I am bringing the CornellVerse 2010 to TEW2020. I have converted the version from TEW2016 and begun the process of updating it for TEW2020. This thread will serve as a place to keep you updated on the progress. I will also update this section once a version is available for download. I am including a Special Thanks section to recognize all the posters who have contributed anything to this Mod, whether it be information or images.

I do not wish to ask for too much, but to help you with India and potential other workers, I would ask if you could use the 2 indias worker databases, the Yet to Debute one, and the woman one... Does that mean all of the 2016/2020 debuting characters will be in or just the 2010 default?

Everything that was added in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2020 will be included. I just want to get all the default CornellVerse data up to speed before I start adding extra content.

<p>I have updated the main post with my progress. I did a lot of the "easy" stuff first.</p><p> </p><p>

My next step will be to work through each Active Company including the stats of the workers with contracts, employment histories, tag teams, stables, titles, etc. This will be the major work and will take the most time.</p>

I just wanted to give a quick update. I continue to work on this but it has been pretty slow as real world/work stuff has taken more time lately.

 

I was just looking back at when I announced the 2016 version and it took about 5 months before I released it. I hope it doesn't take that long but I will try to update at least once a week with my progress.

 

I have added/updated all the Companies (Closed/Open/Future) and next I will be updating and adding all the titles for the added companies.

 

Then I will move on to the actual workers, first updating the ones from 2010 and then importing everyone who came after that.

<p>Just a small update on the status of this mod. I know this will disappoint some people.</p><p> </p><p>

I have continued to work on this on and off since my last update but it is still a long way off from being completed and released. Real life stuff has gotten in the way and now I want to also get some actual playing time in with TEW2020.</p><p> </p><p>

I still plan on working on this and eventually releasing it but I have no time table for when it will be complete. I will probably also be posting a new dynasty in the Dynasty section and split my TEW time between working on this Mod and playing the dynasty.</p>

I spent some time messing around with the CV2020 data last night and it was kind of hard using workers who were ten years older than I am used them being.

 

It got me motivated to dive into updating my 2010 data again but I decided to tackle it in a way that will make it easier and less tedious. I should have just converted the one I released for 2016 and started from there, instead of essentially starting from scratch. I plan on doing that now.

 

I should have a real update soon (over the next few days) and I apologize for playing with the emotions of anyone looking forward to this.

I have just updated the main post with my progress. I won't always have as much time each day (I had the day off from work today), but I have been able to get myself even further than I was when I was attempting to start from scratch.

 

I am now going to work on importing and updating the workers. This will be the biggest task.

 

I am going to work on importing the new workers from TEW2020 first. Once I do that, would anyone be interested in an Alpha/Beta release? Would anyone play an unfinished mod? If so, any feedback about potential improvements would be very helpful.

What a crazy year in the CVerse! I really love the 2010 start date and will be looking forward to this!

Just a quick update. I have been entering (and editing as needed) new workers that were created in 2020. This is just the basic worker record with moves and movesets. I believe out of the 286 new workers that were added since 2016, besides the user characters, only three had debuts prior to January 2010 so the rest of them are all "future workers" in 2010.

 

I have imported/edited 74 so far and still have 212 left. Once these are done, I still need to add/update relationships, tag teams, and any other miscellaneous things associated with the worker. That will probably take me at least a couple more weeks based on how much time I can put into doing it each day.

 

I think at that point I will release a beta version and then go on to updating the attributes, skills, popularity, and anything else that is needed for the workers that were converted from the 2016 database.
