FROM THE OUTLAW HEADQUARTERS IN ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO! 98 IN ATTENDANCE! SATURDAY, WEEK 2, APRIL 2020 CONNY WOODS VS. JAY DIAZ In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Jay Diaz defeated Conny Woods in 12:22 by pinfall with an Asian Thumb Spike. RATING: 36 BIG TEX MAKES AN ANNOUNCEMENT! "What's going on Albuquerque?!" Big Tex shouts as he paces around the ring, to a little reaction from the small crowd. "As you may have noticed, tonight we have two tag team bouts taking place - and no tag team champions! Well, that is just to help you size up our tag division, because NEXT MONTH we'll be having ourselves a three-way tag team contest, between our toughest teams: The Freedom Fighters, Jackson and Miller, The Mafia, Callihan and Ranes, as well as The Mercenaries, Wolfie and Kalder! And that bout will be a no-holds-barred, falls count anywhere bout! Anything can happen, and you bet that with that line up, anything WILL happen!" Tex leaves the ring following the announcement, motioning for the next bout to get underway. RATING: 30 KIDD THUNDER VS. PRINCE BRADY In a decent match, Kidd Thunder defeated Prince Brady in 9:48 by pinfall with an Oklahoma Stampede. RATING: 27 RINGLEADER ADDRESSES LAST MONTH The Ringleader comes down to the ring, his two muscle-bound lackeys following behind. He paces around the ring for a few moments before finally collecting himself. The crowd booing him this whole time. "Do you people even understand what happened last month?!" He shouted at the crowd. "Roger 'Eagle' or whatever the hell his name is STOLE a victory from me, and boy, will he regret it. He will. I will make sure of it, because TONIGHT - I will walk away with my hand raised in the air, I will, not him.. and in doing so, I will cement my claim to the O-C-W United States Championship. And Eagle? Well, let's just say he's going to regret ever signing on the dotted line, because I will not rest until he's left in a mangled heap. Boys, get ready..." Ringleader steps back and looks at his henchmen. "You're up, make me proud." RATING: 44 THE MID-SOUTH MAFIA VS. TEAM MIDNIGHT In an extremely short match, The Mid-South Mafia defeated Team Midnight in 5:18 when Outlaw Karl Callihan pinned Jerry Night with a K Killer. RATING: 25 THE MONTANA MERCENARIES VS. THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS In a decent match, the Freedom Fighters defeated The Montana Mercenaries in 11:24 when Sarge Jackson pinned Kalder with a Drop Zone. RATING: 34 VENNE ISN'T DONE! Gregory Venne comes out to tons of cheers from the small local crowd, who have come to love the former Rayne Man. He holds the mic up so everyone can hear him loud and clear, and begins. "Last month, I tried my hardest.." He paces as he talks. "I tried my best to cut down the giant, the giant known as Texas Hangman. I didn't give up an inch, and I fought until I physically could not anymore and it still was not enough - and for that, I offer up my respect to the one who calls himself the Hangman.." Venne pauses, and then turns quickly to face the audience. "But HANGMAN, do NOT think I'm finished with you. I will keep crawling , no, CLAWING my way back up until I physically cannot compete. I will do so until I pin you down for that sweet... sweet three-count. You may have my respect, but you have made a lifelong enemy - and I am one that will NOT go away!" Venne drops the mic and storms up the stage. RATING: 31 DEGRAFF DASTARDLY VS. WHITE WOLF In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, DeGraff Dastardly defeated White Wolf in 9:49 with a Double Arm DDT. RATING: 38 ROGER EAGLE VS. THE RINGLEADER Both men were fired up, because of last months events and Ringleader's promo from earlier in the night. They met in the middle, and after a short lock up, began cruising all around the ring. The two men were smaller and wrestled quicker and more fluid than a majority of the roster, and this was translated excellently here, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats as it wasn't entirely clear who had control of the match at any given moment. Finally, Roger Eagle was setting up for his finishing move, after taking control about twelve minutes into the bout, when Ringleader's music hit and out came his lackeys - Callihan and Ranes. They charged to the ring as Eagle whipped around to confront them alongside the referee, Dale Kenney. Dale finally stepped outside the ring to order the interfering men to head to the back.. and just as Eagle was going to turn back to face Ringleader, Ringleader sent Eagle crashing to the mat with a brutal chair shot to the head. Ringleader then smashed the chair on the mat and tossed it outside the ring, before dropping down next to Eagle. Kenney, hearing the commotion, turned and slid back into the ring. Before he could start the ten count, Ringleader crawled over to Eagle and draped an arm over Eagle's body, for the three count. Ringleader was then helped to his feet by Ref Kenney, and faked being groggy as he celebrated - all the while with a big, devious grin on his face as the crowd booed him out of the building. RATING: 42 OVERALL SHOW RATING: 41 A/N: Sorry this took so long! Trying to get back into this, but hit a bumpy few weeks and had a little bit of writer's block (though I hope the promo's and the ME were at least enjoyable to read!) Also: Glad to see the one-star bandits have struck again! Shout-out to whoever did it this time! I guess I can't have a diary/dynasty without one, eh? Also also: Thanks to christian_shane for his excellent belt work, which I've taken to use as OCW's belts! He may not see this, but anyone reading will and I encourage everyone to go and check out his belts if you haven't - arguably the best there is at creating belt graphics! PRINCE BRADY Wolf is generally the stronger worker, and it doesn't feel like Brady's a guy you're building around SINGLES | ONE FALL THE MASKED MAULER VS. GREGORY VENNE Mauler's great, Greg's just kinda there SINGLES | ONE FALL BENNY OUTLAW VS. DEGRAFF DASTARDLY DeGraff, like Mauler, is great. Benny is very much just a warm body SINGLES | ONE FALL TEXAS HANGMAN VS. KIDD THUNDER |Both of these guys feel like big future prospects but Hangman's further along the path CO-MAIN EVENT 3-WAY TAG ELIMINATION | OCW TAG TEAM TITLES ON THE LINE! THE MONTANA MERCENARIES VS. THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS VS. THE MID-SOUTH MAFIA The Freedom Fighters are great, and I honestly can't remember who the Mafia are MAIN EVENT SINGLES CONTEST | NON-TITLE REMATCH | ONE FALL ROGER EAGLE VS.
