HAWKINS WANTS REVENGE AGAINST ANDREWS, BUT TAYLOR NEXT IN LINE

We open this week's show with Wolf Hawkins, who storms down the ramp before Shawn Doakes even has the time to welcome the viewers.

Hawkins:

Cut my music! What the hell happened last Sunday? Andrews, you couldn't beat me last Sunday. You got saved by the bell. But it's time to rewind the clock. What do you say, Aaron? You, me, right here, right now?

The crowd erupts at the idea of a title match coming up next. When, seconds later, Andrews' music hits, the crowd goes really bonkers. The Ace appears on the ramp, holding his title high up in the air and basking in the ovation. Then he makes the walk and enters the ring.

Andrews:

You are wrong, Wolf, if you think the bell saved me from losing my title. It actually saved you from being humiliated after all the big talk and bold promises. But you are right, the way it went down warrants a rematch, and I'm more than happy to give it to you.

Hawkins' eyes light up, but just as he's about to lose his suit, Joshua Taylor's music hits. Taylor rushes through the curtains and onto the ramp.

Taylor:

Hold on a minute. I became the number one contender last Sunday, and I'm not willing to sit on my ass while you guys play matchmakers. I'm next in line!

The three men look at each other suspicious, wondering who will make the next move. Before anyone can say another word, the PA comes back to life. It's the commissioner, Ricky Dale Johnson, making his way onto the ramp!

RDJ:

Well, well, well, looks like we find each other in a little predicament. You are right, Wolf, you didn't lose last Sunday – but you also failed to win. At the start of the year, we announced that all matches would have a thirty minute time limit, so you've only got yourself to blame for not capitalizing on your shot. Taylor is the rightful number one contender, as has been clearly announced last week, so it looks like you are out of luck…

Hawkins:

This is complete bullcrap. I've been the number one contender since King of Kings, and I haven't been pinned or submitted since. You can't take this from me.

RDJ:

Sure I can, Wolf. I'm the new sheriff in town. Tell you what, though. If you and one of your lackeys, I presume it'll be Doc, manage to beat the team of Andrews and Taylor tonight, the next title match will become a three way. So you better get your ass backstage and make sure that you'll be prepared for later on.

Dave Newton, Austin Lane and Roderick Remus vs The Syndicate (The Elite and Chris Flynn)

After a short commercial, we are back with our first match of the evening. It's the team of Newton, Laine and Remus going head to head with The Elite and Chris Flynn from The Syndicate. Looks like it'll indeed be Doc Hammond teaming with Hawkins later on.

The match starts decently enough, but soon the underhanded tactics of the Syndicate take the wind out of the sails of their opponent, as they break apart they're opponents one by one.

In the end, it is Eddie Chandler who submits Dave Newton to end the match.

Winner:

The Syndicate via submission in 13:23 with Chandler submitting Newton for the win

We go backstage where Bach is in good spirits.

Bach:

Jay Chord, you thought you'd be able to make your name off of me. But last Sunday I showed you that you have much yet to learn. You can doubt my heart and my skills all day long, but the Bach movement is far from over. My fans and I will keep on rockin' and we'll continue to refuse to bow to anyone.

Human Arsenal vs Greg Gauge © for the TCW Television title

It's time for the second night of the evening, as Greg Gauge will defend the TCW Television title against Human Arsenal.

Gauge comes off his win against Benny Benson, and he'll be looking to defend his belt for the eleventh time, which would be a new record.

The match is pretty open, with both men getting in plenty of offense. After a while, Gauge gets stronger and stronger, and he is able to put Human Arsenal in the Proton Lock for the win.

Winner:

Greg Gauge via submission in 17:50

With Gauge still in the ring, One Man Army appears on the big screen.

OMA:

Greg Gauge. You've been fighting your way through TCW's midcard. Good on you! How about you prepare for a real battle? I'm dying for some violence.

T-Bone Bright vs Ernest Youngman

Our next match sees T-Bone Bright go one on one with Ernest Youngman, who has made quite the impression in his debut.

In a fun and fast-paced match, Youngman looks like a real star as he manages to push T-Bone Bright to his limits.

In the end, Bright is too much too early for Youngman, who gets pinned by his more powerful opponent,

Winner:

T-Bone Bright via pinfall in 10:04

We go backstage again where Darryl Davine and Chance Fortune are in a heated debate. The mic isn't able to fully pick up the conversation, but it seems like their string of bad luck has driven a wedge between the two friends.

Mighty Mo vs Titan

It's time for our co-main event, as Mighty Mo from Mighty Meaty goes one on one against Titan from The Behemoths.

Mighty Mo is looking to get revenge for his team's defeat at Malice in Wonderland, which also saw Tana picking up a small injury at the hands of Eddie Peak.

It'll be interesting to see whether there will be any outside interference, especially with Tana out of action for the evening.

Mighty Mo comes out swinging. He looks really dominant in the early stages of the match, and he has Titan reeling.

With Mo looking strong, and Titan on the brink of defeat, we have

Killer Shark

interfering out of nowhere, pummeling Mo on the outside while Titan is distracting the referee.

Shark rolls Mo back in the ring, where Titan is able to hold his shoulders down for the pin.

Winner:

Titan via pinfall in 13:40

MIGHTY TROUBLE FOR THE SINNERS

After the match, Shark enters the ring, as the Behemoths are not done with their foe.

They start teeing off on Mo when, suddenly, the lights go out…

When the lights come back on, the man formerly known as

Primus Allen

is standing in the middle of the ring.

He is fired up and lays out his opponents with two brutal powerslams. Mo gets back to his feet, and the two men are standing tall.

Aaron Andrews and Joshua Taylor vs Wolf Hawkins and Doc Hammond

It's time for our main event. The current World title holder Aaron Andrews, and the number one contender Joshua Taylor will battle Wolf Hawkins and Doc Hammond.

Hawkins and Hammond are a very well oiled machine, of course, having been close allies for more than a year.

Andews and Taylor are an unlikely duo, having been bitter rivals throughout the last year, but their mutual interest of having one less man to worry about in their upcoming match for the title makes them an effective pairing.

The match is everything one could have hoped for, with the four competitors pulling out all the stops.

In the end, Andrews manages to pin Hammond for the win. Hawkins is a split second too late to make the save.

Andrews and Taylor eye up each other, as they will have to battle pretty soon, while Hawkins is furious at losing out on his rematch.

Winner:

Aaron Andrews and Joshua Taylor via pinfall in 18:07 with Andrews pinning Hammond for the win

RANKINGS

This week was hard to predict, as should be the case for shows following a PPV, where new stories are set up. Good job nonetheless, everyone! Funny how the only unanimous pick turned out to be wrong. Youngman is definitely on my shortlist to get a push, but the popularity difference to T-Bone was too big to warrant a win. I really enjoyed your guesses for this week's debut! Special shoutout to lieon02, who was probably on the right track, and expecting Davids to team up with Mo.

Going to skip the bonus question again as I have no idea on that.

Benny & The Foxx vs Jay Chord

I really hope I´m wrong here as I don´t really like handicap matches since they tend to bury the losers (assuming the guys with man advantage lose which I usually assume is the case) but I also don´t see Jay losing here.

Devine Fortune vs The Hybrid Two

One team is going up, while the other one seems to be going towards possible break-up

One Man Army vs Maverick

Maverick had solid win over Anderson in first show but I don´t think he´s been seen since. OMA has bit more going on and just challenged Gauge for the belt so he looks more important right now. That said, I could see this one going the other way in case of Gauge interfering.

Edd Stone vs Troy Tornado

Seems like Stone is on losing storyline and we haven´t yet seen the trigger that would end it so assuming Tornado goes over here.

Aaron Andrews vs Eddie Chandler

Andrews won´t drop this one although I would be surprised if other Syndicate members wouldn´t interfere here.

I've never been a fan of either Benny or Foxx until I recently found new Renders for them, yes I'm that fickle. But Chord is what I see as one of the three pillars for anyone to build TCW around. So Chord win.

Devine Fortune vs The Hybrid Two

Devine Fortune have been around for ever and Hybrid Two are the new tag team around with a hot Freddy Huggins as part of it, so Hybrid Two for me.

One Man Army vs Maverick

Maverick has just always seemed to me like a solid midcarder. OMA seems to have some upper midcard value, so OMA in this one.

Edd Stone vs Troy Tornado

Coin toss but Stone does seem to be losing a lot. Troy has a shelf life though so this could be the turn around for Stone. Taking a risk going with Stone who has more upside long term but wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong.

Aaron Andrews vs Eddie Chandler

Andrews over comes any interference to keep him strong as champion.

SWF have signed a deal with Demand-TV Mexico to show their events.

SWF's Nothing To Lose was a success. Rocky Golden defended his belt against Scythe in the main event.

There are still a lot of rumors swirling around concerning TCW's Battleground PPV. We believe that the show will probably be replaced.

SIGNINGS

It's rumored that TCW has offered contracts to the independent tag team the Long Beach Crew, consisting of Aces High and Cali Slick. No further news at this moment.

BACKSTAGE

Spirits remain high in TCW. The company has really had a very strong start to 2020, and it looks like they could be on the brink of increasing their size.

I think I go with Speed here with the idea that this might be start for him getting a bit more of a spotlight. </em></p><p> </p><p>
