Vince McMahon

WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! THE ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA CONTINUES! Vince McMahon here joined by my regular broadcast partner, Rob Bartlett and once again joining me this evening Gorilla Monsoon. Again folks, it is with great disappointment that Randy Savage is not here with us tonight, although we can update you that the office of WWF President Jack Tunney has been having multiple discussions with the New York City Police Department!

Gorilla Monsoon

That's right and in fact, Jack Tunny will be making an announcement regarding Randy Savage here tonight, the same evening which the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels will be hosting a "memorial service" for the career of Randy Savage!

Rob Bartlett

I hope to God that Tunney has some karma in store for Shawn Michaels tonight! This punk has gotten away with far too much as it is!

Vince McMahon

Also! To look forward to tonight, our Main Event of the evening! Ric Flair will team up with Lex Luger and take on Mr. Perfect and Brutus Beefcake! This rivalry between Flair and Perfect has heated up ever since Ric Flair took scissors to the hair of Mr. Perfect and now, Mr. Perfect gets his chance to get his hands on Ric Flair once more.

Gorilla Monsoon

We also get a blast from the past asPiper's Pit returns to the airwaves! It's the return of Roddy Piper and with Rick Martel making a statement against the Hot Rod, one has to wonder whether the usual chaos we remember will make it's return here tonight in the Pit!

Rob Bartlett

Money Inc. Have also gathered together their funds, they've filed their taxes and spoken to their attorney's! They've apparently got a large monetary offer to The Steiner Brothers here tonight so that Ted Dibiase can focus on what he feels, was a stolen opportunity at the Royal Rumble

Max Moon VS. Owen Hart

19mI26j.jpg VS. HwDge0c.jpg

While there was little heat in the match, the bout got the night off to a decent start. Whilst Owen Hart has not had much chance to connect with the fans properly, it's clear he's got the in ring skills to be a possible future mainstay on the show. He still needs time to grow and to shine but this opening match with Max Moon showed he was able to put on a serious match when given the opportunity, even when facing against a more...colorful character in Max Moon, who also did what he needed to do in the match. Own Hart would pick up the win after hitting an impressive diving crossbody.

Giant Gonzalez VS. Jim Brunzell

WbHHfiD.jpg VS. 1ONcKHv.jpg

Not much need to bust out the star rating on this one folks. Apparently the reason that Giant Gonzalez was put in this match was as a test, to see how he might fare against someone who, while not big in name or star power, has a known wrestling ability and is a good hand to have in the locker room. If Giant Gonzalez was unable to be an imposing monster against Brunzell, it would make the WWF hesitant with any plans for Gonzalez going forward. Unfortunately...Gonzalez was unable to really impress the fans and garner much heat, even in this short and dominant showing for the Giant.

I'll Be Ready Yoko...

Bret Hart

I can produly stand here tonight and say, that I am a fighting champion for this company. I'm the first REAL fighting champion that this company has seen in a long time...and at Wrestlemania? I'm going to have the biggest fight I'll ever have to face, in Yokozuna. It's going to take a lot of training. Training I've already begun. It's going to take a lot of dedication...a lot of practice...and hell, I'll admit it...a heck of a lot of luck to beat Yokozuna. Yokozuna is currently undefeated, and it doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon...

Bret Hart

So you could say, Bret Hart has his work cut in for him. You could say that is the first, real, big challegne that I have faced in my career. I've proven myself up until this point but I still have my critics. I still have people doubting myabilities, because I never faced this kind of challenge before! I've never taken on the odds the way I'll be set to take them on at Wrestlemania. Everybody has me pegged to lose. My fate already seems sealed and the fact that Mr. Fuji, is intending on making it personal? Well. Let's just say people are expecting this to sting all the more once it's all said and done.

Bret Hart

I would be lying if I told you I wasn't concerned. The fight I have ahead of me. Won't be an easy one, but as long as I live and breathe...then what I live and breathe is wrestling. I've dedicated my life to it, I've dedicated every ounce of energy that I have had to it and I will not allow Yokozuna to think that he can just walk on in and take what I have strived my entire career to be...and that is to be the greatest WWF Champion that this company has ever seen. And as a great champion Yokozuna? I can promise you this! You better bring everything you have! You better make sure that you knock me down good! Because it doesn't matter what you try to take away from me on the road to our match at WrestleMania. As long as there is breath in my lungs, I will crawl on my hands and knees to that ring if I have to, to defend this belt, to represent this company as it's true fighting champion...and to give you every last drop of fight that I have, to walk away from that match, STILL the WWF Champion. I'm ready for you Yoko. Because it's my job to be ready for you. No matter the challenge. You WILL find out, as long as I have any say in it...that I AM...The Best There Is...The Best There Was...and The Best There Ever Will Be...

Name Your Price...

Money Incorporated make their way to the ring, belts around their waist and briefcases in hand. Whilst it was normal to note that IRS was carrying his patented briefcase as always. Ted Dibiase was also carrying two briefcases with him, one in each hand, with a smug and confident smirk upon his face, he can be heard yelling to the crowd how "Everybody has a price!" whilst raising the briefcases into the air. Once in the ring, Dibiase gently places the cases upon the floor, waiting as ring hands provide the two men microphones to address the crowd.

Ted Dibiase

Two weeks ago, I told you all that Money Incorporated would be working on a deal, a deal which would be beneficiary not only to Money Incorporated, not only to myself, as I wish to seek compensation for my stripped opportunity at the Royal Rumble...but also to The Steiner Brothers. Who I realize have their hearts set on a match with Money Incorporated at Wrestlemania! But you see...I'd like to think that The Steiner Brothers are reasonable men...and reasonable men always have a price! I understand that with a WrestleMania match...comes an opportunity, not only an opportunity for The Steiner Brothers to win the championship titles, but also for them to make an incredible pay check. The likes of which they will never have seen before!

Irwin R. Schyster

And the likes of which will see an exorbitant tax fee at the end of the fiscal year I'm sure! Which is why, Mr. Dibiase and I have come together, to present to The Steiner Brothers an incredible, tax free amount, one which, we assure The Steiner Brothers and the people watching at home, will be far greater than whatever amount they will earn from their Wrestlemania appearance and a personal GUARANTEE from Money Incorporated...that they will receive their championship opportunity, at a later date which can be discussed, once Mr. Dibiase has made his appeal towards WWF Management for HIS opportunity at the Wrestlemania IX Main Event! So, if The Steiner Brothers could come out, like the good business men we are most certain they are, we can present them with our monetary offer and with the necessary paperwork that we are both certain, they will agree presents an excellent deal for all parties involved!

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8LcY_4bq-NY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

UPYIIUT.jpgTzuXmOX.jpg

As The Steiner's make their way to the ring, looking all business and very dubious of Money Incorporated. Money Inc. Seemingly shows their appreciation for the group, albeit in perhaps, a very performative manner. Dibiase doing a golf clap for the team and I.R.S rushing forward to hold the ropes open for them, an offer which the Steiner's rejected, instead opting to use the stairs and head through a different set of ropes to the ones that I.R.S was holding open. They too were presented with microphones, as they made sure to keep their distance from Money Inc.

Scott Steiner

I may not like either of you...and I certainly don't respect either of you or what you stand for. But Dibiase? If you genuinely feel as if you have had an opportunity unrightfully taken away from you. I feel sorry for you for that and I believe that, even a man like you deserves the right to put forward his case...

Ted Dibiase

YOU SEE! I KNEW YOU WERE A RESONABLE MAN! And I'm sure you are too Rick! That's why it took us a little longer than it normally would to come up with...a SUBSTANTIAL amount and beneficial agreement to present to you. You see? In these cases, is a nice tidy sum of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for EACH OF YOU! That's half a million in total boys. Far more than whatever WWF management was going to give you for the tag team match that you rightfully earned! But I'm sure you can both understand! The main event of Wrestlemania was taken away from me?! Defending these belts? As riveting of a match that would be...it just wouldn't be the right and just thing to do, to let that happen and let that opportunity slip away from me. Which is why this substantial amount is sitting before you, because I don't want YOU losing your reward the same way!

Irwin R. Schyster

And it's why we will also present you with a contract that allows a delay in the match and will give you the championship match at a later date, after Mr. Dibiase has made his case, earned his Wrestlemania match and...perhaps, walked away the victor.

Rick Steiner

Half a million dollars? Split between us? That's a mighty fine offer boys...mighty fine? But you know something? It's not good enough...

Ted Dibiase

Excuse me?

Scott Steiner

He said its not good enough! See whilst money certainly is a tempting offer, especially the amount that you're offering. It isn't the price you were hoping it would be!

Ted Dibiase

Well what is your price then! Name it! If not half a million between you, how much? Three quarters? A full million? WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN! WE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN! TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU!?

Scott Steiner

No Ted...I think it's to make it right for YOU...the truth is? No amount of money that is in those cases will be good enough. No price you try to pay will be beneficial enough, and no amount of whining and groping to the WWF will change their plans for Wrestlemania...and we certainly don't intend to change ours. The only price that really matters to us? Is the price, the privilege and the prestige that comes with carrying those WWF Tag Team Championships! And Wrestlemania? Seems like the perfect place to do it...so thank you for your incredible offer, but no thank you.

Ted Dibiase.

I guess...if it's going to be like this...that only means one thing...

Suddenly the Steiner's are bum rushed, I.R.S charges at Rick Steiner with his briefcase, bashing him over the head with it, as Scott tries to react, Dibiase wraps his arms around Steiner's neck and locks in The Million Dollar Dream, slowly causing Scott to slump down, slowly slipping away into subconsciousness. With a failed offer from Money Inc. The challengers are now left battered, bruised, down and out...

Repo Man VS. Tatanka

4UW939S.jpg VS. 3VWVLjH.jpg

In a return to form for Tatanka, he put on a rather decent showing with Repo Man. Clearly being used as a vehicle for Tatanka to get his momentum back. Repo Man made for a good enough villain, using his wild and over the top antics to act like a thorn in the side of Tatanka, slipping away from his grasp at multiple points in the match using eye pokes, foot stomps and switch arounds. Even on one occasion rushing under the ring and sneaking out from the other side. Tatanka however was just a class above Repo Man and picked up a definitive win after performing his war dance and delivering a hard hitting Tomahawk Chop for the win.

Roddy Piper

I AIN'T GONNA WASTE NO TIME! YOU ALL KNOW WHAT'S BROUGHT ME HERE TONIGHT! He's a man you can use many words to describe! Opportunistic perhaps? Jealous, maybe? Idiotic? DEFINITELY! COWARDLY? ABSOLUTELY! HE WANTS TO PRETEND LIKE HE'S A BIG MAN WHEN I'VE ALREADY GOT MY HANDS FULL IN THE RING! HE WANTS TO PRETEND LIKE HE'S MAKING BIG MOVES BY TAKING ON A RETURNING RODDY PIPER! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO LET'S BRING THIS SNIVELING SLIME BALL DOWN TO THE RING! IT'S RICK MARTEL!

QDTvkZc.jpg

Roddy Piper

Would you take a little lookie at you! You know the last time I saw you around you were some middle of the road want to be, going nowhere, with all of his glory days behind him and nothing fortunate to look forward to in the future! I guess the old saying is right, huh Ricky? The more things change, the more they stay the same! BUT HEY you know what? Let me start off by actually giving you a little bit of credit! At least you actually had the guts, to show your primped up hair, your fake tanned face and your perfumed drenched, sweaty little self to the ring, to actually face me like a man! I know you're used to attacking men from behind there Rick, so if 9t makes it easier for you? I can turn around if you like?! Or would you like to address your grievances here in the open, before we tear this ring apart!

Rick Martel

The only reason I've been stuck with nowehere to go for so long, is because of people like you Roddy. Faces from the past who were so selfish, and greedy and desperate to hold on to every accolade they ever had that they weren't willing to share even the slightest bit of the spotlight with anybody looking to take THEIR chance! Take THEIR opportunity! When you returned in the Rumble. I went straight after you because I knew exactly why you were here. To steal the thunder of the younger generation once again. To talk and yack and scream and shout your way into relevance and I just couldn't stand it! Seeing you strut on down to the ring again? You are like a disease Roddy...tearing away everything good that you did for this company, for this industry, by coming back time...and time...and time again, with less and less fire than you had before.

Roddy Piper

So you think that's why I'm here? To take away the spotlight? To steal whatever opportunity I can away from some young up and comer who's earning their stripes? To make one last dash towards the top of the mountain? No...Ricky. You've got it all wrong. Unlike you? I know my day in the sun is setting. I know the sands of time are running out...and I know I still have a couple favors I need to fulfill. Favors which were not handed to me Ricky. Favors which were denied to me by the people that I respected, and the people that I held up on a pedestal. The same kind of favors you feel like you were stripped of. I'm not here to take away anybody's spotlight Ricky. I'm here to hand it to someone, to pass that torch in a way in which it was never passed to me. But YOU? No sir...you are most certainly not the man that I have in mind for that particular task. The fact of the matter is you were never given your chance to shine, because there isn't that much there to let shine in the first place! But you wanna make this a fight? Well...IT WOULD BE MY PLEASURE!

Piper unleashed with a flurry of blows, the microphone crashing against the ring mat as he launched himself at Martel. Martel was expecting this though and made a fight back at Piper, the two brawled throughout the ring amongst each other, pulling at each others hair and clothes to try and get the upper hand, slapping and jabbing at each other when they could. Eventually referees and security guards rushed the ring, trying to seperate the two, as Piper took Martel by the head and threw him into the Piper's Pit sign set up in the ring.

Memories of Macho Man...

0YD3jvm.jpgxhqh5pb.jpg

Can you believe the disrespect?! Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring...using none other thaan the entrance theme of the man he had arrested two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw. As "Pomp and Circumstance" initially ramps up, it had the fans in a roar of surprise and hope that they would see the return of the Macho Man. Once the Intercontinental Champion made his way out along the entrance ramp, accompanied as always by his "Sensational" manager and Valet Sherri Martel, it was quite clear what the fans thought of the both of them. Projectiles were hurled at the Intercontinental Champion in the forms of soda cups and empty popcorn buckets, some even half bull popcorn buckets as he showcased confidently, mimicking the macho man's mannerisms as he and Sherri reveled in the way the ring had been set up for their "memorial". A series of portraits has been propped up in the ring of the Macho Man, three to be exact:

cikwXYu.jpgSYYOGqO.jpg9M5rgv0.jpg

The first, was of Randy Savage celebrating his earliest title success in the WWF, alongside his manager and ex wife, Miss Elizabeth. The second, which sat in the exact middle of the ring, was another picture of the two celebrating together, arguable the most famous photo of Macho Man's career, with Elizabeth perched upon his shoulder, holding his newly won championship over her shoulder for him. The third and final photo, was of Macho Man at ringside, introducing Raw with Vince McMahon and Rob Bartlett. Also in the ring were collections of Macho Man memorabilia, wrestling figures, hats, boots, robes. It was made up to look like a proper celebration of the man's career and looked very respectful. But then, of course, you had to take into consideration the couple who were currently in the ring, and what they had done to the man portrayed in all of those portraits...

Shawn Michaels

Ladies and gentlemen...we are gathered here tonight, to remember and reminisce on the career...of one of the greatest disappointments to ever walk into this industry, a no good crook! A criminal! A thug! A WASHED UP HAS BEEN! We gather here tonight to BID FAREWELL TO THE LONG AND PAINFUL CAREER OF THE MACHO MAN, RANDY SAVAGE!

Shawn Michaels

You know...I didn't WANT to be the bad guy here folks, I DIDN'T! But I felt it necessary to remind you all watching, just what it is that I did for Randy Savage and then? After I've put forth my case! I think you will ALL come into agreement, that what I did two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw? Having a long established, once respected veteran of this industry carried out of the arena in handcuffs...I think you'll understand I did Randy Savage a favor!

Shawn rushes over to the portrait on the left, the picture of Randy with the intercontinental championship, the very same belt that Shawn had hoisted up upon his shoulder right now, Shawn glanced over to his championship belt, giving it a slight polish, before returning his attention to the picture before him...

Shawn Michaels

I mean would you just LOOK at what we have here?! Sherri? Sweetie! Baby! Can you do me a favor and tell me what you see in this portrait right here...

Sensational Sherri

I see the Intercontinental Championship baby!

Shawn Michaels

You're god damned right you do...let there be no mistake about it, the belt that I carry around my waist? Is one of the most prestigious belts within our industry, it is the belt that establishes your skill in this industry, it is the belt that every great wrestler who has come before me has worn, before taking the next stride into their career! Without men like Randy Savage? This belt? This belt would mean nothing. The fact that I am standing here tonight...as your Intercontinental Champion? I owe that in part, to people like Randy Savage...

There is an eerie silence in the crowd right now. They weren't expecting even the slightest modicum of respect from Shawn here tonight, especially with the way he made his entrance, but the way he was speaking, right now, about the belt and about the legacy that it had...sounded at the least like it was genuine, and couldn't really be argued against...which usually with Shawn Michaels, meant the other shoe was yet to drop...Shawn then headed to the portrait square in the center, the picture of Randy and Liz celebrating his WWF Championship victory.

Shawn Michaels

And tell me? Sherri, babydoll...can you tell me what you see in this second portrait right here?

Sensational Sherri

Well that's where Randy Savage won the WWF Championship...

Shawn Michaels

An unforgettable moment in the history of this company. I can guarantee you right now? There are people with tears welling in their eyes looking at this picture. That's what you did Randy, you evoked emotion from all these people, in ways that nobody before you ever really could and when you won that Championship and hoisted your wife up onto your shoulders? It was like we were right there with you, in that ring. Which leads me to this...

Shawn's voice turns into a low growl, as he slowly walks over to the photo of Randy Savage as a commentator on Monday Night Raw...

Shawn Michaels

Tell me sugar buns? What is it you see HERE?!

Sensational Sherri

I see a sad, worn down man, doing what he has to do to stay in the business...

Shawn Michaels

I couldn't put it any better myself pumpkin. This? This is an insult! This is the same man in the other two pictures? This is the man who helped pave a legacy for the belt that I HOLD!? Who went down as one of THE GREATEST WWF CHAMPIONS?! This is the man WHO WANTS TO USE ME TO STAY RELEVANT?! I knew you were desperate to latch on to the wrestling industry Randy. The fact that you stooped to such a low as sitting there on a weekly basis next to Vince McMahon?! NEXT TO ROB BARTLETT?! COMMENTATING?! Do you see the issue with this picture Randy?! Coz I do! One of these pictures are not like the others Randy! And I hope it might help illustrate to you what I saw! A fall from grace...a waste of talent, a waste of energy. A worn down dinosaur, clinging on in whatever way he could...by strapping on a headset and playing the fool!

Shawn Michaels

Does it make sense now Randy? Why I resorted to the methods that I did?! I mean you didn't really leave me with much choice! You were hoping I'd cave in and give you what you wanted, another shot, another opportunity, a chance to step away from that table and step back into the ring! WELL I WASN'T GOING TO LET YOU DRAG ME DOWN INTO YOUR PIT OF DESPAIR! And I certainly wasn't going to let you get within reach of this championship, so that you could besmirch everything that it stands for, EVERYTHING THAT YOU HELPED ESTABLISH! EVERYTHING THAT IHAVE MADE MY GOAL IN THIS INDUSTRY! You think I'm going to TARNISH the legacy that this belt has? A LEGACY YOU HELPED CREATE?! By letting a COMMENTATOR get near it? No sir, every dog has his day...and you had yours a long, long time ago. You wanted to act like the big man? Making moves you know you shouldn't have made? Someone had to step in. Someone had to each you a listen and Randy? Sometimes, the best way to learn...is the hard way and that's exactly how you are learning right now. Locked away somewhere, in a New York jail cell...and Randy? I don't know if you're ever going to see this, or hear about this, whilst you wait for your charges to pend through...but I hope when you see the other end of this fiasco? When you finally get to the other side? You'll look back and you'll realise...Shawn Michaels did you a favor...he stopped you from making the biggest mistake in your life, by stepping back into a wrestling ring and brother, while it PAINS me that a jail cell is the way it had to be done! I for one can say. I have no regrets, and while the sour taste is still in my mouth of what your recent career has been. I promise you. I will try, as I'm sure all of your fans will try...to remember what Randy Savage USED TO BE...while you wither away, ending your career, not with a bang, but with a whimper. Nothing more, than a common...petty...criminal...

The moment that Shawn finishes his sentence. The titantron comes up with an image of WWF President, Jack Tunney, sitting behind his desk in a formal manner as he always does, lapel microphone already placed and adjusted, and a file of papers sitting in front of him which he is flicking through, before addressing the camera.

bFq7W1d.jpg

WWF President Jack Tunney

Forgive me for interrupting you Shawn, but as I'm sure some of the people at home are aware, the WWF has been engaging with formal conversations, and even negotiations with the New York City Police Department, regarding the matter of the assault charges you wished to bring upon Macho Man Randy Savage. It was not the easiest process, it took scouring through contracts from the WWF legal team and extended negotiations with the NYPD to reach a suitable conclusion and agreement for the parties included.

WWF President Jack Tunney

You see, after our legal experts looked through the wording of both Randy Savage's contract and your own contract Shawn, we were able to provide a case to the New York Police Department. It is true, as a member of the WWF Commentary team, Randy Savage is unauthorized to engage in any kind of physical contact with active talent, unless of course, you come to the agreement which you were already aware of and unwilling to participate in. However, as both yourself and Randy Savage are under WWF Contract, in the event that Randy Savage were to engage in physical contact as he did with you. It would fall on the WWF management to deal with the issue, as both yourself and Randy Savage are classified as WWF talent and any and all matters between WWF talent are legally the responsibility of the WWF to handle. So, to put it simply. You waived any legal matters in regards to Randy Savage into the hands of the WWF, the WWF Legal team and the WWF President, which is of course...myself.

WWF President Jack Tunney

So, allow me to explain the agreement we have managed to procure with the NYPD, Mister Michaels. As of this moment, Randy Savage will be released into the custody of the WWF, any and all charges pending by you are now on hold until this matter can potentially be resolved vis the WWF. How do we intend to resolve this matter? Quite simply this. Next week, as Randy Savage is still unable to physically compete, he will instead choose a delegate, a representative, who will face in you in the Main Event on next week's Monday Night Raw! If you are victorious? Then the WWF will suspend Randy Savage indefinitely and induce a heavy fine on him for his actions against you. If you are defeated? Then you must sign the paperwork which will give Randy Savage an opportunity to fight you in the ring, at none other than Wrestlemania!

Ric Flair/Lex Luger VS. Mr Perfect/ Brutus Beefcake

5XO9XMY.jpgJ7wNdrQ.jpg VS. feZsp3x.jpgHnABYKL.jpg

The main event is, without a doubt the biggest highlight of the night. Fans were on the edge of their seats to see Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect get their hands on each other. Although it seemed Flai was determined to stop that from happening. Using any opportunity he could to tag in Lex Luger whenever Mr. Perfect hopped into the ring. The match was a hot back and forth between the two teams, where even the black sheep of the match, Brutus Beefcake put in a decent performance that could be commended along with the other stars. The match would come to an end when Luger put Brutus Beefcake away with an impressive and powerful Powerbomb for the win. Using the ropes as leverage whilst Flair distracted Perfect.

Vince McMahon

WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! I'm VinceMcMahon joined as always by Rob Bartlett and ladies and gentlemen it is a pleasure to welcome back to the commentary table this week, none other than the Macho Man Randy Savage! It is so good to have you back here sitting with us once again Randy!

Randy Savage

It;s good to be back Vince and I want to start by sending a personal thank you to President Jack Tunney, Yeah! Without his hard work who knows? Maybe I woulda still been stuck with the Police department, but now? I'm back here on Monday Night Raw! I GOT A FRONT ROW SEAT FOR THE MAIN EVENT! And I can't WAIT for Shawn Michaels to get what's coming to him!

Vince McMahon

Yes that's right folks, Shawn Michaels is set to face an opponent of Randy's choice, if the opponent wins? Shawn will have to face Randy at Wrestlemania IX, if Shawn wins...then this may be the last week we see Randy for some time, as he would be suspended by WWF management

Rob Bartlett

Can you tell us who you picked Randy?! I gotta know!

Randy Savage

You're just gonna have to wait like everybody else Bartlett!

Vince McMahon

Well it's certainly a night of excitement ahead of us and we'll be starting it all off, with another showing from the MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE WORLD! KEN SHAMROCK!

Ken Shamrock Vs. Virgil

9MspyBP.jpgxBjdnDr.jpg

Ken Shamrock might still have a ways to go before he finds himself climbing the ladder in the WWF, but with Bobby Heenan now by his side as his manager, the momentum already seems to be building. The second time for Shamrock in ring already saw a boost in the fan reaction thanks to his previous domination. And the performance he put against Virgil? Was just as dominant, to say that Shamrock came across as a wrestling machine is appropriate. His moves were hard hitting, on point, and indeed, seemed incredibly dangerous with the raw power that Shamrock put behind them. Just like his previous match, Shamrock would pick up the win once he locked in his Ankle Lock against Virgil.

Owen Hart Vs. Repo Man

HwDge0c.jpg4UW939S.jpg

Another good showing from Owen Hart who is working his way up the ranks in the WWF, the young up and comer was showing more and more signs of the greatness we come to expect from the Hart family, with his fast paced and athletic style, Owen impressed the crowd with flips and dives that were still somewhat rare in the WWF at this time, he picked up a well deserved victory on the Repo Man after hitting him with a Diving Cross Body from the top rope.

After The Match

HwDge0c.jpgbzaNPmP.jpg

After the match Owen is celebrating when all of a sudden, the celebrations are brought to an unexpected end with the appearence of Yokozuna, making his way down the ramp towards the ring, staring intensely at Own Hart. Clearly Yoko is here to make some sort of statement against the Hart family, with Wrestlemania getting closer, we need to remember the promise that Mr. Fuji made to Bret! He said that Yokozuna would take away everything that Bret loved! Owen however does not back down easily, he stands there in the ring ready, waiting for Yokozuna, expecting a fight, and as Yoko steps over the rope, Owen tries to give him one! He rushes at Yokozuna trying to deliver a flurry of kicks, spinning round and jumping he delivers a boot straight to Yokozuna's gut, but Yoko shakes it off, grabbing young Own by the neck, he he scoops him up with ease and slams him down to the ground! Yoko treats Owen like his play thing, jumping up into the air and delivering a HEAVY splash straight across Owen's torso.

Not finished with the young Hart family member just yet, Yoko slowly drags Owen towards the corner, the crowd crying out in horror as they know exactly what this means. Yokozuna screams out for all to hear....BANZAIIII!!

As he climbs the ropes, the audience is relieved when they see a savior, making his way towards the action...

IT'S BRET!

Bret comes running down the ramp at lightning speed! Chair in hand to come and rescue his brother! Yoko spots Bret as he sits on the top rope. It's the fastest we've seen Yoko move yet as he quickly steps off the top rope and onto the ring apron. As Bret enters the ring with the chair, Yoko quickly hops off and backs away, stepping overt the barricade. The security guards immediately have to step between Yokozuna and the fans as some of them try to get their hands on the big man as he leaves through the audience. Bret pulls his brother back up to his feet, patting him on the back and making sure he is okay...

Razor Ramon

You know something chicos? I have been wracking my brain for weeks, tryin' to figure out the answer to the question...that has ruined the minds of so may men who came before me. What is The Undertaker's weakness? Hmm? Believe it or not, The Deadman? even he has a weakness my friends and Razor Ramon? El Jefe? He has it all figured out mi amigos. See the fat man? El Gordo? Paul Bearer I think they call him? He is the link I need to get to The Undertaker...he walks around with him wherever he goes and whenever he calls The Undertaker's name, The Deadman comes crawling to his service! Why oh why would that big dead man do anything that little pig man says, mi amigos, hmm?

Razor Ramon

The urn...of course. Whoever controls the urn, controls The Deadman...and pig man Bearer? I'd say you've been controllin' The Undertaker...for...far...too...long chico. I think that someone should do The Undertaker a favor and remove that little urn from your fat little fingers eh? Now I know it's gonna' be hard. Hey...I may even get a few licks in on the way, but power? That's EXACTLY what I want and it's EXACTLY what I'll NEED when I face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania! And that urn? That has all the power any man can ask for in this company. Doesn't it deadman?

Razor Ramon

I hope you've got eyes in the back of your head chico! Coz you're gonna need them now wherever you go. Look round every corner, peek around your shoulders every chance you get and make sure your little pig stays close by and doesn't run off to far from your sights! Because if he does? One day? I'll be there mi amigo...and trust me...Paul Bearer? You don't want me anywhere NEAR him...because when I get my hands on that urn? It's going to be a whole different story for you Undertaker. I promise you that...

Bam Bam Bigelow Vs El Matador

h1he3Lg.jpgfSCzifp.jpg

In a competitive bout that saw strength vs speed. El Matador brought a valiant fight against Bam Bam, but the waning effects of time seem to be taking their toll on the once prominent star of the WWF. Despite his valiant efforts, El Matador was unable to keep fighting back against the relentless hammering of Bam Bam's strikes and slams. Bam Bam Bigelow would pick up the win against El Matador with a big running body splash for the pinfall.

A Position I'd Rather Not Be In...

vQORZpI.jpgm5ok6t5.jpg

Gene Okerlund

Ladies and gentlemen Mean Gene here with Macho man Randy Savage! First oi all Randy...it is a pleasure to have you back with us after the trouble that Shawn Michaels put you in a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, when he had you arrested by the New York City Police Department!

Randy Savage

The trouble he put me in, I couldn't have put it better myself Mean Gene, Yeah...THE TROUBLE HE PUT ME IN! Shawn Michaels put me in a situation I'd rather not be in, yeah that's right. He had The Macho Man confined in a cell, surrounded by four walls, SLOWLY LOSING HIS MAN WITH RAGE! I was on the brink Mean Gene, I was teetering on the edge while Jack Tunney made his negotiations with the boys in blue, but when I heard news of the potential agreement that the WWF was going to come to with the New York City Police Department, well a little bit of hope couldn't help but flutter on back into my heart, yeah, coz you know what they give you when you get into prison don't you Mean Gene?

Mean Gene

What is that?

Randy Savage

They give you a phone call...now don't get me wrong. I didn't want to make this phone call Gene, I hadn't made this phone call in quite some time. I hadn't spoken to this person...in quite some time, but like I said, SHAWN MICHAELS PUT ME IN A POSITION I'D RATHER NOT BE IN! And when a match at Wrestlemania is up for grabs against the Intercontinental Champion, you know that the Macho Man is going to do whatever it takes! And that's exactly what I did when I made that phone call Gene. I knew just the man to bring into the ring against Shawn Michaels. We did some talkin', we did a lot of talkin' And you know somethin' Mean Gene? I couldn't be happier with the result...

Mean Gene

Who did you call Randy? Who's coming in to fight Shawn Michaels for you?! To try and earn you that match at Wrestlemania?!

Randy Savage

Who's coming to fight Shawn? WHO'S COMING TO FIGHT HIM? WELL....You'll just have to find out like everybody else, won't you Mean Gene?

Main Event

Shawn Michaels VS. ???

0YD3jvm.jpg

Shawn makes his way out to the ring reluctantly, not looking the slightest bit happy about the fact that he has to wrestle this match, waiting in the bottom right corner for his chosen opponent to arrive. A couple awkward moments of silence pass as the audience stares towards the ramp, waiting for the mystery opponent to arrive. A smirk slowly grows on Shawn's face as confusion sweeps across the crowd as the silence continues, Vince and Rob look worried for Randy on commentary, although Randy is just sitting there calm and stoic, waiting. The confidence grows in Shawn as he slowly turns around and leans against the ropes, mouthing to Randy Savage "Well? Where are they?" Shawn shrugs mockingly, when all of a sudden, when it seems like nobody is going to come out, the music hits....

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eCos4uiKQlw" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Shawn's face drops in shock as "Real American" hits the PA system, the crowd erupt in a chorus of cheers. All of them rushing to their feet to make sure they get a look and see that they aren't being taken advantage of and teased and it is going to be exactly who it is. A smile appears on Randy's face at commentary as his colleagues begin losing their mind

Vince McMahon

I can't believe it! The representative for Randy Savage? It can't be...IT CAN'T BE....

vppOhaY.jpg

Vince McMahon

IT IS! IT'S HULK HOGAN! IT'S HULK HOGAN! HULK HOGAN IS BACK IN THE WWF! HULKAMANIA IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THE WWF ONCE AGAIN!

As Hogan emerges on the stage in his traditional red and yellow garb, the eruption from the crowd is arguably the loudest that we have heard on Monday Night Raw yet, a former friend AND enemy of Macho Man Randy Savage, it seems that Hogan has been brought back to the WWF in order to help his old friend get the shot he wanted so bad against Shawn!

The match begins with Shawn immediately trying to back off and reason with the Hulkster, almost getting down to his knees and begging, pleading with Hogan, telling him he doesn't need to do this! Hogan just looks down, and shakes his head at Shawn, grabbing him by the hair and pulling him up to his feet, before tossing him towards the corner and with that the match went underway, Hogan delivering a series of hard hitting chops to Shawn in the corner, stopping with a smile after each chop as he hears the crowd reaction. He yanks Shawn back from the corner, scoops him up and slams him dead center in the ring, before returning his attention to the crowd, bringing his hand up to his ear.

While Hogan takes his time to pose, Shawn kips up and runs against the ropes, as Hogan turns around he is met with a flying forearm from Michaels, knocking him down to the ground, Shawn kips up again and immediately begins resorting to dirty tactics. He yanks off Hogan's bandana and places his feet against Hogan's hair, treading in it before grabbing both of Hogan's arms and pulling him upwards.

The match would continue with Shawn picking away at Hogan bit by bit, knowing that Hogan had him outmatched in size, Shawn instead tried wearing him out, running away from him, spinning around him before delivering cheap shots to the back of the head or knocking Hogan down with chop blocks to the backs of his legs. Shawn even managed to successfully teardrop suplex Hogan before rushing to the top rope to try and deliver his pattented diving elbow. When he went for the dive however, Hogan managed to roll out of the way just in time and began Hulking himself up, feeding from the frenzy of the crowd. As both men got to their feet, Shawn delivered a shot, shaken off by Hogan, followed by another shot, and another, both times shaken off, as Shawn tried to deliver a hard hitting blow, Hogan blocked, then through his own back, then a second, and a third, then whipping Shawn against the ropes, delivering a big boot straight to the face! The fans get up on their feet in anticipation as Hogan again puts his hands towards his ears, hearing their cheers. He runs against the ropes, delivering a devastating Atomic Leg Drop, picking up the win and giving Randy Savage the much needed chance against Shawn At Wrestlemania IX. The show ends with Hogan and Savage meeting together in the ring, nodding to each other with respect and shaking hands...

Vince McMahon

WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! VINCE MCMAHON HERE JOINED AS ALWAYS BY ROB BARTLETT AND THE MACHO MAN, RANDY SAVAGE! Gentlemen? Another week down? Another week close to WRESTLEMANIA IX and things are most certainly heating up! Last week saw the return of arguably the greatest star to ever enter our industry, the immortal, the legendary Hulk Hogan! Hogan returned last week to face Shawn Michaels in the Main Event and walked away the victor, giving my broadcast colleague Randy Savage an opportunity to face The Intercontinental Champion at Wrestlemania!

Randy Savage

Yeah that's right Vince! It's been a rocky road between the Hulkster and I, but we managed to put our differences aside for the time being yeah, and it'll be my honor to personally welcome him back properly in front of all these fans here tonight!

Rob Bartlett

On top of that, with Razor Ramon searching to get his grasps on The Undertaker's urn in a desperate attempt to gain leverage on The Deadman, it seems Taker's manager and confidant Paul Bearer, has his own revelations for The Bad Guy tonight as he will personally call upon Razor to meet face to face in the ring, without any Undertaker there to back him up. One has to wonder if Razor will use this as an opportunity to snag the Urn away from Bearer?

Vince McMahon

And in our Main Event, WWF Champion Bret Hart will be facing off in one on one action against one half of The Headshrinkers, the young and impressive Fatu. Last week the champion found himself having to come to the rescue of his brother, as his Wrestlemania Challenger, Yokozuna made an attempted attack on the young Own Hart. Thankfully Bret was able to succeed but you do have to wonder, with the Hitman now having to look over his shoulder, how that might affect his in ring game here tonight. We've got all that and MORE for you tonight as always folks, whatever you do, don't change that dial. It's MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Doink VS. Jim Duggan

jvV1Vp6.jpgtRG5KZt.jpg

Whilst on paper this match may seem...odd, it resulted in an entertaining and interesting opener as Doink The Clown got his first real chance to show the WWF fan base he was not just some cooky character that was the creation of WWF management. While an evil clown may seem a hard thing to buy for the WF fans. This match solidified Doink as a nasty heel. Who took enjoyment out of the pain and anguish he was causing Jim Duggan and evading him at all costs while doing so. Duggan would make a comeback and deliver a rally of blows which knocked Doink over the top rope, but when Duggan followed out after him, Doink went underneath the ring apron. Despite Duggan's best efforts, he was unable to catch Doink who managed to escape out of the other side of the ring and rolling back in. When Duggan headed back in after him, he was met with a kick straight to the gut and pulled into a Stump Puller for Doink to pick up the win...

Jerry Lawler VS. Roddy Piper

crNgwKr.jpgDHoxkre.jpg

It was a treat for the fans in attendence to see a battle between two established stars of the wrestling industry square off against each other for what anybody can recall might actually be the first time. Lawler and Piper seemed to be an odd but actually interesting match up as both men were masters of the art of dirty fighting and whilst Piper's new leaf may see him resorting less to the sneaky tricks of old. He knew better than to hold back when facing off against the King. What resulted was perhaps not the most action packed match, but one which definitely entertained the fans as we saw two sly superstars try and outwit each other. The match came to an abrupt end however...

QDTvkZc.jpg

When Rick Martel interfered and knocked Piper down to the ground with a sickening chair shot, causing the match to reult in a win for Piper, but only thanks to Disqualification due to the interference from Rick Martel...

Casket Confrontation

We fade in to an in ring segment, Paul Bearer is standing in the ring, lights dimmed to almost total darkness, only slight glimmers of lights shining down to show the fans what's going on in ring. Bearer seems alone, no sign of The Undertaker near him, the urn held tightly in his grasps. At ringside, a wooden boz is laying upon a plinth, a casket, built by The Undertaker himself, etched into the wood are the words "Razor Ramon, Wrestlemania IX" upon it. Bearer stares at the casket with a smirk upon his face, stroking the urn in his hands, muttering to it, whispering to it. He slowly raises his other hand, holding a microphone and addresses the crowd before him.

x6CrvZH.jpg

Paul Bearer

Good evening ladies and gentlemen...children of the night...if you recall the last time we met, you all witnessed my Undertaker in the process of constructing a casket...with all of his concentration, all of his focus, all of his ANGER AND FURY! A casket which is aimed towards holding one body and one body alone! And that is the body which belongs to the man, who wronged my Undertaker at the Royal Rumble, who has made it HIS PERSONAL MISSION...to try and use the reputation of my Undertaker to further his own aspirations for fame and fortune...a man who has made it HIS MISSION, to try and steal away My Undertaker's precious urn. A man who calls himself "The Bad Guy", so confident in his abilities, so sure that he'll be able to do what so many others before him have failed to do...but like so many others before him, he will find that he has been the creator OF HIS OWN UNDOING! THAT THE HELL MY UNDERTAKER WILL PLACE HIM TO REST IN...WAS ONE OF HIS OWN CREATION!

Paul Bearer

ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH RAZOR RAMON? TO STARE THE REAPER IN THE EYE! ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH TO LOOK UPON YOUR OWN FATE! A FATE OF YOUR OWN CREATION! A CASKET OF YOUR OWN CREATION! A LIVING HELL WHICH WILL FALL UPON YOU AT WRESTLEMANIA! IN THE FORM OF THE FURIOUS ANGER OF MY UNDERTAKER!

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3ibKmjlVAUQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Razor Ramon

Well, well, well...if it isn't the fat man...El Gordo. 'Ello chico. Allow me to say for a moment...that it is a pleasure to finally get to see you face to face, and an honor to see the efforts that your precious Undertaker has gone to for little old me. It really warms my heart knowing that I'm living right up there in that head of his so much, that he took the time...and the effort to create a casket just for me. It's just a shame that when everything is all said and done come Wrestlemania? It won't be me who is resting within it mi amigo. Because once I have my hands on that precious urn? I'll be using it to take the Undertaker and use him like my own...little...puppet and without a moment of hesitation? Without even a second thought chico? It'll be you he slams within that little wooden box...and it'll be me he listens to, from that moment on...

Paul Bearer

YOU'LL NEVER GET YOUR HANDS ON THIS URN! MY UNDERTAKER WILL MAKE SURE OF IT!

Razor Ramon

Oh is that so, chico? Let me guess? He's waiting for me in the casket, yes? I've seen these mind games from people who faced your little toy before and while it may have worked on hem, it certainly won't work on my piggy. Come on, let's go say hello to your Undertaker, eh?

Ramon makes his way ringside to the casket, clearly mocking and taunting the situation while he does so, not even taking it the slightest bit seriously. At first knocking and tapping at different parts of the casket, as if to try and wake The Undertaker up or let him know that Ramon knows he is in there. He slowly places his hand on the lid, presenting a mocking look of fear and hesitation upon his face, but clearly prepared to face whatever is inside. He tosses the casket open and....it is empty. Inside it is lined with velvet bedding and pillows for the intended person within. In this case the velveting is red to try and match the color scheme of Razor Ramon, but no Undertaker, what Ramon and probably the rest of the WWF fan base were expecting to happen, didn't happen. It was indeed, just an empty casket. Ramon slowly turned to face Bearer with a growing smile looming upon his face as he crawled back into the ring, Bearer slowly backing away...

Razor Ramon

He really wasn't in there. You really came out here without him didn't you?

Razor takes a few steps closer towards Bearer, who is now backed up into the corner, clutching the urn tighter and tighter towards his chest...

Razor Ramon

You know...some people might call you brave for coming out here to address me without your big, bad Undertaker by your side. Me? I just call it stupidity chico...

Bearer is backed up as far as he can go, pressed right into the turnbuckle pads, he raises the urn into the air as Razor is almost face to face with him, the cheshire cat grin upon his face when suddenly...

BONG

Any lighting left goes completely dark, only the cheers of the audience can be heard after the bell of The Undertaker sounds, you can now hear Paul Bearer laughing in his shrill, screeching, ghostly voice. Once the lights return to the arena, Paul Bearer is nowhere to be seen, Ramon is left looking at an empty corner and now...the fans erupt...

ml6t3h5.jpg

IT'S UNDERTAKER! UNDERTAKER IS STOOD RIGHT BEHIND RAMON!

Ramon turns around and is immediately met with Undertaker's hand firmly grasped around his neck! The deadman's eyes roll back in his head as the blank white iris's stare straight into Ramon's soul. He hoists Razor up into the air and chokeslams him straight into the middle of the mat! Taker gets upon one knee and raises his hand as he looks directly toward the casket he has crafted for Razor Ramon...

I.R.S VS. Scott Steiner

rddwxkt.jpgUPYIIUT.jpg

We return to the regularly scheduled action. While some may have initially thought of this as a throw away match, it turned out to be one of the highlights in terms of in ring action for the night as the unlikely one on one pairing of Scott Steiner and I.R.S saw a competitive, hard hitting, battle of strength and power between two athletes who also showcased a surprising amount of speed and technical prowess as well. Whether it was an impressive Hurricanrana from Steiner as I.R.S rebounded off of the ropes, or a powerful fall away slam from I.R.S. the two managed to capture the attention of the WWF audience in an unexpected manner. The two would meet n a collision as they charged at each other, tumbling to the ground and initiating the referees count.

When suddenly...

I4R110x.jpg

Ted Dibiase makes an appearence from the audience, he rushes over to ringside, grabbing a hold of the referees attention. The camera lingers as we see words exchanged between the referee and Ted Dibiase and then...something seems to be exchanging hands between the two as Dibiase reaches into his pocket and hands it towards the ref. All of a sudden, the referee calls for the bell. Assisting I.R.S to his feet as Dibiase enters the ring to help raise his partners hand in victory. It seems thanks to the efforts and bribery of Ted Dibiase, the referee called for a disqualification finish, handing the victory to I.R.S Stating that Steiner used an "illegal move" as the poor excuse for what is the obvious corruption on his part thanks to the price that Dibiase paid for the referee ruling.

Welcome Back Hogan

m5ok6t5.jpg

We fade in to see Macho Man Randy Savage, standing away from commentary, currently in the center of the ring, amidst a decorated set of red and yellow ribboning across the turnbuckle and ropes, a sea of audience members excited, raising their signs for the returning face of their child hoods. A slight grin crosses the Macho Man's face as he looks across the crowd and can't help but think back to the roller coaster relationship he had with the man he is here to welcome back tonight.

Randy Savage

You know while I was there in custody with the NYPD, waitin' for Jack Tunney to put together a deal, waiting for word on what it would take to get me out of the mess that I was in. My mind went over a lot of the things that I had done in my career, a lot of the people I'd seen, friends I'd made, friendships I'd ruined...and when I got word that Jack Tunney had managed to organize a match for me, where I would get to pick the wrestler who would face Shawn Michaels for me to give me my chance against him at Wrestlemania. There was one name I couldn't help but mull over again and again...one man, one friend, one enemy...who had been an inseparable part of my career, and that man was none other...than Hulk Hogan, yeah. I won't be afraid to admit it...makin' that phone call was hard, I coulda called anybody else. Anybody from my past, anybody here on the roster. I had people who I knew who would have done the same favor for me that Hulk Hogan did...but the only man who I felt certain could get the job done, the only man who I KNEW wouldn't allow for any shenanigans from the Intercontinental Champion. Was a man who, for a long time, I considered a friend...and perhaps, even longer now...a man who I considered an enemy.

Randy Savage

I want to make something clear, there is a lot of work to be done when it comes to the relationship between myself and Hulk Hogan, but there comes a time in every man's life, where he has to swallow his pride, reach out...and make the effort, and I did just that when I made the desperate phone call. He coulda said no. Hell, I was expectin' him to say no. The last memory Hulk Hogan has of me? Is me turning against him and destroying the team that everybody may remember, known as The Mega Powers...I let my paranoia get the better of me, I let my jealousy get the better of me...I let my rage get the better of me...and Hulk Hogan? He was the man who I channeled all of that towards. So to say, I was surprised he said he would come and help me...is the understatement of the year believe you me, but to also say I am thankful...and grateful that he was willing to put every bit of hostility we may have towards one another to the side, even if it may be temporarily...to help me in my time of need. Is something I can not amount with words. So ladies, gentlemen...I think, rather than lamenting on the complicated mess that is my relationship with Hulk Hogan, I think it best to instead, just the way he did, put everything to the side, at least temporarily and ask for him to come out and get the proper thank you...and the proper welcome from you all, that he deserves!

Hulk Hogan

....WELL LET ME TELL YA' SOMETHIN' MACHO!

Hulk Hogan

I know that you and I may never find ourselves on the best of terms ever again after the history that we have together dude! But if you think for one second that I was going to let that slimy snake Shawn Michaels continue gettin' away puttin' you through the hell he was? Then brother, you've got another thing coming! I could not, even with all the hard feelings, the bad memories, the way it all came to an end for you, me and The Mega Powers brother, I couldn't in good faith allow some young punk to wrongfully put you away in the slammer Macho! That's why...whilst Hulkster was away in Hollywood, clangin' and bangin in the gym, lookin' for the next big thing that would bring Hulkamania across the world, when I got that hone call from you brother? I didn't need much time to think, I didn't need much time to hesitate! I didn't come back to the WWF for the love or the friendship of Randy Savage! I did it because it was THE RIGHT THING TO DO BROTHER!

Hulk Hogan

Now some of the little Hulkamaniacs out there...and the not so little Hulkamaniacs who are now all grown up, gettin' jacked, gettin' swole coz they listened to the Hulkster's advice way back when of sayin' the prayers, takin' the vitamins, they just might be wonderin' exactly how long Hulkamania is gonna' be runnin wild for. They might just be wonderin' whether or not the ride is only temporary my dude! Well you know somethin'? I thought it just might be, I thought I'd come back, do a favor for the Macho Man, get one last shot in the spotlight then ride on out in the sunset dude...but the Hulkster has to admit, hearin' the cheers, hearin' the applause, hearin' the fans still chant my name, share their love, hearing the Hulkamaniacs run wild, AS IF I NEVER WENT AWAY?! It lit a fire in me brother, it lit a fire in me that I don't know how to put out! So let me make it clear, while I'm here for the whole world to hear! As long as all my fellow Hulkamaniacs out there chant my name, raise those signs and wear the yellow and red stripes with pride, HULKAMANIA WILL NEVER DIE!

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UBssR-GsflY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

J7wNdrQ.jpg746yMJu.jpg

The fans moods are immediately ruined as soon as the majestic trumpets marking the arrival of Lex Luger blast out across the PA System, their boos are only enhances when they see him make his way out to the stage joined by...Bobby The Brain heenan of all people? Hogan's face turns to one of disgust as he sees The Brain standing beside Luger, shaking his head in disapproval. Heenan in the meanwhile is showing nothing else but total and utter bravado and confidence as he escorts Luger towards the ring, helping procure microphones for both himself and for the man he was accompanying who seem to be ruining the festivities for Hogan here tonight. Hogan motions over to Macho Man, instructing him to leave the ring in case things were to suddenly turn ugly. macho does so reluctantly and makes his way back to the commentary table as we are left with Hogan, Luger and Heenan in the ring...

Bobby Heenan

Well, well, well....would ya' look who it is? You just couldn't stay away could you? You just couldn't learn when to leave well enough alone, call it a day and leave the boots hanging could you? You know the sad thing? I'm not even shocked! I'm not even the SLIGHTEST BIT SURPRISED! I knew from the moment I laid eyes on you Hogan. That you were a grandstander, a show boater, so self obsessed, so self absorbed with how relevant YOU are, with how important YOU are, with what the wrestling world thinks about YOU...I knew, when that clock started ticking, when the hands of time started stealing away that spotlight from you. You'd find a way to shove your way back into the fray...and like clockwork? Here you are, on cue, and in the flesh. I'd say that it's good to see you again...but I'd be lying...because when I saw you come out the way you did last week? Doing what you do best, making sure the spotlight is centered on you and you alone. I couldn't help but feel sorry for some of the younger talent around the locker room Hogan. I couldn't help but feel INSULTED on their behalf. I couldn't help but wonder how they felt? Seeing you manage to once again catapult yourself straight into stardom, as if you'd never gone away...

Hulk Hogan

Is that why he's with you Heenan? Is he your newest lapdog now? I thought you'd stepped away from managing Bobby. Taking it easy on the commentary table with Gorilla. I thought you're reputation had finally gotten so bad, that nobody was willing to partner up with you any more...

Bobby Heenan

You can mock me all you like Hogan! This company might not like the fact that there are stars, still DESPERATE to get the priceless advice from a manager of my caliber, this company may not like the fact that I'm able to break free from the shackles they tried to confine me in at commentary whilst they tried replacing me on their main show with two bit hack comedians! But the fact of the matter is? Unlike you? My repuation is far more prestine! People hear the name Bobby heenan, youknow what they think? They think of success! They think of progress! They think of money! THEY THINK OF CHAMPIONSHIPS HOGAN! THAT'S WHY KEN SHAMROCK SAID YES....And after last week? Seeing you? That's why, I can proudly say...that this man, right by my side, has become the newest member of the Heenan family...

Hulk Hogan

Luger, listen you don't need him to be successful brother...I may not agree with how you handle yourself but...

Lex Luger

How I handle myself? That's rich, isn't it? Coming from you? This industry, has a time honored tradition Hogan. A tradition that states men like you, in their waning years. When the success is starting to drop, when the peak has come and gone and the valleys are starting to form. You help make way for the newer faces. You help pave their roads to success, that one day or another, you pass that torch and help light the way for the new generation. What did you do? Huh? Where were you? You were off, trying to make it big as a movie star, trying to get your name as far away from this industry as you possibly could and now that you've realized that nobody wants your ridiculous ass...you've come crawling back to the only place that would take you. You want to act like nothing has changed...like it's still the eighties and you've just slammed Andre! You know...I wasn't around when you were first here, but I've heard the stories, from all the people who you helped keep in the shadows while you soaked up all the spotlight...and now you want to come back...and do it again? Not on my watch brother...

Hulk Hogan

Luger you can't be serious! You've been letting Heenan into your ear dude! It ain't like that I was just...

Lex Luger

YOU WERE JUST HOPING TO COME ON BACK AND CASH A CHEQUE! No matter the cost! The matter the damage it does to this company, to this industry and no matter who you have to leg drop to help make it happen! Heenan was right about you...he was ALWAYS right about you...you made sure you never had to pay back your fair share and while you were carrying that belt around your waist and the company on your back? Very few people could argue with you? But now? It's a new decade, it's a new company...and I'll be damned if I let you charge on in and treat it likeit's a paid vacation for you. You want to step back in the ring, and revive Hulkamania? Well then? It'll be my pleasure to re introduce you to the WWF...

With that, Luger charges at Hogan and strikes him with a bionic elbow! The same elbow which Luger has filled with titanium alloy on the inside! Heenan just laughs as Luger lays in a couple boots for extra measure, but with a tap on the shoulder. Luger stops at Heenan's instruction, as Heenan kneels down, muttering something to Hogan that the cameras are unable to hear, before the two make their way towards the back...

Bret Hart VS. Fatu

vTUarpH.jpgmmPG5T7.jpg

In an impressive showing of athleticism and speed, the tag team specialist Fatu showed he had the chops to also go one on one in a main event capacity as he squared off against none other than the WWF Champion. An opportunity to put on a good showing like this clearly did not go over the young up and comer's head and he managed to put together the goods to help create what was easily the match of the night. Fatu's offensive was hard hitting, fast, athletic and powerful and put Bret to the test through every m0oment of the match. From the relentless Samoan chops delivered to Bret's chest, to a moment in the match where the champion found himself rebounding off the ropes, only to be tossed up into the air and then driven hard with a powerful Samoan drop into the mat. It was clear that Fatu's intent was to show himself as a mainstay on the WWF roster and to give the champion everything he had, and that he did. Bret was perhaps for some, surprisingly challenged in this match and although in the end, the experience of the Hitman is what could be argued help him pick up the victory when he managed to slide between the legs of Fatu, grabbing one of them, yanking the young star to the ground then synching in the Sharpshooter for the win. It's clear that Fatu made a statement not only to the WWF fanbase, but also the WWF management as well.

After The Match

vTUarpH.jpgbzaNPmP.jpg

After the match, during Bret's celebrations, he is swiftly and suddenly interrupted by his challenger for Wrestlemania, Yokozuna who is making his way to the ring from the crowd, pushing and shoving his way through the audience who are trying their best to block him from getting to the Hitman. Bret on the other hand, wanting to get his hands on Yoko after the attempted assault the monster made against Bret's brother Own last week, stands firm inside the ring, motioning for the crowd to let him come through and hit the ring. When Yoko eventually gets to the ring, a brawl ensues between the two wrestlers. At first Yokozuna is the obvious superior in the test of strength that ensues, although Bret tries to fight back, he finds himself shoved across the ring, tumbling and rolling to the floor, rebounding slightly off the ropes before quiickly returning to his feet. He spins around and steps carefully, making sure not to give the monster an advantage and the two tie up again, with a swift kick to the back of Yoko's leg, Bert manages to wrap his arms around the big man's neck and tug on it, running towards the ropes he jumps up on to the middle rope and rebounds with Yokozuna for an impressive bulldog. As Bret and Yoko jump back up to their feet, it seems Bret is returning with his own momentum, using his athletic knowledge to overcome the size and stature of Yokozuna. He charges and hits Yoko with a strike, to which Yoko shrugs off, he takes another running start against Yoko, but this time the monster from the East grabs Bret by his neck, he hoists him up into the air and throws him out over the top rope, causing Bret's spine to collide with the hard cement of the floor, writhing in agony. It's at this point, E.M.T's, referees and security rush the ring, making sure that nothing else continues that could potentially risk the Wrestlemania Main Event....

It's been a tumultuous past couple of months for yourself, your rivalry with Ric Flair has gotten personal, it's already seen you see a defeat at the hands of Flair at the Royal Rumble and ever since after that match where The Nature Boy tried to remove you of your hair, things have only heated up since between you two. With the WWF offices confirming that you two will indeed be meeting in the ring again at Wrestlemania, what exactly is on your mind right now regarding the situation with Ric Flair?</p><p> </p><p> Mr. Perfect</p><p> Mean Gene you mention my loss at the Royal Rumble against Flair...you mention that moment where he grabbed me by my hair and started snipping away with those scissors...and Gene I'd be lying if I told you I hadn't been thinking about that night. It's a moment gene, which keeps playing in my head, over and over and over again...and hearing Ric Flair's words to me that he's said since that night. How he wanted me to feel lost. How he wanted me to question who I was. How he wanted me to feel, the same way HE felt. stripped of his pride, stripped of hisidentity...and stripped of his dignity. Mean Gene. I am a very proud man, but I will not hesitate to admit, for some time there? Ric Flair succeeded in what he wanted to achieve.</p><p> </p><p> Gene Okerlund</p><p> I realize it may be a touchy subject to expand on that and if you wish to leave it at that I understand but I feel as if I have to ask for the fans at home what you mean by that staement?</p><p> </p><p> Mr. Perfect</p><p> Ric Flair is partially right about a few things. My career? It hasn't been going the way I want it to lately. I've got the fans behind me now, and that means a lot, but in the ring, in terms of success, in terms of accolades...in terms of being able to carry the moniker of "Mr. Perfect"? I'll admit...Ric Flair had me questioning myself, especially after that night at the Royal Rumble...and I'll also admit for a couple weeks there that Flair had me hesitant, Flair had me where he wanted me and for one moment, just one moment there Flair, you managed to have me asking that dreaded question...just who exactly am I?</p><p> </p><p> Gene Okerlund</p><p> If I may say so, I think I speak for the WWF fans when I say we all know exactly who you are and what you have done in this company and that's why through everything you've done these fans now stand behind you the way they do...</p><p> </p><p> Mr. Perfect</p><p> Gene that's appreciated, but Flair's right, you can have everyone in the world telling you who you are...but you really need to know yourself to be able to continue in this industry with confidence. Which is why Wrestlemania is so important for me. Once that match was confirmed by WWF Management? I knew this was more than just the grudge match we had at the Rumble. This is more than just a rematch between two wrestlers. This is a fight for our identities! This is a fight for our dignity and Mean Gene...it's a fight to show not just everyone who'll be in attendence there that night, and not just to show the people watching at home, but to show OURSELVES just exactly who we are...which is why I suggest a little poetic justice for Ric Flair here tonight!</p><p> </p><p> Gene Okerlund </p><p> What do you mean by that?</p><p> </p><p> Mr. Perfect</p><p> What I mean, Gene...is that I'm posing a challenge to Ric Flair regarding our match. He wants to make this about identity? He wants to make this personal? He wants to remove my dignity for him! Then I'll give him the PERFECT chance to do it...what I suggest to YOU Ric Flair...is a Hair VS. Hair match! Whoever loses must have their head SHAVED ENTIRELY after the match and I think we all know the man who is just capable of doing it and will volunteer his services to snip away! I'm talking Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake Ric. To make sure neither of us are able to worm our way out of it. Somebody's going to have their identity stripped from them at Wrestlemania Ric..and I promise you. I guarantee you...this time? The match was one of the highlights of the evening and certainly was different to the usual Yokozuna bout that WWF fans have come to expect. It was, for a matter of fact, competitive. Owen Hart displayed the fight and the tenacity of an underdog, showcasing some of his more acrobatic skills, using his ability to jump, spin and leap around the ring to his advantage against a much alrger and heavier opponent. One particular spot which stood out was when Owen managed to jump up onto Yokozuna's back as Yoko charged at him and tried to headbutt him, Owen then backflipped off of him and hit him with a beautiful, prestine dropkick. The match however, did end as WWF fans expected it would, though much respect is deserved for Owen's efforts. None other, than Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Your thoughts right now on this situation?</p><p> </p><p> Hulk Hogan</p><p> Well Gene...I shoulda known it wouldn't have taken that weasel Heenan long before he wormed his way back into my life! He's been a monkey on my back as far as I can remember dude! Ever since Hulkamania was first firing up...Bobby Heenan's been there tying to put out those flames of excitement! With every step of success I took as Iclimbed up the mountain...Bobby Heenan was there to try and push the Hulkster back down and now? Now that Hulkamania's makin' a comeback? A revival tour? Once again, Bobby Heenan has found a way to once again put Hulkamania under fire brother. He's wormed his way into the head of yet another wrestler, brainwashed another talented dude by the name of Lex Luger...and convinced him that the quickest way to the top is doing what so many Heenan family members have failed to do...topple Hulk Hogan, destroy Hulkamania and etch his name into the history books for the rest of time!</p><p> </p><p> Gene Okerlund</p><p> Lex Luger hasn't exactly been a fan favorite of the WWF fans and some even consider him as an attempted replacement for yourself. Not one bit Mean Gene, Heenan's good at getting into people's heads and no, maybe Lex Luger isn't no fan favorite, but he's a strong guy, he's a jacked dude, he's a talented kid and he JUST MIGHT BE THE ONE...to pose a threat to Hulkamania and Bobby Heenan KNEW that! What saddens me and what disappoints me, is that Lex could have came and laid down the challenge man to man, with honor and with decency and I wouldn't have given a moment of hesitation about it! I'd have signed the dotted line! Agreed to whatever match he wanted and fought with all my might to make sure Hulkamania carries on another day! But with Bobby Heenan by his side? Hulkamania is under fire dude! Once you align yourself with the likes of that weasel?! There's no low you'll stoop to, in order to get the job done! Well Lex...I'm talking to you, if you have even the slightest bit of honor, you'll meet me next week, and shake my hands as we agree on a time and a place for that match you so clearly want brother!? It is arguably a unique showing for The Undertaker. In what is usually a slow paced, hard hitting affair, instead is one which is much faster and actually gave Taker a chance to showcase more of his impressive wrestling skill, showcasing moments for Taker which were actually quite surprisingly technical as he had to adapt in order to be able to deal with Samu's athleticism and agaility. Taker would however, despite Samu's impressive showing be abel to pick up the win, after a hard hitting big boot straight to Samu's face once Samu was trying to make a running attack at the Deadman. Undertaker than hoisted Samu back to his feet, up into the air, then drove him straight back into the mat with a chokeslam to pick up the win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rated: 75</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52176" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>After The Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="BuFZsfC.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BuFZsfC.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ml6t3h5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ml6t3h5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> After the match Razor Ramon comes rushing from outside the audience, with a steel chair in hand. Ramon smacks him again across the back, again, Taker is brought to his knees but gets back up. Ramon then unleashes, he hits Taker again, bringing the deadman to his knees, the with a mighty swing he strikes Taker again right acorss the back of the head, knocking him to the floor this time and to ensure that Undertaker stays down, he takes another shot, then another, and finally a third with the steel chair before having to throw it away, dented and destroyed. Vince McMahon

WELCOME EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! Vince McMahon here joined as always by my broadcast partners Rob Bartlett and Randy Savage! Gentlemen? The Road To Wrestlemania is almost at an end, matches will be confirmed, stipulations will be decided and we are just ONE MORE MONDAY NIGHT RAW AWAY FROM THE BIG EVENT!

Rob Bartlett

You know what excites me Vince? Hearing how Ric Flair responds to Mr. Perfect's challenge last week! Hair VS. Hair?! I for one can't imagine either of the guys going bald! It would be a huge stipulation added to what is already a much talked about rematch between these two men.

Vince McMahon

It certainly puts an exclamation point on just how personal things have gotten between these two, but also tonight, speaking of things that are personal, we have word from the Intercontinental Champion tonight regarding his match against none other than Randy Savage. What do you think the Champion is going to say Randy?

Randy Savage

Whatever it is I'll be all ears Vince! I for one hope the little punk will finally MAN UP and put his championship on the line at Wrestlemania!

Vince McMahon

It is certainly a Wrestlemania full to the brim of grudges so far and it'll all come to a head over the course of these next couple of weeks! Whatever you do folks! DON'T CHANGE THAT CHANNEL! IT'S MONDAY NIGHT RAW!

Tatanka VS. Damien Demento

3VWVLjH.jpgZ9TJYuE.jpg

WWF fans were getting more and more accustomed to Raw starting off with these quick, athletic style matches and Tatanks did not disappoint, speed was the key of this match as almost every one of his moves involved him charging at Damien Demento. Damien did not simply sit and take it either and the star would make his own running returning attacks at the native American. Tatanka's momentum and fire was hard to put out however and ultimately he would pick up the win with a Tomahawk Chop.

Crush VS. Bam Bam Bigelow

NIVhMSl.jpgh1he3Lg.jpg

It was an impressive return for Crush tonight after coming back from an unexpected injury in his match against Skinner weeks ago. In what was a typical big man matches with a few surprises it seemed Bam Bam tested Crush's ability to be quick on his feet and Crush for the most part was able to match Bam Bam in his test of athleticism. Crush would pick up the win in what was clearly WWF Management's way of allowing the returning injured star to garner some momentum after being cold for so long in a flash pinfall that got an out of nowhere victory over Bam Bam, leaving the big man still looking strong.

Say Goodbye To Macho Man...

vQORZpI.jpg0YD3jvm.jpg

Gene Okerlund

Ladies and gentlemen joining me right now, is the Intercontinental Champion, a man who some say has been avoiding the match that waits for him at Wrestlemania for quite some time, Shawn Michaels, what exac-

Shawn interrupts Gene, snatching the microphone away from him, he lowers his glasses, staring daggers at Mean Gene and shaking his head slowly.

Shawn Michaels

What was that Gene? I've been avoiding this match waiting for me at Wrestlemania? Gene...you're lucky that you're just an interviewer my friend, otherwise you'd find yourself on the receiving end of my back hand! I haven't been avoiding anything or anybody Gene! I've been trying to do a favor for our beloved Macho Man Randy Savage. I've been trying to SAVE him from himself Gene! It's a tale as old as time in this industry Gene, the wrestling veteran who just can't let go...who just can't help but give in to the allure of the crowd, to the shimmer of the spotlight and they make their comeback and what happens Gene? More often than not...they embarrass themselves Gene! They leave their legacy off far worse than it was if they had just left well enough alone...

Shawn smirks as he can see Gene wants to respond, he slowly hands Gene back the microphone, teasing him at first as he lets it dangle, then snatches it back, chuckling as Gene tries to grab it. He shrugs, then throws it back towards Gene's chest, allowing Gene to grab it and return to the interview as normal.

Gene Okerlund

Well...a lot of people have been wondering if you're willing to put your Intercontinental Championship on the line? If you are so sure of the outcome, surely it wont harm you to defend the gold in this match against Randy Savage?

Shawn Michaels

Are you trying to dictate to me how to be a champion Gene? This company really needs to reassess how it's interviewers talk to the on air talent...but you know somethin'? I've heard the scuttlebutt...Shawn's not willing to put the title on the line, they say. He's too scared they say. No...no...no. In fact, I've just gotten back from the WWF Offices and I've penned my name for a championship match, but I've made it very clear what my conditions are and knowing Randy Savage? I think he'll be willing to agree to them. I am ready AND WILLING to put my Intercontinental Championship on the line, if AND ONLY IF....in the event that Randy Savage loses? It'll be the LAST TIME we see him in a wrestling ring EVER AGAIN!

Gene Okerlund

You're asking a man to put his career on the line in his return match!

Shawn Michaels

YOU'RE GOD DAMNED RIGHT I AM GENE! BECAUSE SOMEBODY NEEDS TO STOP HIM! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO PROTECT HIM FROM HIMSELF, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! He's already embarrassed himself enough on the commentary table, can you IMAGINE if he gets a taste for the in ring action again after our Wrestlemania match? No, no...somebody needs to nip this in the bud before it gets worse and that's why...just like always I'm willing to step in and do the dirty work that nobody else is willing to do. At Wrestlemania. I want it to be title versus career! Get your tickets while you can folks! Because I promise you now...if I have my way? It'll be the LAST time you ever lay eyes on Macho Man Randy Savage!

Giant Gonzalez VS Hulk Hogan

vppOhaY.jpgWbHHfiD.jpg

In a lacklustre showing for the Hulkster, it seemed a pairing with Giant Gonzalezz did not conjur the memories of old that the WWF was hoping for. What the ideal scenario would have been was a flashback to the days of old, like Hogan VS. Andre, but the limited ability of Giant Gonzalez gave even the Hulkster little to work with and the match came to an expected end with Hogan dropping the leg on Gonzalez for the win.

After The Match

vppOhaY.jpgJ7wNdrQ.jpg

After the match Lex Luger makes his way to the stage, a microphone in his hand. Hogan is panting after the match, still catching his breath, leaning against the ropes as he hears what The Narcissist has to say...

Lex Luger

Hogan I want to make something clear to you...you say that Bobby Heenan brainwashed me. You say that like so many other people he got into my ear and told me tales of great opportunity that would come my way if I went after you. Brother, you could not be further from the truth. Bobby Heenan? He didn't come to me. i came to him. I came to him after seeing you make your triumphant return, once again finding yourself straight in the spotlight as if you have never left in the first place. Meanwhile there are men like me, so many men like me, who have to fight, crawl and grasp at whatever opportunities they can hold on to, in order to get even CLOSE to where you FORCE YOURSELF TO BE, EVERY TIME YOU STEP FOOT IN THIS COMPANY!

Lex Luger

I bet it's eating you alive that you haven't been given a Wrestlemania match yet, isn't it? I bet you're downright INSULTED that that you weren't even OFFERED a chance to worm your way into the Championship match with Bret and Yoko? How dare they, how dare they not roll out the red carpet for the Hulkster STRAIGHT TOWARDS THE WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT! You want to know why Hulk? Because slowly but surely, people are waking up to who you really are and what you really are. A grand stander, a show boater, a hot dogger...and a selfish son of a bitch who never gave anything back to this industry. All my career all I've heard is "He could be the next Hulk Hogan!" "We might be looking at the next Hulk Hogan!" I DON'T WANT TO BE THE NEXT HULK HOGAN! I WANT TO BE...AND I AM...THE FIRST AND ONLY LEX LUGER!

Lex Luger

Well don't worry Hulk, I'll give you EXACTLY what you want. I'll give you a WrestleMania match brother. I'll give you another chance to shine dude, so all your Hulkamaniacs can see...just how washed up and irrelevant you really are. It's up to you Hulk...but the offer is there, all you have to do? Is sign the dotted line...and prove to the world just one more time, that Hulk Hogan still has it when it counts. The ball is in your court Hulkster. I'll be waiting.

You Want It? You've Got It

vQORZpI.jpg5XO9XMY.jpg

Gene Okerlund

Ladies and gentlemen Mean Gene here, joined at this moment by a man who has a big challenge ahead of him come Wrestlemania! Ric Flair! Ric, last week Mr. Perfect issued the challenge to you, he stated how you wanted to make this match about being a fight for identity and he thought of no better way to make it happen, then in a Hair VS. Hair match, your thoughts on Mr. Perfect's challenge right now?

Ric Flair

My thoughts?! Mean Gene...I think it's cute...I think it's cute that Curt Hennig has finally been able to pluck up the courage and show me that he's still got the guts, he's still got the courage, he's still got the nerve to lay it all out on the line and for the first time in this little back and forth of ours Gene? I'll admit...I saw a glimmer of the old Mr. Perfect deep down with oid Curt last week! WOO! He's right! This is a fight for identity, it's a fight for HIS identity and whilst I only managed to make a dent in it after the Royal Rumble...my mission is to take it all away, once and for all!

Gene Okerlund

Well by the sounds of it you agree to the stipulation that Mr. Perfect put forth, is that correct!

Ric Flair

You need to STOP calling him Mr. Perfect Gene! He is NOT Mr. Perfect! The man you spoke to last week was a shadow of Mr. Perfect! A ghost! A flickering ember of a flame that once burned bright in this company that is now DESPERATE to stop itself from becoming extinguished...but you can't stop the inevitable Gene...you can only delay it and I think you would rightfully agree. Curt Hennig has delayed the inevitable for long enough. A hard dose of reality will be hitting you at Wrestlemania brother! You want to add this stipulation! You want to think you pose a threat by making me put my hair on the line? HENNIG! YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER THING COMING! TAKE A LOOK AT ME HENNIG! I AM NOT THE MAN I WAS WHEN I ENTERED THE RING WITH YOU AT THE RUMBLE! I'm not lost, I'm not weak, I'm no longer unsure about who I am! I am THE greatest wrestler to EVER enter the ring...and you? All you are, is a necessary step I need to overcome, to make my way back to the top of the mountain where I belong! You want Hair VS. Hair Hennig? YOU'VE GOT IT! But don't come crying to me...when it all blows up in your face...

Big Bossman VS. Ric Flair

5XO9XMY.jpg7smyELu.jpg

The main event would see Ric Flair and Big Bossman facing off against one another in the match of the night. Bossman was considered the underdog in this match despite his size advantage due to the known dirty tactics of Ric Flair and at the beginning of the match it seemed that Bossman might have had the upper hand, he had Flair restricted to the corners of the ring, taking away space from The Nature Boy to limit his ability to worm his way around Bossman and find a spot to take advantage of and pick at. Flair would eventually make a comeback though during a point in the match where Bossman would charge at Flair in one of the corners, only to find Flair slipping down to the floor and causing Bossman to run head first straight into the turnbuckle, before being met by a sly low blow that the ref did not notice while he tended to the ring corner. After that the match was all Ric Flair, picking away at Bossman and synching in the figure four for the win.
