All Elite Wrestling: June 2021-June 2022

AEW World: MJF (2 defenses, def. Eddie Kingston at Revolution 2022)

AEW World Tag Team: SCU (11 defenses, def. Goode Bros and TYB at All Out 2021)

AEW TNT: Transcendant Warrior (13 defenses, def. Miro on Dynamite in September 2021)

AEW Women's: Thunder Rosa (0 defenses, def. Britt Baker at Double or Nothing 2022)

Noteable Events: Chris Jericho was retired by MJF at All Out. Now is the worlds most expensive Colour Commentator/Fozzy touree. MJF defeated Kingston at Revolution, and Moxley lost at Double or Nothing 2022.

Brian Cage goes on a long losing streak and is booted from Team Tazz, on an unmarked road, on the way through the Nevada desert, he makes a wrong turn at P-r-s Un--o-n. Cage is presumed missing, and the whole show expresses concern and starts a missing person's hotline. A month later Cage or at least the man formerly known as Brian Cage returns... With a mullet and unmistakable facepaint. Cage returns, now speaking of alternate planes of existence, being beyond our comprehension, and the power of the gods that imbue him with POWAH! And the Transcendant Warrior was born! My protracted legal battle with Vince is still underway and I am unable to comment. Needless to say, Paris Union Desert is a well known place with completely original IP.

Thunder Rosa switched her entrance music to an edited version Thunderstruck by ACDC. Rode momentum to title win.

Kenny Omega dropped the title at Full Gear to Eddie Kingston. After Moxley brings out his mom from the crowd to distract Don Calias long enough for Kingston to get the job done and pin Omega clean as a sheet. Renee, the baby, Moxley and Kingston w/ Mom celebrate. (Renee is lead PbP for Rampage... JR is just head of talent relations/sit down interviewer.)

Afterward, Omega has talked about leaving the business and that without his championships he doesn't feel whole anymore. Just strange vignettes of him pacing his house, staring at the impressions his belts left on his sofa, pillows, etc. Eventually, Kenny gets a call from an old friend. One that has Don Calias uneasy as he tries to get Kenny refocused on trying to get back into the AEW title picture. So he can regain his leverage over Tony Khan.

Cody has become locked into a blood feud with Christian Cage(ultimate winner of the Cage wars) After Cody ordered The Giant to cause him to lose a number one contender's match with Darby Allin. Cody believes Christian is someone who couldn't hack it in New York, and won't hack it, at his age. They will go 60mins in an Ironman Match at Double or Nothing. Paul Wight is Cody's stooge so they can include him in the reality show on TNT.

Sting and Darby Allin have some misunderstandings that lead to an L versus TYB, Darby turns heel on him, and defeats Sting at Revolution 2022 in a Warehouse Huckjam Match.

Sting since has taken up a weird drinking relationship with Adam Page.

Matt Hardy was transitioned full-time to manager.

After being brought out of retirement by Tony in a bid to get the belts back from TYB. SCU reformed for "one night only" at All Out 2021, but Calais threatened to call off the match unless the Goode Brothers were allowed to compete as well. SCU splits for good when they drop the belts. Just beat the Gunn Club at Double or Nothing.

Jan 1970 - September (Wk.4) 1971

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Emile Dupre

WWWF World Tag Team - Gorilla Monsoon & Pedro Morales

Jan 1970 - December (Wk.4) 1971

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Abe Jacobs

WWWF World Tag Team - Ernie Ladd & Ivan Koloff (aka Badd Ladd & The Cold Warrior)

The last few months of 1971 have been very busy. WWWF has ramped up production values, added Championship Wrestling as a b-show, sent 6 young talents on excursion, and most importantly signed with ABC on a series of contracts to pretty much double the viewership.

At November's the end of the month show Abe Jacobs' storyline finally came into focus, and culminated with a victory over Emile Dupre to take the Junior Heavyweight championship. Jacobs would follow this up with a "David vs Goliath" type series against bulky heavyweight Dick Brower while an eliminator was organized to determine his next contender.

The Final Showdown took place at a sold out MSG for the end of the year show. Destroyer & Antonio Inoki headlined an incredible main event, but the World Tag Team title bout stole the show with Ernie Ladd & Ivan Koloff finally claiming victory over Monsoon & Morales. Bruno Sammartino & Spiros Arion are first in line to take on the champions pending the former champs don't exercise their rematch clause.

Finally, Gary Hart promised stronger competition for The Destroyer in 1972 as he's "just getting warmed up". Gorilla Monsoon, Pedro Morales, and Karl Gotch are all in the contender's pool for a shot at the World Title.

Jan 1970 - December (Wk.4) 1971

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Abe Jacobs

WWWF World Tag Team - Ernie Ladd & Ivan Koloff (aka Badd Ladd & The Cold Warrior)

Jan 1970 - January (Wk.4) 1972

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Nick Bockwinkel

WWWF World Tag Team - Bruno Sammartino & Spiros Arion

January kicked off strong with Bockwinkel taking the Junior Heavyweight crown from Abe Jacobs. Their first match ended in a double DQ after Bobby Heenan's meddling had gone too far. Danny Hodge appeared to help Jacobs clear the ring. With Hodge standing guard at ringside a fair (and very close) match had gone ahead with Bockwinkel winning via piledriver. Jacobs has invoked his rematch clause and heads off to train with Danny Hodge.

Ladd & Koloff's team proved too good to be true as a battle of the egos started to manifest while they were defending against Sammartino & Arion. A botched interference from Nikolai Volkoff sealed the deal and Arion capitalized for the pinfall. A rematch is in the books, but it seems like the entire stable could implode at any moment.

The Destroyer and Wahoo McDaniel continue their dominant ways while stepping up their competition. The Destroyer had an excellent series with Gorilla Monsoon while McDaniel was squaring off against Karl Gotch. Pedro Morales is a contender for both titles come February, but has to choose which one he wants to take on. Both Gary Hart and JJ Dillon are meddling with Morales as he decides.
