Ice Magic [vs] HBICs (w/ The Lovely Lacey)

The HBICs have spent the last few months tormenting ODB, and causing tension with ODB's partner, Roxxi Laveaux. After trying to convince ODB that Roxxi was dead weight, the HBICs showed their vicious ways - ruthlessly injuring Roxxi to send a message to ODB - a message which was received by Roxxi as ODB not willing or able to have her partners back - and perhaps buying in to what the HBICs were selling.

With Roxxi on the shelf, ODB found an unlikely ally in the form of the mysterious Winter, who helped ODB fend off the HBICs. When a 2-on-3 handicap match was made, Winter revealed her true intentions - bringing Roxxi back from injury months earlier than expected thanks to her alternative healing methods.

The Roxxi whom returned however was not the same Knockout who was injured and left feeling powerless, weak and alone. Roxxi had returned to her Voodoo roots - either by choice or perhaps a byproduct of Winter's magic. Regardless, the HBICs came up short in what became a 3-on-3 tag match. Perhaps the real story from that match was Roxxi Laveaux's cold shoulder towards her former partner...

With some revenge on the HBICs, Ice Magic as they are now known looked towards climbing the ranks of the tag division - only to have the HBICs target them again, emphatically stating that this feud is not over yet...

Will Ice Magic get the last laugh on the malevolent HBICs or will it be the HBICs proving that Roxxi Laveaux is in fact dead weight?

Taylor Wilde & Sarita [vs] Oblivion

Oblivion had been warning Knockouts Commissioner Chyna for months that there was no stopping the Oblivion Prophecy and that total destruction would fall upon the Knockouts Division. Despite their threats, Chyna seemingly overlooked the menacing team for Tag Team Championship opportunities, and it all came to a head last month at Sacrifice. Oblivion stormed the ring and took out Sarita, Taylor Wilde and their tag partner ODB during a match against the HBICs.

The inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions didn't take too kindly to this, confronting and eventually brawling with Oblivion the first chance they got! Unfortunately for the scrappy team, they ended up worse-for-wear after this backstage encounter.

The following week, in a sanctioned encounter - Sara Del Rey was able to defeat Sarita - however Sarita's injuries from the week before likely influenced how one-sided this match was. Post match, Taylor Wilde was able to use her knowledge of battling Kong before to avoid an attack by the monster - however it wasn't long until Wilde was also laid out beside her partner.

The next week, it was Taylor Wilde's turn to face one-half of Oblivion - the monster Awesome Kong. Unfortunately Taylor wasn't able to recreate the magic which lead her to upsetting Kong to capture the Knockouts Championship a couple years earlier, as Wilde too failed to knock off the more dominant Knockout.

Seeing the destruction and injuries plaguing Taylor Wilde and Sarita, as well as other Knockouts whom have had the misfortune of crossing paths with Oblivion - and having signed their Slammiversary encounter, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna attempted to create some separation by both banning Oblivion from the iMPACT Zone and giving Wilde and Sarita time off until Slammiversary.

This past week however, Chyna was in Nashville for meetings with TNA Management so her ever helpful Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher took it upon herself to allow Oblivion back into the arena and fed them Toxxin and Mercedes Martinez with the promise of a match on Knocked Out! between Sara Del Rey and Taylor Wilde should they win - as if there was any doubt of the outcome.

As per stipulations, Wilde and Sarita returned just 24 hours before their tag encounter tonight at Slammiversary. This time however, the underdogs had a plan - taking out Kong on the outside and distracting Sara Del Rey by destroying the Oblivion Prophecy book, enabling a count out victory. Post match, Wilde and Sarita again managed to avoid guaranteed destruction by taking Kong out with a steel chair and putting Del Rey through a table!

Will the scrappy underdogs be able to topple the monsters in this David verses Goliath tag encounter or will the Oblivion Prophecy continue to cause carnage on the Knockouts Division?

TNA Knockouts Championship

Fatal Four-Way Match:

Angelina Love (w/ Velvet Sky) [vs] 'Living Legend' Alissa Flash © [vs] Tara (w/ Christy Hemme) [vs] Mickie James

Following a tumultuous night for the Knockouts at Sacrifice, TNA Executive Eric Bischoff ordered a 'State of the Knockouts Address' for the following week's Impact. During this, Bischoff blamed Knockouts Commissioner Chyna for the division being out of control and suggested that the Knockouts need to cut back on their athleticism and focus on being pretty. Eric Bischoff gave Chyna until Slammiversary to regain control and have the Knockouts put on a decent showing and to help her out, provided Chyna with an Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher.

With Knockouts Champion Alissa Flash condeming Chyna's management of the Knockouts Division, and Mickie James and Tara both pleading their cases, a Slammiversary match for the Knockouts Championship was made - with Miss Tessmacher adding Madison Rayne to the match to increase the sex appeal.

That week on Knocked Out! tensions began to escalte between the four Knockouts, with Madison Rayne losing to Tara and Mickie James pinning the Knockouts Champion in a tag match.

The following week, Madison Rayne again came up short against Mickie James before the leader of The Beautiful People, Angelina Love made her return from injury - which was at the hands of Tara's pet tarantula Poison. Miss Tessmacher had discovered that Angelina Love was cleared to return weeks prior however the medical documents went missing out of Chyna's office...

To make up for the mistake, Miss Tessmacher allowed Love to take Rayne's place in the fatal four-way as Angelina felt that Madison wouldn't be able to get the job done anyway. As compensation, Angelina allowed Madison to continue to hold Love's half of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Meanwhile, later that night the Knockouts Champion Alissa Flash was able to knock off Tara, while Mickie James was on commentary. Flash's victory came after Angelina Love decided to scout her opponents from ringside, causing the distraction.

A brawl between the Slammiversary opponents lead to a tag match where the Alissa Flash and Angelina Love were able to get the victory over Tara and Mickie James with Alissa Flash pinning Mickie James.

On Knocked Out! tensions boiled over just 24 hours out from the Championship match. After hearing from all three challengers individually - the Knockouts Champion Alissa Flash teamed up with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky to take on Mickie James, Tara and Christy Hemme. This time it was Angelina Love coming up short after a miscommunication involving the woman who was originally scheduled for the match - Madison Rayne. This allowed Tara to pin rival Angelina Love and walk into Slammiversary tonight riding a wave of momentum.

In the biggest challenge of Flash's title reign to date, who will walk out of Slammiversary with the Knockouts Championship?

Tale of the Tape:

Ice Magic are a relatively new team - HBICs have a tag team experience advantage
Ice Magic use their own mindgames involving magic - will this throw off the HBICs?
The Lovely Lacey will be at ringside - will the numbers advantage come into play?

'The Wicked' Winter and her partner, 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux - collectively known as Ice Magic make their way out to the ring first. Out next are their opponents, accompanied by 'The Lovely' Lacey ; Maxxine and Sirren - the HBICs.

As the HBICs are making their way down the ramp into the Impact Zone, ODB runs down the ramp and takes down Lacey with a club to the back! This prompts Ice Magic to roll out of the ring and begin brawling with their opponents prior to this match being officially under way!

ODB and Lacey end up brawling into the crowd and through to the backstage area - leaving the two teams to have a clean match-up. Roxxi Laveaux starts the match, taking out months of frustration on Sirren. Sirren eventually gets back in control of the match and brings Maxxine in. Maxxine prevents Roxxi from reaching Winter who is desperate for a tag.

More back and forth action ensues before Roxxi is finally able to crawl towards her partner however Maxxine cuts her off, dragging Roxxi back to their corner and putting the boot in for good measure. Maxxine taunts the mysterious Winter before the lights in the Impact Zone go out.

When the lights return we see somehow Roxxi Laveaux is now propped up against the turnbuckle in her corner to the surprise of a bewildered Maxxine. Winter easily tags herself in as Roxxi crumbles into a heap on the mat.

Winter charges in and takes down Maxxine and knocks Sirren off the apron for good measure. Sirren rolls back in as Winter has ascended to the top rope and hits both opponents with a missile dropkick! Roxxi joins Winter in the ring and the two hit a double suplex on Maxxine before Roxxi spears Sirren out of the ring.

This leaves Winter to hit the Icebreaker on Maxxine!

Taylor Wilde & Sarita [vs] Oblivion

Tale of the Tape:

Taylor Wilde & Sarita were the inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions
Oblivion have been on a rampage over the Knockouts Division and blame it entirely on Chyna
Will either team be at 100% after their encounters over the past few weeks?

Taylor Wilde and Sarita make their way out first, and although not visibly taped up - it is clear both Knockouts are dealing with some injuries. Out next is Oblivion - Awesome Kong has a bandage over her forehead from the repeated chair shots just 24 hours ago. Sara Del Rey is carrying what appears to be a repaired copy of the Oblivion Prophecy and appears to have painted tear steaks down her cheeks.

We cut backstage to see Raven watching Oblivion making their way out to the ring...

Back inside the arena and the referee is ready to call for the bell as the music of Knockouts Commissioner Chyna hits! Chyna explains that she doesn't want to be accused of overlooking Oblivion any longer so to show how much she values the team - she is making this match a Full Metal Mayhem Match!

On commentary, Taz questions how this is showing Oblivion that Chyna values them, with Mike Tenay speculating this favors the underdogs - Taylor Wilde and Sarita!

The bell rings as Mike Tenay explains the rules of the Full Metal Mayhem match - it is a tornado style match so no tags in and out - in addition chairs, tables and ladders are legal!

Immediately, Sarita and Taylor Wilde exit the ring and go digging for some equalizers and find a pair of steel chairs! Sarita manages to take down Sara Del Rey with a thud however Kong is too powerful and punches the chair out of the hands of Taylor Wilde!

Kong tosses Wilde into the barricade and again into the steel steps. Sarita leaps off the apron to hit Kong with a head scissors however Kong doesn't budge, instead Kong holds onto Sarita's legs dangling her upside down before slamming her head first into the barricade.

Sara Del Rey gets back to her feet and clearly hasn't forgotten that Sarita and Taylor Wilde had put her through a table just 24 hours ago - as she begins to set up a table at ringside. Kong slides Wilde back into the ring and the two familiar foes begin to duke it out as Del Rey positions Sarita on the table. Sara Del Rey climbs to the top rope however Taylor Wilde manages to hit a step-up kick, dazing Del Rey enough for Sarita to roll off the table.

Kong again takes Taylor down and tosses her out of the ring. Sarita slides into the ring and joins Del Rey on the top rope, looking for a suplex from the top rope down to the table below! Both Knockouts teeter on the top rope, jockeying for position before they both go crashing off the top turnbuckle down to the floor - missing the table!

Taylor Wilde has created some separation from Kong and has got herself a ladder - using it like a battering ram right into Kong! Wilde then checks on Sarita and the two look like they have a plan. They roll Kong into the ring and lay a few kicks into Del Rey.

Sarita positions the table between the apron and the barricade as Wilde balances the ladder across the same space. Sarita climbs to the top rope and takes down Kong with a missile drop kick, bringing the monster down to one knee. Taylor Wilde then copies her partner, taking Kong down.

Del Rey rolls back into the ring however is met by Sarita who tosses her back out to the floor. Sarita then joins Wilde in rolling Kong towards the side of the ring where the table and ladder are both waiting.

Now on the apron, Kong is slowly getting back to her feet as Sarita and Taylor Wilde both simultaneously run the ropes and flip over the top rope - each landing on one side of the ladder/table combo and using the momentum to drive Kong through the waiting weapons with a Sunset Flip/Powerbomb-like move!

The crowd in the Impact Zone erupts and chant "Holy Shit" as both the table and ladder - and likely Kong herself have been broken in half!

Sarita and Taylor Wilde only get a moment to soak in the adulation of the crowd as Del Rey is back in the ring and she has the steel chair in her hands! Del Rey hits Sarita however Taylor manages to duck and roll out of harms way... for now.

Sara Del Rey swings again however Wilde hits a drop kick, driving the steel chair back into the face of Del Rey, who falls out to ringside from the impact. Taylor Wilde sees an opening and runs the ropes to hit a basement dropkick however Del Rey uses the ring skirt to tie Wilde up and avoid the impact.

Del Rey then grabs the Oblivion Spike out of it's shell. Taylor Wilde is panicked at the sight however Sarita attempts to save her partner, and as a result gets the Oblivion Spike driven right into her face! Blood begins spilling out everywhere as Wilde kicks the Spike out of Del Rey's hand.

Medics are checking on Sarita as Taylor Wilde is visibly distraught and asking the referee to do something. Senior Referee Earl Hebner tells Taylor that the Spike is metal - therefore it is legal! Del Rey is now back in the ring and clotheslines Wilde from behind, grabbing her up and hitting the Spike Piledriver! Del Rey covers Wilde:

Tale of the Tape:

All four women have traded victories over the past few weeks
Will the tension within The Beautiful People effect Angelina?
Two former Knockouts Champion, the current Champion and a veteran with everything to prove collide - the odds are against Alissa Flash

Angelina Love is out first alongside the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne. Angelina signals to her partners to head back to the locker room as she will be doing it solo tonight! Tara is out next, who giver her tag partner Christy Hemme her pet tarantula Poison to hold as she too heads back towards the locker room. The third and final challenger, Mickie James is out next to a big pop. Lastly, the Knockouts Champion, 'Living Legend' Alissa Flash makes her way down towards the ring, clutching her prized Knockouts Championship tightly as she does so.

The bell rings and immediately Tara goes after Angelina Love as Alissa Flash is again left to deal with Mickie James who has arguably been the biggest threat to Flash's Title reign since it began in February.

James and Flash end up fighting to the outside of the ring leaving Tara and Love to go back and forth inside the ring with a sequence of chain wrestling and back and forth action. Flash gets back in the ring in time to break up a pin attempt by Tara resulting in Tara and Flash getting into a brawl. Mickie joins the rest of the competitors in the ring and turns her attention to a less-familiar opponent in Angelina Love. Mickie James hits a quick Mick-Kick out of nowhere and pins Love:

No!! Tara breaks up the attempt!

Mickie James gets up and into Tara's face as Mike Tenay reminds us of the tension we saw just 24 hours ago. Alissa Flash seems to be resting in the corner, smirking as the rest of the Knockouts go at it! Mickie and Tara take a tumble through the ropes as Flash quickly attempts to pin Love who is still down:

No! Angelina kicks out.

Mickie and Tara are back in the ring and Flash pushes Mickie into Tara, knocking her down. Flash tries to escape the ring but Mickie grabs her, Irish Whipping her into the turnbuckle. Mickie charges but cops a boot by Flash who rolls out of the ring. Meanwhile, Tara has been battling Angelina Love with Love getting the advantage - calling for an unlikely ally in Mickie James in setting Tara up on the top rope! Tara fights off Mickie as Angelina and Tara both attempt and block each other's suplex from the top. Eventually Mickie gets back up and helps Angelina set up a double suplex as Flash crawls back in, powerbombing both James and Love as they take Tara with them in a suplex!!!

Alissa Flash realizes she needs to end the match as quickly as possible so attempts a pin on Mickie who kicks out. Flash then covers Love who also manages to kick out. The Knockouts Champion then covers Tara however Angelina manages to break up the pinfall.

Flash begins laying into Angelina. Angelina manages to roll out of the ring as Tara enters, spinning Flash around and connecting with a huge slap! Flash is dazed but still standing as Tara hits the spinning sidewalk slam, scoring a near-fall. Mickie is in and rolls Tara up for another near-fall before Flash clotheslines her over the rope to the outside. Angelina and Mickie then go at it as Flash hits a Northern Lights Suplex on Tara bridging into another nearfall. Flash punches the mat in frustration before hitting both Tara and Love with a baseball slide dropkick sending both Knockouts into the barricade. Flash gets back up and turns around and walks right into the Widow's Peak!

Tara has a bit of difficulty turning Flash over for the cover but eventually gets it done. Tara grabs the near leg as the referee begins to count:

No!!! Angelina Love breaks up the pin.

Angelina then hits Tara with the Bicycle Kick, and attempts a pin, using the ropes for extra leverage:

No!!! Mickie James now saves the match!

Mickie James gets Angelina up and plants her with the Mickie-DT! Before Mickie can make the cover however, Flash throws Mickie out of the ring looking to steal the victory by covering Love!

No! Mickie James manages to break up the pin in time! Flash kicks Mickie in the stomach and sets James up for the Michinoku Driver II - but Mickie reverses into a sunset flip!

No! Flash just manages to kick out at the last second, saving her Knockouts Championship!

Tara is back in the ring and attempts to clothesline Mickie who ducks, landing a Mick-Kick on Tara in the process! Angelina Love is also back in the hunt but also gets a Mick-Kick! Mickie James surveys the scene and decides she doesn't want to pin either Love or Tara - she wants to prove she can beat the Champion.

Mickie James gets Flash up and hits another Mickie-DT, and covers the Champion:

New Knockouts Champion Mickie James is joined in the ring by Lauren Brooke. Lauren asks Mickie how she feels, but before she can answer, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna and her Executive Assistant Miss Tessmacher make their way out to the ring, followed by TNA Executive Eric Bischoff.

Chyna gives Mickie a hug and congratulates her. Chyna takes the microphone and asks the crowd to give Mickie James a huge round of applause - which they happily do. Chyna says that she has a few announcements before Eric Bischoff provides her performance evaluation.

Firstly, Chyna says that Sarita has been taken to a local medical facility for treatment due to the horrendous shot with the Oblivion Spike during the Full Metal Mayhem match. Chyna says unfortunately she has no further update on her condition at this time.

Chyna also says that the Knockouts all absolutely killed it tonight in their matches and as a result of the great feedback over the past 6 months, she has managed to negotiate a historic first ever all-women's Pay-Per-View! Chyna explains that Knockouts Knockdown will take place in two months - on the last Sunday of August! Chyna suggests that next month's Victory Road Pay-Per-View will likely have huge implications as TNA heads into not only Knockouts Knockdown but towards Bound For Glory in October.

Chyna says that whether she is still managing the Knockouts Division come Bound For Glory or even Knockouts Knockdown remains to be seen however she says she has tried her hardest to show what talented, fierce and powerful female wrestlers look like and can do, given the chance. The crowd erupts into a "thank you Chyna" chant as Eric Bischoff surveys the Impact Zone.

Eric Bischoff says that after this reaction there is only one logical thing he can do... Bischoff extends his hand to Chyna who accepts the handshake. Eric Bischoff announces Chyna is here to stay as the Knockouts Commissioner!

Bischoff raises the arms of Chyna and Mickie James to end the segment.

TNA Impact! - Thursday, Week 1 July 2010

New TNA Knockouts Champion, Mickie James makes her way out to the ring for her Championship Celebration!

Mickie James says that she has finally done it - she has captured the TNA Knockouts Championship and proven she can overcome anything that any bully can throw at her. Mickie gets emotional when discussing holding a legitimate women's championship again and how grateful she is to be the representative of the greatest women's division in professional wrestling today!

The music of The Beautiful People hits and out comes Angelina Love, who was also involved in the Fatal Four-Way at Slammiversary, alongside her stablemates, the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne. The trio walk to the bottom of the ramp and grab a microphone.

Angelina tells Mickie James to hold up and says that she has been here all of five minutes, jumping on the popular thing. Angelina Love points out that she has been here for over 3 years and literally built the Knockouts Division. Love also reminds Mickie that she wasn't pinned last Sunday, therefore she should be first in line for a Knockouts Championship opportunity.

Mickie motions that she welcomes all challengers and looks to be a fighting champion and role model to the women watching.

Before anything can happen, the music of Scarlet Envy hits as Tara and Christy Hemme make their way out on stage.

Tara says that the peroxide must be affecting Angelina's memory as she reminds both Love and James that she was also not pinned last night, therefore she should also be in the Knockouts Championship picture.

Mickie James says she has no problems in defending her Championship in a Triple Threat Match...

Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way out to the ring, flanked by her Executive Assistant Miss Tessmacher. Chyna walks past Scarlet Envy and The Beautiful People, to join Mickie James in the ring.

Chyna says that although a Triple Threat match sounds like a great idea, she has other plans. Chyna says that the Knockouts Championship picture isn't the Title she is here to talk about tonight. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne grasp their Tag Titles tighter, assuming Chyna is talking about their Championships.

Chyna says that it has been too long since the Knockouts Tag Team Championships have been defended and that changes this week. Chyna says that Scarlet Envy are owed a Tag Title rematch due to The Beautiful People's shenanigans at Sacrifice. Therefore, this Saturday night on Knocked Out! The Beautiful People will defend against Scarlet Envy in our main event of the evening!

Tara and Christy welcome this announcement while The Beautiful People are not as thrilled...

The HBICs have requested a match to start building momentum following the loss to Ice Magic at Slammiversary

The relatively new tag team of Traci and Hamada looked to start climbing the ranks of the Knockouts Tag Team Division however the much more experienced team of Sirren and Maxxine were too much to overcome, with Maxxine getting the win over Traci.

Elsewhere backstage, the TNA Knockouts Champions The Beautiful People are in their throne room, with Madison Rayne this time sitting on a cardboard box beside Velvet Sky and Angelina Love.

Velvet asks Madison if she is worried about their Tag Team Championship defense coming up tonight. Angelina interjects and says that there is no need for Velvet to worry her pretty little head and Madison shouldn't worry her head either. Madison is unsure whether Angelina's remark was an insult or not so just ignores it. Angelina tells Velvet and Madison that as the leader of The Beautiful People she has once again come up with a plan to ensure their success.

Madison rolls her eyes as Velvet excitedly asks Angelina what the plan is. Angelina says that Velvet will be defending the titles with her tonight instead of Madison Rayne - just to make sure that they win. Velvet praises Angelina's plan as Madison gets up to her feet in protest.

Madison says that it is bullshit - that Angelina told Madison she would have Angelina's half of the Tag Titles for surrendering her Knockouts Championship opportunity to Angelina, at Slammiversary.

Angelina tells Madison to "calm down tiger" as she is just doing what is best for The Beautiful People. Angelina says that when Madison can start winning matches, then she can come back and dispute the point. Velvet motions that Angelina Love has a point. Madison huffs, throwing down the Tag Title onto the cardboard box and storming off. Angelina calls out after her asking her to bring them some drinks as they are feeling parched. Velvet calls Angelina a genius to end the segment...

Taylor Wilde's tag partner Sarita was seriously injured by Sara Del Rey at Slammiversary, using the Oblivion Spike

Taylor Wilde looked to get some revenge for Sarita's injury however the emotionally-charged underdog was unable to overcome the size and power advantage of Sara Del Rey.

The fans in the Impact Zone as well as Mike Tenay and Taz are desperate for someone to help! Just as Sara Del Rey goes to drive the Oblivion Spike into Taylor Wilde the lights go out in the Impact Zone...

When the lights return, Taylor Wilde has vanished and impaled on the end of the Oblivion Spike is a voodoo doll...

After the break, Lauren Brooke is standing by in the interview set with the new TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James.

Lauren congratulates Mickie on becoming Champion six nights ago at Slammiversary by pinning the former Champion, Alissa Flash in the Fatal Four-Way. Lauren asks Mickie if she has any comments following the fall out of her Championship Celebration from Impact this past Thursday night.

Mickie says that it's funny how the once cocky Alissa Flash is now nowhere to be seen after she got her ass handed to her. Mickie says that regardless of whether it's Flash, Tara, Angelina or any one else that steps up to her, Mickie intends to be a fighting Champion and will take on all comers. Off-screen we hear laughing as Daffney enters the set.

Daffney says that Alissa Flash was the best Knockouts Champion TNA has ever had and that Mickie got lucky at Slammiversary. Daffney says that Mickie's luck has run out as if she is serious about being a fighting Champion, how about giving her something she's never had - a Knockouts Championship shot?

Mickie James looks Daffney up and down as Daffney snarls at the Knockouts Champion. Mickie says that next week on Impact!, Daffney gets her shot!

Background:

The Beautiful People are the Knockouts Tag Team Champions

Tara and Angelina may have both come up short at Slammiversary in the Knockouts Championship Fatal Four-Way however both women have a chance at redemption tonight - for Angelina to retain the tag gold for her team; and for Tara, the chance to win it for the first time.

Mike Tenay points out that Madison Rayne is not accompanying her Beautiful People teammates for this title defense, speculating that Angelina inserting herself into this match and forcing Madison out is the reason.

A great back and forth match for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships between familiar opponents - showcasing women's tag team wrestling that is scarce to find elsewhere.

After the fiery redhead Christy Hemme gets the hot tag to the powerhouse Tara, Scarlet Envy begin building momentum and looking well in control of the match. Tara gets Angelina up and hits her with a devastating Widow's Peak!

Out of nowhere, Madison Rayne sprints down the ramp - Madison has obviously been watching the match closely and wants to ensure her team don't lose their Titles. Madison slides right into the ring with the Ugly Stick she has inherited from Beautiful People Alum Lacey Von Erich. Madison drives the nightstick right into the back of Tara's head, in plain sight of the referee who calls for the bell!

Madison grabs one of the Titles and storms out of the ring, leaving Velvet holding the other Tag Title and checking on Angelina who is seething!

Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way out to the ring, accompanied by her Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher.

Chyna says that she is here to provide some direction to the Knockouts Division as we head towards Victory Road. Chyna reminds us that Mickie James will be defending her Knockouts Championship tonight against Daffney. Chyna announces that the winner of this match will then go to Victory Road to face the winner of this week's Knocked Out! main event.

Chyna says that as neither Tara nor Angelina Love lost at Slammiversary, the two rivals will once again go head-to-head, this Saturday night where the winner will challenge the Knockouts Champion two weeks from this coming Sunday at Victory Road.

Furthermore, Chyna says that she hasn't forgotten about the Knockouts Tag Team Division either. Chyna explains that due to the fact both Tara and Angelina Love are integral parts of the Tag Division and are currently busy chasing the Knockouts Championship - the winning teams of the two Knockouts Tag matches at Slammiversary - Ice Magic and Oblivion will meet at Victory Road where the winner of that match will face the Knockouts Tag Team Champions at next month's historic Knockouts Knockdown Pay-Per-View!

Mickie James is the Knockouts Champion, defeating Daffney's ally Alissa Flash at Slammiversary

The unpredictable Daffney looked to avenge Alissa Flash's loss by pummeling Mickie James as soon as the bell rang. Daffney could be heard screaming that it is Mickie James' fault Flash isn't here anymore.

The Knockouts Champion managed to gain control of the match, as Daffney appeared to be preoccupied with her own thoughts rather than staying on top of Mickie James. Mickie manages to mount a flurry of offence and connects with a Mick Kick out of nowhere for the win!

Winner: and STILL TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James

The show opens with Sharmell and The Bitch Breakers in the middle of the ring.

Sharmell grabs a microphone and says that they are pissed off! She says that The Bitch Breakers are the most experienced and dominant team in all of Women's Wrestling and yet they are continually overlooked, left off the show or treated as a joke!

Sharmell says that the fact they weren't involved in a match at Slammiversary and now have to sit on the sidelines while the Knockouts Tag Team Championships are held hostage by The Beautiful People while Angelina goes after the Knockouts Championship and two other teams battle over the Number One Contendership at Victory Road is ridiculous!

Sharmell says she is grateful for Miss Tessmacher who allowed her to have this time to air her grievances since Chyna has been ignoring her requests! Sharmell says starting now The Bitch Breakers are getting back on track and going to start breaking some bitches - so who's first?

We cut to outside the Impact! Zone to see Knockouts Executive Assistant Miss Tessmacher appearing to be in the middle of an argument with ODB. The HBICs are all stood behind Miss Tessmacher childishly taunting ODB.

Miss Tessmacher has told ODB that Lacey has put in a formal complaint against ODB saying she is fearful for her personal safety. As a result she has no choice but to send ODB home while they investigate.

ODB kicks over a trash can in frustration as she steps away - seeing trash spill out she picks it up and tosses it at Lacey however she ducks behind Miss Tessmacher who ends up getting the food scraps and old coffee all over her!

Miss Tessmacher is furious as ODB runs away saying she isn't allowed to be here while the investigation is happening. Miss Tessmacher calls after her that if she is cleared to return next week she is going to pay! Maxxine and Sirren try to brush the trash off Miss Tessmacher as Lacey dry-heaves at the smell.

After the break, we see Ice Magic in their locker room which is filled with smoke and candles, with bones hanging from the ceiling. Taylor Wilde enters and says that she is here to warn Ice Magic about Oblivion. Taylor explains that Sarita is still recovering in hospital from their encounter with Oblivion and warns Ice Magic to be careful of the Oblivion Spike.

Winter thanks Taylor Wilde for her concern and assures her that they are in control - Roxxi produces two voodoo dolls, one resembling Sara Del Rey and the other resembling Awesome Kong. Winter grabs a blood-red pin and pierces both dolls in the stomach. Blood appears to pool on the dolls and slowly run down the fabric. Taylor looks extremely uncomfortable and backs out of frame as Winter laughs...

Elsewhere, Lauren Brooke is standing by in the interview set with one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Madison Rayne. Lauren says that it has been a rough few weeks for The Beautiful People with tensions running high. Lauren asks if Madison can provide any explanation for what we saw last week on Knocked Out!

Madison says that all of The Beautiful People are extremely passionate and sometimes that passion comes out as being egotistical or selfish. Lauren interrupts and says she can't help but notice every time Angelina returns from a hiatus she appears to be more arrogant and overbearing than usual - and it is usually Madison who cops her wrath...

Angelina Love and the other half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Velvet Sky enter the set and Angelina calls Lauren rude. Angelina says that Lauren is always trying to stir up drama as she needs something to help fill up her pathetic empty life. Angelina reassures Lauren that The Beautiful People are equals and they are one big happy family. Angelina throws her arm around Madison's neck and grasps her tight.

Angelina says that she just wants what's best for her girls, and after tonight she will have a Knockouts Championship shot at Victory Road to look forward to and knows she can count on Velvet and Madison's support. Madison manages a small smile as Velvet initiates a group hug.

Background:

This match was requested by Traci Brooks after her team's loss against HBICs last week

The 'Head Bitch in Charge' of the HBICs - 'The Lovely' Lacey perhaps didn't take the International Star, Hamada as seriously as she should have - with Hamada controlling most of the early part of the match. Eventually, the numbers of the HBICs provided a distraction when Sirren and Maxxine rammed Traci into the Steel Stairs at ringside, allowing Lacey roll up Hamada for the win.

Winner: 'The Lovely' Lacey

Finish: Roll-up, following outside distraction

We return to the interview set where SoCal Val is standing by with the Knockouts Champion Mickie James. Val asks Mickie if she has a preference for her Victory Road opponent - Tara or Angelina Love.

Mickie James says she has no preference as both would provide her a great challenge to look forward to. Mickie says that The Beautiful People's underhanded tactics would add a layer of difficulty if Angelina was to win however she reminds everyone that she overcame everything Alissa Flash threw at her.

Mickie reveals she has been told that Chyna has banned Christy Hemme as well as Velvet and Madison from ringside so anticipates this will be a great, fair match-up.

Background:

The winner of this match will face Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship at Victory Road

These two Knockouts are very familiar with each other, having feuded over the past year - including battling each other for the Knockouts Championship.

It was hard to tell who was more determined and who wanted the opportunity to face Mickie James more! Despite being banned from ringside, The Knockouts Tag Team Champions were able to still cause havoc when Velvet hijacked a camera backstage and filmed Madison beating down Christy Hemme! This was broadcast into the Impact! Zone on the screens causing Tara distress!

Christy manages to scream through the pain telling Tara to focus on the match and not to throw it to save her!

The match continues, with Tara fighting with a renewed passion. Eventually both Knockouts end up exchanging blows on the top rope - and both take a nasty spill to the outside! It appears Tara has hit her head on the steel steps and Angelina also colliding hard with the apron on the way down.

Senior Referee Earl Hebner begins his count and neither Knockout are able to make it back before the 10!

Winner: DRAW

After the announcement, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way out onto the stage. Chyna says that this is an unexpected result as she tried everything to ensure we would have a decisive winner.

Chyna says that The Beautiful People's tactics cannot go unpunished, so since Scarlet Envy and The Beautiful People seem to be unable to separate the Tag Titles from the Knockouts Title, in 2 weeks from tomorrow at Victory Road, the Championships will be entwined when Mickie James teams up with Tara and Christy Hemme to take on all 3 members of The Beautiful People will all the gold on the line!

This match was made after The Beautiful People's beat down of Christy during the Number One Contender match on Knocked Out!

Even with all of the recent issues within The Beautiful People, they were able to show that they are once again on the same page as Angelina Love got into a confrontation with Tara at ringside, allowing Velvet to hit Christy with The Ugly Stick, helping Madison Rayne to pick up the win.

Winner: Madison Rayne

Just caught up with this, and I liked how the finishes of Sacrifice was addressed on the following show. I thought it must be for a storyline purpose as I read it, but it probably wouldn't have been as noticable within the context of the full PPV. Really liked how you worked Eric, and in turn Tessmacher into the storyline. That segment worked really well, and set the scene for the build to Slammiversary. Really like the Brooke/Chyna dynamic too.

Enjoying the booking of Winter too, I can see her being a big star in the company. Her bringing back Roxxi was another example of good you are at making sure everybody has "something". Angelina Love is another favourite of mine, she's so detestable <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The build to Slammiversary definitely stepped up the heat on the various rivalries. The go-home show got me really excited for the PPV.

Working the metal spike into the Full Metal Mayhem was cool, good way to set up the finish. Ice Magic are another great addition to the tag team division. Loved the action in the Knockouts title match, read as though it would be a classic, with the fast-paced action. The finish worked really well and put over Mickie in a big way. She was always destined to take the title I think, but this was a nice way to do it. In terms of overness and ability, she's going to be great for the division!

Just caught up with this, and I liked how the finishes of Sacrifice was addressed on the following show. I thought it must be for a storyline purpose as I read it, but it probably wouldn't have been as noticable within the context of the full PPV. Really liked how you worked Eric, and in turn Tessmacher into the storyline. That segment worked really well, and set the scene for the build to Slammiversary. Really like the Brooke/Chyna dynamic too.

Thanks! Something I've tried to avoid is storylines just 'ending' at a PPV so thought it was a great way to achieve the results I wanted for the PPV as well as provide a catalyst to continue them forward.

I added Brooke as I want to build her up and thought this was a great way (mirroring real life) to do it and gives something for Chyna to do as well.

Enjoying the booking of Winter too, I can see her being a big star in the company. Her bringing back Roxxi was another example of good you are at making sure everybody has "something". Angelina Love is another favourite of mine, she's so detestable

Winter is such an interesting character and I wanted to keep true to that without taking the path TNA took. She bounced around for a bit as I originally wanted her to be a mysterious tweener however when the Roxxi pairing came to me I thought it made sense and would work well.

Angelina is actually one of my favourite characters to write for. She is so egotistical with little redeeming qualities and I felt that she was always driving even her own allies away with these traits. TNA loved to continually have TBP break up etc so I am pulling on this. I hope you enjoy what is to come.

The build to Slammiversary definitely stepped up the heat on the various rivalries. The go-home show got me really excited for the PPV.

The Oblivion Spike spot came to me out of nowhere and thought it was a great storyline aspect to the stipulation.

As you know, building up a credible tag division was a goal so am continuing that - as well as getting ODB away from Roxxi who in the mod was on a much lower level than ODB.

Mickie was of course always going to be Champion and the one to topple Flash - as much as I would have loved Flash to rule over everyone for years to come

Mickie definitely helped give star power and additional talent to the roster -again continuing to weave some real life events into the fray. She has been great for the segment ratings too.

I finally felt I had a strong enough division to have a crack at the Knockouts Only PPV - hopefully I don't disappoint. I'm aiming for a nice balance between WWE's Evolution PPV and TNA's Knockouts Knockdown events in real life - some big storylines and matches, interesting stipulations and other multi person matches to get everyone on the show.

I guess I strategically placed this before Bound For Glory to help with the road to the biggest show feeling special for the Knockouts - hoping to have some exciting things and twists leading into BFG.

Background:

ODB has been feuding with Lacey and the HBICs for months
Traci and Hamada have been on the losing end of encounters with the HBICs recently
Executive Assistant to the Knockouts Commissioner, Miss Tessmacher made this match after ODB accidentally covered her in trash

The babyface team were unable to overcome the antics of the HBICs - coupled with the unpredictability of Daffney.

With Daffney distracting the referee and Taylor Wilde, the Lacey and Maxxine hit a Backstabber/Codebreaker combination on the legal participant - ODB. With Sirren keeping Hamada and Traci occupied, Lacey was able to pin her rival for the win!

Winners: Daffney & HBICs

Finish: Pinfall, following the Backstabber/Codebreaker double team

Lauren Brooke is standing by with The Beautiful People. Lauren says that she assumes Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne, being the Knockouts Tag Team Champions will be the ones competing tonight against Tara and Knockouts Champion Mickie James.

Angelina Love interrupts and tells Lauren that assuming just makes an ass out of you. Velvet tells Lauren to beat it as Angelina tells her stablemates her plan.

Angelina explains that the ditzy blonde has a point - that it would make sense for the most successful duo, the Tag Champions to compete tonight. Madison nods her head in agreement and holds out her hand to Velvet. Angelina looks confused as she extends her arm. Velvet is silent as Madison realizes Angelina isn't pointing at her. Velvet nudges to Madison that Angelina is waiting for Madison to give her the Tag Title.

Angelina reminds Madison that she is the rightful Tag Champion and Madison has just been subbing in when needed. Velvet pats Madison on the back reassuringly as Madison's head falls, handing Angelina the Title Belt. Angelina says that she knows she can come across as a bitch sometimes but it is better to have the bitch with her best interests at heart. Angelina reminds her that one week from tomorrow at Victory Road, Angelina Love will win the Knockouts Championship and therefore the Tag Title will be all Madison's.

The usual mind games and intimidating supernatural presence of both teams had no effect however it didn't stop both Roxxi Laveaux or Sara Del Rey chanting, praying or casting spells during this match.

In her first encounter with the monster Kong, Winter put up a great fight however was unable to overcome the most destructive Knockout in TNA.

Winner: Awesome Kong

Post-match, Oblivion surrounds Winter in the ring, Oblivion Spike and Oblivion Prophecy in hand. Sara Del Rey continues chanting as Roxxi grabs a steel chair and enters the ring, chasing off the imposing team.

Roxxi then pulls out a Voodoo Doll which resembles Kong and spikes her in the stomach, causing Kong to double over in pain. Sara Del Rey is concerned and checks on Kong as Kong gestures for her to get the doll. As Del Rey charges back into the ring the lights in the Impact! Zone go out. When they return, Del Rey is standing in the ring alone...

Back from commercial and we see Miss Tessmacher speaking to ODB outside the Impact! Zone. They are mid-conversation but we hear Miss Tessmacher telling ODB that there are no hard feelings for the accident last week. Miss Tessmacher appears to gesture to someone out of shot behind ODB and from out of nowhere the HBICs appear, beating down ODB. Miss Tessmacher doesn't get physical herself but taunts ODB as the HBICs lift ODB up and throw her into the dumpster!

Lacey screams at ODB, hitting the side of the dumpster as she does - telling ODB they dumped her in the trash because she is trash! Miss Tessmacher and the HBICs laugh and walk back inside the Impact! Zone.

Lauren asks Tara and Mickie for any thoughts just moments before their encounter with The Beautiful People. Tara tells Mickie that she has known Mickie for a long time and she respects her. Therefore, in a sign of respect, Tara provides Mickie warning that after Victory Road - where Scarlet Envy will help Mickie retain her Knockouts Championship by winning the Tag Team Championships - Tara is coming for Mickie's Knockouts Championship.

Mickie says that she appreciates Tara being honest and saying this to her face. Mickie agrees that Scarlet Envy will become the Knockouts Tag Team Champions at Victory Road, but assures Tara she will never be a dual-Champion. Just as the match is about to begin, the music of Mickie James is heard throughout the Impact Zone and the Champion joins the commentary booth. During the match, Mickie confirms that she doesn't feel the need to get involved if The Beautiful People try their usual antics against Christy. Taz suggests Mickie might be concerned about Tara coming after her Knockouts Championship if they win on Sunday. Mickie corrects Taz - when they win on Sunday. Mickie assures Taz she isn't scared of Tara as she knows her very well - she is simply wanting to rest up before Sunday. Sojo Bolt was no match for a former Knockouts Champion, let alone a former Champion who has been humiliated by the HBICs. ODB used Sojo Bolt as a punching bag, taking out months of frustration at the hands of the HBICs.

This one-sided match-up was over in a couple of minutes thanks to the rough and tumble offense of ODB.

Winner: ODB in dominating fashion

Finish: Pinfall, following the BAM!

Post-match, ODB stands tall in the ring, as the HBICs appear on the big screen. The HBICs are clearly not in the Impact Zone. Lacey gets ODB's attention and lets everyone know that they are in some back end part of Minnesota where people have no money or deodorant. Lacey shows us they are inside a Trailer Park and point out ODB's Trailer. Lacey suggests she knows it's ODB as she can smell it.

Lacey says that she tried to do the sisterly thing by helping ODB drop the dead weight holding her back and take her to the next level but she continually showed how trash she is. Lacey says that last week, tossing ODB into the dumpster gave her the idea to see what kind of dumpster ODB lives in when she isn't sleeping in the gutter outside the Impact Zone.

In the ring ODB is yelling at the screen, telling the HBICs to get away from her home. HBICs obviously can't hear ODB, so continue to verbally run down ODB's residence. The HBICs break into the Trailer and show us empty alcohol bottles strewn inside, as is lingerie - with Sirren gesturing the smell of ODB's panties are making her sick. Maxxine sees a family picture and smashes it to the ground as Lacey grabs a couple of beers from the fridge and sprays them all over the inside of the residence.

ODB is pacing live a rabid animal inside the ring however knows she is powerless to stop the malevolent trio, as they step back outside of the Trailer. Maxxine hands Lacey a sledgehammer, as Maxxine and Sirren both have axes. Lacey raises the sledgehammer and as she is about to hit the trailer, she stops - and informs ODB that she just remembered! Her good friend Miss Tessmacher has signed a match for tomorrow night's Victory Road Pay-Per-View - Lacey verses ODB in a Trailer Park Throwdown match - which means ODB has 24 hours to hitchhike her trashy-ass all the way back to Minnesota or her Trailer will be completely destroyed! Lacey ends the video by smashing the sledgehammer into the side of the trailer...

Background:

Before the match could commence - the referee sent both Kong and Winter to the back, having seen what chaos has occurred over the past few weeks between these two teams.

During the match - Sara Del Rey gestured for the Oblivion Spike however Taylor Wilde came running down to ringside - having seen the damage it caused her tag team partner Sarita, at Slammiversary. Taylor wrestles the spike out of the hands of Del Rey as Roxxi picks it up and instinctually drives it into the back of the head of Sara Del Rey - as the referee calls for the bell!

Winner: Sara Del Rey

Finish: Disqualification, following the use of a foreign object

The music of Knockouts Commissioner Chyna hits and she makes her way out on stage, with her appointed Executive Assistant Miss Tessmacher. Chyna calls for order before Kong or Winter can react to the end of the match. Chyna says that if Ice Magic and Oblivion want to act like barbaric animals - then they will be treated as such. Therefore, tomorrow night at Victory Road, the match between the two teams to determine the next challenger for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships will be a Monsters Ball Match!

We return from commercial to the Throne Room of The Beautiful People. Angelina Love is getting ready for her non-title match against Knockouts Champion Mickie James. Angelina Love stretches and winces in pain. Velvet is concerned and asks Angelina if she is ok. Angelina tells her she isn't sure - she has some pain down her arm. Madison steps in and tells Angelina that she will take her place and face Mickie James. Madison walks off as Angelina smirks - revealing she was faking the injury. Angelina tells Velvet that there is no way Madison will be able to beat Mickie James but she sure as hell isn't getting beat up so close to the Pay-Per-View. Angelina and Velvet grab the Tag Titles and also exit the scene...

Mickie James was doing it alone with no sign of Scarlet Envy to counter the antics of The Beautiful People. Uncharacteristically, neither Angelina Love nor Velvet Sky even attempted to interfere in this match - although Mickie James was vigilant.

A great back-and-forth match-up between the two Knockouts. Eventually, the Knockouts Champion made a rare error of judgement after Madison ducked a Mick-Kick attempt - with Madison rolling up the Champion for the upset win just 24 hours ahead of Victory Road!

Winner: Madison Rayne

The music of Scarlet Envy hits as Christy Hemme charges down the ramp to the ring to help the Knockouts Champion. Tara isn't in such a hurry, standing at the top of the ramp surveying the situation. It isn't until The Beautiful People triple team Christy, that Tara enters the ring to even the odds.

Eventually, the babyface team clear the ring, with The Beautiful People retreating up the ramp with the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Mickie James raises her Knockouts Championship above her head as Tara stares at her...

Trailer Park Throwdown:

'The Lovely' Lacey [vs] 'One Dirty Bitch' ODB

The Lovely Lacey and the HBICs have spent the last several months tormenting ODB, and causing tension with ODB's then-partner, Roxxi Laveaux. After trying to convince ODB that Roxxi was dead weight, the HBICs showed their vicious ways - ruthlessly injuring Roxxi to send a message to ODB - a message which was received by Roxxi as ODB not willing or able to have her partners back - and perhaps buying in to what the HBICs were selling.

With Roxxi on the shelf, ODB found an unlikely ally in the form of the mysterious Winter, who helped ODB fend off the HBICs. When a 2-on-3 handicap match was made, Winter revealed her true intentions - bringing Roxxi back from injury months earlier than expected thanks to her alternative healing methods.

The Roxxi whom returned however was not the same Knockout who was injured and left feeling powerless, weak and alone. Roxxi had returned to her Voodoo roots - either by choice or perhaps a byproduct of Winter's magic. Regardless, the HBICs came up short in what became a 3-on-3 tag match. Perhaps the real story from that match was Roxxi Laveaux's cold shoulder towards her former partner...

At Slammiversary, ODB made her presence known in a last-ditch attempt to show support for Roxxi Laveaux - by running down to ringside and taking out Lacey, evening the odds for Ice Magic against Maxxine and Sirren.

The following week on Knocked Out! ODB sent a message to the 'hoe bitches in charge' making it clear she is going to continue to come after Lacey. Fearing her personal safety, Lacey put in a formal complaint with TNA Management, resulting in Knockouts Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher banning ODB from the Impact! Zone. ODB kicked over a trashcan in frustration, giving her the idea to toss the garbage at the HBICs. Unfortunately for ODB, Miss Tessmacher got caught in the crossfire.

After several encounters with The HBICs, the team of 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks & Hamada, teamed with Taylor Wilde and ODB to take on The HBICs & Daffney. The malevolent tactics of The HBICs were on full display, allowing Lacey to pin her longtime rival ODB to win the match. Later that night, it appeared as if Miss Tessmacher had helped The HBICs ambush ODB - tossing her into a dumpster, as according to Lacey ODB is trash.

This past week on Knocked Out!, following ODB's victory over Sojo Bolt The HBICs appeared on the screen live from ODB's Trailer Park where they proceeded to trash it, with Lacey laying down the challenge to ODB for a Trailer Park Throwdown match, held inside the Trailer Park.

Will ODB get a measure of revenge over Lacey and The HBICs and give them their comeuppance or will Lacey be able to throwdown the One Dirty Bitch herself, inside the Trailer Park?

Monster's Ball:

Oblivion [vs] Ice Magic

Oblivion had been warning Knockouts Commissioner Chyna for months that there was no stopping the Oblivion Prophecy and that total destruction would fall upon the Knockouts Division. Despite their threats, Chyna seemingly overlooked the menacing team for Tag Team Championship opportunities.

After destroying Sarita and Taylor Wilde during their match at Sacrifice, Oblivion entered a violent feud with the inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions, injuring Sarita during a Full Metal Mayhem encounter at Slammiversary with the Oblivion Spike. At the same event, Ice Magic defeated rivals HBICs.

The following week, when Taylor Wilde sought revenge for her injured partner, a voodoo doll mysteriously appeared, saving Wilde from the same fate as Sarita.

With the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The Beautiful People wrapped up in chasing the Knockouts Championship and their ongoing feud with Scarlet Envy, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna decided the two Knockout teams who were victorious at Slammiversary, Oblivion and Ice Magic will collide at Victory Road to determine the Number One Contenders for the Tag Titles at the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View, Knockouts Knockdown in August.

Continuing their path of destruction, it was The Bitch Breakers who unfortunately got in the way of Oblivion, losing in a short match. Meanwhile, Taylor Wilde attempted to warn Ice Magic about the dangerous Oblivion, knowing the damage they can cause first-hand.

In our first glimpse at what to expect at Victory Road, Awesome Kong defeated Winter in a first-time encounter with both partners using their supernatural powers to try and gain the upper-hand. Roxxi Laveaux's voodoo magic took out Kong after the match with Ice Magic getting a one-up with their mind games.

This past week saw the other teammates, Sara Del Rey and Roxxi Laveaux clash, in a match where the Oblivion Spike was brought out. Taylor Wilde was able to interfere and instinctually use the Spike on Del Rey, saving Roxxi! After this match, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna announced tonight's match would be a Knockouts Tag Team Monster's Ball match with both teams immediately placed into sensory deprivation - despite Del Rey still bleeding from the Oblivion Spike shot.

Both teams may thrive in the unorthodox Monsters Ball match - the second-ever for the Knockouts. But who will get the victory and climb one step closer to Tag Team Gold? Will Ice Magic's supernatural powers be enough to finally stop the Oblivion Prophecy or will the destruction warned about for months continue with Ice Magic being Oblivion's next victims?

TNA Knockouts Championship and TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship

Winners Take All:

Alissa Flash's reign atop the Knockouts Division came to an end at Slammiversary, with Mickie James becoming the new Knockouts Champion.

The following week on Impact!, Mickie's Championship Celebration was interrupted by Angelina Love and The Beautiful People who believed that she should be first in line for a Knockouts Championship opportunity, due to not being pinned at Slammiversary. Angelina's rival, Tara also interrupted with her Scarlet Envy partner Christy Hemme to make the same point. Mickie James suggested a Triple Threat Match however Knockouts Commissioner Chyna had other plans - instead making a Knockouts Tag Title Match between Scarlet Envy and The Beautiful People.

Angelina Love decided that despite giving up her Knockouts Championship opportunity for her, Love was going to take back her place as Tag Champion to defend against Scarlet Envy with Angelina highlighting her stablemates recent losing streak. During the match, it was in fact Madison Rayne who helped The Beautiful People retain their Championships causing a disqualification after Angelina fell to a Widow's Peak. Post-match, we saw emotions bubble over with a furious Madison Rayne unhappy with Angelina's treatment of her.

The Beautiful People attempted to downplay the drama the next week when a Number One Contender's match between Angelina Love and Tara is scheduled. This match ends in a double count-out, resulting in the Winners Take All match being announced. Meanwhile, Mickie James cemented her place as Champion, successfully defending against Alissa Flash's ally, Daffney on Impact!

The next week saw The Beautiful People once again on the same-page, assisting Madison Rayne to defeat Christy Hemme. Despite this, Angelina once again chooses to sit Madison out of an upcoming tag match. Meanwhile, Tara made her intentions clear to Mickie James - that she won't be satisfied with just the Tag Title - she is coming for the Knockouts Title.

During the tag encounter, Madison's interference backfires, resulting in Angelina Love being pinned by Mickie James.

This past week on Impact!, the tension within The Beautiful People was getting harder to ignore, with Angelina and Madison fighting over who should carry the Tag Titles. For the second week in a row, The Beautiful People were on the losing end due to outside interference backfiring, with Velvet Sky losing to Christy Hemme. Mickie James bided her time on commentary, not coming to assist Tara until The Beautiful People attacked Christy Hemme...

Meanwhile, on Knocked Out! It appeared that Angelina Love was faking an injury to get out of facing Mickie James in a non-title match, so close to the Pay-Per-View encounter. Madison Rayne stepped up to the plate and despite no effort to interfere by Angelina or Velvet at ringside, Madison Rayne picked up the upset victory over the Knockouts Champion - much to Angelina's chagrin!

A furious Angelina led an attack on Mickie James and it was Christy returning the favor, saving Mickie with a begrudging Tara in tow - not in any hurry to save the Knockouts Champion...

Six Knockouts collide in a match with all the gold on the line. There has been tension between both teams but which team will be unified enough to ensure victory? Will Scarlet Envy win the Tag Titles and in the process assist Mickie James to retain her Knockouts Championship? Or, will Angelina Love capture the Knockouts Championship again, giving The Beautiful People all the gold?

Mike Tenay reminds us that ODB had to hitchhike back to Minnesota immediately after last night's Knocked Out! at the Impact! Zone in Florida to make it in time for the throwdown. Taz explains that there are no rules for this match, except one person has to quit when they've had enough, resulting in the other person being declared the winner. ODB calls out for the "hoe bitches in charge" but there is no sign of Lacey or the HBICs. We follow ODB around the Trailer as she surveys the damage caused last night by her opponent. We shadow ODB inside and from nowhere, Maxxine and Sirren appear, double teaming ODB! ODB tosses Maxxine across the Trailer and rams Sirren into the wall. ODB grabs a bottle of booze and pours it over Sirren, taking a mouthful or two for herself. ODB sees a bottle of chilli sauce on the bench and squirts it onto Maxxine's face and rubs it into her eyes! ODB rubs the excess over her chest. ODB staggers outside and grabs a key out of her panties. ODB locks the HBICs inside the Trailer! ODB takes a breath and calls out to "The Lazy Lacey". Lacey finally announces herself, and we see she is on top of the Trailer! Lacey leaps off hitting a crossbody onto ODB. Lacey gets a few kicks in before hearing the HBICs calling out from inside the Trailer. Lacey tries to get the lock undone before realizing she needs a key. Lacey searches in the dirt and as she does, ODB smashes a wooden crate over her back. ODB grabs Lacey and rubs her face into ODB's chill sauce-covered chest, with Lacey screaming out in pain! ODB grabs a garden hose and sprays Lacey with water before wrapping the hose around her neck and begin to choke her! Lacey frantically tries to kick and claw ODB and manages to flail enough to get out of the submission. ODB tries to catch her breath - walking over to the next residence, where a kid's playhouse is positioned. Lacey runs at ODB who powerslams Lacey through the playhouse! Maxxine and Sirren run in, and beat down ODB again - having broken through a window to escape the trailer. The HBICs toss ODB into the side of her Trailer as we see Lacey staggering over to the pick-up truck which transported ODB. Lacey pulls the driver out and low blows him. Lacey then jumps inside and lines up ODB who is being held in front of her trailer by the HBICs. Lacey accelerates at full speed, with ODB managing to escape at the last second as the Maxxine also get out of the way - the truck crashes straight into ODB's trailer with a bang. After the smoke clears we see that Sirren didn't make it safely out of the path of Lacey, with the truck clipping her leg. We see Sirren on the ground in agony. Maxxine tries to check on Lacey as ODB hits her over the back with a fire extinguisher! ODB dowses the truck - and Lacey - with the extinguisher. ODB uses the wreckage of the vehicle to climb up on top of the trailer and tells Lacey to join her! Lacey is bloodied from the collision but manages to slowly make her way up on top of the trailer. The two Knockouts exchange blows on top before ODB spears Lacey down. ODB dangles Lacey head first off the top but it's not enough for Lacey to quit! Lacey fights back and manages to suplex ODB on the roof! Lacey yells at ODB to quit however ODB does a kip-up. ODB slaps Lacey across the face before hoisting her up, teasing a fallaway slam which would see Lacey tossed over the side. Lacey is pleading with ODB but refusing to quit. ODB readies herself for the slam and at the last moment Lacey tells ODB she surrenders! She quits! Mike Tenay reiterates that ODB has won the match! ODB surveys the damage to her home and decides to follow through with the fallaway slam anyway! The camera doesn't see the fall but we see Lacey disappear over the back of the trailer, assuming to fall to the ground below with a thud. ODB pulls out her flask. Sits down on what is left of her home, wipes her face and takes a drink. 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux appears to be muttering to herself otherwise herself and 'The Wicked' Winter don't look too bad from their deprivation. Oblivion are out next and Awesome Kong is looking savage! She is swiping at fans on the way down the ramp! Sara Del Rey is trying her best to control her, while clutching her Oblivion Prophecy book, as well as the Oblivion Spike which took out Sarita at Slammiversary. The bell rings and immediately a four way brawl erupts. Eventually Del Rey and Roxxi are left in the ring while Kong and Winter exchange blows on the outside. It's not long before Ice Magic realize they need to use the fact weapons are legal to their advantage if they want to take down who Taz calls the most dominate female tag team of all time. Winter pulls out a kendo stick and uses it to even the odds against Kong while Roxxi and Del Rey go back and forth in the ring. Winter eventually breaks the kendo stick and stumbles upon a barbed wire covered table underneath the ring. Winter sets the table up in the ring before Del Rey pummels her from behind. Del Rey and Kong double team Winter until Roxxi Laveaux takes the knee of Kong out with a chop block. More back and forth action ensues before Del Rey signals she is going to end the match using the Oblivion Spike! The music of Sarita and Taylor Wilde hit as the inaugural Tag Team Champions run down to the ring - with Sarita sporting a mask in her return. Sarita wrestles the spike out of Del Rey's hand and once again she gets it used on her for the second night in a row! Del Rey collapses, screaming in agony as her hair turns scarlet. Referees order Sarita and Taylor Wilde out of the ring as Kong is furious. Kong looks at Sara Del Rey and appears unsteady! We are reminded of Kong's fear of blood. Behind her, Roxxi is waiting on the top rope and dives onto Kong with a crossbody! The powerful Kong however catches Roxxi and picks her up, slamming her through the barbed wire table! The crowd chant "holy shit" as Winter rolls in the ring to check on Roxxi. Unfortunately for her, Kong has no empathy and grabs Winter up by the hair. Winter sprays Kong in the face with some kind of ice blue mist which causes Kong to collapse to her knees, frantically wiping her eyes. We see medical staff attending to both Sara Del Rey and Roxxi Laveaux separately and we get a good look at how cut up Roxxi's skin is. Winter drops Kong with a short arm DDT and covers her 1... 2... No! Kong powers out! Kong slowly gets up to her feet and appears to still be blinded by the mist, randomly swinging her fists in every direction. Winter gestures and the lights in the Impact! Zone go out. When they come back on, the center of the ring is filled with thumbtacks! Winter dropkicks Kong into the corner and climbs the turnbuckle behind her. Kong is still swinging at thin air before Winter grabs Kong's braids, still perched on the top rope. Finally knowing Winter's whereabouts, Kong takes advantage, reversing what looked to be a diving top rope stunner by holding onto the rope, sending Winter crashing into the thumbtacks! Kong then violent grabs Winter up by her hair and delivers a devastating Impact Buster into the thumbtacks. When Kong rolls Winter over we see tacks in her hair, face and all down her front. Kong covers Winter 1... 2... 3!!! One of her partners tonight - Tara - looks less than impressed with Mickie as she enters the ring. The Beautiful People seem to be disagreeing with who should start the match however Madison eventually allows Angelina to start the match, while Tara insists Mickie James starts. The bell rings and Angelina immediately tags in Madison Rayne with a slap to the chest. Madison Rayne enters and Mickie James immediately takes her down with a Thez Press. Mike Tenay reminds us Madison Rayne owns a clean pinfall victory over Mickie James from last night's Knocked Out! After some back and forth, Tara blindly tags herself in, resulting in an argument with Mickie James. This allows Madison to tag in Velvet who runs in to a double elbow by the two veterans. Tara works over Velvet before tagging in her partner, Christy Hemme. Scarlet Envy perform a double suplex before Christy covers Velvet for a two count. Mickie James begins to shout instructions to the less experienced member of her team, with Tara beginning to shout over Mickie. Christy tries to get clarification and perhaps tell her partners to figure out what they're doing, allowing Velvet to roll up Christy for another two count. Velvet beats down Christy before tagging in Angelina Love. Angelina Love works over Christy before pointing at Mickie James - she wants to face the Knockouts Champion! Madison questions Angelina's choice however Love tells Rayne to pipe down. Christy tags in Mickie however Tara immediately tags herself in, taking down Love with a clothesline. The two rivals go back and forth with Tara eventually getting firm control of the match, continuing to build momentum. Velvet Sky goes over to the timekeeper area and gets a can which was hidden there, before returning to the apron. Madison snatches it out of Velvets hand and motions for her to get Tara closer to them. Tara begins walking towards them as Angelina Love charges from behind, Tara side-steps as Madison accidentally sprays Angelina in the face with the spray! Velvet asks why Madison did it and Madison frantically assures Velvet it was an accident. Velvet tags herself back in and enters the match and walks right into a sideslam by Tara. Christy signals she wants the tag but it is Mickie who tags Tara instead! Mickie hits Velvet with a Mick-Kick and covers her 1... 2... No! Madison Rayne breaks up the pin. Christy enters the ring and takes down Madison. The two get back to their feet and Christy shoves Madison into Angelina who is on the apron, sending her to the floor below. Christy then throws Madison out to the floor before the referee makes Christy also exit the ring. We see Angelina push Madison at ringside blaming her for everything that has gone wrong with The Beautiful People and says that they should have sent her back to the strip club like they did Lacey Von Erich. Madison steps up to Angelina and slaps her across the face! Meanwhile in the ring Mickie James has been gleefully watching the action as Velvet shouts at her teammates at ringside who are now brawling! Eventually Madison gets up and storms off back up the ramp, leaving Velvet and Angelina to finish the match. By this time, Mickie was close to her partners Tara and Christy, allowing Tara to once again tag herself in. Tara comes in and clotheslines Velvet Sky. Knockouts Commissioner, Chyna makes her way out to the ring, to a nice reaction by those in the Impact! Zone, with her Executive assistant Miss Tessmacher at her side.

Chyna says that she wants to thank the fans for the positive response to the three Knockouts matches which took place last Sunday at Victory Road. Chyna says speaking of roads, we are now officially on the road to the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View, Knockouts Knockdown happening three weeks from this coming Sunday.

Chyna says that she joined TNA due to having a chance to promote the great work that the Knockouts have done for the past 3 years, showing a national audience what women's wrestling truly can be. Chyna says it all comes full circle at Knockouts Knockdown as TNA will once again make history with the female talent.

Miss Tessmacher taps Chyna on the shoulder and gestures that Chyna needs to wrap it up. Chyna apologizes for going off track but highlights her passion for what is being created each and every week. Chyna informs the crowd that she is out here tonight to make two announcements - firstly that at Knockouts Knockdown, there will be the first ever Knockouts Feast or Fired Match. The participants will be determined by a series of qualifying matches happening over the coming weeks, with the first to occur this week on Knocked Out!.

Chyna continues: secondly, Mickie James has reportedly asked TNA Management to grant Tara a shot at her Knockouts Championship. Chyna says that she loves Mickie's determination to be a fighting Champion and so, Chyna grants Mickie's request, and that match happens right now!

The crowd were buzzing to see these two veterans collide on a platform where they can showcase their skills. Mike Tenay reminds us that if Tara is successful tonight she will be the first Knockout to hold the Tag Team and Knockouts Championship at the same time.

A fast-paced and very physical match occurs with neither Knockout having a clear advantage, with each trading control. Eventually, a returning Alissa Flash prematurely ended the match to a chorus of boos, sliding into the ring and beating down Mickie James.

Sarita returned from injury and immediately wanted revenge on the dominant team of Oblivion. Unfortunately for the inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions, the Number One Contenders were too much to overcome, with Awesome Kong decisively defeating Sarita with the Implant Buster.

Backstage, we are tracking Velvet Sky who is looking for someone. Velvet asks backstage staff if they have seen Madison Rayne. Velvet continues along and eventually finds Madison and gives her a hug - it's clear Madison is not her usual self.

Velvet tells Madison that Angelina has sent her. Velvet explains that it is entirely Madison's fault that The Beautiful People lost their Knockouts Tag Team Championships last Sunday at Victory Road, and the sole reason Angelina Love isn't Knockouts Champion. Madison attempts to object but Velvet continues.

Velvet tells Madison that she caused this and she needs to make it right - Angelina Love has a Feast or Fired Qualifying Match next and this is an extremely important matchup, and Angelina's opportunity to get back into the Knockouts Championship picture. Velvet orders Madison to make it right and don't mess it up, before walking away...

After the break, we see the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Scarlet Envy in the office of Knockouts Commissioner Chyna, who is alongside her Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher.

Tara is protesting her loss to Mickie James in the Knockouts Championship match from this past Thursday's Impact - due to the interference of the returning Alissa Flash. Tara says that she deserves a rematch at Knockouts Knockdown. Christy Hemme agrees as Miss Tessmacher rolls her eyes. Chyna acknowledges that what happened on Impact wasn't fair however Scarlet Envy already have a match booked for the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View. Chyna says that she doesn't think it would be fair on Tara to put her in another match after defending their Tag Titles against Oblivion.

Chyna says that they do need to figure out a challenger for Mickie James; therefore next week there will be a Number One Contender's match between Alissa Flash and ODB - where the winner will face Mickie James at Knockouts Knockdown.

The Original Knockout Traci Brooks was at ringside to support her friend Hamada, meanwhile Angelina Love's ringside supports looked anything but supportive.

Velvet spent the majority of the match screaming at Madison Rayne with Angelina Love belittling her at every chance she got. Eventually Madison walks away from Velvet, creating a clear distinction between the former Tag Champions.

In the ring, Angelina controlled much of the match-up, however when Hamada started to build momentum, Velvet Sky got into a catfight with Traci drawing the referee down to ringside. This was the perfect opportunity for Madison to assist Angelina, as she slides into the ring with the Ugly Stick, getting into Hamada's face. Angelina tells Madison to hit her - quickly! Madison raises the night stick however turns at the last second, taking down Angelina Love!

Madison jumps down out of the ring while Hamada looks stunned at what just happened. Velvet and Traci have been separated so the referee returns to the ring, to count Hamada's cover on Angelina for the win, with Velvet furiously realizing a double-cross has taken place.

Madison furiously gets back to her feet, the crowd inside the Impact! Zone cheering her on. She raises her hand to Velvet but decides against hitting her. Madison rolls out of the ring and marches up the ramp without looking back, while Velvet checks on Angelina who is pissed!

We return from commercial to Lauren Brooke standing by with the Knockouts Champion Mickie James. Lauren asks Mickie how she feels about Alissa Flash's return this past Thursday night, costing Tara her opportunity to be Knockouts Champion again.

Mickie James says that she is confident she would have retained her Championship over Tara anyway however says that Alissa Flash needs to learn respect and manners. Mickie James reminds us that she was the one to overthrow Flash and caused her to disappear for a month, licking her wounds and the massive hit her ego took. Mickie states that she wants to make it clear that she hopes ODB wins next week as in her opinion, Flash doesn't deserve another Championship opportunity...

Mike Tenay reminds us that Alissa Flash hasn't competed since Slammiversary where she lost her Knockouts Championship. Taz predicts that Christy Hemme's inexperience will be the deciding factor in Alissa Flash picking up the win tonight.

The larger and stronger Alissa Flash took control of the match early however Christy's tenacity and agility were on display, making a comeback. Flash eventually threw Christy Hemme to the outside, dumping her right in front of tag partner Tara.

The 'Living Legend' couldn't help but gloat to Tara about costing her the Knockouts Championship two nights ago. Tara's rage couldn't be contained any longer, with her striking Alissa Flash to cause the disqualification.

Enjoyed catching up with this again, as always the stories are building really well. One thing I've praised less is the presentation, but when I start reading from where I last left off, it's such a breeze to keep reading show after show. The "background" before each match is a simple thing that also adds a lot.

Really liked the unique set up of the Trailer Park Throwdown. The environment was used really well, and the truck going into the trailer leading into the final sequences was very good.

Kong's fear of blood is such a great part of her character, loved it coming back into play during the Monster's Ball.

Was really unsure which was the Winner Take All match would go, but definitely an interesting set up going into the build for Knockouts Knockdown.

Surprised to see Mickie vs. Tara on that first Impact, but it made sense to set up Flash's return, and builds intruige for later down the line. Madison finally turning was another big moment!

Feast or Fired seems like a good way to get people on the card, and I'm liking the beginning of the angle between what I assume will be Alissa Flash vs. Mickie James. Obviously, we'll find out on the next show, but definitely a good start to the build to the PPV!

Enjoyed catching up with this again, as always the stories are building really well. One thing I've praised less is the presentation, but when I start reading from where I last left off, it's such a breeze to keep reading show after show. The "background" before each match is a simple thing that also adds a lot.

Really liked the unique set up of the Trailer Park Throwdown. The environment was used really well, and the truck going into the trailer leading into the final sequences was very good.

Kong's fear of blood is such a great part of her character, loved it coming back into play during the Monster's Ball.

Was really unsure which was the Winner Take All match would go, but definitely an interesting set up going into the build for Knockouts Knockdown.

Surprised to see Mickie vs. Tara on that first Impact, but it made sense to set up Flash's return, and builds intruige for later down the line. Madison finally turning was another big moment!

The Original Knockout looked to join her partner Hamada at Knockouts Knockdown however a tough and unpredictable opponent stood in her way - Daffney.

Unfortunately for Ms. Brooks she was unable to punch her ticket to the event, succumbing to a Lobotomy to end a competitive match - meaning the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View looks to be without the 'Original Knockout'...

Winner: Daffney

Backstage we see Angelina Love and Velvet Sky in The Beautiful People's locker room. We see several boxes with Madison Rayne's name on them which has been crossed out and replaced with 'Skank' written in lipstick.

Angelina tells Velvet that she has requested a match against Madison Rayne for this week's Knocked Out!. Angelina says that Madison will regret ever screwing her out of a shot at the Knockouts Championship and although that remains her ultimate goal, she is taking a small detour to cleanse TNA of the ugliest person on the roster - Madison.

Velvet Sky has stood silently by, applying her makeup. Angelina asks if Velvet is listening. Velvet assures Angelina she is however says that she doesn't want to get involved in the drama. Angelina pulls Velvet by the shoulder to face her. Angelina grabs Velvet's face and reminds her that she is already involved and it is too late to be a fence sitter now. Angelina tells Velvet that she needs her help to get rid of Madison like they did to Lacey Von Erich.

Angelina picks up a lipstick and draws an 'X' on Velvet's forehead. Angelina tells Velvet that she is either with her or against her, and if she is against her then she will also be cleansed and scrubbed from TNA - and this would hurt Angelina way more than it would her Velvet. Angelina reminds Velvet that she wouldn't even be in TNA if it wasn't for her and if she wants to keep riding her coattails she needs to put in the work.

Angelina releases her grip of Velvet, licks her finger and rubs off some of the lipstick she put on Velvet's forehead. Angelina sarcastically tells Velvet her lipstick has smudged before leaving...

Mike Tenay points out we haven't seen much of Mercedes Martinez since arriving in TNA earlier this year however indicates that these two Knockouts know each other very well from before joining TNA.

A great competitive match, helped by the fact referee Slick Johnson sent the HBICs to the back after Maxxine distracted Mercedes. Despite an even playing field it was 'The Lovely' Lacey who was victorious and heading to Feast or Fired at Knockouts Knockdown, two weeks from tomorrow!

Winner: 'The Lovely' Lacey

Backstage, Madison Rayne has found Velvet Sky waiting for Angelina Love outside the trainer's room. Velvet tells Madison she needs to leave as Angelina will be done in the trainer's room any minute. Madison tells Velvet she just needs to speak to her before her match against Angelina. Madison asks Velvet to do the right thing tonight, and not be Angelina's lackey - to think for herself for once. Velvet looks down at the ground disheartened, before looking up at Madison with a smile. Velvet nods her head and promises to stay out of the match before hugging Madison. However we see Velvet's fingers are crossed behind her back...

Lauren asks Tara about the controversial ending to her Knockouts Championship match against Mickie James last week and being denied a rematch. Tara says that she understands that she is contracted to defend the Tag Titles at Knockouts Knockdown however wants to make it clear to Mickie James, ODB or Alissa Flash - whoever walks out with the Knockouts Championship, that Tara has not finished hunting...

Number One Contenders, Oblivion appear - sending Lauren running. Tara and Christy ready themselves for a fight as Kong and Del Rey size up their opponents - particularly focusing on Christy Hemme. Kong just laughs, dismissing the Champions as credible threats, before walking away...

Background:

There has been conflict brewing within The Beautiful People for months, with Angelina viewing Madison Rayne as the weak link

Former Beautiful People stablemates collide as the Queen Bee Angelina Love looks to teach the banished Madison Rayne a lesson.

Angelina takes control of the match early on as Velvet Sky watches on, not appearing to take either side. Angelina's trademark cockiness costs her control as Madison mounts a comeback.

A flurry of offense and a nearfall follows with Madison building momentum and confidence with each hit. Mike Tenay reminds us there has been months of bullying towards Madison Rayne - including Angelina never getting a third throne for their locker room. Taz defends Angelina saying there wasn't enough room for three chairs and they should have been given a bigger locker room.

Madison Rayne signals she is going to end the match and sets Angelina up for the Rayne Drop - as Velvet slides into the ring and attacks Madison Rayne from behind! Madison is clearly shocked as the bell rings, with Velvet hightailing it up the ramp with Angelina before Madison can process what happened...

Winner: Madison Rayne

Finish: Disqualification, following interference by Velvet Sky

Chyna announces that at the first ever all-women's Pay-Per-View, Knockouts Knockdown - Women's Tag Team wrestling will once again be highlighted as there will be a 4 Team Tournament. Miss Tessmacher interrupts and announces HBICs, Bitch Breakers, Ice Magic and Taylor Wilde and Sarita will compete with the winner getting a future Knockouts Tag Team Championship opportunity!

We return from commercial to Lauren Brooke standing by with Knockouts Champion, Mickie James.

Lauren reminds us we are just moments away from finding out who will be challenging Mickie for her Championship at Knockouts Knockdown. Lauren says there is one thing everyone wants to know - who would Mickie prefer to face: ODB or Alissa Flash?

Mickie says that she knows she can beat Flash, she has proved that before - but she has never got the chance to tie up with ODB. Lauren interrupts and asks if that means Mickie wants to face ODB. Mickie coyly replies that she didn't say that, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter who it will be as in two weeks, Mickie will once again make history. Mickie excuses herself and walks off, leaving Lauren confused as to where the Champion is heading...

Background:

The winner of this match will face Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship at Knockouts Knockdown
Both women are former Knockouts Champions - Alissa Flash won the Title from ODB before losing it to Mickie James

The two familiar foes size each other up in the ring as the music of Knockouts Champion, Mickie James blasts through the Impact! Zone. Mickie James joins the commentary team as our main event gets underway.

Mike Tenay reminds us of the history between Alissa Flash and ODB including a Last Knockout Standing match earlier this year. The 'Living Legend' takes control of the match early on before some back and forth - neither Knockout giving the other an inch.

It's not long before ODB takes control with her rough and tumble offense however a quick thinking Flash is once again able to regain control. Taz hypes up how competitive this match is and reminds us you won't see Women's Wrestling like this on any other nationally broadcast television show. Mickie concurs suggesting there are no divas here.

Flash gets frustrated that she hasn't been able to put away ODB yet and slides to the outside to psych herself up. This gives ODB a chance to recover - including getting a swig of liquid courage. Flash slides back into the ring and is bombarded by ODB's offence - a drop kick and then a fallaway slam. ODB then calls for the end of the match and hits the BAM! ODB makes the cover:

Flash slides her foot under the rope intending to break the count but referee Rudy Charles misses this and continues the count

Winner: and Number One Contender for the Knockouts Championship, ODB

Post-match, ODB celebrates finally getting back into the Knockouts Championship hunt, while Alissa Flash argues with the referee. Mickie James also makes her way down into the ring as ODB holds out her hand for Mickie to shake. Mickie pushes past ODB, ignoring her hand and also tells the referee that Flash's foot was under the rope. The referee says there is nothing he can do and exits the ring, away from a furious Flash.

Meanwhile, ODB has taken exception to Mickie James ignoring her handshake and spears the Knockouts Champion! ODB grabs the Knockouts Title and holds it in the air for a second before Alissa Flash hits ODB with a running boot! Alissa Flash grabs the Knockouts Title and looks at it, before angrily throwing it down to Mickie James and exiting the ring.

Taz remarks that regardless of the controversial finish, both the Champion and Challenger are laid out together, in the middle of the ring...
