Technical Support Rules [Please read before posting!]

Please follow these two rules before posting in this forum; giving us this information will allow us to address your problem more quickly and efficiently.


1 - You MUST state what patch you were using. You can find the patch number in the title bar of the opening screen. If you're not already using the latest version, please apply the latest patch and see if that fixes the issue before posting.


2 - If you are reporting a runtime error, please remember to include the entire error message and not just the number. If your error is happening on the loading screen, please state clearly what the game says it is currently processing (it's written on-screen near the top).

Non-GDS Staff Posting Technical Support Help


Please note that if you are not a member of staff you should not be answering technical support queries. While we appreciate the help, the forum is for GDS staff to give official advice. This rule is due to past instances where people not associated with Grey Dog have given "advice" that has resulted in other users ruining their save games.
