The two shows idea worked! I mean, it was only $857, but that’s the first time in I-don’t-know-how-long that we’ve actually MADE money over the course of a month!”</p><p> </p><p> “That’s great, I’m really happy for you!” I really was, Ms Quine had been funding our fairly significant losses from her own pocket, and not only did I want her to succeed, but I didn’t want her to run out of money and AAA have to close. “So, what’s next?”</p><p> </p><p> “Well, I’d like to finish this year having profited over 2016 and 2017 combined. It’s a tall order, but we’re on the right path! As for tonight’s show, we already had the majority of it laid out in advance, so I’ve put it up on the board!”</p><p> </p><p> Wow, she had been busy! Our semi-main event was a continuation from the match two weeks ago in which Houston Handley refused to submit to Mary Beth Chase and ended up feeling her full wrath, and the main event was probably our two best going at it for our top prize! AAA Violentine’s Day 2017 Ms Quine’s post-show speech featured her praising Debbie and Kate for great performances, and giving Ellie a hug as she clearly got a little emotional over the segment with Jim.

I mean, even Meltzer has said they made profit in '98, which backs up Bischoff's claims on his own podcast which, at this point, I don't see why he'd lie any more.

I love this so far! Can't wait to read more! I thought it was fairly common knowledge that WCW was making money in '97 and '98?

AAA Violentine’s Day 2017 All was peaceful as I entered the Washington State Gymnasium backstage area, which was a nice change! No real issues at all in February, result! I took this opportunity to grab Nadia and Suzi for a chat. I explained that I understood Suzi being upset over the injury at Queen Of The Ring, but that it didn’t keep her out of action for even one show, and Nadia and Suzi were our only active girls to have two matches together in our top 10 matches from 2016, so we needed them on the same page. Nadia apologised for hurting Suzi, and Suzi apologised for holding a grudge. I don’t think they’re suddenly going to be BFFs, but at least they’ve buried the hatchet! After that situation was resolved, I headed over to the notice board to see what was happening, as Ms Quine had pretty much put this card together by herself… Joanna Silver I’d heard a rumbling on the internet that someone, somewhere thought Joanna and I could potentially make a fun tag team. I guess it was time to find out! And against the two girls with the surname “Anderson” - if they have good chemistry together, that pretty much writes itself, right?! They wouldn’t be the first wrestlers to pretend to be related…

AAA More Than Meets The Eye 2017 The mood after the show was… strange. This was the first major injury on one of our shows for, well, as long as I could remember. Ms Quine gave Gorgon a hug and packed her off in an ambulance for further examination at the hospital, but I think we all knew what was up – she had a concussion, and a pretty major one, by the looks of it. Ms Quine praised Nadia and Suzi for another great performance, then when Jessica got back with everyone’s drinks, made her announcement: this month, we would be trialling running a second show. She was honest with us, the company was slowly losing money, and she needed to turn that trend around ASAP, so she was going to try running two shows a month, with roughly half of us on each. The theory made sense to me: double (hopefully) the ticket sales, but still roughly the same cost in terms of talent. I was looking forward to this, and it seemed the others felt the same…

AAA More Than Meets The Eye 2017 After a quiet month (no news is good news,right?), I arrived early at the Washington State Gymnasium because Ms Quine and I hadn’t had our usual meet-up to sort out this month’s match card. We went over to the notice board and were just about to start discussing the card when the first of the girls started to enter the building… Steffi Chee and her protégée, Selina Svelte... and her other protégée, Amber Allen?! I shot a look at Ms Quine, who grinned, shrugged and said “oops, did I forget to mention our new signing?” I couldn’t be mad, and this was Amber Allen! “So what do we do with her?” “Let’s stick her in there with Steffi and let them put on a show!” By the time we’d constructed most of the card, and were considering what to do with the tag titles, we heard a lot of grumbling coming from the now-almost-full locker room. When we checked it out, it turned out Jessica Bunny had made a right mess, and everyone was moaning, so Ms Quine told everyone to set up wrestlers’ court while we finalised the card. We ended up not putting the tag titles on the line, or the champions on the card at all (by way of discouraging bad locker room behaviour going forwards), and our final match card ended up looking like this: In wrestlers’ court, Ms Quine found Jessica guilty of making a mess, and “sentenced” her to buy everyone drinks after the show. She also requested that everyone stick around for said drinks, because she had a pretty big announcement to make… and no, before anyone asks, I didn’t know what it would be!

It's Been A While... OOC Hi guys, just want to apologise for my inactivity on here of late. I got a new job, got super busy, and just couldn't cope keeping up with everything, and this forum was one of the things that suffered. That said, I miss it here!
