It's May 2001 and it's no secret now that WCW is in serious trouble, with the likelihood that it will cease to exist by the end of the month. With Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation about to be the only legitimate wrestling promotion in the United States, what does this mean for the talent of WCW? More importantly, what does it mean for the WWF? With no competition, where will motivation come from to provide a continuously better product?

Is anything set in stone? Will Vince McMahon purchase WCW, or will someone else step in? The only thing that's for sure about the wrestling industry, is that nothing's for sure...

As Triple H is about to talk, The Undertaker's music hits as he and Kane make their way out onto the stage. After a verbal exchange Triple H agrees to put the Tag Team Championship on the line later tonight, much to the surprise of Austin.

As both competitors are face to face, Vince McMahon comes out and calms things down, sending them to the back with the night off.
