Longtime TEW/EWR fan who has finally decided to complete a long held aspiration of mine and release my very own real world mod for TEW 2020... And to update it with monthly updates! Why do we need another real world mod, you ask? I guess we don't! But I have been working on this since TEW 2020's release and I'm hoping to present a finished mod of size, depth and detail that has never been seen before in the community. I wanted a game world that was accurate, realistic and most of all still fun to book in. It's something I personally wanted for myself and figured there's no reason for me not to release it once it's in a fairly playable state. That time is approaching rapidly. 7399 workers (more coming). 53 companies. Aiming for a release in August. Also, if there are any indy guys or other relatively unknown RL workers you'd like to see in my mod, just let me know! I'm planning on adding batches of performers that people ask for with each new update. As I play mostly with the underdogs but still pretty major companies (IMPACT, MLW), I'm interested in seeing the depth of the US indies, to see if you focus on the more famous people on the scene or if this will have deep cuts that are starting to make waves. I plan to release new, fully-fleshed out (mostly indie) wrestlers with each new update as well as new companies when people call for them to be added. Just remember, the first release is the easiest, it's all a pain in the behind after that - especially with keeping those numbers up to date every month so you can keep it the most accurate and depth filled data. I'm looking at a release probably in the third week of August. Contracts, workers, titles and a few other things are complete. Right now it's a matter of adding attributes for every worker on a contract for a company AND balancing workers stats/financing. I'm thinking my first batch will be recommendations from yourself and earlier in the thread.
