2. Back to running test-plays this morning. I LOVE how many independent shows are popping up when you have the whole world active. My only question is WHY do a majority of these independent shows always end up having 12-15 matches on the card?
 3. Honestly, I think I might have lucked into one 100 in all the years I played 2016 lol.

Lol.

 5. Playing with a 2016 mod I managed to import and Charlotte and Naomi have main-evented RAW for 4 weeks in a row... AEW has a ladder (and usually table) match every... Single... Dynamite... Stables are constantly flip-flopping because of random heel/face turns... I can go on, but this is the kind of stuff that makes me feel like I'm wasting my time as well :/ Hoping it has something to do with me using an older database.

But when observing the landscape here, it does seem to be the really big issue for people. I have my own issues, but they don't even have to do with the UI.

No, I hear you. It's just insane to me that people are more concerned with that than with the actual functions of the game. I've got my criticisms (and some bugs) as well, but I'm saving them for the proper thread.

I can get used to the UI even if I'm not crazy about it. Again, 10 hours in and I basically have.

I've been fooling around with it for 10 hours and once you get the hang of it it's perfectly fine.

You want the most immersive pro-wrestling booking simulator out there? There's gonna be a lot of buttons.

The fact that some.of these changes came to see the light of day is not encouraging at all, imo. I've never felt so disappointed by a new release like I feel about this one. Every new version has its gripes but this one has too much. Even after disabling new colour lists settings in options I will still have a big amount of lists where I can't use my keyboard. Why would someone testing the game not constantly nag and warn this and the rest of the UI would be terribly disliked by most people? It was obvious.

Anyway, not trying to hate on the game, the actual new features I tried so far looked great but eventually I simply gave up playing it cause that UI and the problems it brings are overwhelming. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to test some more.

Disappointed by a new release? The game hasn't officially BEEN released <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Seriously, guys? lol do you not understand what a BETA is?

 9. I totally get that it's something that needs to be addressed otherwise it makes a major match type basically unplayable but do we need to have the entitled attitude about it? Just report it in the proper place and I'm sure it'll get fixed. Come on guys.
 10. I don't think the AI is utterly rubbish at all, it definitely seems to be trying to book things better than it used to in TEW 2016. Still though, I'm keeping an eye out. Noticing a TON of tag team matches. Again, I got a little list of bugs to report for later, but nothing serious. Still hyped! And it's kind of fun digging around to see what works and if anything doesn't. Also, I'm pretty much used to the UI already.
 11. I figured as much with the stable situation. Glad to hear it. I finally managed to get that company a booker/owner by just copying a different company's product in the editor. Seems to be ok now!
 12. It could be, I just wanted to bring it to other people's attention. One of my only real gripes from TEW 2016 was the ass-backwards booking the AI would lay down every now and then. Top of my list for 2020 was for the AI to up its game and book stuff a little more realistically. I'm a sucker for it. I'm still optimistic. Like we've been saying, it's day #1. I'm just glad different players are scouting out different aspects of the game to make sure everything is working ok hopes are still very high. I can see 2020 being absolutely amazing.
 13.

So far I'm 50/50 on the game but I am optimistic things will change.

Like many others, I am not the biggest fan of the U.I., it's something I could definitely get used to for sure but so far, not really liking the look of it.

Booking your own show and going from match to match once the show is running is much faster, I can find myself booking shows quicker now which is a big plus.

However, I played around with the auto booker booking the whole show and found that to be a big mess. I can't recall what the auto-booker was like when TEW 2016 first came out but I often found the auto-booker to both be useful and fun to see what the game comes up with. TEW 2020's auto-booker so far doesn't seem to know what it's doing, a lot of the time putting the worst talent in the main event. (Noticed a lot of tag team matches being created too which was also an issue with Auto-Booker in TEW 2016)

I dislike that roles have been replaced with 'perception' I guess that's meant to work in a way for us to be more flexible with who we push but I don't think it works particularly well, Main Event down to Opener seems much more appropriate and seems like an odd thing to replace. I know some people are a fan of it and I perhaps will eventually like the idea of that but for now, a big no. I also think the replacement of roles for perception may be the reason why the auto-booker so far is broken.

I don't normally play with the CornellVerse but I love the history behind it. I loved the changes to the CV in this edition of the game and I liked the little 'world tour' thingy that plays when beginning a new game to give us an overview what's happened in the last four years. Only five more years until Cornell Jr debuts:D! I'll be messing with the CV until next Thursday and will most likely give it a real go when I get the full game. Really enjoying 21CW right now.

I was annoyed at first to realize I needed to click on every little thing rather than using the arrow keys so I was pleased to notice I could turn off the new setting to allow me to use arrow keys. However, I eventually turned it back on and have got used to it. It's not too much of a problem and I can definitely work through that.

So overall, I have a love-hate relationship with the game, the UI being the biggest hate but the booking speed and the speed of the game, in general, being a big positive. Really hoping for some updates on the auto-booker. Can be quite tedious booking B-Shows.

Also, I know I can select/deselect people on the auto-booker but often just get given a bunch of angles and no matches when I do that. Would just like it to actually sort the talent properly when using it.

I'm worried about the AI's booking abilities in general. I've been doing some simulation runs (me remaining jobless and just skipping days ahead to see what the AI does) and it seems like every day there are numerous stable swaps (hoping this levels off) and I also started a new company and for whatever reason, two months in they still haven't found themselves a booker OR owner.

Still fiddling with it, but I am a little worried about it. Also noted some random little bugs, but I'll post those together later.

 14.

If there's one thing I've learned from this thread, its that PGHJuice does not like the product system.

It's literally the first 24 hours of the beta and people are having a complete meltdown already. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I have my criticisms, but I'm confident most of them will be remedied either in the final release or in a coming patch.

If not? I'll either get over it or find something else to play.

 15. I'm just trying to get them to appear in game. I've been passing days just to watch the world evolve and under match results sometimes worker pics show up and sometimes they don't. I'm trying to rename my pics accordingly but sometimes it doesn't seem to work. Naming a pic "Adam Cole" has his it pop up for his profile in-game, but I just tried the same with "Matt Riddle" and his doesn't seem to come up (they're in the same match). Edit: I'm an idiot. Riddle's pic was in the wrong folder. Thanks for asking, though
 16. I can't get my picture pack to work. What format do your worker pics need to be named in order to automatically show up in game? "John Smith.jpg", no?
 17. Here's another question. If you're the booker of a company can the owner go over your head and offer contracts? I was going to let a performer's PPA contract expire, but as I went to the next day I had an email informing me he'd signed a new contract with my company. Glitch? Or did my boss step in? Edit: I'm an idiot. My second email confirmed that indeed, my boss had stepped in and done this. Cool to know this can happen, though.
 18.
I'm about a year into my save with new workers entering the world regularly.

Where do you guys get pics to use for your new workers? Anyone have any recommended picture packs of random/non celebrity pics? I've poked around but have a feeling I'm not looking in the right places.

Thanks as always.

 19.
Duplicate Workers

Been playing using the Oct database and found a few duplicate workers. If this has already been addressed in the Dec. update disregard.

Robert Evans is The Latvian Proud Oak.

Zeda and Zeda Zhang are the same person.

Thanks for all the hard work you do.

 20.
Here's one for you guys.

Impact (the whole company) got busted in my save with a sex scandal and supposedly the whole fed was marked as "toxic". I'm a couple months out from this happening and there doesn't seem to be any repercussions for this. Their popularity has been on the rise ever since, completely unhindered by said scandal.

Are larger companies less effected by this sort of RNG event? Or does it take a while for them to be damaged by it?

Just thought it was a little weird. I know when a worker becomes "toxic" it's a big deal.

 21.

As a Lower Mid he shouldn't have much effect on the backstage rating, he'll of course get himself into various incidents if he's a bad apple, but with that good diplomacy and other good personalities around it can make him see the errors of his ways and become a good guy.

Also, you can pretty much keep him in the lower mid as long as you want if you manage his popularity, train/job him against talented performers, maybe make him a losing lackey in a storyline with popular guys on the roster, and basically keep him from winning so that his popularity stays where it is.

He'll improve in his skills that way, but hopefully not start complaining that he wants a bigger push. If you're lucky, you can fix his personality issues and when he becomes less of a toxic prick you can start pushing him proper... By then his skills will undoubtedly be (much) better too, making a push even easier.

Hi 'new', i'm Dad!

1. I'm not sure about limiting events without controlling it yourself, maybe someone else can answer this for you.

2. One way to make this a thing is to set 'brands' in the brand split menu. That way you can make a Main brand/Cruiserweight/Women brand. Then in the event options you set the event to the specific brand you wish to run. Then the AI will ONLY book people that are assigned to that brand.

There's a maximum of three brands per company, so more than that won't be possible. I'm also unsure whether or not non-brand workers will have their morale affected for not showing up at an event that isn't part of their brand, I assume they shouldn't, but i'm not 100% certain.

So yeah, if you make a specific cruiserweight brand and add all the cruiserweights to it, then make an event for the cruiserweight brand only, the AI will only book workers that are part of the cruiserweight brand for those events.

Thanks so much! I figured there had to be a way to handle that and of course, I was simply overlooking it. Much appreciated.

 22.
Hi guys, new here.

My question is that as a parent company is there a way to prevent the AI from making a bunch of new events for your child companies? I've run some tests as WWE and NXT and I like NXT's current schedule of having 4 Takeovers a year and their usual television episodes... But it seems like every time I start a save as WWE the AI makes up its own events to round out NXT's annual schedule and I end up with a bunch of weird, generic NXT events I didn't really want.

I have a feeling there's no way to stop this, but if anyone else knows of a way to, I'd appreciate it if you'd fill me in. Thanks!

Edit: Also, is there a way to set an AI-controlled event to solely book from a specific division (cruiserweight/women etc)?
