ccgmacc69
Is there a reason why that the hiring costs for venues are disproportionate? For example, you can have a venue that seats 35,000 with a hiring cost of $300 and another venue that seats 2000 that cost $3000?
FINisher
You are confusing an area and a venue. There's now area "venues" that range from 300 seats to 35.000 and will cost accordingly.

They have a maximum capacity based on the size of the city/state/territory, and an estimated cost based on the attendance you're likely to draw.

Venues are brick and mortar arenas that have a set capacity. They cost roughly the same as a location would for the same number of fans but their cost is fixed, because you're hiring that specific venue, not a generic arena in an area.

In your example, you're paying $300 for that location because the number of fans you'll be drawing is tiny, so the arena you'll be hiring is suitably tiny. That's why it's an estimated cost.

The venue you're looking at is much bigger than you need and has a set cost.
