ThrowawayAccount1227
So I have a 4790k and I'm planning to upgrade my PC, not that my current rig is bad or anything, I just wanted to upgrade for when Cyberpunk2077 releases. So if I upgrade to a 3900x would I be able to simulate games faster?
Donners
I went from a 4570 to 9700F and didn’t notice much difference on WMMA 5 (where you tend to sim a lot more days at a time than TEW). The games only seem to use one core.
NextGame
I'm on a 3950x atm, game simulates slower than 2016 did on a 6700k, but it's not as though its a massive wait time between turns considering this title can run on a potato. It's almost certainly not using more than 1 core, for example.

Thank you for answering, as someone who will have a better CPU than me your answer really helps.
