  1. But the pictures never did come... I'm pretty new to these forums, so I started this diary from scratch! I've just finished page 25 and am loving it! I'll be making predictions from the moment I'm fully caught up!

Not just people I like, or want to sign, but people I kind of want to follow the careers of. It's exhausting.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I do this, except I shortlist everyone with an existing relationship with anyone on my roster. Helps me with backstage morale (bringing in friends and family as soon as they become available), my tag division (reuniting historical tag teams), and keeping saves different.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Bigpapa42" data-cite="Bigpapa42" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I don't think this is necessarily totally unique. But I create matches just so they will show up in the show history. <p> </p><p> Started doing it when running tournaments. Nothing fancy- just a clone of a 1v1 match, but with "name" value and something like "Tournament" added to the name. So it shows in the show history as having been a Tournament match. Makes it much easier to track. Then I started doing it with puro companies that have Super Juniors, to differentiate those matches. I find that really helpful to make sure that the juniors are getting adequate matches on every card and not simply getting forgotten and lumped into multi-tags with the heavyweights</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's actually a damn good idea! Might start doing this!</p><p> </p><p> Another thing I do is incessant chemistry testing. I have a spreadsheet set up to track all chemistry of all three types (vs, tag, manager), and if I'm at the written contracts point, my house shows are constantly fully booked with new combinations. If not, my pre-show and post-show are just full of random combinations of people not being used on the main show!</p>
  4. <p>Apologies for double-posting, but there were a few I missed that I wanted to respond to! <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DatIsraeliGuy" data-cite="DatIsraeliGuy" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I sometimes use preset angles and not freestyle.<p> Crazy, I know.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I try to use as many preset angles as possible, and only freestyle when there really isn't a preset that covers what I'm trying to achieve. Freestyle angles feel like a cheat (just use each worker's best stat, give all a victory in the angle... it just isn't how it works. Some people have to lose momentum to gain it back) because they're so OP. I also never touch the editor. If someone doesn't want to sign with me, then it's up to me to play well enough to change their mind.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lavelleuk" data-cite="lavelleuk" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Nearly all my feuds overlap too, it's rarely x v y, usually others get involved so there are fresh matches each week</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I almost can't help but this happening. I start storylines as x v y, but within a few weeks, there'll be like eight people involved <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jomosensual" data-cite="Jomosensual" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>For matches or tournaments with big significance I like to run qualifying matches for every spot, even for my 30 man Rumble. Feel like that could make for a fun few weeks of TV and if you're going to get a world title match on a huge show I feel like you should have to really earn your spot, and there should be no questions as to why someone got in over someone else. With that much at stake the process should be clear as possible in my opinion. That being said, I am more than willing to have people be removed my injury and such to shake predictability every now and again, but for the most part I like to have all the cards on the table</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm like this. Just booked a tournament for my vacant TV Championship that ate up pretty much all of my TV time (appropriately) for like two months, just because I wanted everyone to have a shot at winning it!</p>

The way I do it, is I'll set my company up as best I can on day 1 of the save (offering contracts, tweaking product, storylines, etc), then when I advance a day, I make a mental note of the random profile. That person then becomes my main target.</p><p> </p><p> If they're instantly available to me, I'll start negotiations. If not, I shortlist them and gear my gameplay towards trying to sign them (for example, if I'm playing as a US company and they only work in Mexico, I try to spread south up to the point I can start running shows in Mexico and hopefully sign them).</p><p> </p><p> Once the first person has signed their contract and been assigned a position on the roster, the next time I advance a day, the process begins again. I find it helps keep my game a little unpredictable, and encourages me to use workers I never normally would (and in some cases, have never heard of!)</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Dave E Mac" data-cite="Dave E Mac" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I’ll start I offer contracts with no added perks at all.
