Update for TNA Impact and xplosion later today folks! Impact episodes will continue to have detailed write-ups because it's an A-Show but X-Plosion updates will be considerably smaller and less detailed.

I have had a couple of private messages asking if I plan to do match predictions like many of the other dynasties on this forum. So I thought I'll address that here; I will be doing match predictions soon as a way to let more of you feel involved. However, I will not be starting match predictions until my next PPV event.

Lastly, thank you for those who have checked out my dynasty and an even bigger thank you to those who have also left comments. An individual shout-out to Leohunter, whos TNA dynasty loosely inspired me to give TNA a go with a different direction and also a shout-out to EBEZA who currently has a WCW Lives dynasty going on titled 'Surprise!' which I highly recommend you all check out.

John Bradshaw Layfield: Released!

An inside WWE source has informed us here at Pro Wrestling Illustrated that John Bradshaw Layfield has officially been released from World Wrestling Entertainment. Only a few days after bullying allegations against Layfield were apparent, matters have only escalated after Layfield was reportedly caught on video making racial comments to fans after a WWE house show. As of right now, we have been unable to reach JBL for a comment regarding his release, but I wouldn't be surprised if a hiatus from the wrestling industry were to be in order.

Chris Jericho Returns To The Ring

Chris Jericho has officially finished up his recent tour with his heavy metal band, Fozzy, and has announced his return to wrestling. In an exclusive interview with Chris Jericho, he told us that whilst a return to the WWE isn't off the table, he is interested in working independent bookings. When asked if he would consider taking bookings for Total Nonstop Action, Jericho said 'With the current direction that they're taking, I think I want to stay as far away from that as possible.' So don't expect to see Jericho in the Impact Zone anytime soon, folks.

Jeff Hardy To Total Nonstop Wrestling deal falls through:

Former WWE star, Jeff Hardy, was close to signing a three-year exclusive PPA deal this week but it has been reported that this deal has now fallen through. Eric Bischoff and Dixie Carter were both unable to comment, but a TNA wrestler who has asked to remain anonymous said that after working a dark match prior to Xplosion it was clear that he needs help before stepping back into a wrestling ring, as he was apparently under the influence of numerous heavy drugs. Us here at Pro Wrestling Illustrated hope that Jeff Hardy can get the help that he needs so that he can return to being the brilliant performer that we remember him as.

And with the PWI update done I can confirm the next episode of Impact will be uploaded tonight! :D

Even though I said I will not be doing predictions until the PPV, I will be doing a one-off prediction on the next episode of Impact as Lesnar takes on Rhino in the main event, inside a steel cage! So get your picks in, everyone!

Lesnar, after Rhino Gores him through the side of the cage so Lesnar technically hits the floor first. Basically the Lesnar/Reigns cage finish from last year

It made sense for Vampiro to dominate this match, as he was seeking revenge for the gang-style beatdown delivered by L.A.X just two weeks ago. In the end, Vampiro was the victor in this short match, finishing Hernández off with a Nail in the Coffin five minutes into the bout.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>(40/100)</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46866" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Schiavone:</strong> "So ladies and gentlemen, Vampiro is tonights--"</p><p> </p><p> Schiavone is cut short on commentary as Latin American Xchanges entrance music suddenly hits and out comes Konnan and Homicide onto the ramp.</p><p> <img alt="1hWhkmd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1hWhkmd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="CufvgmD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CufvgmD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Schiavone:</strong> "As I was saying, Vampiro is tonight's victor but things don't look so good for him right now!"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>West:</strong> "Don't they? This results in Vampiro quickly grabbing Hernández around the neck as he shouts for a microphone.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Vampiro:</strong> "If you move any closer... I'll snap his neck. Both of these men clicked beautifully and had really amazing chemistry which made the match much better. None of these men seemed to get an upper hand, that was until Samoa Joe decided to join the announce team for this match. From there, Kazarian seemed to dominate more, as Styles was probably worrying too much about what Samoa Joe is going to do. In the closing moments of the match, Styles hits Kazarian with a phenomenal forearm and goes for the pin. But instead of taking the victory, Styles noticed Samoa Joe getting up on the apron so AJ broke up the pinfall to confront Samoa Joe. this proved to be a bad move as Kazarian capitalised and caught AJ Styles with the surprise cradle, winning by pinfall in just under fifteen minutes which was a decent match between the two X-Divison wrestlers. I didn't ask for much now, did I?"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Borash:</strong> "Well you see he's uh, pretty intimidating?"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Styles:</strong> "Intimidating? Intimidating?! Come on now, are you a man or a boy? Samoa Joe is just a knucklehead who soon enough will get what's coming to him. It makes me mad every day knowing that the X-Division Championship is in the possession of a spawn of the devil. But looky here, I'll become champion again one day. Not just for god but everyone else out there in the Impact Zone. Despite the extremely short match length, both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall both really looked off their game. This may be because of their lack of interest or as a way to play off that the N.W.O is don't need to put in their full efforts. Nash and Hall toyed around with the local talent for a while as they weren't any threat to them. But eventually after just over three minutes, Nash put an end to the match delivering his signature Jackknife Powerbomb onto Aaron Epic. Scott Hall who spent most of this short time on the side clearly looked drunk and wasted, which brings up the question if he should even be involved in such a major storyline if he's in no real condition to perform.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>(48/100)</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46866" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="haMG6DN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/haMG6DN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7OeyYwI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7OeyYwI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> "Do you think we should get security?? The match had decent wrestling but unfortunately, many of the fans were turned off by this match, with even a small portion of fans chanting for Lesnar. But with the recent 'Gail Kim looking to start a womens revolution' storyline going on, it may be safe to assume those fans chanting for Lesnar were plants. In around six minutes and thirty seconds, Gail Kim defeated Sara Del Rey by pinfall with a Kryptonite Krunch to make her first defence of her TNA Knockouts championship.
