  1. Just to toss my two cents in... I've watched DOZENS of watcher games trying to power-scale my mod I'm working on and this happens to NXT every single time. It's something that needs to be looked at on the developer side I think because I've tried to nerf/buff and rework just about everything I can think of with that company and I still end up a few months out every time and their belts won't be defended and they don't have a single "superstar" other than some retired road agents etc.
  2. <p>If this was possible to implement it would solve some of the immersion problems I've run into trying to create a living and breathing wrestling world for my mod.</p><p> </p><p> Not being able to have the AI book off of these big wins makes things like the Royal Rumble, MITB and a ton of tournaments seem kinda pointless.</p>
  3. Has anyone been trying this at all? I'm deciding what to do with it. It's been a few months, but I might come back to it.
  4. Thanks for this list! I haven't given up on my mod yet, but the last few months have been incredibly busy for me, and the current state of pro-wrestling (due to covid) has made adjusting rosters, setting events etc. incredibly difficult because so much seems to be up in the air. That, and general lack of feedback has kind of killed my motivation to keep this updated. When I get a chance to sit down and work on this some more I'll happily add these guys. October is looking a little slower.
  5. Thanks! Let me know what you think. I'll upload a pic pack for it later. I added so many workers I had to make my own basic cuts for a lot of them.
  6. <p>Didn't get the testing in I'd hoped so my release wasn't on time and I do believe enthusiasm may have died along with my mishandling of it. </p><p> </p><p> So, here's a warts & all release I'm still working on. For what it's worth. </p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/file/dqqzlird5hq0l2f/TEW2020.mdb/file" rel="external nofollow">http://www.mediafire.com/file/dqqzlird5hq0l2f/TEW2020.mdb/file</a></p>
  7. Thank you for the enthusiasm! I'm at work until 4 PM (California) and then I'm going to do a couple more checks for any obvious issues (have a watcher game running all day) and there I will drop the beta release here tonight.
  8. Hey guys! Missed my mid-August release date goal, but I'll be putting out the beta version of this mod either TONIGHT or early tomorrow. Again, let me emphasize that this is a *BETA* version of what I ultimately want the mod to be. I'm hoping this release will provide a much more consistent and wide spread bit of testing. Having said that there are a handful of things to keep in mind while navigating this mod: 1. The only testing I've done so far has been a constant cycle of watcher games to make sure things are operating on a fundamental level. So far, things are looking stable except for some financial issues that I think might be inherent within the game and out of my control. I'm keeping an eye on it in hopes that I can diagnose the issues. I will begin to test the actual booking side of things tonight and for the next couple weeks and make adjustments accordingly. *IF YOU FIND ANYTHING ODD/INNACURATE/WRONG PLEASE LET ME KNOW! You guys are going to be my best resource going forward. I wish I had time to keep up with 70+ wrestling companies, but alas, I do not. 2. Attributes for all 7000+ workers are INCOMPLETE. I realized how much this was slowing me down and have forgone it in favor of getting this beta out for some basic testing. Having said that, I intend to personally tweak every contracted worker's skills and release them in patches and along with new companies and workers. My dream is to make this the LARGEST and most in-depth real world mod that has ever been released. 3. If you'd like to see workers/companies in this mod that aren't just post them below and *IF* I can find enough suitable information on said workers and companies odds are good I'll be able to add them (definitely for workers, it depends on how obscure a particular company is). 4. In some situations I have had to use creative license to make the mod operate on the game's unique year cycle. This mainly has to do with the schedule of certain events. With Covid destroying the year's wrestling event calendar I've had to improvise. Many smaller companies are on a "monthly" event schedule, whereas I've tried to faithfully replicate correct (fixed) schedules for the world's larger companies. This is all stuff I'm willing to change/work on if people have opinions on it. 5. This is my first mod lol so be nice. I value your opinions and input and hopefully they can help me get this to where it's an immersive and enjoyable TEW experience. 6. There's still a lot of work to be done to get this where I want it to be, but I can't express how much enjoyment and fulfillment I've gotten out of this project thus far.Thank you all for you support! All feedback is welcome! I want this mod to be the best it can be.
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheWho87" data-cite="TheWho87" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47681" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>They should be, their all set to be defended at a normal frequency, with the NXT and IWGP not defended on tours.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thought I'd pipe in here. I've done similar sims off a mod based off of this (working on my own mod) and for some bizarre reason I can't get the NXT title to be properly defended either. I'm thinking that WWE keeps recalling people from NXT leaving nobody popular enough to contend for the belt?</p><p> </p><p> I haven't tried to solve the issue yet, but I've definitely noticed it as well.</p>
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="rktaker" data-cite="rktaker" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="51339" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>always cool to see another real world mod, who knows might have some other companies, workers in here that the other mods don’t have, look forward to trying it out</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I used TheWho's database as a base and have personally, hand-added close to 300 workers so far and I'm currently bogged down in the last 175 I've still yet to add <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> still plugging away though. My August release won't be happening, but I'm hoping to get a beta version out sometime in the first half of September.</p><p> </p><p> Just gonna finish fleshing these new workers out and do a bit of balance-testing and then I'll be ready for a beta release <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Fox Fire" data-cite="Fox Fire" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="51339" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I hope you add Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (OWE) and the wrestlers that work there too.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> After considering it, I've decided that my plan going forward is that once my beta release is out, tested and balanced I'll be making monthly updates including NEW workers, companies and updates. I'm thinking my first batch will be recommendations from yourself and earlier in the thread. Only problem with OWE is that China isn't in he game <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. <p>I haven't tested relationships at length so far with the "faithful" attribute but I haven't had any issues with it so far, usually because (like in real life) both workers should be tagged as faithful.</p><p> </p><p> As far as the deaths go? Yeah, I kind of agree that it needs a nerf. Even with the death settings on low to none it people in their 30s/40s shouldn't be dying off unless it's due to an accident or drug/steroid abuse... I've had Edge, Jeff Cobb and a bunch of others randomly drop dead before 50 for no discernible reason.</p>
  12. Intergender tag belts should absolutely be something to add to the game.
  13. I'm adding them tonight along with a few other suggested workers! I'll take a look at these tonight. I've currently got 70 companies in the game, but if I can find enough info on these companies I might squeeze them in. Give the people what they want. Thank you everyone else for the support! I'm looking at a release probably in the third week of August. Contracts, workers, titles and a few other things are complete. Right now it's a matter of adding attributes for every worker on a contract for a company AND balancing workers stats/financing. But so far it's looking quite exciting and dynamic Thank you all again!
  14. Been working on my RW mod (out sometime this month! CHEAP PLUG) and was running into the issue that stables MUST be tied to a certain company. From what I can tell, anyways. Correct me if I'm wrong! Just thought it would be a neat touch to allow stables to exist on the independents. It seems like nowadays most stables operating in North America outside of the big 3 (WWE, AEW, Impact) tend to appear for a bevy of promotions. Just a thought.
  15. Absolutely great looking. Thanks for all your hard work as always!
  16. A simple road agent note would seem to help with this. I think it would be welcome addition, because debuts do tend to feel a little... Cold.
  17. <p>Very cool. As a new modmaker myself I can't wait to take a look at this.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I'm aiming for probably the second or third week of August for a "beta" release. I'm doing as many watcher games as I currently can to make sure that everything is relatively balanced. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Frenchy_Tweest" data-cite="Frenchy_Tweest" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="51339" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I also love to test new RW mods!<p> </p><p> As I play mostly with the underdogs but still pretty major companies (IMPACT, MLW), I'm interested in seeing the depth of the US indies, to see if you focus on the more famous people on the scene or if this will have deep cuts that are starting to make waves. The second category is often what I'm using to add to my roster.</p><p> </p><p> Can't wait to see the first release ! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm a huge indie head myself and this project has given me a killer reason to look at the global wrestling world more closely. I plan to release new, fully-fleshed out (mostly indie) wrestlers with each new update as well as new companies when people call for them to be added. I want the indies to be just as vibrant and alive as the bigger global companies!</p>
  19. <p>I've tried to book these myself using the game as it is, but I never seem to be able to pull it off without the ratings just being absolute trash.</p><p> </p><p> I think this would be an awesome addition if it was at all feasible to add.</p>
  20. Hey, guys, DaneQuixote here. Longtime TEW/EWR fan who has finally decided to complete a long held aspiration of mine and release my very own real world mod for TEW 2020... And to update it with monthly updates! Why do we need another real world mod, you ask? I guess we don't! But I have been working on this since TEW 2020's release and I'm hoping to present a finished mod of size, depth and detail that has never been seen before in the community. I wanted a game world that was accurate, realistic and most of all still fun to book in. It's something I personally wanted for myself and figured there's no reason for me not to release it once it's in a fairly playable state. That time is approaching rapidly. 7399 workers (more coming). 53 companies. Aiming for a release in August. Also, if there are any indy guys or other relatively unknown RL workers you'd like to see in my mod, just let me know! I'm planning on adding batches of performers that people ask for with each new update. Companies included so far (recommend me more to add): USA (20): Absolute Intense Wrestling, All American Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, Black Label Pro, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Combat Zone Wrestling, Full Impact Pro, Game Changer Wrestling, House of Hardcore, Major League Wrestling, Mission Pro (Thunder Rosa's new company in Texas), National Wrestling Alliance, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor, Shimmer, Shine, World Wrestling Council, WWE, NXT. Canada (5): Capitol City Championship Combat, Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, Northern Championship Wrestling, Smash Wrestling. Mexico (5) CMLL, IWRG, AAA, Crash, Toryumon Mexico UK (7) Insane Championship Wrestling, New Generation Wrestling, Over the Top Wrestling, EVE, Progress, Rev-Pro, NXT:UK. Japan (12) AJPW, BJW, Dragon Gate, DDT, Ice Ribbon, MPW, NJPW, NOAH, ZERO1, Sendai Girls, Tokyo Joshi Pro, Stardom Europe (2) Would like more! Italian Championship Wrestling, wXw Oceania (2) Melbourne City Wrestling, PWA Black Label Thanks to anyone who's interested. Hopefully I can come up with something that provides many hours of joy for at least a few of you.
  21. This is one of the things from 2016 I REALLY really miss. No clue if it's something that could feasibly be added at this point, but would be cool if it was.
  22. Very excited to try this out in my new real time mod I'm working on Thank you for your hard work!
  23. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Grimmas" data-cite="Grimmas" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47535" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You know folks like Starr and Ryan will never work in wrestling again.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Never underestimate the carny factor. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  24. Definitely adds to the realism. I'd support this as an option you could toggle on and off. I'd definitely play with it.
