and make the best out of anything. The thunderous lock-in connects before the breaks come soon after at the ropes to which Inoue wastes no time to slap the hell out of Tiger Mask, shouting to take him seriously or hell will be unleashed. Inoue continues to slap Tiger, who in turns does the same before it starts from a slapfest to a strikefest following thereafter to an elbow shooting contest. The running shoulder tackle had Tiger down, who soon dodges out of Inoue’s headlock before making the tag to Togi Makabe. Inoue, not caring about Makabe, tags out to Nakanishi. The heavyweights clash within each other to the point where the chopfest started to the point where the chopfest ended at the corner before Makabe snapping and locking in a tight headlock only for Nakanishi to quickly counter out of it. Nakanishi slams Makabe onto the mat, but Makabe soon recovers before slamming Nakanishi to the mat. Both of them exchange elbows and Makabe hits him with a good looking suplex for a measure before locking in slight submission holds working his way through Nakanishi, who finally gets in some light up ahead and quickly changes the turns before the powerslam connects. Makabe, caught off guard had Nakanishi hitting him with several shoulder blocks before connecting with another Snapmare thus locking in an Armbar. Through desperate kicks and locking twisted holds, Makabe fought his way out through it before grabbing to rope much to everyone’s surprise. Makabe makes the quick hot tag to Honma, who rushes in and clears to house much to everyone’s delight thus proving that he is in charge now. Choshu gets the tag in before locking in up with Honma, who creates a division between them while making the great combo attacks, thus landing in superior suplexes following a good looking side suplex for a 2 count. Choshu fires up and takes Honma to the corner before starting the chopping session following to set up for a Superplex but couldn’t finish the setting as Honma quickly breaks out of it and lands in a crazy elbow thus following to land on with a STO from the top rope that seemed to almost kill Choshu! Honma makes the best out of the situation thus setting up for a lariat which Choshu dodges out of and lands in a Lariat of his own. Choshu lift Honma and hits him with a Backdrop for a 2 count. Honma quickly whips Choshu to the corner and lands in the corner splash, but trying for another one gave Choshu enough time for him to dodge out of it too before connecting with another Backdrop. The juniors got tagged in again as they starts on with some hellish speed fighting almost too much an action at a time thus creating a super amazement for everyone. Inoue lands in some good looking kicks before landing in a good amount of side-kicks that Tiger Mask IV out of his league. The Super Kick connected and almost rocked Tiger Mask IV, who in turn tags out to Honma again, but Inoue took the tag as disrespect and soon taunts Tiger Mask IV to tag back in. Honma quickly starts hitting Inoue, who being pissed beats the hell out of Honma with superior looking athleticism before the Triangle Lancer gets looked in to which Honma desperately reaches to the ropes but Inoue drags him back in and locks the move again. Honma once again desperately trying reaches the ropes this time and Inoue had to break the hold. Inoue sets for the Spear of Justice, but Honma dodges it before hitting the elbow to the jaw of Inoue, who taking the pain and absorbing it fully hits Honma with the Staggering blow before whipping Honma to the ropes and hitting the Spear of Justice at full point. Inoue lifts Honma up and hits him with another Staggering blow before cutting him off with the Oracion Flame for the win. Winner: Seki-Gun (Wataru Inoue, Manabu Nakanishi, Riki Choshu) Match Rating: 79 Post match Inoue calls Tiger out and says that he does not deserve to stand inside the ring with him and nor does he have any issues now that he has beaten his team here tonight. Inoue says that he will show how it’s done properly when they fight each other in a one of one match and soon enough, soon enough he will simply destroy the once and glorious history of Tiger Mask IV himself. Tiger Mask IV gets inside the ring and reminds how once a foolish like him had his dues paid and he is reminding Inoue that Black Tiger IV has had his beating once and soon enough he understands that its Inoue’s time to show off, but once again Tiger Mask IV says that he will prove his worth and know how to do it unlike Inoue. Inoue furious by the comments made by Tiger Mask IV says that he can do all the talking here but sure enough he knows deep inside the way to beat Tiger Mask IV and sure enough, this will be a battle for glory. Backstage Comments: Nakanishi and Choshu says that they have proven that they are the ones to lead the tag team division from now on, and what other way to set their goals for the IWGP Tag Team Titles and more importantly being the best at it. Wataru Inoue says that Tiger Mask IV will have ego crucially killed by Inoue himself and something that he is going to do at that match. Inoue says that Tiger Mask IV should focus on Inoue since unlike Black Tiger IV he isn’t the one to lose here as the confidence suggests. </div> </div></blockquote><div style="text-align:left;"> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46567" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> The next match onto the list is the match that has several members of each great factions collides, such as the Great Bash Heel and the faction RISE, which is simply a war winning faction that is formed by Shinsuke Nakamura himself thus giving the faction more importance and prestige as the time moves on. From Great Bash Heel we have Hirooki Goto, who is the one to stand close to the tactics ground while using his superior power techniques to enhance the match in his own way. Kota Ibushi, the junior heavyweight who always takes the match with great seriousness thus always constantly thinking of making everyone know that he is the one to ace the junior division someday. Ibushi and KUSHIDA are the ones that are ahead in game and surely give the Junior division in the current time a great deal of support and the thing it needs what it is supposed to be. Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Koji Kanemoto makes an Interesting tag team with a combination of Junior Heavyweight and Heavyweight themselves, making everyone surprisingly happy to see such unique movesets by them. On the other hand RISE is consistently the one to say that is has the sense to growing itself into order and to kill the system thus repeating the process seems to be the case here. Kazuchika Okada, a hungry wrestler seeking his way to the point where he can form himself into some new and joining the faction in the first place. Okada’s current handler Masato Tanaka is the one to introduce Okada to the faction first of all and since then had Okada’s back from day one into his debut. Tanaka has shaped Okada and is currently doing so until he reaches the level he is supposed to be at. Tanaka on the other hand is a superior athlete with splendid strike system that has a diamond core inside it with finish matches with the all known elbow shootout finish. Tanaka and Machine has a great combination as they formerly had each other’s back while in a tag team. Each of them had battled several other tag team reached a certain level when they were known as the certain tag team to look up to, but sadly never winning the tag titles. Tanaka says that he believes that it’s Okada who can lead him to that point. Ibushi and Yano gets into the ring and soon enough Ibushi connects with several shots of kicks before Yano whips Ibushi into the corner while trying to at least do something before trying to do another roll-up, but Ibushi strikes really damn hard towards the head of Yano before slamming into the turnbuckle before connecting with backelbows following up with a snapmare to which he connects with the side-armlock to which Yano again reaches the ropes. Yano tries desperately to reach his corner for a tag but Ibushi holds him again to works on the arm following with several shots to it. Yano finally makes the hot tag to Okada, who springs into the ring and clears the house and hits the picture perfect Dropkick to everyone’s amazement. Okada and Ibushi trade some chain holds before Okada gets the upperhand following to elbow Ibushi until it gives him the chance to suplex Ibushi and hit the low dropkick for a near fall. Okada tries to lift Ibushi up, but Ibushi soon grapples Okada out of it before hitting a dropkick of his own. Ibushi teases for the powerbomb, but Okada reverses it with the Hurricanrana before connecting with a sidekick to which Ibushi does not go down as he powers out from it before hitting the stiff elbow to Okada and following on to lock in an armbar, which Okada counters out of, but Ibushi connects it out with a Enzuigiri thus giving Ibushi enough time to tag himself out to Koji Kanemoto. Kanemoto hits Okada with the running uppercut before taking the arm into his factor thus locking it in tight to almost make Okada tap out of it, but soon Okada reaches the ropes follows to counter it with the sideslam. Okada reaches the top rope for the elbow drop, but Kanemoto dodges it thus making Okada fall hard onto the mat before Kanemoto to hit Okada with the Tiger Suplex Hold and following it with the second rope Senton. Kanemoto tags in Kushida with whom he hits Okada with the double combo neckbreaker drop before Kushida hitting Okada with the Springboard moves, but Okada lastly hits Kushida with the Dropkick thus countering Kushida’s Springboard move in a cool sight. Okada quickly reaches his corner before tagging to his partner Tanaka as they hit the backdrop combo together with Tanaka elbowing the hell out of Kushida before the connecting with Several Uppercut shots and then hitting him with the striking Lariat almost knocking Kushida out. Tanaka keeps short tags between him and Okada to which it seems like a smart strategy and sure it worked out properly giving RISE the advantage that they needed dearly. Tanaka applies several submission holds and Kushida can’t even think of any ways out of it, but soon enough Kushida counters out of Tanaka’s Leglock before tagging in Goto to fill in the damages. Goto and Tanaka clash with each trying to devour each other through constant shots of elbows and now Goto hits Tanaka with the running Lariat quickly taking the match to his side before trying to do his finish, but Tanaka counters out of it before the striking elbow connects and Tanaka tags out to Super Strong Machine. Machine seems to have a lot of advantage here, but Goto does not lose hope yet as he constantly pushes his way through Machine, who in turns changes the gameplan with the hard shots and slams before the heavy Sentons connect following everything up with the Suplexes before trying for the Devil’s Suplex, but Goto counters out of it before tagging himself out to Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Tenzan and Machine strikes each other with chops before Machine chops the hell out of Tenzan toward the corner before whipping Tenzan to the ropes, but it turns ducks the Lariat from Machine and hits the Mongolian Chop before the Suplex connects giving Tenzan a breather. Out comes Tomohiro Ishii and the hard hitting bout sure takes a different turn with each other taking turns to kill each other as if they are on with a gun towards their head. Ishii hits Tenzan with several Headbutts to his Shoulder almost damaging it and hits Tenzan with the Slams making him fall to his shoulder first. Ishii connects with the low lariat pointed to Tenzan’s shoulder and soon enough connects with the Ishii driller. It is as if Tenzan never had a chance against Ishii to begin with and thus Ishii tries for the Vertical Suplex, but Tenzan slips out and hits Ishii with several Mongolian Chops before Tagging out to Kushida, but Ishii takes this chance to show Kushida the highway to hell before cutting him off with the Vertical Brainbuster for the win. The Motor City Machine Guns are known for their superior chemistry within each other and the superior move-sets that they posses. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin stepped up their game here in New Japan Pro Wreslting, making their way to the point where they challenged Apollo 55 for their titles, Apollo 55 was hesitant at first about giving them the shot, but The Motor City Machine Guns attacks Apollo 55 several times before making it known they are coming for the titles no matter what. Prince Devitt and Ryusuke finally got pissed at The Motor City Machine Guns before finally giving them the title shot before also claiming that they would surely end The Motor City Machine Guns, once and for all. Devitt and Sabin, once again applies the lock and this time locking in a good headlock before snapping Sabin to the mat and connecting with the low front dropkick for a near fall. Devitt and Sabin starts elbowing each other before Devitt takes Sabin to the ground where he locks in the headlock before switching into a back positioned headlock, but Sabin counters out of it before hitting the low dropkick that had Devitt fall to the matt before the low dropkick to the head connected followed in a swift motion to tag in Alex Shelley. Shelley quickly cleared the house before jumping back at Devitt with the springboard attacks before the springboard dropkick connects directly towards Devitt. The fast paced action took place and it made its presence known within the match before Devitt finally makes the hit towards Shelley with the European Uppercuts before the Side Suplex connects. Devitt wastes no time in hot tagging towards Ryusuke Taguchi, who rushes to the ring and Forearm smashes Shelley following those Hip Attacks to the corner. As the best of the super juniors progressed Koji Kanemoto gained the trophy and went on to face Mistico at the Dominion. After a fast paced hard hitting action packed match, Kanemoto failed to defeat Mistico. The next challenger named Wataru Inoue appeared and soon again he too failed to defeat Mistico. Mistico says that no one in New Japan can defeat him and nor can anyone ever take the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title off him. This is the point where Jushin Thunder Liger steps in and announces that he is coming for Mistico’s IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title and he also claims that he remembers the day from the Best of The Super Juniors where Mistico is defeated by Jushin Thunder Liger and follows onto stand face to face with Mistico. During the tour to WrestleKingdom, Mistico and Jushin Thunder Liger had quite wonderful staredown in those tag matches before Jushin Thunder Liger and Mistico making everyone know that this match isn’t only about the Title it’s about the pride of the both. Misitco is representing the whole Mexico and the spirits of Luchadors watching his path, while Jushin Thunder Liger has the support of his dear fans while also being one of the best and decorated IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, in a decade. Mistico finds this opportunity to establish the statement he needs to defeat Jushin Thunder Liger no matter what to prove that he is the one to become the greatest IWGP Jr. Heavyweight champion and will me making sure that it is the chase. Mistico claims that he has wins over the legends and former best of the super juniors and says that this match is really important to him. Liger quickly dodges out and hits quick some elbows to the head of Mistico before trying for the whip, which Mistico countering, hits Liger with the high paced kicks and transitioning himself to the top rope and trying for springboard DDT, but soon Liger counters it through kicking the rope that had Mistico lose his grip and balance before falling to the rope and Liger runs bouncing himself off the rope and front dropkicking Mistico out of the ring. Liger climbs up the top rope and plunges himself off before landing himself off to Mistico thus giving us a thriller moment. Mistico and Liger clutches onto each other before Mistico launches Liger into the guard rails again and again before Liger counters and whips Misitco over the guard rail before lauching himself over the rails with the Diving Cross Body before showboating to the crowd. Finally both being back at the ring exchanges heavy fast paced punches before Mistico connects with the springboard hurricanarana before Liger quickly dashes forward charges on with those palm strikes and the suplex connects, but Liger wouldn’t let go and hits him with another one before setting up for the low dropkick which Misitco ducks and almost rolls up Liger for the pin, but Liger quickly sensing this does the turn and hits Mistico with the Senton giving him a moment there. Liger lifts Mistico and tries to rip his mask off, but Misitco takes the insult before the over the top spinning kick connects towards Liger and almost seems to knock him out. Misitco charges and dashes on with the float over DDT before diving the top rope to hit the Diving Moonsault. Mistico quickly tries for the pin, but Liger kick out around 2. Mistico and Liger exchange quick grapples and Mistico armwrenches Liger before twirling it around and connecting with a sidesuplex and tries for some good looking submission maneuvers and working his way through the leg of Mistico, Liger seems to be doing the perfect stuff that he seems to be confident about. Once again Mistico reaches the ropes and breaks up those submission before striking Liger down and hitting him with the running Moonsault for a 2. Liger and Mistico once again exchange whips before Liger connects with the running Shotei and following with the back elbow towards the corner, the Monkey Flip follows after and Liger tries for the Brainbuster, but Mistico counters out of it before the Hurricana follows before the sequence of dodging moves takes place where everyone was damn trying to jump out. Finally the sequence ended with Mistico hitting the Plancha Tornado before hitting the La Mistica and cutting Liger Off with the Swanton Bomb for the win. Team 3D were formerly from TNA and has since been only working for New Japan Pro Wrestling, but have heavily impacted the New Japan Pro Wrestling fan base here with the unique combination of tag team style and their own style of playing the game here. Team 2000’s very own Yuji Nagata and Masahiro Chono are New Japan Pro Wrestling’s grandest wrestlers since the very best of New Japan Pro Wrestling with both being former IWGP Heavyweight Champions. Masahiro Chono and Yuji Nagata are on the edgier side. Nagata and Chono challenged Team 3D, the night became the champions and directly said that want those titles no matter what. Team 3D wanting to see more challenges come forward decided to accept it. Team 2000 was pleased, but were attacked by Team 3D from behind as Team 3D issues the statement that no matter who may think that they are going to beat Team 3D, it would simply be a foolish though to being with, unless you are a superhuman, which in Team 3D’s opinion is never going to happen, not possibly now. Team 2000 says that Team 3D seems a bit cockier than they should, they should remember that they are facing New Japan’s very best and being cockier always seems to keep you in disadvantage starting from the very first. Team 2000 and Team 3D seems to clash heavily coming in the tour as each team try to take the life out of each other. Chono connects with the quick kicks to the corner before Devon finally gets his comeback with the punches towards Chono before taking him down with the tackle and locking him with several submissions thoroughly trying to weaken Chono piece by piece. Devon is trying not to rush here and is taking the match seriously from the start, which seems to show a good sign. Chono whips Devon to the corner and finally connects with the running knee to the gut before the chopping session with Devon starts as Chono dodges before the sidekicks connect again and Chono teases the first Big Boot which Devon ducks before the Side Suplex connects, which gives Devon a breather here. Devon tags out to Brother Ray and hits the double team combo before Ray whips Chono towards the ropes and hits the backbreaker before running through the ropes, but Chono counter Ray with the running elbow before making the hot tag to Yuji Nagata, who rushes in and clears the house down. Nagata catches Ray with the Exploder Suplex before lifting Ray for the Suplex and hitting quite hard kicks to the chest of Ray, who finally snaps back and tackles Nagata down before trying to weaken his arm with some light submission holds before shifting gears to his legs and trying to stomp onto them later and thereafter. Nagata quickly hits the corner chops, before Ray could do any more damage Nagata connects with the running knee to the gut at the corner and follows with more suplexes thus tiring his opponent out. The Axe Handle takes Nagata by surprise before the Powerbomb almost knock Nagata out. The hot tag made to Devon connects as he rushes in and hits the Lariat onto Nagata before hitting him with the Double Arm Suplex before locking in more submission and still trying to work onto Nagata following his arms and legs. Nagata once again connects with the Exploder Suplex and locks in the Nagata lock as Devon desperately tries to reach the ropes for the break, but Nagata brings him back into the middle of the ring and once again locks in the Nagata Lock trying to make Devon tap out of it, but Ray makes the break. Chono takes Ray to the outside where he smashes Ray against those guard rails while Nagata lift Devon up for the Spinning Wheel Kick, but Devon dodges it before the German Suplex connects. Devon takes this moment to stomp the hell out of Nagata before lift him up from the Sidesuplex. Devon taunts Nagata to set up for the Saving Grace, but Nagata counters and hits Devon with the Thunder Driver and finally Nagata lifts Devon up before hitting him with The Wrist-Clutch Exploder before making the hot tag to Masahiro Chono. Chono hits Devon with the high kicks before whipping him against the ropes before Devon counters and hits Chono with the Belly To Back Suplex and lock in the Leglock to which Chono reaches the ropes in time and quickly takes Devon on with the ride for the Side head kick and lift him up for the Suplexes. Devon quickly slips out of the last one before tagging in Ray, who clears the house down. Ray and Chono fight to their hearts content before Ray hits Chono with Powerslam and the Senton follows. Chono quickly finds the way to dodges Ray’s moves before hitting him with the Flying Shoulder Block and then with the Backdrop. Ray tries to fight of the Butterfly Lock, but Chono applies more pressure to it before Ray finally reaches the ropes for the breaks. Chono quickly transitioning to the STF, but Ray reverses it before the jumping facebuster connects, Chono quickly rushes forwards before the Backdrop connects. Chono sets up for the Yakuza Kick, but Ray ducks it, but Chono reverses the Lariat and finally the Yakuza kick connecting thus cutting Ray off for the win. Team 2000 wins the IWGP Tag Team Championships. Nakamura’s hard work paid off since then hasn’t lost the title once and defended it against excellent challenger before the G-1 Climax takes. The G-1 Climax consisted of several great wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling and Hiroshi Tanahashi finally needed this boost to have go for the IWGP Heavyweight Title. Hiroshi Tanahashi without any loss defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at the finals and also won the G-1 Climax Trophy and the opportunity to win the challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at the mainevent of Wrestle-Kingdom. Hiroshi Tanahashi says that this match will be the one where he gains the IWGP Heavyweight Title from Nakamura, but this time he promises that he won’t lose the match in the biggest show of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Nakamura claims that the loss over Tanahashi didn’t mean a thing to him and Nakamura says that deep inside everyone knows that Nakamura has surpassed Hiroshi Tanahashi in all sides of wrestling and everything. Nakmaura says that Tanahashi always seem to have a habit of keeping fake promises and this promise tonight will be a fake one too since Nakamura is sure that Tanahashi will be losing here thus making the draw between them which stands at 1-1 will become a second win Nakamura since he is that confident here. Tanahashi on the other hand says that Nakamura can say whatever he wants but can’t deny the fact that he beat Nakamura at the G-1 Climax no matter how and tonight will be no exception. Nakamura this time goes for the leg, but Tanahashi counters before locking in the headlock and snapping Nakamura to the ground before quickly whipping him into the corner and the running elbow smash connects, but Nakamura comes back up before he lands with several elbow shots before slapping Tanahashi with a stiff shot. Nakamura and Tanahashi face chin-to-chin before Nakamura whips Tanahashi runs forward to perform the over the head suplex and the armdrags connect. Tanahashi on the other hand tries to work onto the leg of Nakamura with the Dragon Screw, but Nakamura soon counters it with the Enzuigiri. Nakamura and Tanahashi quickly got into a striking contest before Tanahashi hits another Dragon Screw and lands Nakamura with the Necklock Suplex for the breather here. Nakamura tackles Tanahashi down and tries for the Armbar, but Tanahashi counters and connects with another suplex before the running senton connects. The elbow hit Nakamura again, but Nakamura simply dodges it and hits the running Knee to the gut of Tanahashi before connects with a sideslam and then the running elbow drop. Nakamura simply works on the leg of Tanahashi and simply tries to tear it apart with the amount of submission work done here. Tanahashi simply kicks his way out of Nakamura’s grasp before the DDT connects. Nakamura jumps back up and hits the running Dropkick thus getting the crowd pumped up. Nakamura and Tanahashi exchange heavy striking before before Nakamura hits Tanahashi with the Expolder Suplex before locking in the Armbar to which Tanahashi seems to be almost giving up but desperately and finally reaches the ropes for the break. Nakamura tries to lock in the Armbar again, but Tanahashi counters out of it before hitting the elbows and the neckbreaker connects before Tanahashi locks in the cloverleaf submission hold to which Nakamura quickly and desperately reaches the ropes for the break. The elbows get exchanged again before Nakamura hits Tanahashi with the loud sound chops before whipping him in the corner where Nakamura hits Tanahashi with the running knees to the gut, to which Nakamura sets up for the Superplex, but Tanahashi counter out of it before kicking Nakamura and hitting Nakamura with the Tornado DDT. Nakamura quickly dashes towards Tanahashi, who in turns sends him outside before diving into Nakamura with the crossbody. Tanahashi slams Nakamura onto the guard rails before suplexing Nakamura through it. Back in the ring Tanahashi connects with the Slingblade hand on, but Nakamura hits Tanahashi in the face with the Yazuka Kick. Nakamura connects with the Exploder Suplex, but Tanahashi slips out of it before connecting with the Dragon Screw. Tanahashi tries for the High Fly Flow, but Nakamura quickly kicks in the rope thus setting up for the Superplex as it successfully connected. Nakamura hits The Landslide and another one before cutting Tanahashi off with the Bomaye for the win and thus retaining the IWGP Heavyweight Title. Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura Match Rating: 92 Shinsuke Nakamura takes the microphone and in with all the serious face he says that he has done what can only do here in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Nakamura says that Tanahashi has once again couldn’t keep his promises thus him being the fact that those promises will always be fake. Nakamura says that he is the one that everyone looks upon and that will always be the case since he is the IWGP Heavyweight and the champion forever to come.
