Andras Miyagi defeated Death Yama-san in 11 minutes via pinfall in what was a very close contest between the two. Miyagi took advantage of Yama-san's slip when rebounding off the ropes, which set-up a Tombstone Piledriver for the finish. Andras Miyagi advances to the High Speed Championship Grand Prix Semi Final.

 

Hana Kimura, Rina & Ruaka of Tokyo Cyber Squad vs Hina, Leo Onozaki & Momo Watanabe of Queen's Quest.

Hina, Leo Onozaki & Momo Watanabe defeated Hana Kimura, Rina & Ruaka in 9 minutes via pinfall when Momo Watanabe pinned Rina after a Peach Sunrise. This match was mostly a showcase of Stardom rookies with 13-year-old twin sisters Rina & Hina and 15-year-old Ruaka involved, even Momo Watanabe is only 19-years-old. Hana Kimura tried her best and scored a couple of near falls, but ultimately she had the least experienced team and in the end it showed as Queen's Quest picked up the win.

 

Arisa Hoshiki & Tam Nakano of STARS vs Arisa Nakajima & Maya Yukihi of Ozaki-gun.

Arisa Nakajima & Maya Yukihi defeated Arisa Hoshiki & Tam Nakano in 15 minutes via pinfall when Arisa Nakajima pinned Arisa Hoshiki after a Cutie Special. The match was extremely close with both teams going back and fourth, you could see the animosity these teams had towards eachother from the get go. During the closing moments of the match Maya Yukihi cut Tam Nakano down from the ring apron from the outside and then returned to the ring to help Arisa Nakajima double team Arisa Hoshiki for the victory.

 

Angle:

Following their victory over Arisa Hoshiki & Tam Nakano, Arisa Nakajima & Maya Yukihi were joined in the ring by Ozaki-gun leader Mayumi Ozaki and the trio started their attack on the defeated STARS members. Until... World of Stardom Champion and STARS unit leader Mayu Iwatani rushed down to the ring to make the save! Iwatani hit Mayumi Ozaki with a ferocious Sling Blade while both Yukihi & Nakajima exited the ring swiftly, not wanting a piece of Mayu Iwatani.

 

Giulia, Meiko Satomura & Syuri of Donna del Mondo vs Bea Priestley, Kagetsu & Saki Kashima of Oedo Tai.

Giulia, Meiko Satomura & Syuri defeated Bea Priestley, Kagetsu & Saki Kashima in 17 minutes via pinfall when Syuri pinned Kagetsu after a devastating Roundhouse Kick. During the match Kagetsu and Syuri engaged in a vicious chopping content with neither women giving an inch, in the end it was broken up by Giulia who almost clotheslined Kagetsu's head off! Donna del Mondo continued their momentum, picking up yet another win.

 

Angle:

After the main event' Kagetsu grabbed a microphone and had something to say: "SYURI! My days here are almost numbered and I think it's only fair that I get the opportunity to revenge this loss in a singles match with you. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you, what do you say?". Syuri nods at Kagetsu and leaves the ring with her Donna del Mondo unit members.

Ozaki & Iwatani will meet at "The Way To Major League Night 2" with the World of Stardom Championship on the line.

 

Kagetsu vs Syuri.

In what could be Kagetsu's last match before her retirement, she was defeated in devastating fashion by Syuri in 18 minutes via pinfall after a head shattering Roundhouse Kick. Kagetsu's neck is not what it used to be, perhaps retirement is after all a smart idea for the 27-year-old.

 

Angle:

An emotional audience were on their feet clapping Kagetsu for her performance, on what many felt could be her final match in Stardom. A teary Kagetsu thanked her fans for coming out and supporting her, she stated that retirement has become an even clearer choice following this loss. As Kagetsu dropped the mic and appeared to be getting ready to leave the ring, suddenly Meiko Satomura's music hit and she came face-to-face with Kagetsu in the middle of the ring. Meiko Satomura congratulated Kagetsu for putting up a tough fight against her fellow unit member and former UFC fighter Syuri and bowed her head as a show of respect. Kagetsu picked the microphone back up and suggested that she may have one more match left in the tank and would be honoured if Meiko would accept. Meiko Satomura accepted with a handshake.

There is simply no point in having Ozaki-Gun around unless they cheat like mad to win lots of matches they shouldn't. Ozaki shouldn't win the STARDOM title which of course means SHE MUST win the title. Utami Hayashishita seemed visibly rusty during her return match after a 2 month lay-off. Queen's Quest make defence number 2 of the Artist of Stardom Championship.

Bea Priestley & Jamie Hayter defeated Giulia & Syuri in 16 minutes via pinfall when Bea Priestley pinned Giulia after a Queen's Landing.

 

Wonder of Stardom Championship Match:

Arisa Hoshiki defeated Maya Yukihi in 18 minutes via pinfall after a Brazilian Kick. In the final moments of the match Maya Yukihi's fellow unit member Yumi Ohka may have cost Yukihi the championship, as Ohka removed the corner turnbuckle padding, leading to Yukihi attempting a Snake Eyes on Hoshiki, who reversed the manoeuvre and dropped Yukihi face first onto the exposed turnbuckle before executing a picture perfect Brazilian Kick. Arisa Hoshiki makes defence number 11 of the Wonder of Stardom Championship.

 

Kagetsu Retirement Match:

Kagetsu vs Meiko Satomura.

Meiko Satomura defeated Kagetsu in 20 minutes via pinfall after a Death Valley Bomb. Kagetsu showed great heart throughout her retirement match, kicking out of not just one but two Scorpio Rising's and a Death Valley Bomb, before succumbing to the second for the finish. This match was extra special as Meiko Satomura was the women who first trained and bought Kagetsu into the industry, so it was only fitting that Satomura was Kagetsu's final opponent.

 

Angle:

Following Kagetsu's retirement match, emotions were in the air, with the entire audience, announcing team, ring crew and her opponent and mentor Meiko Satomura on their feet applauding Kagetsu. Kagetsu herself was also clearly struggling to overcome her emotions following her final match in Stardom as she could barely get her words out while thanking everyone in attendance and all of her fans at home for their continued support over the years. Kagetsu also thanked Meiko Satomura for training her and helping her break into the business. Most of the Stardom roster and all of Oedo Tai made their way to the ring to pay their respects and say goodbye to Kagetsu, who was a trainer, mentor and friend to many in the Stardom locker room. It is clear she will be missed. Kagetsu had one final statement to make before leaving the ring: "When I first announced my retirement I said there would be a new leader of Oedo Tai, that leader is going to be... Saki Kashima!". Bea Priestley & Jamie Hayter turn to one another with confused looks, while Natsuko Tora & Natsu Sumire appear to be in complete shock. It seems everyone is thinking the same thing, what's next for Oedo Tai!?

 

World of Stardom Championship Match:

Mayu Iwatani defeated Mayumi Ozaki in 15 minutes via pinfall after a Two Dragon Suplex Hold. Following a night of foul play from Ozaki-gun, STARS had made themselves alert to the inevitable main event interference, with an irate Tam Nakano chasing down Alex Lee who stole a victory from her earlier on in the event, Arisa Hoshiki rushed in to stop Arisa Nakajima from hitting Mayu Iwatani with the same iron bar she used on Oedo Tai's Saki Kashima and both Saya Iida & Hanan's efforts allowed the referee to notice and stop an incoming Yumi Ohka. This lead to a somewhat "clean" matchup, then again when is any match against an Ozaki-gun member ever really considered clean. Mayumi Ozaki pulled out all of the old tricks in the book, such as multiple illegal pin attempts, low blows and even a nasty eye rake, however, it was Mayu Iwatani who was on the top of her game on this occasion. Mayu Iwatani makes defence number 4 of the World of Stardom Championship.

STARD✪M Announcement

 

27-year-old Yukari Ishino (Kagetsu) has retired from Professional Wrestling following a string of injuries. Yukari Ishino made her Pro Wrestling debut in 2008 for Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling and was trained by the founder, Meiko Satomura. in 2010 she changed her ring name to Kagetsu. Kagetsu made her Stardom debut in April 2016 as a member of Oedo Tai and won many honours during her near 4 year stint with Stardom. It was Kagetsu's trainer Meiko Satomura who defeated Kagetsu in her retirement match at "The Way To Major League Night 2" in February 2020.
