Regis
A note on the Road Agent situation, I've looked through the database at Unemployed Roadies who are willing to work in multiple areas that aren't just the USA and Canada, and three names jumped out: RK Hayes, Henry Lee and Buddy Garner, all of whom are willing to travel across continents for work. They could be made available in India easily. Also, if an existing Roadie were to relocate to India, might I recommend Leo Price from the UK? I'm an old-school Wigan Bulldogs fan from previous versions of TEW, so I'd like to see him getting some sun in his retirement.

InstantlyOil
Not to be nitpicky or anything, but is dumping as much as possible attributes into a worker just kinda make it "railroady" ? Like you are kinda forced to just play a certain character a certain way. Especially with a region that's supposed to be pretty empty, in the beginning of it's wrestling boom, and there's no set destiny in it. Granted, I'm just as guilty on this, since I submitted a few characters already. But when I actually play them I just began to understand how it works and how intresting it is about how there's multiple Indian The Rock waiting to be my local jobber tonight. Or is it the design that by making most of these awesome workers be "rookie" and just debuting, means they started out at near 0 expereince, thus even if they got those +60 fighting skill, you need a long, long time before they reach their potential? brat99, if you're still working on the data, can you take out some of the "plays x well" and "can't play x" attributes from my submission? If not then okay, I understand. Again, not to be snide or anything, just something I observe.

I appreciate your feedback and I'll take a look at them overall prior to the next update (likely a bit down the road as I'd like to hit submissions goal of 100 workers before doing another update unless unforeseen issues crop up). I feel some of them should stay so that you don't end up with a bunch of average workers with zero personality. Even though the industry in India is relatively new, there are always going to be people that just have a natural talent. I have tried to "ratchet" down some of the super high top row or performance skills because you are correct in that it is not a nation full of Dwayne Johnsons or Ric Flairs or Steve Austins. brat99
Are there any gaps in the market that need filling? Here is a breakdown of what I have so far (NOTE: some workers can already fill multiple roles): Male wrestlers: 50 Female Wrestlers: 11 Managers: 8 Referees: 5 Announcers: 3 Color Commentators: 9 Road Agents: 4 I am currently looking at a few workers in the default database to make available in India to fill a few more road agent slots.....retired or aging active wrestlers who might be open to a move to help kickstart a new area. Realistically, with only two companies active to start, we can take pretty much any roles people want to submit. I have had one person suggest (in the release thread) a women's promotion which would require more womens wrestlers to even consider, but other than that things are pretty well open to whatever people want to submit. I am also currently looking for event name suggestions for the two default companies, and I'm open to suggestions for other possible companies that may be open/yet to open. Less sweaty, obv. Matching headbands with his wife Nattaya that say "TURBO!" Birth Month/Year: January 1995 Debut Month/Year: December 2019 Nationality: Thai Available Areas: India, Japan, Australia Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Face: Muay Thai Badass (badass), heel: Napoleon Complex (realistic) Worker Bio: After an underwhelming Muay Thai career where he started out as a strong prospect and proceeded to get his ass kicked up and down Thailand, Supachai "Turbo" Chanthara was desperately searching for something else to do with his life when along with his wife Nattaya, he found wrestling. Not just wrestling, but Indian wrestling. Although he was only a middling fighter and he doesn't have much experience as a wrestler, it seems like he's done very well to make a fast and furious, stylized Muay Thai attack of knees and head kicks work in a pro wrestling context. The big question is whether fans will be able to buy a 5'5" wrestler who can't cut a promo as a threat. Alter-Ego's (with description): N/A Dojo Graduate: N/A Worker Relationships: Nattaya Turbo (wife) Worker Personality/Attributes: plays legit well, plays badass well, plays weasely well, will risk injury, lively, badass reputation, fitness fanatic, former pro martial artist Finisher: Rapid Knee Combo (impact) Experience: rookie Worker Type/Style: Flashy striker Skills: Strong (his top row should be good but you can nerf his basics and that kind of stuff pretty low since even if he has a knack for the in-ring he's basically a rookie MMA crossover) Athleticism: Freak athlete (but with bad power since he's a manlet). Maybe "only" make his athleticism 75-80ish, great stamina and toughness though Entertaining: Not very (30s for ent skills?) Looks: Like a star (if that's about 60-70 sq, not if it's really good) Worker Name: Nattaya Turbo Worker Size: Toned very small Worker Appearance: This instagram chick as a reference photo? Maybe make her more smug. Definitely make her more smug. Maybe give them matching headbands that say "TURBO!". Teal or whatever works. Birth Month/Year: November 1996 Debut Month/Year: December 2019 Nationality: Thai Available Areas: India, Japan, Australia Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Face: Very Popular Instagram Model (swagger), heel: Very Popular Instagram Model (swagger) Worker Bio: Her husband Supachai "Turbo" Chanthara's Muay Thai career was over. With nothing to do, the young husband and wife saw a comment on her Instagram bikini picture that said "come to India pretty girl" - and they actually went to India. They decided they'd break into the wrestling scene as a duo: Supachai as the workhorse with his exciting Muay Thai offense, and Nattaya as the prettier face and bigger personality. Interestingly, she was set on learning to wrestle herself, not just accompanying Supachai as a valet. Nattaya is a good athlete who copies some of her husband's Muay Thai combinations and transitions in the ring, and she's comfortable taking flight off the top rope. Unfortunately she's very green as a worker. Alter-Ego's (with description): N/A Dojo Graduate: N/A Worker Relationships: Supachai Turbo (husband) Worker Personality/Attributes: better as heel, plays swagger well, plays gimmicky well, plays legitimate well, can't play dominant, fearless, free spirit, horndog, notorious ribber, fitness fanatic, heavy social media user Finisher: Little Elephant Press (top rope pinfall) Experience: rookie Worker Type/Style: High flyer Skills: Average (again she shouldn't have good performance skills, maybe give her like 70 flashiness to be fun) Athleticism: gifted (stamina and athleticism, you can knock the power/toughness way down) Entertaining: Very entertaining (high 60s/low 70s for ent stats?) Looks: Extremely good looking (85ish SA, 75ish SQ) Languages, maybe give them both passable English and basic Hindi? People learn languages super fast in these games anyway iirc. Make them a tag team with low experience (like 10?) just in case someone wants to run an intergender fed EDIT: forgot to give nattaya the "modeling experience" attribute, add that too. InstantlyOil
Events suggestion, DSPW These are based on my google search on what big local or religious happening in there. I imagine them to be run at Week 2, a middle ground since most of the festivals are based on local calendar January DSPW: Spirit of the Sun! (based on the solstice festival) February DSPW: Spring Slam! (based on spring festival) March DSPW: Clashing Colors! (based on Holi) April DSPW: Combat Citadel! (here if you want a cinematic match as the final, based on Ramlila festivals) May DSPW: Harvest of Havoc! (summer harvest season. I can imagine this being a special event/tour in some more northern location outside Delhi) June DSPW: Harming Heat! (they say it's hot here in this time of the year, so submission match?) July DSPW: Mango Malady! (International Mango Festival in New Delhi. Final match must be a 3 way. Give yourself 800 dollar after the event for "sponsorship" haha) August DSPW: Gift of Gold! (based in festival where folks make human pyramids to obtain blessed food hanged high. I can imagine a Money in the Bank type match where an annual trophy is hanged high for tagteams to grab by working together) September DSPW: Obstacles Outed (based in Ganesha festival) October DSPW: Destroying Danger! (based in festivals celebrating Kali, especially the one with her defeating a powerful demon. All matches/final match must be 1vs1) November DSPW: Leading Light! (based in the festival of light) December DSPW: Comic-Confrontation! (trying to cash in the Delhi Comic-con) meanwhile, for MGPW, i think calling their events with "Prix" suffix would do. Like January Prix, June Prix, etc. Ofc, the season end will be The Grand Prix

InstantlyOil
Since this is my first TEW game, I don't know much about some old workers that can be used as a gatekeeper. However, a search into the "Left the Business" turns out 2 intresting worker that can be reintroduced in India. Minh Ruby Worker Size: Average Small Worker Appearance: I think her alt face from the game already work well. But if you want to work on it, maybe put her in a business suit? Birth Month/Year: default Debut Month/Year: default Nationality:Indian Available Areas: India, British Isles Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Madam Boss (Realistic) / Madam Boss (Realistic) Worker Bio: Minh Bhatta was an Indian-born manager from Bradford. As the more racially ambiguous Minh Ruby, she lived a gimmick of a red dressed, glamorous seductress. She was active during the 2000s, and most assumed she had left the business by now. In reality, she was dragged into her enstranged biological family’s war of succession. The matter is complicated since the Bhattas were actually a criminal dynasty. She stands by her stepbrother, Rahul Bhatta, who eventually emerge victorious. Fast forward a decade, when Dasra Bhatta, her infamous niece and the son of Rahul, voice his interest into entering the emergent wrestling scene in India, Ruby is sent back to the business as an observer and to keep note of him Worker Relationships: Dasra Bhatta (Blood Relation) Worker Personality: Has a Temper Worker Attributes: Can't Play Occult, Can't Play Weasely, Drinker, Soft Drug User, Outside Interest, Most Wanted Experience: Default Worker Type/Style: On-Screen Personality / Manager Skills: Give 50s-60s on her Experience Athleticism: Give 20s until 30s in her Stamina, Athleticism, Power, Toughness Entertaining: Give 40-50s Microphone, Acting Looks: 50s on Menace I hope you don't mind me wording it this way, I just want to preserve as many original stats as possible, but the increase was meant to reveal her hidden connection to this gangster family. Also, give her Business Skill of 59, hoping to trigger some AI company to hire her as owner if you start with her. Also, while scouring the "Left the Business" section of the roster, I spot a lot of BSC ex-workers. A crazy idea I had is to pick one of them (I don't know which girl you'd think fits or is the most popular to TEW fans) and add to her story like this Worker Name: [Real First Name] Rupavan Worker Size: default Worker Appearance: Whoever worker you choose with an this style of dress, atleast with the nose piercing. Birth Month/Year: default Debut Month/Year: default Nationality: default Available Areas: India, USA, [her home origin, if she's not from US] Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Royalty (standard) / Royalty (Standard) Worker Bio: [insert a shortened, 2-4 lines from her old bio, mentioning atleast the closing of BSC and her departure to unknown] However, everything changed in 2018. She suddenly reappears in worldwide news after she was photographed besides the new patriarch of The Royal Family of Rupavan. Once one of the ruling dynasty in princely state India, the still influential family now turn their castles into hotels and invest their riches in IT corporations. [Worker's Name] had apparently married the current patriarch in 2013, when he was still the third-in-line and thus the wedding take place without much objection or interest. However, unfortunate deaths shot up her husband's position in the succession's ladder and now the former dancer and wrestler is a genuine Indian queen. While she's been laying low these past 2 years, a recent interview have uncovered her desire to give back to the wrestling world (the patriarch is secretly pro-wrestling fan and discovered her while binge watching BSC tapes), but now as a businesswoman. Worker Relationships: Married outside the business Worker Personality: Professional Worker Attributes: Outside Interest, Never Wrestles If you can leave her default skills it'd probably be better, but I think you should built her to be a celebrity level cameo. Experience: Retired Worker Type/Style: On-Screen Personality, Color Commentator Skills: Strong Athleticism: Average Entertaining: Pretty Good Mic Skills Looks: Very Good Also, give her 75 Business Skill, to persuade the AI to make an owner of her own a company. Personal Wealth is Billionaire Min Company Size is Small Finance is Flashy I leave what her preferred Style to you, I don't know what BSC best be described as, or maybe she wants to be more wholesome considering her new status and you think she'd better be making a family friendly product. Also, maybe hike up her popularity worldwide to increase her appearance cost? I don't know what influence that besides popularity. Thanks for the suggestions! For MGPW, I was half way considering just using MGPW #____, similar to the numbered UFC events. Or maybe MGPW Fight Night #____. Still not sure which way I'm going to go with it. I think your first idea of making it just MGPW#__ is the best. It simple, effective, and really sets it apart from other events we see in game. InstantlyOil
Definitely some cool ideas as I consider crossovers from the default 'verse. Planned on taking yesterday and today off from modding, but even still I have had a couple of ideas that I hope to incorporate into the mod. Well, take your time man. You deserve it. You don't have to actually use them, since it's quite a far-out take from your usual submission. I just think that there's a lot of unused workers in the game that can be brought back in instead of keep adding them. But that's just me trying to help with your idea of "adding workers from other areas to kickstart India".
brat99
Well, take your time man. You deserve it. You don't have to actually use them both, since it's quite a far-out take from your usual submission. I just think that there's a lot of unused workers in the game that can be brought back in instead of keep adding them. But that's just me. I actually really like both ideas, and aside from maybe a small tweak here and there (as is usual for just about any submission) plan on using them both in some form. The ideas that I have been mulling over do create new characters, but they are actually designed to expand on existing characters from the default universe.
