Back Story: We all know what’s going on, ECW has returned! I’ve decided to use the wonders of armchair booking to take my hand at and see if I could do any better. After seeing the first two episodes of ECW’s return, I felt my “New” ECW was better than the current product, and decided to put it up here so hopefully some of you will agree. The roster was made off of the online reports going up to ONS, so I might be missing some people, but I plan on making a lot of hirings to make it more ECW-y, or at least according to what I think of when I think ECW. Roster: Active: Al Snow Axl Rotten Balls Mahoney CM Punk CW Anderson James Maritato (As “Little Guido”) Jazz Kid Kash Lance Storm Masato Tanaka Mikey Whipwreck Peter Polaco (As “Justin Credible”) Roadkill Rob Van Dam Sabu Super Crazy Terry Funk The Sandman Tommy Dreamer Yoshihiro Tajiri Inactive: Francine Joel Gertner Joey Styles Paul Heyman Stephen DeAngelis Taz

(Please note: I'm 3 months into the game right now, so untill I get up to that point, bear with me as I go for the best summary as my mind will allow me to remember... Oh, and p.s. I'm using an old RaveX update, so the dates don't match up with the current timeline. Sorry) Monday, Week 1 October 2005 It All Begins... Again. One Night Stand 2 was another successful Pay-Per-View and as such, the business-savvy Vince McMahon decided it was time to give the old Extreme one another go. He's given Paul Heyman complete control, with the only WWE tie-in will be their financial support. He's given Paul a substancial ammount of money to work with, and Heyman, smarter from the last run, has promised Vince, the media, and the fans, he will show them all what made ECW so popular back in the 90's! Within the first week, they made an offer to bring back nearly every ECW worker. Names confirmed for contracts include: Tammy Sytch Chris Hamrick Julio Dinero Headhunters 1 & 2 Brian Lee Chastity Elektra Riptide Chris Chetti Angel Vic Grimes Tony DeVito Jeff Bradley (As "Dudley Dudley") Beaulah McGillicutty Bill Alfonso Tracy Smothers Sal E. The First Show The first show will be a live, untelevised event at the ECW Arena, in an attempt to recreate the feel of the old ECW as much as possible! The First Show will consist of the first round matches of the tournament to crown the new ECW Champion! The matches will include: Little Guido vs. Nova Both men are well known for their work in ECW with their factions, Guido with the FBI and Nova with the bWo. Both men also have moved on to the WWE to moderate success. Little Spike Dudley vs. Bubba Ray Dudley We all know the Dudleys are the most dysfunctional group this side of, well, Dudleyville. The classic tough “brotherly love” will come to an all time high as the runt of the litter Little Spike Dudley takes on his big brother Bubba for a shot at the ECW Championship Raven vs. Steven Richards These two go back to the early days of ECW, with the Flock, and all the controversy and mayhem that followed them, all the way to their hardcore wars in WWF. These two will be going for blood when they go head to head for gold at the first event of the new ECW! Rob Van Dam vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri The match that’s sure to steal the show, both of these men have tasted gold in the past, both men being former tag team and television champions, they look to complete their legacy by being among those legendary individuals who held all three of the major ECW championships, including Taz, and Sabu. More is sure to happen as well, so make sure you show up at the ECW Arena to witness the rebirth of ECW Live!
