*Tony Khan appears on Wrestling Observer Radio*

Dave Meltzer: "So, ummm....you are uhhhhh going to....ummm start a new wrestling promotion?"

Khan: "Yes, Dave. I'm very excited to be starting All Elite Wrestling. This is off the heels of the very successful All In PPV from last year. I am partnering with Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks to form this exciting new wrestling promotion."

Meltzer: "Well, that's....ummm...I mean....you know...that's great. With Impact dropping off in terms of financial and ROH dropping in terms of talent with WWE taking all of their top guys, uhhh yeah a new promotion with financial backing will be a good thing."

Bryan Alvarez: "So, I have a question, Tony. You have an English football team AND an American football team, both of whom have not been very successful. How do you plan for All Elite Wrestling to succeed where your other endeavors have not been a success?"

Khan: "Well, I wouldn't call Fulham or Jacksonville to be unsuccessful. They are in very competitive leagues with a lot of good teams. I think when you really look at it, they've held up against very good teams. So, I think that equals success in my eyes. However, I think AEW will succeed, because there is only one big company in America that has the capability to spend money. Now with AEW, there are two companies that can spend money. In order to make money, you have to spend money."

Meltzer: "So, ummmm you're planning on....I mean going to be spending a lot of money?"

Khan: "Yes. My dad told me that I am getting a lot of money when he dies, so to go ahead and spend some of it while he's alive. So, that's what I'm going to do."

Alvarez: "I know you've been a pro wrestling fan all your life, but didn't you see what happened to WCW when they had an open checkbook?"

Khan: "To be fair, Bryan, they only went out of business because at the time, Turner no longer wanted wrestling on their channels. I think the difference between AEW and WCW will be consistency in the power structure. Ted Turner didn't really get involved in WCW's day-to-day operations. He didn't book the shows. There was constant shuffling of bookers from Ric Flair to Bill Watts to Ole Anderson to Eric Bischoff to Vince Russo. With AEW, I'm going to be doing the booking."

Meltzer: "That's a good idea, except...I mean...ummm...you know...you've never booked a pro wrestling show or been around the business. Do you...you know...ummm...do you think you'll be in over your head?"

Khan: "Not at all. I'm a lifelong subscriber, as you know, to the Observer. Plus, I've played a game called Total Extreme Warfare where all you do is basically book wrestling shows."

Alvarez: "Booking a video game is different than real life. You have to deal with egos and unforeseen circumstances in real life."

Khan: "I have to deal with egos and unforeseen circumstances in the game as well."

Meltzer: "Okay, well, are you going to at least surround yourself with veterans to maybe...ummm....uhhh...kind of steer you along in case you get stuck?"

Khan: "Of course. I'm going to bring in a lot of legends in the business to not only mentor the wrestlers, but help run things backstage. I've already consulted with a few of them before officially starting AEW."

Alvarez: "Care to tell us who you talked to?"

Khan: "Sorry, that's confidential. *smiles*"

Meltzer: "So...uhhh....*coughs* you've established you have money to spend. Does this mean you're going to go after WWE talent? Are you uh...going to be...you know...going into a bidding war?"

Khan: "I'm going to explore ALL possibilities. As I already stated, my checkbook is open."

Alvarez: "You don't want to be like WWE and have a bloated roster, do you?"

Khan: "I don't think of it as a bloated roster, I think of it more as an excess of talent. I think having an excess of talent is beneficial when you know how to use them. With that being said, I'm not going to sign EVERYONE. If I feel like they will have value to AEW, I will certainly make an effort to sign them. I'm not looking to sign wrestlers just to sign wrestlers. I want AEW to be an alternative, not the only game in town."

Meltzer: "In order to be...ummm...I mean...TV is really important for the long term viability of a wrestling promotion. Where are you at in that regard?"

Khan: "I've had talks with people. It's too early to say anything, but I am definitely optimistic for a TV deal at some point this year."

Alvarez: "What about another show like All In?"

Khan: "That's definitely been discussed. However, I want to make sure the roster is filled out before running a show. I don't want the first AEW branded show to feature talent not committed to AEW, nor do I want a show lacking in star power. I want to be able to bring in fans of every current reputable promotion and the way to do that is to get men and women those fans know. We already have a few with Jericho, Cody, Omega, and The Bucks, but that's only a small sample. I want recognizable talent in some form from top to bottom."

Meltzer: "Alright. We look forward to covering the rise of AEW in the coming weeks and months. Take care, Tony."

Khan: "Thanks guys."

AEW Has Announced Their Most Star Studded Signings Including Former WWE Superstars AJ Styles, Jon Moxley, Adam Cole, and Shinsuke Nakamura

Press Release: All Elite Wrestling and Owner Tony Khan have announced a handful of exclusive signings to the roster today.

AJ Styles (Former WWE, IWGP, TNA World Champion)

Jon Moxley (Formerly Known As Dean Ambrose in the WWE)

Adam Cole (Former ROH World Champion)

Shinsuke Nakamura (Former IWGP Champion)

Nick Nemeth (Formerly Known in WWE as Dolph Ziggler)

Jon & Josh Fatu (Formerly Known as The Usos in WWE)

Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson (Former IWGP and WWE Tag Team Champions)

KENTA (Formerly Known as Hideo Itami in WWE)

Tenille Dashwood (Formerly Known as Emma in WWE)

Tony Khan is quoted as saying "These recent signings should prove to any doubters on how serious we are as a company. These are game changing signings, all of whom were under contract with the WWE." One of the biggest signings to date, AJ Styles, stated "I was in TNA when they first started, but I was one of the young guys. Now, I'm here at the start of AEW and I'm one of the veterans hoping to mentor some of the younger guys on the roster.

Jon Moxley is the wildcard signing. He brings an air of unpredictability to the promotion. "AEW doesn't know what they're getting into by allowing me in. I'm Unfiltered, Violent, and ready to crack skulls." says a defiant Moxley.

Tony Khan finally stated that while this is the biggest group of signings to date, there is still plenty of room in the company as they are looking to build the biggest diverse roster in the world.

*Tony Khan makes his second appearance on Wrestling Observer Radio*

Meltzer: "Tony, thank you again for coming on the show to talk about AEW."

Khan: "Thanks for having me, I'm excited to talk about AEW."

Meltzer: "So, you have certainly ummm....been busy lately. Uhhh...you ummm signed quite a bit of talent. Some people, though, have ummm been questioning your uhhhh signing of Braun Kingman, also known as uhhh Braun Strowman. What uhhh made you decide to sign someone like him?"

Khan: "Well, Dave, I think it's important to have a little bit of everything on our shows. Braun is definitely an attraction and there are people who want to see that type of thing. He's not going to be out there doing 20 minute matches. He's there to destroy people and leave. It's like Neapolitan ice cream. You have three different flavors of ice cream, but not everyone likes all three flavors, so you eat around the ice cream you don't like and let those who do like it eat it."

Alvarez: "I know when you were here before, we talked about your roster and how your checkbook is open. Looking at some of the big names you've signed, are you done or are you looking to sign more?"

Khan: "We're always looking for talent."

Meltzer: "So ummm how are you going to uhhhh handle all of this talent that you have signed and uhhh at some point will be signing?"

Khan: "What's good about a large roster is that you don't have to feature the same talent each week. It's like going to a concert with a band with a large catalog of songs, so each concert their setlist is different. One week Jon Moxley will be on the show and the next week he could be off the show and another star will be there instead. It keeps them fresh and avoids the fans getting burnt out of seeing the same wrestlers and matches each week."

Alvarez: "Don't you think the fans want to see certain people each week?"

Khan: "I'm sure they do, but they also don't want to get tired of seeing them. As someone wise once said, how can I miss you if you don't go away?"

Meltzer: "How's...uhhhh...how's the TV deal coming along?"

Khan: "It's going well, we're talking with multiple channels about airing a weekly show. It's just the matter of finding the deal that is best for AEW."

Alvarez: "You must be running in the red right now with no shows or TV deals in place right now. I don't see how paying all of these talents for doing nothing is financially viable."

Khan: "You're right. We are running in the red right now, but I expected that until we get our show up and running, which should be soon. I am confident once the PPV and TV deals come together and we run weekly and monthly shows, we will make up for the loss revenue in no time."

Meltzer: "Alright. We are out of time for this interview. Thank you, Tony. I'm sure we'll have you back in the future to discuss where things are at with AEW."

AEW All Out: All Out To Gold

September 7, 2019

United Center

Chicago, IL

aew-all-out-logo-1024x546.jpg

Buy-In Battle Royal:

Darby Allin won the Buy-In Battle Royal in 29:31 last eliminating Killer Kross. Jacob Fatu and Jeff Cobb were also finalists. Fatu got the most eliminations in the match.

Main Show

We open with a video package hyping up the first officially branded AEW show. Then, we kick it over to our commentary team of Joey Styles and Taz who welcome the fans to the show and hype up some of the marquee matches on the show.

Match 1: nZo & Big Cazz def. Proud & Powerful in 10:51. The first PPV match in AEW history got the crowd buzzing as nZo & Big Cazz were the first team out. The crowd treated them like stars as they did their shtick. They won over a game P&P with an Empire Elbow from Cazz to Ortiz.

Match 2: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament WALTER def. Will Ospreay in 12:41. Neither man has had much experience wrestling in front of a U.S. crowd, but they quickly won over the fans in Chicago. It was a classic David vs. Goliath match, except Goliath won in the end with a back breaking powerbomb.

Match 3: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Tommy End def MJF in 11:19. MJF is still young and relatively inexperienced, so this match wasn't as good as the first two matches. MJF tried as he might, but in the end succumbed to Black Mass.

Match 4: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Andrade El Idolo def Bully Ray in 9:41. In what could be considered an upset, Andrade defeated Future Hall of Famer Bully Ray in a relatively short match with the Hammerlock DDT. One has to wonder if there is much left in the tank for Bully Ray?

Match 5: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Johnny Elite def. Jake Hager in 11:22. This was arguably the best match so far, mostly due to both of their experience and the crowd being familiar with both. Hager used his MMA experience to wear down Johnny, but the babyface overcame it all and pinned Hager with the Starship Pain.

Match 6: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Braun Kingman def Jay Lethal in 9:59. This match left a sour taste in fans mouths as they were displeased seeing Braun beat the underdog Jay Lethal. This was pretty much a massacre despite some hope spots from Lethal. Braun finished off Lethal with the Running Powerslam.

Match 7: The Rascalz def SCU in 12:41. In the first trios match in AEW history, the young trio of The Rascalz upended the veterans SCU thanks in large part to their speed and athleticism. Miguel finished off Daniels with a Fresh To Death.

Match 8: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Rey Mysterio Jr def PAC in 13:20. This was a classic cruiserweight style match with lots of high spots and near falls. PAC tried to cheat his way to victory numerous times, but eventual fell victim to Mysterio's experience and the 619.

Match 9: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Cody Rhodes def Pete Dunne in 12:22. While well received, the match was not as good as people expected leading up to it. For some reason, they didn't click as opponents. Rhodes finished off Dunne with a Cross Rhodes.

Match 10: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Claudio Castagnoli def. Austin Aries in 12:44. This was a classic ROH style match featuring two former ROH stars. The cocky Aries tried to outsmart Claudio, but Claudio is just too good to fall for mind games and defeated Aries with a Swiss Uppercut.

Match 11: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Nick Nemeth def. Penta el Zero M in 11:39. Surprisingly, this turned out to be the best match of the night. Both men worked hard to out cheat each other, but Nemeth was just a little bit better getting Penta with the Showoff (ZigZag).

Match 12: The Young Bucks def Jurassic Express in 11:53. The inexperienced Jurassic Express took it to the Bucks, but Jungle Boy was pinned after a Meltzer Driver.

Match 13: 1st Round AEW World Title Match Kenny Omega def Jay White in 13:34. This was a NJPW style match, but it wasn't that receptive by the crowd as White has barely wrestled in the States. Despite both being heels, the crowd was behind Omega and cheered when he won with the One Winged Angel.

Match 14: 1st Round AEW World Title Match Shinsuke Nakamura def Eddie Edwards in 13:30. This was the second straight NJPW style match with Nakamura being a legend in NJPW and Edwards having some experience there. It was hard hitting an exciting with both men getting offense. In the end, Nakamura won with a BoomYaYe.

Match 15: 1st Round AEW World Title Match AJ Styles def. Moose in 11:31. This match was a contrast in styles with Moose's raw power against the speed and agility of Styles. Moose tried to beat down AJ and keep him grounded, but in the end, AJ finished off Moose with the Phenomenal Forearm.

Match 16: 1st Round AEW World Title Match Kevin Steen def Brian Cage in 10:36. This was one of the best matches on the card. They both beat the living crap out of each other for 10 minutes. It wasn't until Steen nailed Cage with a Package Piledriver that this slugfest finally came to an end.

Match 17: The Good Brothers def The Samoan Soldiers in 12:44. This was a standard, paint by the numbers tag team match. The Good Brothers used their strength and cunning to cut the ring in half, then Jon got the hot tag to Josh. However, the twins were downed by a Magic Killer.

Match 18: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Jon Moxley def Adam Page in 11:35. Moxley was treated like a star, but Page was treated with indifference. He showed flashes of what he could be with a little more time and build, though. In the end, he just couldn't match up with Moxley and was pinned with a Paradigm Shift.

Match 19: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Adam Cole def Tyler Bate in 12:51. Much like the previous match, Bate was treated with indifference, but showed that he could hang with Cole for most of the match. It took a youngster mistake by Bate for Cole to capitalize and nail Bate with the Panama Sunrise.

Match 20: Rebecca Knox def Ashley Flair in 11:36. The first women's match in AEW history featured the two biggest female stars that AEW has. The match didn't disappoint as Knox made her long time friend and rival submit to the DisArmHer.

Match 21: 1st Round AEW World Title Tournament Bryan Danielson def Chris Jericho in 15:28. This match was disappointing given who was involved. For some reason, they weren't working as well together as everyone would have expected. It was still a very good match, but not THAT good. Jericho tried to cheat every chance he got, but Bryan made Jericho tap out to the LaBell Lock to close out the first AEW show.

It is announced that in one month, AEW will debut on TNT on Wednesday nights for Dynamite. The first ever main event for Dynamite will be a 2nd Round AEW World Title Tournament match between AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson!

Do you have show times turned off or something? These are like 20 hour shows. Who on earth would want to attend a show with 20+ matches? You have a ton of talent and the premise is great, but in no world are these cards remotely realistic when you have five billion matches happening

The matches were shorter as well. You weren't seeing a bunch of 20 minute matches (I think the longest match was like 14 minutes). Once we get past the 1st round, the match numbers well be smaller. I just wanted to fit the 1st round all in one show.</p>

This was a solid choice to be the first match in Dynamite history. Both men brought their A game with Elite's experience and Andrade's youth. In the end, though, Andrade took advantage of an Elite miscue and nailed the Hammerlock DDT to punch his ticket to the Quarterfinals next week.</p><p> </p><p> Match 2: <span style="color:#0000FF;">Rey Mysterio Jr</span> def Braun Kingman by DQ in 9:54. Rhodes finished Nemeth off by spiking him with Cross Rhodes.</p><p> </p><p> Match 5: <span style="color:#0000FF;">Adam Cole</span> def Claudio Castagnoli in 13:57. We went from arguably the worst match of the evening to arguably the best match of the evening. This was a typical all out ROH-style match. The crowd was on the edge of their seats which saw Cole besting Claudio with a Last Shot.</p><p> </p><p> Match 6: <span style="color:#0000FF;">Kevin Steen</span> def Shinsuke Nakamura in 14:20. The string of great matches continues as both Moxley and Omega were game to follow the two exciting matches before them. Omega tried to weasel his way to a victory more than once, but Moxley was too smart to fall for any of Omega's games. One Paradigm Shift later and Moxley is on his way to the Quaterfinals to face the winner of the main event next week on Dynamite.</p><p> </p><p> Match 8: <span style="color:#0000FF;">Bryan Danielson</span> def AJ Styles in 17:33. Many people expected this to be the best match on the card given the two participants. However, while good, it did not beat the previous three matches in terms of quality. Both men knew each other well and traded reversals and nearfalls. The end came when Bryan pinned AJ with a Small Package.</p><p> </p><p> After the match, Jon Moxley came in the ring and went nose-to-nose with Bryan Danielson hyping up their Quaterfinal match next week as Dynamite went off the air!</p></div></blockquote>

AEW Dynamite

Live on TNT from The Diamond

Wednesday October 9, 2019

The show opens with Joey Styles and Taz recapping the first two rounds of the AEW Title Tournament and preview the Quarterfinals happening tonight.

Match 1: The Elite def ACH, David Finlay Jr, and Brian Pillman Jr in 12:24. The young team of Finlay, Pillman, and ACH tried to bring it to The Elite, but The Elite were just too good for the young trio. Omega took out Finlay with a V-Trigger to win the match for his team.

In-Ring Interview: Joey Styles makes his way to the ring for an interview with Bully Ray. Styles asks Bully if he has lost a step due to his 1st round exit in the AEW Title Tournament. Bully says "Why? Because some punk got lucky?! Do you know who I am?! Joey, you of EVERYONE in this promotion should know who I am. I've held championships ALL OVER THE WORLD. I haven't lost a step...I'm just getting started. In fact, I challenge ANYONE in the back to come out here and face me like a man."

After a few moments, Brian Cage comes out answers Bully's challenge. He gets in the ring as Bully backs up and says "Hold up, Muscles. I said a man, not a freak of nature." Cage snatches the mic away from Joey Styles and replies "A freak of nature? I'm a machine and unless you're going to change your name to Pussy Ray, face me like the man you THINK you are!"

Bully gets in Cage's face and they start slugging it out. Cage whips Bully into the ropes, but Bully hangs onto the ropes and powders out of the ring and goes up the ramp to a chorus of boos.

Match 2: Jeff Cobb def Ace Austin in 6:53. This was no contest as Cobb brutalized young Ace Austin and took him on a Tour of the Islands. The crowd was not into, though, as they were not that familiar with either man.

Promo Video: We go to a pretaped promo of Tommy End. He is in a dark room with a lot of lit candles. "When someone has a tormented past, they tend to lock it away. They try to forget and escape their past. Me? I embrace it, because my past is my present and my present is my End. My goal in AEW is not financial or superficial. My goal is simply to absolve the sins of those who have done wrong. To cast judgement upon those needing judged. I'm neither good nor bad as the Black Boot of Judgement will strike those who truly deserve it."

Match 3: Madison Rayne & Angelina Love def Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander in 9:31. The team of Thunder Rosa and Statlander did not mesh well, which led to an easy day at the office for the beautiful women of AEW when Rayne pinned Statlander with a Rayne Drop.

Promo Video: We go to another taped promo of someone sitting at poker table. "Poker is an interesting game. Many people can play and there are multiple ways to win. It's about strategy and luck. What people won't admit is that poker is also about deception. You deceive others into thinking you have a bad hand or a better hand. It's the perfect game for a snake. However, AEW isn't poker and you don't have to worry about snakes." At this the point, the camera reveals the person talking to be Jake "The Snake" Roberts". "You can trust me." said Jake as smiles as we fade to commercial.

Match 4: AEW World Title Tournament Quarterfinals WALTER def Andrade El Idolo in 11:32. During Andrade's entrance, he motioned to the back and out came an attractive woman that Joey Styles recognized as Salina de la Renta from MLW fame. However, Andrade's apparent new manager didn't help him as he got mauled by the lot larger WALTER. Though, it was the best match of the night so far. Andrade fell victim to WALTER's Powerbomb.

Promo Video: We see MJF sitting at a table eating a very nice dinner. He hypes up his wealthy and his background. He claims he is the future of the business, but any wise person gets mentored from someone with experience. He searched far and wide looking for the perfect mentor, someone who he can relate to. Then, he found the perfect man. Someone with wealth and class. Someone who was a star in their day. In walks Ted DiBiase. "Welcome...to the Million Dollar Dynasty." proclaims MJF as we go to another commercial.

Match 5: AEW World Title Tournament Quarterfinals Rey Mysterio Jr def Cody Rhodes in 13:46. Cody was the aggressor early on, using his size advantage to keep Rey grounded. However, Rey eventually came back and took Cody down with a 619/Top Rope Splash combo. Afterwards, it looked like Cody was going to attack Rey, but then shook his hand as a sign of respect.

Match 6: AEW World Title Tournament Quarterfinals Kevin Steen def Adam Cole in 13:37. Both men knew each other well and was able to counter each other on numerous occasions. They both took shortcuts that we expect of them. In the end, Steen caught Cole with a Package Piledriver to advance to the Semi-Finals next week.

Backstage Promo: Jon Moxley cuts a promo on his upcoming Quarterfinal match against Bryan Danielson. He talks about how Bryan is considered an Underdog. Well, Moxley claims to be a pitbull that is relentless and will not let the Underdog overcome.

Match 7: AEW World Title Tournament Quarterfinals Bryan Danielson def Jon Moxley in 14:30. This was by far the best match of the night. Moxley played heel in this match, being more aggressive than usual. Bryan would constantly fight from underneath like a true underdog. Moxley went for the Paradigm Shift, but Bryan caught him in a small package to steal the victory. Afterwards, Moxley helped Bryan to his feet and raised his hand before exiting allowing Bryan to celebrate his hard fought victory as Dynamite goes off the air for the week.

Wednesday October 16, 2019

We open the show with a standard intro from Joey Styles and Taz welcoming us to the show and going over the card for tonight.

Match 1: The Lucha Bros def The North in 12:26. During the match, it was announced that a week from Saturday at the new PPV "AEW Summit", that they will start a tournament to determine the first ever AEW World Tag Team Champions and both the Lucha Bros and The North will be in the tournament. The Lucha Bros picked up the win after a Spike Package Piledriver on Alexander.

Pre-Tape Promo: We get a video package of the debuting Chas Betts as he runs down his accomplishments and says that he's ready, willing, and able to climb to the top of the AEW mountain.

Match 2: Alexander Hammerstone def Mark Haskins in 9:48. The match was solid despite being relatively unknowns to the crowd. However, Hammerstone made short work of Haskins, pinning him with the Nightmare Pendulum.

Post Match: After the match, we see Ted DiBiase and MJF applauding Hammerstone from the top of the ramp. Could we be seeing the newest member of the Million Dollar Dynasty?

Match 3: The Canadian Ninjas def Riho & Mayu Iwatani in 11:15. This was the first match in many, many years for Portia Perez as she came out of retirement due to her excitement for AEW. It was like the Ninjas never stopped teaming as they were able to overcome their Japanese counterparts when Matthews pinned Riho with a Funky Cold Medina.

Pre-Tape Promo: We go to a church setting where someone is talking about the truths in life and in the wrestling business. He holds the truth in his hands, The Book of Truth, and he is coming to AEW to build his House of Truth and spread the gospel to everyone, whether they want to listen or not.

Match 4: Darby Allin def Jordan Devlin in 10:50. A match between two young cruiserweights won the crowd over by the end of the match. Allin, coming off his impressive win in the Battle Royal at All Out, is slowly gaining fans. He finished off Devlin with a Coffin Drop.

Pre-Tape Promo: A video plays with purple smoke and a man moving his arms to the beat of a psychedelic tune. He talks about how he's the most charismatic and eccentric wrestler in AEW. He is the future of the business and soon, AEW will get the full Patrick Clark Experience.

Match 5: Thomas Latimer, Sami Callihan, & Flip Gordon def Matt Sydal, Willie Mack, & Rich Swann in 11:57. This was the best match of the show so far. Flip was displaying a new found aggression we did not see at All Out. Callihan pinned Sydal with a Cradle Killer.

Backstage Segment: After the match, we went backstage where a commotion was taking place. We see Keith Lee and Braun Kingman brawling all around the backstage area. Numerous referees and agents tried to stop the two big men to no avail. The segment ended with Kingman Powerslamming Lee through the catering table.

Match 6: AEW World Title Tournament Semi-Final WALTER def Rey Mysterio Jr in 13:59. Rey Mysterio tried his best to out run WALTER and use his speed to his advantage. It worked for a while until WALTER nailed a vicious chop as Rey was coming off the top rope that ultimately downed the Lucha Legend. WALTER has powered his way to the AEW World Title match at AEW Summit!

Match 7: AEW World Title Tournament Semi-Final Bryan Danielson def Kevin Steen in 15:36. This was arguably the best match so far of the whole tournament. Both men worked extremely well together. The fans were on the edge of their seats as the two traded near falls and reversals. However, it was Bryan who tapped out Steen with the LaBell Lock to punch his ticket to the AEW World Title match to face WALTER at AEW Summit a week from Saturday.

Can Bryan overcome The Ring General at AEW Summit?
