DinoKea
TAG 3 - Round 7 Predictions Findlay & Newton def. Unstoppabreakable Perez & Tayama def. Double Dutch Heroes & Hearts def. The Vikings The Ivanoff Brothers def. Wild Cats I think it's just been a couple of your more predictable shows on the lower card matches, while the Main Event has often been a right guess or a draw to get the 100%. This next main event could be the one to get me (I could also see the first match getting me) As for Devilfish, I think I put my reasoning down anyway but it kind of ended up showing there was no-one else. Plus he'd taken a similar role to early days Nelson Callum (and to a lesser extent Konrad Makinen) of a good wrestler who is sort of just left at the bottom. If it'd been on TV I'd probably have never seen it coming.

Willsky
A Thank You and a Message on the Future A full, real-life calendar year of PWL. 11 League seasons, 4 tournaments, well over 100 shows, and more than 1,500 match predictions - it's certainly been a journey. From the 2020 days of Frankie Perez's run with the belt, Kalu Owusu finding himself, and the feud between Captain Lucha and Mr. Lucha III to 2021 with Youngman's dominant reign, the beginning of the tag league, and the arrival of women in the company, so much has changed since the beginning. By far, this diary has been my favourite to book and write. I've loved developing the characters and devising new storylines to fit within the league structure. But I would never have gone so far without the comments and predictions made by the readers. In particular, I'd like to extend my immense gratitude to DinoKea and Herrbear who have been on the PWL train from the beginning. Herrbear has predicted more than 400 matches, and DinoKea, more than 500! So thank you both, and thanks to everyone else who predicted, commented or read my stories. You can probably guess where this is going now... it's the structure of the promo you've seen again and again... I can't go on. Not because I don't love writing the shows, and not because I'm out of ideas for this diary. In fact, I have the whole of 2022 in-game planned out. New wrestlers are arriving, there's the women's division to get stuck into, and brand new champions with their own legacies to build. I just don't have the time to write 2-3 shows a week anymore. My circumstances have changed, and I don't have the hours every week to dedicate to this hobby. For me, this is bittersweet. I'm growing, progressing in my life and moving on to bigger and better things, but it means making sacrifices. This doesn't mean the end for PWL, though. Well, maybe. I'm torn between two options: 1. Just be done with the whole thing, wrap it up with a bow after a great run. 2. Continue with the diary but cut 80% of the content (instead of writing out matches and angles, have brief summaries with all the weekly shows presented in a highlights package). So I ask you, readers. What would you prefer? Continue with PWL-lite, or call it a day? For the record, my other active diary with NJPW Strong will continue for several more months because I have already written a load of the shows in advance - I'm no longer writing new shows, so at some point that will come to an end too. And at some point, there's still the end of year Behind the Curtain Podcast to post, once I know who the guests are and have some time to write it up. Once again, thanks to everyone who's been a part of PWL!
DinoKea
Man, that was a great show. It's too bad you can't continue at the same level because this diary has been amazing. Definitely one of my favourites I've ever read and certainly one I feel more people should be reading than are. Personally I'd prefer PWL-Lite than just scratching it entirely. If you have to put your focus into anything, focus on getting Prestige, the men's singles league going. If you have to just do highlights of shows, just do highlights. If you have to reduce the rate of release, well it'd just be coming out in real time. Whatever you decide this has been a brilliant run and will always be a favourite diary for me. Thank you for all your work over the past year for delivering this content. Thanks for all the great content!
MiykaelP
I want to just say this my favorite Dynasty right now. I like the unique league aspect and the long-term storytelling you have going on. I hope you continue with highlights. Perhaps have a short summary and then the finish to the match or something like that. Maybe have more detail on say a PPV Main event or important matches if you have the time. Thanks and best wishes to you !
Herrbear
I would like to add my thanks to you for this series. I have no strong feelings either way as it is tough to keep everything going. Life's path always changes. If you kept one going, I, like DinoKea, would prefer the singles league. It is a great show and your work is fantastic. Either way. Best of luck to you. eayragt
I would give the Lite option ago. A summary and match results will keep us quiet readers going. It'll be less engaging and you'll get less predictions, but it's the model I've gone for and allows me to game more than write. I personally also need to write to make sure I have a meaning for a feud, rather than just bunging wrestlers together, even if the reasons don't come out in the write ups so well. I fear of I didn't my bookings would become more mechanical, and I would lose interest quicker. If it's not for you, it's easily ditched. Willsky
Thanks everyone for your kind and helpful comments. I wasn't sure anyone would be interested in a slimmed down version of the shows, but your responses have swayed me. With that in mind, I've come up with a show structure which works for me: All 3 weekly shows combined into one "highlights" package. Non-main event matches (4 men's, 4 women's, 3 tag) summarised in a couple of sentences focusing on story beats. Also some angles described briefly. Then, 2 of the 3 main events given a little bit more (a slide each) and one with a full feature (2-3 slides), most of the time being from the men's singles division. There'll also be 1-2 featured angles/promos which get a slide. For PPV shows, they'll probably remain similar to how they have been before, except (and this is the case throughout), big matches won't get quite so much of a write up. Instead of having the blow-by-blow description with commentary, it'll be a shortened more summarised account. Most of the content will be story things rather than moves. Maybe some huge matches will get a bit more time (like the Prestige main event). Also, I'll be dropping the Behind the Curtain Podcasts. They take ages to write. There'll be one more to close out the 2021 shows. I'm intending to keep the predictions competition going, but there won't be a reward for winning - you're just competing for the prestige of winning (pun intended). Herrbear, let us know which tag team you'd like to appear on that last podcast show. With all that in mind, there'll be a few weeks break before the next show is posted. I'll need some time to figure out the new format and get a few shows ahead of schedule. Again, thanks for your understanding and support. Here's to a new era of PWL! DinoKea
Deever Arnold: What's the plan for next season to push yourself into the top half. Wild Cats: Now that you've won the titles (or if you win the titles, depending on when this is set), which team would you want to have your first title defense against?
