Crusher Ichihara - Current reign: 92 Days; 5 Defenses - Defeated Wanda Fish, Eileen Everheart & Miyuki Miharu at WCCW World Class Grand Prix: Night 2 2001 in October to become inaugural champion

We're a week after the sixth edition of World Class' season finale, the Parade of Champions, which seems like a good time to give an update on the title situations around the promotion. The most obvious differences from October are the title changes with the Intercontinental, United States Tag Team & World Television championships, but the biggest by far is the addition of a Women's title under a different organization name. I realized towards the start of 2002 that I had to change my overall presentation of the women's division and decided to use Impact Wrestling's beginnings as some inspiration to create the FEMME brand with their own women-exclusive weekly PPV shows. This experiment is still pretty early days, but the first show gave me a lot of confidence in just how well it could work at elevating the brand into being just as successful as the men's someday, including a future expansion of gold for the division should things progress well enough.

Started as WWF in January 1985. Currently in April 1985 and just hosted the first WrestleMania.

WWF World Heavyweight: Hulk Hogan (1) He was the starting champion. Teamed with Mr. T at WrestleMania and defended the title against Rowdy Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton. Paul Orndorff is the current challenger.

WWF Intercontinental: Junkyard Dog (1) Defeated Greg Valentine (c) and Tito Santana at WrestleMania. David Schultz is the current challenger.

WWF North American: Currently vacant. Running a tournament with Bob Backlund, Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik, Bret Hart, Don Muraco, Tito Santana, Greg Valentine and Jim Neidhart. Going to have Muraco win the tournament at Saturday Night's Main Event after Sheik screws Hart in the final match.

WWF World Tag Team: The Hart Foundation (1) Defeated Dick Murdoch & Adrian Adonis. They won the titles after the U.S. Express had to vacate due to injury. Feuding with Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff.

WWF Women's: The Fabulous Moolah (2) Defeated Wendi Richter at WrestleMania. They're currently feuding and Richter will eventually take the title back.

Burned myself out with the save for a bit but am finally getting back into it. Just finished up November 85 with WWF The Wrestling Classic and heading towards January and  WWF Saturday Night's Main Event III. I'm using SNME as a PPV in between the major PPV's as I only have 3 right now.

WWF World Heavyweight: Paul Orndorff (1) Defeated Hogan at the first SNME in a 2/3 Falls match after interference from Heenan. Hogan is set to get it back at SNME III but I'm thinking about holding off until Mania. After Hogan fends off Orndorff, Andre will become #1 Contender.

WWF Intercontinental: David Schultz (1) Defeated Junkyard Dog in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at SNME II. They're currently feuding with each other for the time being. JYD will eventually win the title back.

WWF North American: Larry Zbyszko (1) Defeated the first champion, Don Muraco, at WWF The Wrestling Classic. Muraco has had a pretty good year. He won a 10 man battle royal at first ever WrestleMania and won the WWF Mr. Wrestlemania Cup. 2 Months later he defeated Bret Hart in the finals to crown the first ever WWF North American Champion. Then a month later takes down IC Champion JYD (with a little help from David Schultz) in the finals for King of the Ring. They'll be feuding for a bit longer.

WWF World Tag Team: Legion of Doom (1) Defeated Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff at SNME II. They faced off a few times after but LOD stayed strong. They're currently being challenged by Bad Reputation..... Andre The Giant & Big John Studd. Andre won the official Body Slam Challenge but Studd defeated Andre at SNME II in a Parking Lot Brawl to force Andre to join The Heenan Family. Turned him 2 years early so he can challenge Hogan for the WWF Title soon.

WWF Women's: Leilani Kai (1) Defeated Wendi Richter at SNME II. I've never been good with women's wrestling but I'm trying. Richter just retired Moolah and will be coming for Kai.

Not doing it yet but I have the plans and belts already made up for the WWF Junior Heavyweight and WWF World Six Man Tag Titles. Just waiting on the right time. Also sorry for the long post.

WWE January 1985 - June 2006

WWE World Heavyweight
Samoa Joe (1x), def. John Cena at Judgment Day 2006

WWE Universal
Jeff Hardy (1x), def. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 22

WWE Intercontinental
CM Punk (1x), def. Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 22

WWE Television
Charlie Haas (1x), def. Rob Van Dam on Monday Night RAW #643

WWE Tag Team
Gold Bond (Colt Cabana/Justin Gabriel) (1x), def. WGTT (Benjamin/Haas) at WrestleMania 22

WWE Women's
Melina (1x), def. Mickie James at Over the Limit 2005

Money in the Bank
AJ Styles (1x)

Introduced a second world title. Suit wearing "Best in the World" Chris Jericho made for a fine first champion and held it from September to Mania in April. Jeff Hardy won the Rumble and chose Jericho to give the title some initial prestige. It's still very much the 1B to the WWE Championship's 1A, and that likely won't change anytime in the future, but I like the flexibility it gives me in the main event picture. Women's roster is a bit thin at the moment, but I'll introduce a second women's title sometime in the future too.
