SWF Supreme TV Results [Tues. Wk. 4, March 2020]

qeYGKnn.jpg

From the diary of Samantha W. Fitzworthy

Final episode of Supreme TV for the month of March and this one came live from Newark, New Jersey. The ticket sales hit 9.814 and viewership climbed to 5.779.321, all around decent numbers in the recently reformed SWF landscape.

qD6llvF.jpgbD6Gn3a.jpg

Rocky Golden got the show started by addressing the outcome of last week’s main event, when Scythe made another appearance during his match against Des Davids. Rocky demanded another chance to get his hands on Scythe and this brought out Eric Eisen to respond. “Easy E” said that he’d made a commitment and tonight’s main event belonged to Remo’s next title challenger, “The Dragon” Mikey Lau who’d be back in action after a prolonged absence from TV. However, Eric said there’s no denying that fans also want to see how this Rocky and Scythe thing plays out after last week, so he made the executive decision to make tonight’s main event a tag team match: Rocky Golden and Mikey Lau versus Des Davids and Scythe. Not a bad intro to set up the night’s main event, some good talkers on the mic and popular names involved in the match, so I’m giving this a 79.

7MBpyeV.jpg25UZG0h.png1DWauMw.jpg

Robbie Retro vs James Prudence

Not seen since he wrapped up his short feud with The Crippler, Robbie Retro was back in action for the opener against James Prudence, who I’ll remind you has joined forces with Unleashed Awesomeness, though he seems to be more of a B player or hired muscle rather than a core member of the group, since he rarely joins them for their promo sections. Pretty decent match with a lot of crowd interaction to work the audience and bank on the two men’s charisma, Prudence got most of the offense here but Retro got the last laugh when he outsmarted his opponent to get the surprise win with a quick roll up. Mr. Eisen rated the match a 51 and I’d be hard pressed to disagree.

BUCgAQW.jpg

We then got a short promo from ZWB regarding his upcoming title defense at The World Is Watching. For those who might not remember, Robbie Wright won a battle royal on the first episode of Uprising after Awesome Impact and thus became the next in line to challenge for the North American championship. Zimmy said he sees a lot of his young self in the hungry and talented Robbie, but he’s given his everything to win his first singles title after 14 years as a professional in this business and he isn’t going to relinquish it just like that. Solid stuff, a promo that put Wright over as a credible challenger and showcased Zimmy’s fire, this might turn out to be a pretty spectacular match after all. For now, ZWB’s promo was a proper 83.

cmXGyfa.jpgEylo95j.jpg25UZG0h.pngSVidnhr.jpgpM9mouj.jpg

Fame & Money vs Lenny Brown & Steven Parker

Fame & Money had a match as a team next, something that hasn’t happened since Awesome Impact and it was nice to see them wrestle a tag match again instead of just being around for Starr and Rat Pack angles. Of course, the announcers tried to justify that by saying Trescarde and Huntigdon use their deviousness as well as their financial muscle to skip the grind and pick their matches, which isn’t the best excuse but I guess fits their characters. I guess the point here was to get across that John Greed and Justin Sensitive have indeed joined the Rat Pack, since they both showed up to interfere in the match and help their newfound allies get the win over Lenny Brown and Steven Parker. For the record, Mr. Eisen gave the match a 55.

Uma1ExS.jpgp0O5Ibq.jpgb88Ke2i.jpgpTVhqwK.jpgUEdrBy2.jpg1xdP8o4.jpgWDpvDHD.jpgZMWSLM5.jpg

Hawaiian Crush then tried to cut another promo on Atom Smasher and Rogue, but Kristen Pearce interrupted them, demanding another title match for her clients,The Mission, after they beat Ekuma and James Adams last week. Unleashed Awesomeness then also jumped in on the action and I must say, I can see Bumfhole leading the fan chants of “R…B…B…” becoming a catchphrase sooner than later, another promo weapon in the group’s arsenal on top of the “simply…. Aweeeesoooome” thing that Cannonball and Stardust already have going for themselves. Speaking of those guys, Jefferson confirmed that he’ll be medically cleared by this week’s Uprising on Friday and he’ll be gunning for those tag titles alongside his partner. If Hawaiian Crush claim that Smasher & Rogue won’t be getting a title shot simply because they attacked the champions and if The Mission already blew theirs at Awesome Impact, then The Awesomeness just have to be the challengers at The World Is Watching. Good stuff, I’m curious to see where this leads and a 63 for this angle.

gvy0H2L.jpg4a1C8BJ.jpg

It’s been a while, but Dominic DeSousa and Joe Sexy made another TV appearance with the veteran manager saying he pulled some strings to get his client some air time, not just for this promo but also for a match. DeSousa seemed oblivious to the fact until it was brought up but confidently claimed he can throw down with anyone. He didn’t look that thrilled though when his manager revealed the match participants: Dominic and The Crippler versus Mainstream Hernandez and Valiant. Pretty big if you ask me, Dom should get the rub by being in the ring with the veterans and he could be a fall guy without that damaging him much by losing to such big names, or he could further build his brand with a win over any of his opponents. A 59 for the promo seems fair.

OffRXjh.jpgz0va49v.jpgnq2GDOi.jpg2gUyrYj.jpg25UZG0h.pngNpVvUsB.jpgcpAGu2w.jpgqm4JcZ6.jpg

Supreme Dream Team (with Dulce Moreno) vs Brandon James & Best of the Best

Allen and Bekowski versus Gilmore and Morgan blazes on, apparently, and again it was nice to see them compete as a three piece unit alongside Spade here. Brandon James felt a bit randomly thrown in, but I guess his “messed up in the head” gimmick can justify it, plus he needs something to do after losing the feud to Starr and if the idea is to have him build up Spade I’m all for it. Can’t tell from this one though, pretty good action for 15 packed minutes and an indecisive finish due to a time limit draw. Perhaps they’re still pondering over where to go with this, or booking were just testing the waters for now. Way better match than anything else we’d seen up to that point, rating this as a 73.

TvNbpxX.jpg

Speaking of Hollywood Bret Starr, another “paid for by the Rat Pack” promo aired after the match and thankfully he was completely on his own for this, without needing to share the screen with the rest of his faction members. Still, he put them all over and confirmed that John Greed and Justin Sensitive were now on his side (as if that needed any further clarification), bringing their numbers up to six if you also count Willy LaRoux. SWF needs to let this guy riff solo on the mic more often, a 78 for this video package.

inYGk7m.jpggvy0H2L.jpg4a1C8BJ.jpg25UZG0h.pngcMCn9oC.jpgZJznckl.jpgsjzLjoT.jpg

The Crippler & Dominic DeSousa vs Mainstream Hernandez & Valiant (with Hannah)

As announced earlier, Dominic DeSousa teamed up with the Crippler for what turned out to be a pretty great match. The veterans on each team held it together while giving the youngsters ample opportunity to shine. DeSousa played the cowardly cheating heel who picked his spots and relied on Crippler’s experience to see things through, the veteran working most of his side’s control section as he put the heat on Valiant and cut the ring off to work him over with submissions. Of course, Valiant’s selling got the fans all hyped up for the hot tag to Hernandez, who came in full speed with his spectacular high flying offense. In a moment of desperation once he realized there was no other way to put the brakes on Mainstream’s momentum, DeSousa chose to swing a chair right as Hernandez flew at him with a suicide dive, an impactful spot that the referee did catch on to however, disqualifying the heels and declaring Valiant and Hernadez as the victors via DQ. Not bad, though the finish let it down a bit, especially since it came right after another indecisive one in the trios match, 68.

ZqKAoE0.jpgz8OxNfM.jpgC9699rl.jpgpTVhqwK.jpg

Cut backstage and The Mission were beating down Marshall Dillon. It was unclear whether they’d surprised him, but even if they hadn’t, the two on one advantage would eventually prevail. Kristen Pearce was around for some screaming and trash talk that added to the scene, with all three mocking Dillon in the end for leaving Kobb behind and thinking he could just get a piece of Ranger. Short and sharp as it should be, a 59 here seals the deal.

qD6llvF.jpgWBnSRhJ.jpg25UZG0h.pngkFrQtdk.jpgRSL6GBd.jpg

Rocky Golden & Mikey Lau vs Des Davids & Scythe

Main event time and man, were there a lot of tag matches on this night or what. I would have preferred a singles match for Lau’s return, even if it would be super predictable that he’d win to build up momentum for his title shot, but I guess some politics were at play here and the Rocky-Scythe angle just wouldn’t be overlooked. Not that I wasn’t excited to see the Dragon back in action and his apparent chemistry with Rocky Golden elevated the match from great to exceptional. Davids also put in some great work, proving he’s outgrown the North American title scene and should be moving up the ranks with the major players, all of which he seems able to comfortably hang with. Not sure how I feel about Scythe’s limited spotlight here, he’s a big star in a feud with your #1 guy so he should be getting more attention on one hand, on the other I understand the need to maintain the mystique his gimmick requires and trying to avoid overexposure. Twenty five plus minutes flew by and they got me in the finishing stretch, which featured an extended sequence of near falls that had everyone excited, until sure enough, Lau got the pin. Couldn’t help noticing though, it was done by hitting Davids with the Dragon Whip, so it seems the Scything Kick was heavily protected. Match of the night, as the main event should be, at 77.

2tpRL3H.jpgWBnSRhJ.jpg

I thought the episode would end there on a high note with Lau’s return win, but apparently they wanted to press the advantage and twist the knife: Remo’s music hit and the SWF World Heavyweight champion came out to raise his title in the air in response to Lau’s celebration. Wouldn’t quite call it a staredown given the distance between them, but it was a challenge and an answer alright, hot finish that deserves an 85.

All in all it was a good episode at 77, the positives outweighing the negatives. I think the biggest problem at this point is the transition from the brand split back into a unified roster with two weekly TV shows, which makes it hard for everyone to get some air time and causes the storytelling to fall behind on certain feuds sometimes. Hopefully Mr. Eisen’s sons and their booker will finally settle on one thing and try to build on that, instead of constantly changing the game.

Another month of USPW action is building to a finale as we have arrived at the 'go-home' show of American Wrestling before Liberty & Justice on Saturday night.

It was rare last week that we didn't see Nicky Champion or Steve Frehley at all including those associated around them. We do know that they'll meet at Liberty & Justice and that
Champion
will be in action this week as he takes on Frehley's muscle in
Big Bubba
. Champion has given himself quite the mammoth match before Saturday's Special Event and it's more than possible that Bubba could topple Mr. USPW.

Charity Sweet
hasn't been seen since her big win over Raven Robinson last month but has herself a match this week vs
'The Iron Lady' Jillian Jarvis
. Sweet has made it clear on social media she has title intentions but so does Jarvis. Should be a good one.

Four members of
The Business
will seemingly take on
The Force & Natural Storm
in what acts as the final piece of build up to this ongoing feud between the sides.

The four way is set for Saturday with the National Title up for grabs but a six-man tag has been arranged for Wednesday with the three challengers in
Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Casey Valentine & Roger Cage
taking on
Joss Thompson & The Undesirables
.

The main event will see a more official in-ring debut for
Jack Bruce
as he takes on
Trent Shaffer
before meeting
Jerry Lee Perkins
on Saturday night.

As you can see it's going to be an action-packed evening with a lot to digest and more we've not announced we hope to see you there!

Hello and welcome to this special edition of the Behind The Curtain Podcast with me, Jo-Ro. This week's American Wrestling is in the books and it's time for our look back, assessment and recap of the show. Let's get into it.

HLSJnbk.jpg

USPW American Wrestling emanated from the state of Oklahoma this week to 15,000 sell out! The latest Reverie figures come through at 11,871,104 which is an increase from last weeks show which was down from the week before. The effect of the last show before the Special Event. Let's dig in.

Segment 1:

The show opened in the same fashion it has for the previous two episodes with ongoing storylines being heavily hyped via a video package and the enthusiastic announce team as they open and hype the broadcast. Solid.

(83)

Segment 2:

A talking segment to follow up the opening. Nicky Champion addresses the USPW faithful, hypes his match on Saturday with Frehley and his opponent tonight in a 'warm-up', Big Bubba. Typically solid but standard promo from the 'Figurehead'.

(79)

Segment 3:

Nicky Champion vs Big Bubba

This told the tale as old as time in USPW of the 'never-say-die' babyface attempting to overcome the big bad guy and currently they don't come much bigger than Bubba. Solid match. The selling was lacking as it's hardly what either man are known for but the storytelling was on point. Frehley & Blake were ringside but didn't get involved and neither did Running Wolf. Clean finish via the Hawkeye Hammer.

(69)

Segment 4:

No post-match shenanigans? How unusual. Instead we cut to a pre-tape from Deville, Baine & T-Rex who state that if the champions are truly champions then a No DQ match shouldn't be an issue for them. The feed cuts and the champions respond with their usual jovial charisma and happily accept the No DQ stipulation so there can be no excuses for the challengers loss. Basic promos to remind us that there are tag titles up for grabs on Saturday but it was good.

(69)

Segment 5:

Charity Sweet vs Jillian Jarvis

Sweet hasn't been seen in 3 weeks but the crowd are still supporting, especially the younger demographic. She whipped up crowd support and took the fight to 'The Iron Lady'. Jarvis is as tough as they come and had her moments but Sweet has found her sweet spot, so to speak, and took the win via her Sugar Smack.

(62)

Segment 6:

We then got a surprisingly fantastic post-match promo from Sweet. She put over the Women's title scene and the talent in the division but that she feels she's among the best now and is calling out the winner of Sara Marie vs Alicia Strong. She wants a title opportunity. The fans ate all of this up.

(84)

Segment 7:

The follow up to this was Lionel Greenwood and his conducting a sit-down interview with Strong and Sara Marie hyping up the title match and the importance of the belt to both. They're last meeting was a double count-out in January. This will be decisive. Another solid segment

(70)

Segment 8:

Natural Storm & The Force vs The Business (Money, Nash, Zeus & Jackson)

This was 11:30 of decent, heel advantaged action and one minute of chaos. The Business had the upper hand for most of the contest cutting off comeback efforts until a ref bump occurred. This offered Jumbo Jackson the opportunity to stomp to the ring and throw his weight over anyone who interrupted as he was looking for revenge on his ex-partner. Nash stepped up and the two began beating lumps out of each other but Nash went for Jumbo's dodgy knee. The chaos allowed Force to take out Zeus with his Full Force finish and secure the win.

(72)

Segment 9:

The post-match segment is a continuation of the chaos from the match. The babyfaces regroup but Money escapes unharmed with the title in hand while Jumbo & Nash continue their beefy boy brawl up the ramp and out of sight. Whitlock wasn't quick enough to escape and is surrounded by the good guys as he eats some finishers to 'pop' the crowd. It's unlikely the match will main event, despite being for the World Title, but the crowd are somewhat invested in Force vs Money in Force's potential last challenge ever.

(78)

Segment 10:

Emily McQueen arises from the announce desk in a rare appearance of her cutting a promo. She hypes the arrival of a new duo to the women's division. The tag team of Rose & Lily who'll be here in the next few weeks. The fans weren't overly interested in the promo as they were cooling down from the previous match but Rose & Lily will be strong additions to the roster. They're a great tag team who were last plying their trade in AAA for a ten year stint.

(45)

Segment 11:

Double backstage skits/segments here we'll couple together. The first was of Bulldozer, Valentine & Cage discussing their shared contendership and their agreement to cooperate tonight. The other was in another locker room with Thompson & The Undesirables giving themselves a pep talk and punctuating the importance of this match for what could happen on Saturday. Standard nonsense but entertaining stuff given the charisma of the six involved.

(81)

Segment 12:

Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Casey Valentine & Roger Cage vs Joss Thompson & The Undesirables

Really good 6-man action here which shouldn't be surprising given the quality of matches they've put on in different combinations over the past month. A mixture of brawling, technical and flashy aerial action made this up with storytelling and rivalry. The ending came when Callum felt he had the match won as he locked in the Honey Trap on Valentine who was submitting but he wasn't the legal man. Smith was and he evaded the chaos outside the ring, grabbed Callum and planted him with an emphatic Backdrop Driver for the win.

(79)

Segment 13:

Jack Bruce vs Trent Shaffer

A fantastic TV main event where we really got to see if Bruce can still go as people hoped he could. The answer is yes. Of course it helped having a star like Shaffer. A guy perhaps lost in the shuffle but can have a good to great match with anybody. Bruce looked in trouble at times but I don't think anyone ever actually thought he would lose here before Saturday. A New York Minute ended this affair to the delight of the crowd seeing Bruce in action.

(82)

Segment 14:

Bruce drank in the adulation of the sell out crowd before addressing Perkins. He cut a promo stating that he's still the best in the business and that the 'God of Country' will fall to the 'God of Rock' on Saturday and he'll cut short JLP's USPW career before it even really gets started. The segment fell flat after the match and I understand trying to put the match over as a big deal but it hasn't caught the desire of the fans as the company has intended. A flat ending.

(67)

<div style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(0,0,0);"></div>

Once again another consistently strong show for USPW and a great effort for their 'go-home' before Saturdays event that was only blemished by the underwhelming closing promo from Bruce but they can't all be winners. An 81 tonight. Not better or worse than last week but consistency is key. It's fun to notice though that every match tonight had a babyface victory which isn't always common for a 'Sports Entertainment' format.

Four title matches and a couple of grudge matches make up the bulk of Saturdays card and on paper it should be a great show.

Til next time friends, I'm Jo-Ro.

SWF Uprising Results [Fri. Wk. 4, Mar. 2020]

Gf1mgKs.jpg

From the diary of Samantha W. Fitzworthy

Final Uprising for the month, which to me quite frankly always signals it’s time for the competition to drop their big Pay Per Views, but my job is my job and I had to sit in the after hours with Mr. Eisen and take notes on the show. This one went down at Bakersfield in California, with numbers coming in at 9.386 for paying fans and a total of 5.789.069 viewers.

gvy0H2L.jpgw/4a1C8BJ.jpg25UZG0h.png1DWauMw.jpgw/UEdrBy2.jpg25UZG0h.pngZJznckl.jpgw/sjzLjoT.jpg

Dominic DeSousa (with Joe Sexy) vs James Prudence (with RBB) vs Valiant (with Hannah)

I guess the location was justification enough to open the show with this match, featuring three California dudes to get the audience going from the start. Quite uncharacteristic to open the show with a match too, but I appreciate the occasional change of pace. Speaking of pace, I don’t think any of the three men used a single rest hold throughout the match, this was go go go at all times and it did the job it was supposed to do, giving fans something to cheer when Valiant got the clean win over Prudence. Main event babyface gets a win, check. Veteran takes the fall, check. Prospect kept out of the mix to stay protected, check, a good 64 for the opening contest.

ZqKAoE0.jpg25UZG0h.pngz8OxNfM.jpgw/pTVhqwK.jpgC9699rl.jpg

Marshall Dillon vs Matty Faith (with Kirsten Pearce and Ranger)

I guess this was the storytelling match of the night, in light of Dillon getting attacked on Supreme TV. Lil’ shot at revenge, while still keeping the big match against his former teammate for a major show. Some good brawling on display as you’d expect from these two, think the style also fit the feel of this being a rather personal fight. Having Ranger and Pearce at ringside of course meant that Dillon had the odds stacked against him and much like with the attack on Tuesday, the numbers don’t lie. Interesting twist though to skip the temptation of a dirty finish with interference from outside, it was just a case of the harassment eventually getting the best of Dillon and setting him up for a clean pin once Faith hit the Crackdown. I should also point out, I heard lil’ Matty’s been spending time with the RIPW recruits down at the Performance Center and it’s really starting to show, he’s bridging that gap and catching up to Ranger between the ropes. Not a bad match, but not great either, 58 is where it’s at.

ZqKAoE0.jpgz8OxNfM.jpgC9699rl.jpgpTVhqwK.jpg

I’m not sure they had to go with the extra heat of a post match attack though, especially after Faith won clean, but I guess it’s part of emphasizing how Dillon’s on his own against overwhelming odds. No save either and very few chants for Kobb to come out, so fans are aware of that connection being severed for good. Mr. Eisen thought it was just Faith giving himself some extra TV time though and rated the angle as a 63.

x70kFLp.jpg

Robbie Wright then came up on screen to talk about his upcoming title match against ZWB. Wright mocked the champion’s references to his “first singles championship” and how long it took him to get there, saying his title reign will be the exact opposite, brief and unmemorable. Pretty standard promo, but I like how this rivalry’s shaping up. Between their looks, wrestling and mic skills, they’re very much a reflection of each other and it’s bound to be an exciting match when it happens. For now, the promo itself would be a 69.

SVidnhr.jpgw/pM9mouj.jpg25UZG0h.pngx70kFLp.jpg

Lenny Brown (with Steven Parker) vs Robbie Wright

I’m a little conflicted here. Yes, Lenny’s a good worker and a credible opponent, yes they had another pedal to the medal match like the opener, but with him kinda lost in the shuffle and paired with Parker while Robbie’s getting a title shot, there was never any doubt about the outcome of the match and I’m not sure throwing Brown of all people under the bus was a wise move. I liked how Parker was there for his teammate and kept foiling Robbie’s shenanigans, it helped justify why the match went on for nearly fifteen minutes but even with the dirty finish of Wright holding the tights for the pin, I’m still conflicted. 53 for this one.

2tpRL3H.jpg

A long vignette aired next, a montage of Remo’s training routine between shots of him demolishing training partners in a ring with his signature moves. The champ also got to talk about his upcoming title match and share his thoughts. He put over his opponent as a great athlete, but said it takes more than athleticism and some fancy kicks to be a champion in wrestling. Might have been his tone and cadence, this felt like one of those “this is a different ball game” promos wrestlers usually cut on former Mixed Martial Artists. I liked it, even if it wasn’t one of Remo’s finest, still a good 85.

Rogue (with Atom Smasher) vs Sylvester Weatherfield (with Hawaiian Crush)

Let’s see, Rogue got a win, Weatherfield got the rub and TV exposure, plus it was actually a competitive match instead of the squash I expected. The youngster’s athleticism was in full display and it took mind games from the veteran to turn things around, which made the match feel a bit longer than the ten minutes it actually was. The flipside here was that the action outside overshadowed the match itself, as did the commentary revolving around the tag title feud. It might have been better to pull this off without anyone at ringside. Come to think of it, there were a lot of people ringside on this night. Anyway, Rogue hit a Crashing On and pinned his opponent clean, 60 according to Mr. Eisen and I’m inclined to agree.

cMCn9oC.jpg

We then got a straightforward promo, featuring Mainstream Hernandez. The Canadian talked about last week’s match and the chair shot from DeSousa, saying the company one keeps is bound to affect them sooner or later: he chose to team up with a former SWF World Heavyweight champion, while DeSousa chose to associate himself with the likes of Joe Sexy and The Crippler. He then berated The Crippler as a man who deep down inside hates himself for not having the career and success he probably wanted, so instead of being an inspiring veteran, he chose to be a bitter man who wants to put younger, more successful wrestlers out of commission before he himself retires. Won’t lie, I liked the storytelling and character development in this one, even if Mr. Eisen rated it only a 59.

nq2GDOi.jpgw/2gUyrYj.jpgz0va49v.jpgOffRXjh.jpg25UZG0h.pngcpAGu2w.jpgw/qm4JcZ6.jpg

Spencer Spade (with Supreme Dream Team) vs Tom Gilmore (with Joey Morgan)

Yay, more singles matches with everyone’s ally at ringside… Also, another match where they went balls to the wall, only they really did their absolute best to steal the show. Which turned out a mixed bag, because Spade’s mic skills often tend to overshadow his slick in-ring ability but it also exposed how Gilmore's age is slowly catching up with him. I also realized now that I type it out that this was probably done in service of the story they were trying to tell between the ropes. See, with so many people at ringside, the ref eventually ruled the match a no contest when he realized he couldn’t keep tabs on all those people or single out a single person to disqualify, so the wrestlers constantly upping the ante naturally led to this chaotic conclusion. Which makes sense if you want to protect both men at the expense of having to pick a single winner I guess, but no one likes these kind of endings and all this overbooking ended up limiting what these two great wrestlers can do if you put them in a straightforward match. I think Mr. Eisen was a little generous to rate this as a 69.

RSL6GBd.jpg

Remember Tuesday when I said that Scythe’s gimmick needs to be protected from overexposure? Well someone got the memo it seems, because they shot his promo in a dark, candle-lit location this week that perfectly fits his occult persona. Like, seriously, what’s the point of using supernatural gimmicks if you don’t go all out with them? If you're doing sports entertainment, lean into it and give me more stuff like this, less of those “realistic” interview talk promos. But I’m getting carried away. Scythe actually made a great point here, challenging Rocky to a match that will end their rivalry at the next Pay Per View in April, The World is Watching. The twist however is, there will be a stipulation to ensure an undeniable winner and whoever wins their TV match next Tuesday gets to pick it. I’m sorry, Scythe versus Rocky on free television? With this kind of build? Color me intrigued, to grade this 78 feels like robbery.

Brandon James & Jungle Lord vs The Awesomeness (with BJ O’Neil)

Oh good, a single manager outside the ring and someone who actually manages their client long term. People keep saying The Awesomeness should turn babyface given the reactions they get from the crowds and with this being their reunion match after Stardust’s rib injury, there was an added reason to root for them. As good as their veteran opponents are, they could at best pull off duelling chants from a crowd divided, though I must say the wrestling itself was rock solid. James once again pulled out his “Big Cat” facepaint to match his partner’s character and their powerhouse duo was a good contrast to the heels’ flashy offence, making this an entertaining match at 67 before Stardust wrapped it up and put a bow on top by getting the pin over Jungle Lord with the Shock And Awe.

TvNbpxX.jpgw/W31esv4.jpg25UZG0h.pngWBnSRhJ.jpg

Hollywood Bret Starr (with Krissy Angelle) vs Mikey Lau

I guess I’ve complained enough about ringside presence, but it felt genuinely strange to see Hollywood Bret Starr without the Rat Pack, even more so when they did not get involved in the match. Not that Angelle is bad, but Starr has enough of a presence on his own to not need her and they just don’t gel together the way she did with “Big Money” Brandon James. That aside, the match was exceptional in every way, another PPV level singles contest we got for free on TV as SWF seems hellbent on pulling out the big guns to reclaim some of its lost audience. Much like the Robbie Wright match, I had similar thoughts here since Lau’s headed for a title shot, but I’ll admit they got me; on more than one occasion, I thought Starr was actually going to get the win before it turned out to be a false finish. Plus these two also went all out, so the near falls in the finishing stretch had all the impact and intensity required to make a quick cradle pin convincing as “The Dragon” picked up the win. Not a bad way to pull this off, Mikey gains momentum for his title match but had to work hard in order to get the pin, while Starr was somewhat protected and can blame the loss on his cronies or something. Excellent finish, 71 for the main event.

Final grade is a notch above the last match, a 72 for the episode. I liked the matches and what they’re doing with Scythe, it was good to see The Awesomeness wrestle together again but I raised an eyebrow on several occasions in regards to the matchups or all the people outside the ring.

USPW World Championship

Rich Money © [vs] The Force

For the second event in a row the World title match opened the show and the adage has always been if you're not on last then you want to be on first. Force's future world title opportunities were on the line here and it was a great last hurrah for the painted warrior as a challenger who hasn't been champion in almost 15 years but holds the second most reigns in history. He gave it a great effort with his usual array of powerhouse moves and at one point caught the champion, who was attempting a crossbody, in mid-air and hoisted him up for a crushing Full Force Jackhammer resulting in a 2.7 count but that was as close as he got. Money is as wise as they come and allowed Force to tire himself out before capitalising. An emphatic Bank Roll followed up by his Dollars From Heaven frog splash was enough for Money to retain the title and enter month number nine as USPW World Champion.

Winner: Rich Money (Rich Money makes defence number 11 of the USPW World Title)

USPW Tag Team Championship

Flight & Might [vs] The Titans

Three towering physical specimens of the human form and a high flying lightweight made up the combatants here. Jett may have been the smallest guy in the ring but he ran the show tonight and did absolutely everything he could to ensure he and Moor would emerge still as champions. Baine & Rex clearly looked to Julius Moor as the bigger threat to their title challenge and together did all they could to eliminate him but they completely overlooked "The Amazing" Jett. Moor & Baine took their fight to the outside which left Jett to do his thing. He stunned The Jurassic Power and landed back-to-back Jett Take-Off's (Top Rope Flying DDT) and instantly followed that up with double Emergency landings (450 splashes). Baine got the better of Moor and watched on as Rex ate the offence and couldn't muster a fight back. He also watched and didn't intervene when Jett covered the Super Heavyweight for a count of 3.

Winners: Flight & Might (Flight & Might make defence number 6 of the USPW World Tag Titles)

USPW Womens Championship

Alicia Strong © [vs] Sara Marie

Strong and Marie have a sort of intangible chemistry that doesn't come along often and is rarely duplicated. With nine title reigns between them (8-1 in favour of Strong) there's a lot of prestige between the two and both women put on a technical clinic here that was very appreciated by the USPW fanbase. A match littered with submission holds and reversals to those holds with near pinfalls galore. Ultimately the technical side began to fade away as they often found themselves equal to the other. Sara Marie kept things honest with her varied moveset and had the better of Strong so the champion began to resort to underhanded tactics. Hair pulling and eye pokes drew heat but the challenger was undeterred and continued to rally. Her Energy Burst finish off the ropes was met with a superkick that dazed the challenger long enough for Strong to land her Strong Arm Tactic and secure the 3-count to retain her championship.

Winner: Alicia Strong (Strong makes defence number 1 of her USPW Women's Championship)

xiM3EQy.jpgEJq9VkI.jpgeajb5wJ.jpgmhJc3HZ.jpgooABBja.jpg

Rick Law & Running Wolf [vs] Big Bubba & Tavon Blake

Bubba & Blake have been effective but not dominant as the recently recruited back-up to Steve Frehley whilst Law & Wolf have been established singles stars for a number of years how who have stood by the side of Nicky Champion. This was a fairly paint by numbers match with the little and large duo of Blake & Bubba using underhanded tactics combined with Bubba's overwhelming strength and Blake's swift and precise strikes to suppress the fan favourites but they couldn't be suppressed for long and Law & Wolf worked beautifully together in their comeback spots so isolate Blake from the predatory presence of Bubba. A Long Arm of the Law followed up by a Wolf Tamer was enough to put down Tavon Blake and pick up the 3-count for the babyfaces.

Winners: Rick Law & Running Wolf

Big Josh Nash [vs] Jumbo Jackson

Nash, formerly Atlas, turned on Jumbo over a month ago after they kept coming up short in tag battles due to Jumbo's bad knee. Nash was unveiled as Rich Money's new 'Insurance Policy' and Jackson is not content to let it go down like that.

This was a sprint of a beefy brawl between two goliaths who clobbered the heck out of each other. Ultimately Nash and his new found vicious streak was intent on hurting Jackson more and after a brawl on the outside he planted Jackson with a Kronus Bomb onto the steel steps. He then landed another onto the super heavyweight in the ring that looked like it could result in the ring imploding upon impact. 3 seconds later and Nash looked content with crushing his ex-partner in a little over 4 minutes.

Winner: Big Josh Nash

Jerry Lee Perkins - Jack Bruce

We're treated to the usual flashy video package from the USPW production team that showcases the brief feud so far between Perkins & Bruce. From each man's respective debuts in a hyped 20-minute window to Perkins landing the first guitar blow to signal the war between Country & Rock it's treated with flash, pomp and circumstance. Perkins is shown as the arrogant and cocky up and comer from NYCW roots whilst Bruce is presented as the glorified and revered Rock God and the biggest star in the business, which he may well still be.

VfHkjQK.jpgeajb5wJ.jpglglSGqP.jpg

Jack Bruce [vs] Jerry Lee Perkins

Both men ooze charisma and the match opened with showboating and taunting. Bruce engaged JLP in some chain wrestling in the early goings proving to Perkins and the masses that he can still go and mix it up when required. Eventually JLP grew frustrated with being bettered and resorted to eye pokes, back rakes and hair pulling to regain the advantage and start putting a hurt on the legend. The match continued in this fashion with JLP drinking in the boos and jeers of the crowd. In the latter third Bruce began to rally back but an Irish whip in the corner resulted in the ref going down and JLP seizing the opportunity to low blow Bruce and roll to the outside to collect his guitar. He strummed a few chords while waiting for Bruce to get to his feet, using the ropes to do so. With Bruce against the ropes, JLP took a few practice swings and then swung the guitar at the head of Bruce. The Rock God ducked out of the way, the guitar bounced off the top rope and catapulted straight back into the head of JLP flattening him out. Bruce recovered, bounced off the rope and flattened JLP again as he was recovering with a crushing New York Minute (V-Trigger)

USPW National Championship

Joss Thompson © [vs] Bulldozer Brandon Smith [vs] Casey Valentine [vs] Roger Cage

This fatal 4 way had all of the usual fast-paced and exciting action that has been a staple of the National Title scene over the past month. Initially the foursome broke off into pairs with it turning into Valentine & Smith vs Cage & Thompson. Naturally a 4 way match has no count outs and the competitors were very aware of this as a lot of the action took place on the outside with people being hurled into barricades and battered off announce tables. Thompson never strayed too far from the wrong when he could help it though as, of course, he could lose the title without being involved in the finish.

The quick paced action continued to flow as it built to the finish. Cage threw himself from the top rope for a flying crossbody attempt on Valentine but was intervened by Thompson with a Clean Cutter. Thompson ate a Deep Impact from Valentine and this left the two allies in Valentine & Smith to go at it. They traded blows until CV was hurled into the corner. Smith followed after at a quick pace but Valentine dodged and Smith crashed headfirst into the turnbuckle leaving the big man dazed. Valentine was gearing himself up for his Deep Impact on his friend but was taken by surprise when he found himself rolled up by Cage. Using the tights as leverage Cage held on with all the force he could muster. Bulldozer came around a second too late and threw himself towards the roll-up but the ref had counted and Cage had regained his championship.

Winner: Roger Cage (Cage becomes a 2x National Champion)

Nicky Champion - Steve Frehley

A promo package flashed on the screen and was played to all that recapped the history of the Champion vs Frehley feud that started in 2016. It featured clips of previous bouts including Frehley dethroning Champion as World Champion back in 2015 and Frehley putting Champion on the shelf for a few months back at Thanksgiving Thunder. We also see Mr USPW's numerous reigns as world champion and his own victories over Frehley. The package bestowed hype and prestige on the bout and that this would be the biggest match yet.

Nicky Champion [vs] Steve Frehley

This match had a real 'big fight' feel to it and the sell out crowd in attendance were salivating over the prospect of this match and what was to come but I doubt anybody would have expected this. Frehley hadn't been in action in the last two weeks and looked like he'd been lifting thousands of pounds of weights at the gym. A Frehley's Comet in the first 30 seconds with a near fall set the tone of what was to come. Suplexes, powerbombs, slams and spears were all that The Dark Destroyer was willing to offer up for offense and it was all that was required. Champion had a few brief glimmers of hope with a surprise Hawkeye Hammer that caught Frehley off guard but could only muster a two count. The surprise just appeared to annoy Frehley more as he instantly fired back with a Dark Destroyer Spear and then not one, not two but three Frehley's Comets to obliterate Champion and secure the pinfall and victory. An incredibly dominant display from The Dark Destroyer to the shock of and awe of everyone at seeing Champion manhandled in this way.

Winner: Steve Frehley

Mr. Lucha III & Devine Fortune versus The Succession (Gauge, Youngman, & Taylor) w/ Lisa Bowen

The Pay Per View started off hot with three quality babyfaces – Mr. Lucha III who has been gaining more and more exposure and has really started to get over with the American audience and the quality team of Devine Fortune against The Succession. Gauge was wrestling his first match on Pay Per View this year because he finally lost the Television Championship, Joshua Taylor was making his return after a cracked sternum, and Ernest Youngman was finally starting to get the momentum going that people expected. The babyfaces came out with a lot of high energy offense, particularly a lot of early dropkicks with the heel Succession taking a lot of bumps at the start of the match. Darryl Devine, Mr. Lucha III, Greg Gauge, and Joshua Taylor ended up brawling up the ring ramp while Lisa Bowen threw a fit ringside like a classic Southern manager, including jumping up on the apron early to get into an argument with referee Charles Hapstander. They had a good back and forth that kept Hapstander distracted for…

bQGXzQ4.jpg

The Last Lion, Mabuchi Furusawa! The son of famed legend Hanshiro Furusawa came from somewhere in the crowd and rolled into the ring during the action. With Hapstander distracted, Furusawa grabbed Chance Fortune in a rear waist lock and brought him over with a high angle German Suplex and then hit the ropes so as Fortune popped up on his knees, Furusawa drove his knee into the back of Fortune’s head. Furusawa bailed to the outside and ducked down as Ernest Youngman picked Chance Fortune up and hit him with The Hit and made the cover for the win.

In a decent match, The Succession (Ernest Youngman, Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor) defeated Mr. Lucha III and Devine Fortune in 9:42 when Ernest Youngman pinned Mr. Lucha III with The Hit. During the match we also had Mabuchi Furusawa run in and attack Fortune. In terms of in-ring work, Ernest Youngman was head and shoulders above everyone else.

Jay Chord is dressing to wrestle as the rest of the Succession filter in, celebrating their match. Jay gives them all credit before he launches into his prematch promo. He holds up the World Championship and says that the belt is his birthright. It isn’t just his destiny, he was always meant to be World Champion just like his Daddy and he knows he made his Daddy proud and he’s going to continue to live up to his birthright by controlling all of TCW. He let Aaron Andrews know that there was no way he was going to leave the World Champion tonight. The Succession was succeeding and that was all that mattered.

Alina America versus Electric Dreamer ©

The Women’s Championship match was up next. While both America and Dreamer are very talented, neither are over enough yet, especially in the Tri State area, for the people to really be invested. They worked a very lucha-style match with a lot of back and forth action. Alina America came close several times to winning and got more and more frustrated before she finally threw a straight right hand to Electric Dreamer’s jaw. The crowd was shocked at the nastiness America showed and senior official Ray Johnson reprimanded her for her use of the closed fist. America pushed past Johnson and Dreamer caught her with an enzugari and when Alina America fell to a knee and started to come up, Dreamer hit her Electric Blue Bomb and scored the pinfall victory and retained the World Women’s Championship.

In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Electric Dreamer defeated Alina America in 10:40 by pinfall with an Electric Blue Bomb. Electric Dreamer makes defence number one of the TCW Women's title.

Electric Dreamer raises the World Women’s Championship high above her head. She plays to the crowd, trying to get them to celebrate with her and a lot of the crowd is with her, especially the younger female demographic. As she’s celebrating, the JumboTron flickers to life and we are clearly seeing the camera from someone’s cellphone. They are narrating that they have finally arrived. It’s like they are talking to followers on social media…

XY3rnoc.jpg

Jaime Quine walks out, holding her cellphone up to show the crowd. The JumboTron shows that she has flipped the video to her face. She doesn’t even address the fans or the ring and the only reason we can hear is because the audio is piped into the JumboTron as she says she’s come here to show her fans how good she really is that she can take over a whole division again. She starts running down Electric Dreamer, who is clearly frustrated in the ring that Jaime Quine is talking about her and not to her. Quine signs off her live video and finally looks out at the crowd and then Dreamer. She just smirks and disappears backstage.

"The Samoan Pitbull" Akima Brave versus Eddie Peak

Akima Brave got thrown into the mix with The Sinner Society’s beef with The Wild Ones and tonight Akima Brave got the chance to go one on one with Eddie Peak. This was a wild, crazy match. The massive Peak dug deep into his bag of tricks and took several big bumps for Akima to help make The Samoan Pitbull look like he belonged. Brave did a beautiful dive from the top rope to the floor on Eddie Peak in the first dive of the whole show. Peak got his heat on Brave with his size, but ultimately Akima Brave impressed everyone by hitting his Samoan Suplex, the delayed Fisherman’s Suplex he has had so much success with, on someone the size of Eddie Peak to get the three count and the victory.

In a decent match, Akima Brave defeated Eddie Peak in 9:39 by pinfall with a Samoan Suplex.

T-Bone Bright versus Freddy Huggins w/ Laura Catherine Huggins

We came out of the wild brawl to a proper singles wrestling match. Freddy Huggins and T-Bone Bright told a classic story of Freddy Huggins, the smaller heel working to keep T-Bone off his feet. With Laura on the outside helping to distract T-Bone, Freddy was able to isolate the shoulder. T-Bone’s bum shoulder is well known in wrestling, it is what ended his football career after all, and Freddy went after it viciously. He locked in a series of armbars that really wrenched it. He set the arm on the bottom rope and dropped his knee on it several times. T-Bone got to show that he could sell and generate sympathy. Freddy Huggins came off the second rope with a knee to the arm and shoulder and Bright sold it like his arm had been broken. Then Bright made the comeback and Freddy flew for the big man. T-Bone used some headbutts and his good arm for his offense. T-Bone ended up hitting the ropes and coming off for his big T-Bone Lariat and Freddy took the full moonsault bump off the clothesline and Bright got three count.

In a superb match, T-Bone Bright defeated Freddy Huggins in 12:39 by pinfall with a T-Bone Lariat.

We go from the ring backstage to Aaron Andrews. The Ace went right into his promo hyping the main event. He was fired up and built into his rhythm as he talked about what being World Champion means to him. He talked about how he was TCW. It was in his blood. He talked about the contracts he had turned down. He talked about when guys retired or they went to England or to New York or to Atlanta because they wanted more money or thought they should be in a different environment, Aaron had stayed loyal because TCW was his company. It was the only place he ever wanted to wrestle. He wanted to carry TCW to the top of the wrestling world because he believed it was the best wrestling anywhere and tonight against Jay Chord he was going to walk through hell to win back the World Championship. He didn’t care what it took. He cared about representing the company.

The Wild Ones versus The Behemoths © w/ Floyd Goldworthy

The hoss fight for the World Tag Team Titles was up next. Four big beefy boys in a hard hitting tag team title contest. Animal Harker was the smallest of the four men – coming in at somewhere between 280-285 pounds. The match was a classic hard-hitting, power move contest. Lots of big slams between each teams as they drove each other into the mat. They sold each slam which allowed the match to build more buy in as the crowd just got into seeing four big bulls just slam into each other. Ultimately, Findlay O’Farraday hit his Atomic Spinebuster on Titan – and the 330 pound Titan got more air than people thought possible for the Spinebuster. Findlay made the cover and TCW has new World Tag Team Champions.

In a good match, The Wild Ones defeated The Behemoths in 14:15 when Findlay O'Farraday pinned Titan with an Atomic Spinebuster. The Wild Ones win the TCW World Tag Team titles.

Mighty Mo versus “The Alpha” Wolf Hawkins

The semi-final match was up next. Last month, Wolf Hawkins defeated Mighty Mo and T-Bone Bright in a three way dance. This Pay Per View, Mo had the biggest singles match of his career against Wolf Hawkins. After the hoss fight of the previous match, Wolf and Mo had a real solid match with Mo using his power and Wolf finding ways to powder out of the ring to avoid the big moves. Mo got more and more frustrated and as he got frustrated, Wolf took advantage and went into his stuff. Wolf did all the classic Southern heel stuff and really worked up the white-hot New Jersey crowd. Wolf Hawkins hit Mighty Mo with the Full Moon Rising and the crowd started to boo as Charles Hapstander counted the one…the two… but before the three could come down, Mighty Mo kicked out and people exploded with cheers because almost no one has kicked out of the Full Moon Rising. Wolf went wide eyed and protested which allowed Mo to make his big comeback. He slammed Wolf all around the ring and then hit Pistol Pete Hall’s classic Cattle Rush the corner-to corner Powerslam. He actually hit twice, driving Wolf’s back into all four corners and the crowd was really behind Mighty Mo as he lifted Wolf Hawkins up again and held him on his shoulder as he ran across the ring and then drove him down with the Plunging Spinebuster. Mo made the cover and the crowd roared as Mo got the win.

In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Mighty Mo defeated Wolf Hawkins in 18:32 by pinfall with a Plunging Spinebuster.

"The Ace" Aaron Andrews versus Jay Chord © w/ Lisa Bowen

The main event was up next. They had plenty of time and worked like it. There was no rushing here as they told their story. Aaron controlled the beginning of the match. He was a step faster and a step more experienced than Jay and he used that to his advantage. Aaron focused on the lower back of Jay – hitting several backbreakers. Aaron jumped off the second rope and came down with a knee onto Jay’s back and Jay sold it wonderfully. He rolled out of the ring and laid on the outside and Lisa demanded senior official Ray Johnson keep Aaron back while she checked on her charge. Jay got in the ring at eight and when Aaron came to get him, Jay raked the eyes which allowed him to go into his offense. Jay targetted the neck of Aaron Andrews with some cravats, neckbreakers and even a brain buster. Everything was slow and deliberate. Purposeful. Jay hit another neckbreaker and got a nearfall. Aaron made the big comeback and then Ernest Youngman came running down to the ring. He looked like he wanted to get involved but as he jumped up on the apron, Aaron grabbed him around the shirt collar. He punched him and as Ernest took the bump off the apron Ray Johnson slid out of the ring to send Ernest to the bag. This allowed Lisa Bowen to roll into the ring and driver her purse – which must be loaded – into the back of Aaron’s head. Aaron slumped down as Jay came to and Jay grabbed Aaron so as Ray turned around – Lisa was already out of the ring – Jay was hitting the Cradle Piledriver for the three count and the retention.

In an exceptional match, Jay Chord defeated Aaron Andrews in 25:45 by pinfall with a Cradle Piledriver after Lisa Bowen interfered. During the match we also had Ernest Youngman distract Andrews. Jay Chord makes defence number one of the TCW World Heavyweight title.

The month of March has come and gone here and the world of pro wrestling continues to evolve. The war for supremacy in America continues to heat up as both TCW and SWF battle for the number two spot while also trying to close the distance between the clear number one, United States Pro Wrestling. We start our monthly recap with USPW.

e9wNAGW.jpg

Another strong month for USPW across almost all facets of the company. Reverie ratings continue to increase for weekly TV and this has been most certainly bolstered by the debut of industry icon Jack Bruce who has recently returned from his brief retirement. The National and Women’s title scenes continue to steal most of the light away from the rest of the show with consistent match quality. Some may accuse Alicia Strong of bias in her booking given the spotlight she’s placed on herself as new USPW Women’s Champion but it’s clear she draws a rating and her matches have often outperformed the rest of the show. The issue with USPW continues to be, as it has been for many years, that with so many talents to spotlight on the show, the tag team scene is often treated as an afterthought. Some new talents have been welcomed through the doors including the formerly known Tennessee William who was instantly placed in a feud with Jack Bruce as well as Japanese talents Orange Tsuchie and Tsuneyo Yanagimoto who are working in PWUSA.

The other news from USPW is the launch of their USPW network alongside their deal with Reverie. The network has global coverage but on a small scale and is primarily being used as a platform for their developmental company Pro Wrestling USA. One would expect that the network would expand eventually and serve as the primary source of all USPW content but at the moment the deal with Reverie prevents that.

zt6Uq5R.jpg

SWF continued the grind towards their goal of making it back up to a Large sized company. To that end, they practically let the brand split fade away as Uprising was upgraded to a second weekly main show while Elite has been introduced as the B show where blue chippers gain experience and exposure before joining the big league. The rumored Mexico broadcast deal for Supreme TV was indeed signed with TV-Mex and of course the launch of the Supreme Network gave them a big boost of almost 3 million viewers for each of their shows, as well as RIPW's programming.

Kurt Laramee, Monty Trescarde and Mikey Lau had their contracts extended, the latter becoming the focus of a bidding war between SWF and the behemoths of USPW and EILL but ultimately staying with the Eisen brand. Lau was kept off TV until the situation got cleared up and for his loyalty, was rewarded with a big return and a World Heavyweight title shot in the upcoming PPV, The World is Watching. SWF also seems to be investing in a lot of prospects from around the world, as Japanese hot commodity Yuta Isono, ZEN's Damian Dastardly and Kasmir Singh's protege Parvin Kishan all got signed within March. On the other hand, Sammy Smoke will not be receiving a contract extension and is expected to leave the company some time in April.

Rh4DWrf.jpg

Total Championship Wrestling continued their march towards being reclassifed as Big size in the month of March as well as their continued rebranding of the company as a hotbed of wrestling. They did gain some momentum as they ended the month of March as the #2 wrestling company in the United States, but the #3 company in the World with SWF having more international popularity than TCW does. TCW's big moves for the month of March were bringing in veterans Pablo Rodriguez and Akima Brave to bolster the middle of their card as they continue to build around The Historian's booking vision.

TCW also spent some money this month opening the Texas Grappling League. While TCW will continue to honor its deal with Mid Atlantic Wrestling, the information about TGL is that it will serve as a place for TCW School of Wrestling graduates to go work while Mid Atlantic Wrestling will continue to serve as a developmental company that TCW can send independent wrestlers to develop. To that end, TCW restricted their developmental contracts. Mid Atlantic Wrestling currently houses Riley McManus (the current MAW American Champion), Wild Red Stallion, Marco Gonzalez, and Yuri Yoshihara. The Texas Grappling League -- which is being overseen by a committee of Shawn Doakes, Dean Daniels, Honest Frank, and Dale Kenney features a roster of 20 wrestlers -- including all of the 2020 graduating class of the TCW School of Wrestling. The TCW School of Wrestling has also seen an upgrade in facilities as TCW looks to continue to improve its pipeline of talent. To that end, TCW also started the TCW network, a very small internet broadcaster to broadcast TGL shows and to get the workers there more experience working on camera and in front of live crowds.

For our recap of the month's battles. Let's go to our graphs.

2mI0MX5.png3fA9qPQ.pngHNkfiCb.png

As we can see, all three companies continue to experience a growth in ratings and ticket sales and show quality continues to change week to week with all competing to have the best shows.
