TNA Knocked Out! - Saturday, Week 4 March 2010

ODB is in the ring to open this week's Knocked Out! ODB's face is bruised and swollen from her match with Alissa Flash at Destination X.

An uncharacteristically subdued ODB says she wanted to apologize to the fans for not getting the job done this past Sunday. ODB says she was sure she could regain her title but she came up short. ODB says she isn't sure what the future holds for her or even if TNA is the right place for her anymore. The crowd can't believe what they are hearing and try to encourage ODB to persevere, when The Beautiful People's music hits!

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, along with Madison Rayne make their way down to the ring. Angelina has her ribs bandaged after the Ultimate X match last Sunday.

Angelina takes a microphone and says that it's about time that ODB realized what she has been saying for the past 3 years, that ODB is a loser and doesn't belong in the same company as The Beautiful People!

ODB avoids looking at Angelina instead just looking at the mat. Velvet Sky takes exception to this, grabbing the microphone out of ODB's hand and screaming at her to look at them.

ODB again refuses to look up, as Velvet jumps up and down on the spot. Madison Rayne grabs ODB's arm from behind and spins her to face Madison. Madison slaps ODB across the face with all her might.

ODB again doesn't react. The Beautiful People then begin to triple team ODB, laying in with kicks and punches as ODB cowers to the mat.

Christy Hemme and Tara make a dash to the ring and when The Beautiful People realize Scarlet Envy are coming they make a quick getaway!

The music of Knockouts Commissioner Chyna hits as she makes her way out on stage. Chyna says that if The Beautiful People want to keep bullying the other Knockouts then they need to put up or shut up and makes our main event of this evening: The Beautiful People verses ODB and Scarlet Envy!

Awesome Kong [vs] Sara Del Rey

Background:

This rematch was made by Knockouts Commissioner Chyna who felt the match at Destination X didn't have a decisive victor

Both Knockouts were visibly feeling the effects of their grueling encounter from 6 nights ago at Destination X. Awesome Kong is sporting a bandage across her forehead while Sara Del Rey has her chest and upper arms heavily bandaged.

Another physical encounter between the two Knockouts who took each other to the limit again. Taz speculates if Sara Del Rey wins tonight does this mean the prophecy is fulfilled.

Once again, Del Rey tries to use the Oblivion Spike however Kong was one step ahead this time, disarming her and tossing her to the mat. Awesome Kong sets Sara Del Rey up for the Awesome Bomb however once on Kong's shoulders, Del Rey rips off Kong's bandage and bites down on her forehead!

Kong staggers as Del Rey plants Kong with a DDT. Kong's head has been reopened by Del Rey as she smears Kong's blood across her face! Kong is again freaking out on the mat motioning for something to wipe the blood away. As she gets to her knees, Sara Del Rey connects with a massive running headbutt! Kong crumples as Del Rey covers her, grabbing the tights for extra security!

Winner: Sara Del Rey

After the match, Sara Del Rey retrieves the Oblivion Artifact. Referees have provided Awesome Kong a towel and try to assist her to clean up the blood from her face however she resists.

Sara Del Rey shoves the Oblivion Artifact into Kong's face who slumps on her knees with her eyes down. Sara Del Rey grabs a microphone and tells the world that the Oblivion Prophecy has finally been fulfilled, which means all of the Knockouts are in danger as Oblivion can not be stopped!

Del Rey orders Kong out of the ring, who immediately obeys. Del Rey and Kong walk silently to the back.

Mike Tenay and Taz recap the Ultimate X match from Destination X. The announcers comment on Taylor Wilde's absence and recap her partner Sarita sending her through two tables. They wish Taylor Wilde a speedy recovery and then hype the Knockouts Championship match happening next month at Lockdown:

Daffney (w/ 'Living Legend' Alissa Flash) [vs] Sarita

Background:

Sarita is the Number One Contender to Alissa Flash's Knockouts Championship after winning the Ultimate X match at Destination X.
Daffney requested this match after Sarita took her out during Ultimate X.
Taylor Wilde is out after being injured in the Ultimate X match.

Despite being involved in the first ever Knockouts Ultimate X match just 6 nights ago, both of these Knockouts seemed to have escaped without any noticeable injuries.

Daffney looked to stop her friend Alissa Flash's new challenger in her tracks however the quick lucha style of Sarita was too much for Daffney. In the end it was Flash herself who accidentally cost her friend the match - getting up on the apron to distract Sarita, allowing Daffney to charge from behind. Unfortunately Sarita was too quick and side stepped, leaving Daffney to crash into Flash and Sarita to roll-up Daffney for the win!

Winner: Sarita

Finish: Roll up, following botched interference</div>

After the match, a furious Alissa Flash and Daffney beat down her challenger and with Taylor Wilde out injured, there was no one to come to Sarita's rescue!

Backstage, Lauren Brooke is standing by with TNA Knockouts Commissioner, Chyna.

Chyna says that The Beautiful People really get up her nose, and since they didn't defend the belts at Destination X due to the historic Ultimate X match, it's about time we declared a team Number One Contenders.

Chyna announces that next week it will be Scarlet Envy taking on The Bitch Breakers, ODB & Roxxi and the International Wrecking Crew in a four way tag match, with the winners going on to face Angelina Love and Velvet Sky next month, at Lockdown!

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are the Knockouts Tag Team Champions

It appeared that The Beautiful People would have the upper hand as both Velvet and Madison didn't compete at Destination X whereas it was only Christy Hemme on the opposing team who was at one hundred percent.

The taunting and beat down by The Beautiful People earlier in the evening must have lit something inside of ODB as she tore through The Beautiful People, to the point where Angelina Love was refusing to tag in and instead propped Madison up on the apron for Velvet to tag her in!

In the end, ODB manages to hit Madison Rayne with the BAM! for the win!

Winners: ODB and Scarlet Envy

World Wide News Round-Up - March 2010

WWE:

WrestleMania 26 was held and featured the main event of Shawn Michaels retaining his WWE Championship over Randy Orton;
Michelle McCool retained her WWE Women's Championship over Beth Phoenix and;
Maryse also retained her WWE Divas Championship over Gail Kim.
WWE has also had it's annual post-WrestleMania release spree and although not all names have been confirmed as yet, in a shocking move WWE released The Undertaker. Michelle McCool's contract was also up this month, however WWE managed to re-sign the current Women's Champion.
Other names confirmed to have been released includes Hornswoggle, Slam Master J and Katie Lea Burchill. We hope to have a full list of names soon.

TNA:

The Main Event of March's Destination XPPV saw AJ Styles retain his TNA World Heavyweight Championship over Kevin Nash. Former Champion Jeff Jarrett lost the title on Impact! to AJ Styles earlier this month.
Doug Williams also defeated Shannon Moore for the TNA Global Championship on Impact this month.
TNA expanded it's roster this month, picking up René Dupree, Tommy Dreamer, Scott Steiner, Gregory Helms and Ken Shamrock. TNA Management reportedly felt they lacked star power in their active roster.

SHIMMER:

SHIMMER held another single taping which was main evented by MsChif successfully defending her SHIMMER Championship against Mercedes Martinez.
TNA Knockouts Jetta (Sirren) and Ashley Lane (Madison Rayne) also appeared.

WSU:

WSU held a single event in March, which was main evented by Allison Danger successfully defending her WSU Heavyweight Title over Ariel.

ODB and Maxxine starting the match, before Maxxine tagging in Jazz. Jazz takes control before ODB tags in Christy Hemme. Jazz maintains control over Hemme however she is able to get the tag to partner Tara. Jazz tags in Jackie Moore who takes it to Tara. Tara is able to take control and build momentum before she hits Jackie with the Widow's Peak out of nowhere! 1... 2... 3! The Bitch Breakers have been eliminated, just like that! Roxxi comes in next and takes it to Tara, getting a nearfall. Tara tags in Sirren who sees her first action of the evening. Lacey with a distraction allows Sirren to take advantage, forcing Roxxi to tag in ODB to avoid a possible pinfall. The former Knockouts Champion is able to build some momentum and hit the BAM! on Sirren! 1... 2... 3! HBICs have been eliminated, after Christy Hemme prevented Maxxine from breaking up the pin! Christy Hemme now sizing up ODB as the two go toe-to-toe. Both teams would love the chance to face The Beautiful People for the Tag Team Championships! Christy uses her quickness to wisely tag in her stronger, more experienced partner, Tara. Tara and ODB are no strangers, having feuded over the Knockouts Championship late last year and into January. The two Knockouts brawl all over the ring before Roxxi makes a blind tag, coming in and taking down Tara. Tara is able to withstand the offense enough to make a tag back to Hemme. Unfortunately for The Original Knockout and her tag partner, history was not fated to repeat itself as unlike their last encounter, this time Sirren and Maxxine have 'The Lovely' Lacey in their corner.

Lacey helped to ensure her girls bounce back from their loss in the number one contenders match last week by tripping the inexperienced Toxxin behind the referees back allowing Maxxine to capitalize.

Every character feels spot on, and the roster continues to take brilliant shape. Mickie James is a great addition of course, and Katie Lea could potentially be a good move too now she's not with WWE.

The entire Knockouts division are assembled on the stage as Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way out to the ring. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to Knocked Out! Mike Tenay reminds us that Lockdown is only two weeks away from tomorrow and Chyna has promised a huge announcement regarding the Knockouts!

Chyna says that she is proud of the Knockouts Division and how they keep on breaking down barriers, such as the first ever Knockouts Ultimate X Match at Destination X last month. Chyna says she is always trying to showcase as many women as possible and although there are already two Knockouts matches announced for Lockdown concerning the titles, Chyna has decided to add one more.

Chyna explains that she is bringing back the Queen of the Cage match, where 10 Knockouts will compete to become the next challenger for the Knockouts Championship. Chyna says that the 10 Knockouts chosen for this match will be revealed over the coming weeks however announces six of the participants: Awesome Kong, Tara, Hamada, Christy Hemme, Sara Del Rey and The Lovely Lacey!

Chyna then says that she promised Oblivion would be in action, so all 6 of the announced Knockouts will be competing next, with Oblivion teaming up with Lacey to take on Scarlet Envy and Hamada!

The menacing team of Oblivion and the obnoxious Lacey were a tall order for Scarlet Envy and Hamada, with Christy Hemme being targeting as the weak link. Despite being in firm control of the match, Lacey blind tagged herself in as Kong looked to put Christy Hemme away following a spinning back fist, charging into the ring and stealing the victory!

After the break, Lauren Brooke is standing by with the Number One Contenders for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, Roxxi and ODB!

Lauren asks ODB and Roxxi if they have anything to say in response to The Beautiful People's comments from last week.

ODB says that Mi Pi Skanky have been getting all up in her business for years and she is done playing with barbies. Roxxi says that she hasn't forgotten that Angelina is responsible for her having her head shaved a couple of years ago and she would love to give The Beautiful People their very own makeover.

Madison Rayne enters the shot, suspiciously solo. Madison tells ODB that she needs to forget about Angelina and Velvet as she is facing her next and she is no pushover. ODB laughs at Madison before taking a swig from her flask.

Madison says she heard that Angelina and Velvet won't be at ringside as they are busy visiting Roxxi and ODB's friend Traci...

Roxxi looks at ODB concerned and they both run off. Lauren shouts to ODB reminding her she is due in the ring any minute! Madison flicks Lauren's hair and look smug...

Mike Tenay and Taz remind us that The Beautiful People will put their Titles on the line in just over 2 weeks, inside Six Sides of Steel, at Lockdown.

Madison Rayne [vs] ODB

Background:

ODB and Roxxi are Number One Contenders for The Beautiful People's Knockouts Tag Team Titles

Madison Rayne is out first and is looking very cocky. ODB's music hits but she is nowhere to be seen. Backstage cameras cut to ODB and Roxxi who are tending to Traci Brooks who has been the victim of an attack. Roxxi realizes the referee is about to disqualify ODB as a no-show, and encourages her to head out to the ring.

ODB's music restarts and she makes it out on stage just in time, as Madison has a tantrum in the ring.

ODB rolls into the ring and the bell sounds, with ODB taking Madison down with a spear. The cameras on the titantron cut back to show Angelina and Velvet beating down Roxxi as Traci is screaming for help. ODB looks like she is about to leave the ring to help her friends as Madison rolls her up for a two count. Madison lays the boots into ODB and taunts her about her friends.

This fires ODB up who kips up and unleashes a flurry of punches to Madison Rayne. Angelina and Velvet then race down to the ring and begin laying into ODB resulting in a disqualification.

Winner: ODB

After the break, SoCal Val is standing by with the HBICs outside their locker room.

Val asks how Lacey feels about being included in the Queen of the Cage match at Lockdown. The Lovely Lacey tells Val that was a stupid question because she is obviously deserving of the spot and therefore it was not a surprise at all! Lacey says that she showed everyone tonight that she is a threat and finally people are paying attention to the HBICs.

Mickie James and Sarita walk down the hallway heading towards the ring for their match, and Val says hello. Lacey is clearly annoyed. Lacey tells Val to focus on her. Lacey says that she didn't receive fanfare like Mickie did last week and that it is disgusting how everyone is falling over themselves just because Mickie James is here. Lacey tells Val that is what is wrong with this place. She is prettier than Mickie and more talented yet she had to threaten to quit just to be given TV time... Lacey looks like she has had an idea. She tells Sirren and Maxxine to follow her, as the HBICs walk off...

Just prior to this evening's main event, Mike Tenay and Taz remind us that Alissa Flash will be defending her Knockouts Title against Sarita, in just over 2 weeks inside Six Sides of Steel, at Lockdown.

Mickie James shocked the world last week, debuting in TNA to save Sarita from Alissa Flash and Daffney. This highly anticipated match did not disappoint with Mickie James working over Daffney and Alissa Flash refusing to tag in! Eventually Flash had to tag in to turn the tide, using her strength to ground Mickie James. Eventually the popular veteran is able to get the hot tag to the Number One Contender, Sarita!

Sarita uses her speed to stay a step ahead of the Champion until Daffney causes the distraction. Daffney tags herself in but unfortunately for her, the Number One Contender is able to put her away while the Champion looks on from the apron!

Winners: Sarita & Mickie James

Knockouts Commissioner Chyna is in the ring as we kick off this week's Knocked Out! Chyna recaps her announcement from last week and says that tonight she will reveal the final 4 participants for the Queen of the Cage match, which will happen at Lockdown one week from tomorrow!

First, Chyna reminds us of the rules of Queen of the Cage: 10 Knockouts start outside the caged ring where a reverse battle royal will take place. The first two Knockouts who successfully climb into the cage with their feet hitting the mat will then have a singles match, one fall to a finish. The winner will go onto challenge the Knockouts Champion next month at Sacrifice!

Chyna announces in addition to Awesome Kong, Sara Del Rey, Hamada, Tara, Christy Hemme and The Lovely Lacey, competing in the Queen of the Cage match will be Jazz, Daffney, Mickie James and Taylor Wilde!

Mike Tenay reports that Lacey had requested this match after being jealous of the fanfare surrounding Mickie's debut in TNA.

A very competitive match by two talented wrestlers to open this week's show. The veteran Mickie was very aware of the tactics typical of the HBICs and managed to avoid any outside interference. Despite her best efforts, a misstep cost Lacey the match, with Mickie reversing the Lungblower and catching Lacey with a huge kick to the head!

Winner: Mickie James

Backstage, Oblivion have taken over a camera and have a warning for the rest of the Knockouts competing in the Queen of the Cage match. Sara Del Rey and Awesome Kong say that nothing can stop the Oblivion Prophecy and with both of them in the match, they are guaranteed to win so Flash and Sarita both need to make sure their medical insurance is paid up.

Del Rey reveals a life size cardboard cut out of Christy Hemme. Kong hits a spinning backfist and the head flies off. Sara Del Rey then pulls out the Oblivion Spike and scratches out Christy's eyes!

Mike Tenay and Taz hype up the Knockouts Tag Team Championship match happening next week at Lockdown, and recap the brutal assaults The Beautiful People delivered to the Number One Contenders, and their friend Traci Brooks last week.

The Beautiful People [vs] ODB, Roxxi & 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks

Background:

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions
ODB and Roxxi will challenge for the Tag Titles at Lockdown
This match was made after The Beautiful People's separate ambushes of ODB, Traci and Roxxi last week

All three of the women were itching to get their hands on The Beautiful People however it was Traci who got the first shot as Angelina sent in Madison to take the brunt. Eventually Velvet came in to work over Traci who manages to tag Roxxi into the match. Roxxi ends up turning the momentum and beating down Velvet until Madison causes the distraction, allowing Velvet to tag in Angelina. Angelina then demands ODB tag into the match, who happily obliges. Angelina pulls out another brown paper bag, like the one used on ODB last week.

ODB charges at Angelina Love who gets taken down by a spear. ODB begins to take her frustrations out on Angelina as Madison and Velvet dash over and beat down Roxxi and Traci, sending them into the barricade and steel steps respectively. ODB heads outside the ring and forces The Beautiful People to retreat however the damage was done, with the attack last week and now this, it was up to ODB to go at it alone.

ODB takes a swig of liquid courage and charges back into the ring taking down Angelina with a series of clotheslines. The overconfident ODB then invites Velvet and Madison into the ring who are able to duck a double clothesline attempt and take down ODB with their own clothesline.

The two Knockouts grab ODB and hold her in place as Angelina Love charges and connects with the Botox Injection!

Angelina Love then covers ODB for the pin as Roxxi desperately tries to make the save, however it was too little too late for the Number One Contenders.

Winners: The Beautiful People

After the break, Lauren Brooke is standing by with the Number One Contender to Alissa Flash's Knockouts Championship, Sarita and her Tag Partner Taylor Wilde who returned from injury last week to save Sarita and Mickie James.

Lauren asks Sarita what it means having Taylor back. Sarita says things feel complete again now Taylor is back by her side. Sarita apologizes to Taylor for causing the injuries at Destination X and welcomes her back with a hug.

Taylor says she forgives Sarita without a doubt and says that if she was quicker she would have done the same thing. Taylor says she is very excited about Queen of the Cage at Lockdown as she can win the opportunity to face Sarita for the Title, should Sarita beat Flash next week.

Sarita questions Taylor's lack of faith in her ability to overcome Flash. Taylor Wilde then pulls away from Lauren's microphone and says she didn't mean it like that. Sarita sarcastically thanks Taylor for her support before walking away...

Mike Tenay and Taz hype up the Knockouts Championship match happening next week at Lockdown. Taz reminds us of how Sarita injured her tag partner to earn this opportunity, as Mike Tenay points out Taylor saved Sarita last week.

Mike Tenay points out that the Number One Contender for Alissa Flash's Knockouts Championship, Sarita was scheduled to accompany her Tag Team Partner Taylor Wilde tonight however speculates the disagreement backstage may have resulted in Sarita's no show.

Alissa Flash taunts Taylor Wilde about being alone and her injury which fires up Wilde. The two Knockouts take each other to the limit in this match with their styles meshing well. It was obvious that Taylor's mind was elsewhere however as there were a few lapses in concentration allowing the Knockouts Champion to take advantage, one such instance resulted in the win.

Winner: Alissa Flash

Finish: Submission, following the Fujiwara Armbar

That is, until Mickie James runs down the ramp to make the save. Sarita also charges out to the ring a few moments later, chasing Flash and Daffney off!

Alissa Flash surveys the situation and decides that Taylor is too beaten down to give them a numbers advantage, so Daffney and Flash storm the ring and brawl with Sarita and Mickie James!

The Lovely Lacey then sprints out to the ring and assists Flash and Daffney to beat down Taylor Wilde, Sarita and Mickie James.

Officials storm the ring to restore order and prevent further damage this close to Lockdown! Mike Tenay says he can't remember a time when the whole Knockouts Division was this competitive and explosive, saying it feels like it's at breaking point!

Hot off their 6 person tag win last week, Angelina Love looked to continue the momentum for The Beautiful People against a familiar opponent in Roxxi.

Roxxi had support in her corner to counter The Beautiful People and a brawl which erupted at ringside resulted in all four Knockouts being removed from ringside by the official.

During the commotion, Angelina Love managed to spray hairspray into the eyes of Roxxi, then rolling her up and using a handful of tights to secure the victory.

Winner: Angelina Love

Finish: Roll up

All three Knockouts are dressed in black, with Angelina wearing a veil over her face and Madison with dark glasses obscuring her eyes. As the camera pans to the ring we see a black carpet is covering the mat and a mix of black and white floral arrangements adorn the corners of the six sided ring. Two easels are positioned in each of the far corners, with one containing the most unflattering picture of ODB and the other a similarly unflattering picture of Roxxi. Small floral wreaths are positioned over the easels. Angelina Love takes a microphone and tells the Impact Zone that they are gathering here today to mourn the loss of ODB and Roxxi as tomorrow night, two of the ugliest Knockouts to ever blemish the face of TNA Wrestling will be permanently cleansed from existence inside the six sides of steel! Velvet Sky pulls a black hankie out of her top and dries her eyes as Madison Rayne consoles her. Velvet indicates she wants the microphone. Angelina tells the crowd that through her grief, Velvet Sky is bravely going to add her memories of ODB and Roxxi. Velvet Sky pretends to be choked up as she tries to speak. Soldiering on, she says that her favorite memory of ODB was when she lost the most prestigious Championship in Women's Wrestling - the TNA Knockouts Championship to Cody Deaner. Mike Tenay points out that this isn't quite what happened although Cody did pin Angelina for the belt. Taz tells Mike that talking through the eulogy is disrespectful. Madison Rayne now steps up to the podium and offers a memory of Roxxi. Madison says she has prepared a little slideshow and directs our attention to the Titantron. A slideshow of pictures from Sacrifice 2008 plays of Roxxi getting her head shaved, thanks to Angelina Love. The Beautiful People all laugh at their own taunts and pull out oversized paper bags. Lacey put on a great showing, taking out Taylor Wilde early in the match before Mickie James turned the momentum on Daffney. Eventually Alissa Flash came in and took down Mickie James, forcing the hot tag to Sarita. The challenger was able to get the upper hand and pin the Champion just 24 hours out from their Championship encounter! The Knockouts division has never been so stacked, competitive or explosive. Since Knockouts Commissioner Chyna announced the return of the Queen of the Cage match, the whole Knockouts Division has been tipped on its head.

Newcomer Mickie James has been preoccupied with assisting her friend Sarita while her tag partner Taylor Wilde was out of action. However, strong showings in her tag and singles match debuts in TNA catapulted her into this match. As seen on Knocked Out! this week, Taylor Wilde hadn't taken too kindly to a new Knockout assisting her tag partner and has made her own desire to be Champion again clear...

Another newcomer who has been rubbed up the wrong way by Mickie James' debut is 'The Lovely' Lacey, who felt her own debut was overshadowed by the arrival of Mickie James. Lacey has inserted herself into Mickie's business the last few weeks, although has been on the losing end of tag matches. Lacey did however manage to steal a victory with Oblivion over Scarlet Envy and Hamada - all of whom will be in this match...

Speaking of Oblivion, Awesome Kong and Sara Del Rey are one of two tag teams who will be in this match however it is important to remember that it is every Knockout for herself. Since fulfilling the Oblivion Prophecy, Sara Del Rey seems to have some kind of control over the monster Kong and was furious about being left out of the Tag Title Number One Contender match. Most would agree we haven't even begun to see what this dangerous team or the Oblivion Prophecy is capable of...

The other team who will be in this match is Scarlet Envy - Tara and Christy Hemme. Tara has been unsuccessful in her Title pursuits the last few months however is arguably the most familiar with the rest of the women in this match, even newcomer Mickie James. Christy Hemme may be the least experienced woman in this match however she has shown improvements week after week and teaming with the veteran Tara has only assisted her growth as a wrestler. Some are speculating this could be the fiery redhead's opportunity to reach the top of the mountain...

The Bitch Breaker herself, Jazz is also one to watch in this match. Since debuting in TNA a few months ago many feel she has not yet shown what she is capable of and a brawl based match such as this may be right up the former ECW wrestler's alley...

A wildcard in this match is Hamada who has found herself lost in the shuffle of the Knockouts Division. She has been unsuccessful against newcomers Sara Del Rey and The Lovely Lacey however has had some luck over the past few months in tag matches, teaming with the likes of Sarita and Taylor Wilde as well as ODB and Roxxi to take on the likes of the HBICs and Alissa Flash and Daffney. If Hamada is able to pull out the win tonight there would be no denying her place on the card...

Lastly, the aforementioned Daffney. Often seen by the side of Knockouts Champion Alissa Flash, winning Queen of the Cage would certainly make for an interesting development in their allegiance. Daffney has had some success with singles wins over Christy Hemme and Roxxi over the past few months however often finds herself as a pawn in tag matches involving Flash. Like Tara and Taylor Wilde, Daffney also participated in the Knockouts Ultimate X match last month and proved she is one to watch in unconventional situations...

Which two Knockouts will make it into the cage first?

ODB & Roxxi [vs] The Beautiful People ©

ODB and Roxxi are no strangers to Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, having battled them throughout the past 3 years. This time around, The Beautiful People have promised to cleanse TNA of Roxxi and ODB for good.

Hot off the heels of ODB's Knockouts Championship rematch loss at Destination X, The Beautiful People took no time in telling ODB how much of a loser she was and laying in the boots. ODB would get some revenge teaming with Scarlet Envy to defeat the trio later that night.

The following week in the main event of Knocked Out! ODB and Roxxi became the Number One Contenders to The Beautiful People's Tag Team Championships in a fatal four way elimination match, by last eliminating Scarlet Envy.

The Beautiful People then upped their mind games, baiting ODB into almost missing her match with Madison Rayne by taking out ODB and Roxxi's friend Traci Brooks. It turned out this was a ploy to get ODB alone for The Beautiful People to triple team the rough and tumble Knockout, after also taking out Roxxi backstage during the match. The Beautiful People then added insult to injury by paperbagging the former Knockouts Champion.

The following week the two teams met in a 6 Knockout tag match which included their respective allies, Madison Rayne and Traci Brooks. Unfortunately for the Number One Contenders, more underhanded tactics saw The Beautiful People pick up the victory and lay the boot in some more.

This week saw The Beautiful People host a funeral for ODB and Roxxi however this seemed to backfire spectacularly by firing up ODB enough to defeat Velvet Sky in a one-on-one match.

Who will walk out of the six sides of steel as Knockouts Tag Team Champions? Will The Beautiful People finally cleanse TNA of ODB and Roxxi or will The Beautiful People get their comeuppance?

This match was set last month at Destination X when Sarita won the first Knockouts Ultimate X match by tossing her partner Taylor Wilde through a stack of tables to earn the right to face Alissa Flash inside the cage.

With her partner out injured and Flash herself feeling the effects of a grueling Last Woman Standing match against ODB, Flash's ally Daffney looked to halt the momentum of Sarita in a one-on-one match. Unfortunately for the Champion, a miscommunication cost Daffney the match and giving Sarita another win. After the match, the furious duo double teamed the solo challenger.

The following week, Daffney and Alissa Flash scouted the challenger from the commentary table as Sarita knocked off Madison Rayne. Just like the week before, after the match the duo began a double team assault until the debuting Mickie James came to Sarita's rescue.

A tag match between the four Knockouts was set for the next week where Sarita and Mickie James were able to come out on top. Again, seizing an opportunity to try and take out the Number One Contender, Alissa Flash attacks from behind. This time it was Taylor Wilde returning from injury whom saved Sarita from further harm.

Taylor Wilde told Sarita she forgave her for the injury and was looking forward to winning Queen of the Cage in order to challenge her friend for the Title, should Sarita wins it at Lockdown. Sarita seemed taken aback by her partner's lack of confidence and when Chyna granted Flash's request for a match against Wilde, she was left to do it solo.

A familiar post match beatdown began and it was Mickie James who was first out to help Taylor with Sarita a noticeable few moments behind her.

Everything culminated this past week on Knocked Out! when Flash teamed with Daffney and Lacey in a losing effort to Sarita, Taylor Wilde and Mickie James. Sarita was able to pin the Champion cleanly in this match. It was perhaps what happened next which was most shocking - Taylor Wilde appeared jealous of newcomer Mickie James and also seemed to fixate on the Knockouts Championship and forcing the Number One Contender to raise the belt high above her head, much to Alissa Flash's fury...

Who will walk out of the Six Sides of Steel with the Knockouts Championship and go on to face the Queen of the Cage at Sacrifice?

Oblivion make their way out to the ring first with their usual theatrics. Sara Del Rey has on her robe and carrying the Oblivion Artifact preaching at fans as Awesome Kong silently walks behind her. Taz reminds us that there is a dangerous spike contained inside the Artifact. Mike Tenay notes that it was just over a month ago at Destination X when these two Knockouts were tearing each other apart, and now they are a dangerous team!

Out next is 'The Bitch Breaker' herself, Jazz. Sharmell and 'The Pride of Tennessee' Jackie Moore accompany her out onto the stage however elect to allow Jazz to head to ringside solo. Taz says that he knows Jazz very well from their time in ECW and other companies and that she is a tough and dangerous woman...

Hamada is out next and Mike Tenay notes that not only is tonight Hamada's TNA Pay-Per-View debut, but should Hamada make it inside the Six Sides of Steel, this would be the Japanese Native's first Cage Match. Taz speculates that Hamada's run thus far in TNA has been underwhelming, particularly with what she has given up to come to America...

Taylor Wilde is next to make her way to the ring as Mike Tenay and Taz discuss her partner Sarita's Knockouts Championship match tonight and also highlights the tension we have seen between them over the past couple of weeks. Taz believes this is due to Taylor's jealousy of Sarita's Championship opportunity and Mickie James assisting Sarita while Taylor was out injured...

Speaking of, Mickie James is out next as the camera catches Taylor Wilde with a disgusted look on her face. Mike Tenay hypes up the 5 time Women's Champion who is also making her TNA Pay-Per-View debut tonight. Taz says that Mickie James taking on either Sarita or Alissa Flash would be a great Pay-Per-View worthy match. Mike Tenay suggests that Mickie James may have the most enemies in this match out of everyone, specifically mentioning Daffney, Taylor Wilde and Lacey as all having issues with the new Knockout...

'Zombie Hot' herself, Daffney is out next and she runs towards the cage and ends up biting the steel! Taz informs us that he believes the brawl based component of the start of this match suits Daffney and she is considered a huge wildcard.

Scarlet Envy partners, Tara and Christy Hemme are out next. Mike Tenay points out that Oblivion is the only other team who have both members in this match which is a huge advantage. Taz doesn't believe Tara's experience is enough to counter Christy's lack of experience however suggests that if Christy doesn't hold Tara back in this match, she has a good shot at becoming Queen of the Cage...

The last participant, 'The Lovely' Lacey makes her way out on stage with Maxxine and Sirren by her side. The referee orders them to return to the backstage area which doesn't go down well. Mike Tenay suggests that Lacey may also be a wildcard in this match as we haven't seen a lot from her in terms of in ring work. Taz reminds us that she is an accomplished wrestler with 7 years experience on the independent circuit and she is hungry for the Knockouts Championship!

The bell sounds and the 10 Knockouts begin a massive ringside brawl as Mike Tenay attempts to explain the rules of this match. The first two Knockouts who are able to climb the cage and get inside the ring will then have a one-on-one match where whoever scores a pinfall or submission will be the winner. Scarlet Envy team up to take on Jazz and Hamada while Oblivion split up with Kong going after Taylor Wilde and Del Rey taking on Daffney. Mickie James and Lacey are also going at it. The action is hard to keep up with however Taylor Wilde makes an attempt to scale the cage but is taken down with a thud thanks to Kong. Tara and Christy then turn their attention to Kong as Jazz goes after Del Rey. Daffney teams with Lacey to beat down Mickie James. Hamada makes a move however Jazz and Del Rey intervene. With James down, Daffney then turns on Lacey and beats her down before climbing up the side of the cage with Christy Hemme scaling up behind her.

Tara, Kong, Lacey, Jazz and Del Rey are all brawling at the foot of the cage as Daffney kicks Christy right in the head as she plummets to the group of Knockouts below. Daffney is now up to the top of the cage and looks to be the first one to get in. Meanwhile, Mickie James, Hamada and Taylor Wilde are going at it on the other side of the ringside area. Taylor Wilde attempts to spear Mickie however Mickie side steps as Taylor takes out Hamada.

Daffney has decided she doesn't want to jump down into the ring and instead launches herself off the cage into Tara, Kong, Jazz and Del Rey with Lacey just getting out of harms way!

A furious Taylor Wilde is brawling with Mickie James as Lacey realizes there is no one to stop her from ascending the cage! She climbs as fast as she can as the other Knockouts are recovering from Daffney and Christy's dives. Lacey climbs over and drops down to the canvas below making her the first finalist! Lacey celebrates as if she has just won the Title itself as the carnage outside the cage continues.

Taylor Wilde attempts to throw Mickie James into the barricade however Mickie manages to reverse it and then begins to climb the cage. Awesome Kong is back to her feet and also begins to climb the cage with a very concerned looking Lacey inside.

Taylor Wilde is hot on Mickie James' heels as Tara is also going up the cage after Kong! Inside the ring, Lacey bites Kong's fingers from inside the ring! She doesn't want to be stuck inside Six Sides of Steel with the Monster Kong!!

Mickie James and Taylor Wilde have met each other face-to-face at the top of the cage, exchanging blows! Hamada and Jazz are also climbing up the side of the cage. Taylor Wilde uses a thumb to Mickie's eyes to get the advantage. Taylor attempts to push Mickie back towards the outside of the ring however Mickie kicks in Taylor's direction with enough force to have Taylor topple over, managing to grab onto the cage. Daffney is holding onto Hamada's leg preventing her ascent while Del Rey is doing the same to Jazz.

Mickie James takes a moment to try and regain her vision as Lacey is shrieking at her from inside the ring. Mickie appears to follow the sound of Lacey's voice to guide her to climb down the right side of the cage and into the ring! Mickie James is the other finalist!

The Lovely Lacey [vs] Mickie James

The rest of the Knockouts realize their chance is gone and slowly climb down the cage and begin to clear the ringside area. No sooner is Mickie's feet on the mat is Lacey going after her, taking her down with a Thez Press. Maxxine and Sirren make their way out to ringside to show support to the leader of the HBICs. Lacey yells at Mickie and tells her she should never have left the other place as Lacey will make sure she is a nobody in TNA.

Mickie begins to get fired up and hits Lacey in the mid section with a right hand before getting back to her feet. Lacey tries to hit the Lungblower however Mickie pushes her off. Lacey then tries to throw Mickie head first into the cage however Mickie James reverses it and Lacey goes straight into the steel!

Sirren and Maxxine realize things aren't going well and begin to climb up the side of the cage, presumably to enter the ring to assist Lacey. Mickie James knows she needs to end this quick and takes Lacey down with a series of clotheslines. Mickie James then hits the Mick Kick on a dazed Lacey!

No! Lacey gets her shoulder up... just! Mickie hits the mat with frustration but stays on Lacey, getting her up and spiking her with a jumping DDT.

Mickie covers Lacey, hooking the leg:

Mickie James has become Queen of the Cage, as Maxxine and Sirren dangle over the top of the cage.

Tale of the Tape:

Cage neutralizer? Usually The Beautiful People's M.O involves outside interference
Both teams are very familiar to each other
Does the Six Sides of Steel favor the more physical styles of ODB and Roxxi?

The challengers are out first to a loud pop from The Impact Zone. ODB is carrying a bag with her to the ring. Once in the ring she pulls out a second flask from the bag and gives it to Roxxi!

The TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are out next, accompanied by Madison Rayne as usual.

The bell rings and this Tornado Tag Team Match is underway. Immediately ODB goes after Angelina Love as her and Velvet try to climb the cage to escape. Roxxi and ODB don't allow it, yanking the Champions back down to the mat by their tights. The challengers begin to lay into the Champions and throw both Beautiful People into the cage, much to the horror of Madison Rayne who is looking on. ODB and Roxxi both hit suplexs on their opponents before ODB calls for the Dirty Dozen with Roxxi driving Velvet into the turnbuckle between ODB's thighs. Velvet is trying to get what appears to be an unpleasant taste out of her mouth!

While they're busy with Velvet, Madison Rayne slides a hairspray can into the ring to Angelina, who manages to spray Roxxi before ODB takes her out with a spear. Angelina gets back to her feet and manages to counter ODB with a knee before taking down Roxxi with a clothesline. Angelina Love orders Madison to join them in the ring. Madison yells at the outside referee to open the cage door however the referee refuses! Madison protests as their is no disqualification. Referee Rudy Charles won't budge! Madison slaps him across the face in frustration!

Velvet has recovered from the dirty dozen and assists Angelina in a double suplex on Roxxi. The Champions then double team ODB tossing her into the side of the cage. Madison has decided she will climb the cage to join the match and begins to do so. As she does, The Original Knockout, Traci Brooks runs down to ringside, pulling Madison off the cage. The two begin to tussle before Traci throws Madison into the steel steps. Officials get involved and try to separate the two as Angelina and Velvet yell at Traci and the injustice which is happening in their eyes.

While this is happening, Roxxi has climbed the turnbuckle and hits the Champions with a diving crossbody. Roxxi gets Velvet up and hits the Voodoo Drop on her, into a pin:

No! Angelina makes the save!

ODB beats down Angelina love and hits her with a Fallaway Slam into the steel! Roxxi tells ODB to pin Angelina however ODB says she wants to make her suffer! ODB raises her flask and directs Roxxi to do the same! Roxxi and ODB hit cheers in the ring and take some liquid courage. This only allowed the Champions to get their second wind however!

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky slap the flasks out of the hands of their challengers. ODB and Roxxi then go to hit right hands on the Champions, ODB connects with Velvet however Angelina ducks Roxxi's right and comes back with the Botox Injection!

Angelina then attempts a second on ODB however ODB ducks. ODB then hits Angelina Love with a superkick and then climbs the turnbuckle and then up the cage. Velvet attempts to follow her and the two tussle while standing on the top rope. ODB with a well placed kick forces Velvet to fall onto the rope, causing Taz to ask whether landing like that hurts women.

ODB realizes Angelina is still down and from the top of the cage attempts a splash... however Angelina pulls Roxxi onto her to absorb the blow! Angelina then quickly covers Roxxi!

Tale of the Tape:

'Living Legend' Alissa Flash has been dominant since rising to the top of the Knockouts Division
Six Sides of Steel prevents Daffney and Taylor Wilde from getting involved
Sarita pinned the Champion in a tag match this week, can she do it with the title on the line?

The challenger, Sarita is out first. Mike Tenay reminds us this is Sarita's first shot at the Knockouts Championship. Taz also adds that Sarita and Alissa Flash debuted in TNA at the same time in a match which Flash lost. 'Living Legend' and Knockouts Champion, Alissa Flash is out next. The usually cocky Champion appears to be taken aback by the steel cage in front of her, almost hesitant to enter the ring.

The bell rings and the Knockouts lock up and put on a chain wrestling clinic, headlock takeovers to armdrags in a great sequence. The crowd begin to chant "Women's Wrestling" in appreciation of the athletically based competition. Flash then looks to use her power advantage to slow down Sarita's quick and high flying offence, taking her down with clotheslines and then a boot. Flash then hits a snap suplex for a nearfall.

Alissa Flash looked to keep Sarita grounded, locking in an armlock, perhaps beginning to soften her challenger up for a Fujiwara Armbar later on in the match. Sarita manages to squirm close enough to the side of the ring to use the cage to push herself off to roll through the maneuver and put a crossface on the Champion. The Champion uses her power to break the hold as Sarita builds up speed, hitting a low drop kick. Sarita then ascends the turnbuckles and hits another dropkick which knocks the Champion into the steel!

Sarita then rolls up Flash!

No! The Champion powers out!

The Knockouts get to their feet and Sarita continues the quick offence with a headscissors takedown! A groggy Flash then walks into a DDT by the challenger. Again, Sarita goes for the pin and gets a two count.

No! Flash again gets out. Sarita then climbs back to the top rope and motions for Flash to get up. As Flash does, Sarita hits a Diving Crossbody, however the Champion rolls through, lifting Sarita above her shoulders and into a Michinoku Driver II! Flash hooks the leg

No! The Challenger still has some fight left!

The Champion then gets back to a vertical base and grabs Sarita hitting a Release German Suplex. Flash then grabs Sarita by the legs and smashes her against the cage a couple of times.

Flash doesn't give Sarita a chance to recover, grabbing her up and hitting a Samoan Drop against the cage. Flash then covers the Challenger again, for a close 2 count. Sarita again barely manages to get the shoulder up!

Alissa Flash punches the mat in frustration before telling Sarita to stay down! Flash again forces the challenger to her feet and looked to be going for another Michinoku Driver, however the Challenger rolls from the Champion's shoulders into a sunset flip!

No! The Champion gets out! On her knees, Flash is planted by Sarita with a DDT for another 2 count.

It's now Sarita's turn to get her opponent up and props her up on the top turnbuckle! Sarita appears to be setting up a Frankensteiner however Flash holds onto the cage as Sarita struggles to not crash to the mat below. Sarita uses her agility to climb the cage above the Champion as Flash climbs in pursuit. The two Knockouts exchange blows atop the cage with Flash sitting on the corner, and Sarita looking to hit a Hurricarana as the crowd gasp!

Flash blocks the attempt and throws Sarita on her shoulders before launching them both off the cage with an Air Raid Crash!!! The crowd chants "Holy Shit!" as the Champion lands on the Challenger. With neither Knockout moving, the referee counts the pin

Winner: and STILL Knockouts Champion, Alissa Flash!

Finish: Pinfall, following an Air Raid Crash from the top of the cage

Alissa Flash is barely moving as the referee places the title on her chest. Flash manages to hug the belt with a smile, looking over at Sarita who hasn't moved!

WWE:

Extreme Rules was held and featured the main event of Shawn Michaels retaining his WWE Championship over Big Show and Batista in a Triple Threat;
Michelle McCool retained her WWE Women's Championship over Tiffany and;
Brie Bella won the WWE Divas Championship defeating Maryse;
Eve Torres noted in a radio interview that she has been dating fellow WWE Superstar, Zack Ryder for a short while.

TNA:

The Main Event of April's Lockdown PPV saw Kurt Angle win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, defating Samoa Joe and defending Champion AJ Styles inside Six Sides of Steel;
Eric Young also defeated Consequences Creed for the TNA Global Championship at Lockdown , Creed won the Title from Doug Williams on Impact during the month;
The Motor City Machine Guns also won the TNA Tag Team Championships, defeating defending Champions Hernandez and Matt Morgan, and Beer Money at Lockdown, inside Six Sides of Steel
TNA made a few big signings this month, picking up Mickie James who debuted in early April, Cody Rhodes, and Katie Lea. Katie Lea was released from WWE last month and Cody decided to sign with TNA instead of renewing his deal with WWE.
TNA also confirmed the releases of Lacey Von Erich and The Nasty Boys.

SHIMMER:

SHIMMER held another single taping which was main evented by MsChif successfully defending her SHIMMER Championship against TNA Knockout Ashley Lane (Madison Rayne).
TNA Knockouts Daffney, Nikki Roxx (Roxxi) Rain (Maxxine), Hamada and Sara Del Rey also appeared.

WSU:

WSU held a single event in April - "Counterpunch", which was main evented by Allison Danger successfully defending her WSU Heavyweight Title over Cindy Rogers.

Backstage, cameras catch ODB stretching in a corridor. The HBICs walk up behind her. The Lovely Lacey asks where Roxxi is. ODB tells Lacey that it is none of her business. Sirren then steps between them and gets in ODB's face saying that they are making it their business. Maxxine then comes around behind ODB.

Lacey tells ODB to relax as they aren't here to jump her - that's more of The Beautiful People's thing. Lacey says she just wants to give ODB some friendly advice, woman to woman. Lacey tells ODB that Roxxi is dead weight and she needs to drop her like a bad habit. Lacey tells ODB to think about it - how has her momentum been since Roxxi came back from injury. Lacey says she will spell it out for ODB - She lost the Knockouts Title and couldn't win it back - twice! She couldn't win the Tag Titles even when she was locked in a cage with the barbie dolls they call Champions.

Lacey smiles at ODB, taps her on the head - to which ODB slaps Lacey's hand away, before the HBICs leave...

Background:

This is Sirren's first singles match in TNA
Sarita is not here supporting her partner Taylor Wilde, some speculate due to ongoing issues between the two, others believe due to the grueling Six Sides of Steel loss to Alissa Flash at Lockdown.

The HBICs are itching to get into Title contention and knocking off a former Knockouts and Tag Champion, even in a singles match would help them climb the ladder. Unfortunately for Sirren, even with ongoing issues with her partner Taylor was able to come out on top in a relatively quick match which played to Sirren's comedy role.

Winner: Taylor Wilde

We cut backstage to Lauren Brooke standing by with Number One Contender for the Knockouts Championship at Sacrifice, Mickie James.

Lauren asks Mickie how she feels coming off her win at Lockdown, being crowned Queen of the Cage and Number One Contender. Mickie tells Lauren that she is pumped although admits she knows she may have ruffled some feathers coming in and so quickly getting a Championship opportunity. Mickie says that one thing she has learnt recently is to seize every opportunity and never take anything for granted, and in 3 weeks she will...

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions

The Beautiful People are extremely confident coming off their win over ODB and Roxxi at Lockdown - perhaps a little too confident in facing such an experienced and familiar opponent. Angelina Love wasn't expecting such fury from Tara who motioned that her and Christy are coming for the Tag Titles.

Tara completely dominated the match and was able to put Angelina away decisively with the Widow's Peak!

After the match, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne climb onto the apron, looking to get in the ring to get some revenge on Tara however Tara holds up her pet spider, Poison!

Velvet and Madison looked disgusted however before they can truly react, Christy Hemme sweeps both of their legs, having them crash down on the apron and to the floor.

Meanwhile, Tara released poison who crawls up Angelina's lifeless body before biting Angelina on the throat!! Angelina screams in agony and withers in pain as officials demand Tara pick up her spider. Tara grabs her pet and celebrates a victory with Christy Hemme while the ringside doctor tends to Angelina Love...

After the break, our Announcers Mike Tenay and Taz show us footage from Lockdown of Mickie James earning the Number One Contendership by becoming Queen of the Cage.

Taz reminds us that in 3 weeks from tomorrow, at Sacrifice Mickie James will face Knockouts Champion Alissa Flash one-on-one for the post prestigious Championship in all of Women's Wrestling:

SoCal Val is standing by with the Champion, Alissa Flash. Val congratulates Flash for her victory over Sarita at Lockdown and asks how she feels about her next Challenger - Mickie James.

Flash says that there is only one word that comes to mind when she hears Mickie's name: undeserving. Flash says that Mickie James screwed things up so bad in Titanland that they kicked her right out of Stamford, and now she has come to TNA to try and save her career and make herself relevant by clawing at the coat tails of the 'Living Legend' Alissa Flash. Flash snatches the microphone from Val and shoos her away.

Alissa Flash says that while Mickie has been doing cat fights and bikini shoots, she has been wrestling - week in and week out. Flash says that when she meets Mickie in the ring it won't be a pillow fight, there won't be any beach balls and water guns and there sure as hell won't be no lingerie.

Alissa Flash tells Mickie James that at Sacrifice she will expose Mickie for the fraud that she is, that everyone will see what an incompetent, over hyped wannabe wrestler she actually is, when she is in the ring with actual wrestlers. Flash says that Mickie James is nothing more than a rejected, deflated model flailing in a pool way out of her depth...

In what might be considered ODB and Roxxi's toughest challenge to date, just one week removed from a Six Sides of Steel loss to The Beautiful People they come up against the dominant Oblivion.

ODB's mind appeared to be elsewhere which added to the mountainous challenge being faced by the former Number One Contenders. After some back and forth with Sara Del Rey, Roxxi demands ODB tag her in due to not being on her game. With Roxxi in, the more powerful Del Rey was able to turn the tide before bringing in the monster Kong to finish the match with ease.

ODB (w/ Roxxi) [vs] Maxxine (w/ HBICs)

Background:

The words of the HBICs were clearly stuck in ODB's head last week after the loss to Oblivion
ODB requested an opportunity to face the HBICs

Eager to prove the HBICs weren't getting in the head of ODB, she requested this match after Knocked Out last week. Unfortunately for Maxxine, ODB used this opportunity to take out all of her pent up frustration - from losing the Knockouts Championship, to being unsuccessful in chasing the Tag Titles.

Tensions seemed to still exist between ODB and Roxxi however Roxxi was at ringside to support her friend and ensure 'The Lovely' Lacey and Sirren didn't factor into the match.

Winner: ODB

Finish: Pinfall, following the BAM! (TKO)
