bhutapati
Since touring contracts are gone from this version, is it possible to get this added so that Japanese promotions don't lock up name talent from other countries in long-term exclusive deals? Vinsmoker
Plus similar Hiring rules, like: -No Exclusive Written contracts -No Exclusive Handshake contracts -... -Only Exclusive Written contracts -Only Written contracts -... -Only hire foreign workers on a limited amount of appearances -Only hire workers on a limited amount of appearances -... And perhaps something like "Maximum/Minimum contract length/appearances"
The Dynamite Sid
I'm curious, I assume this applies mainly to mods? I rarely, if ever, see this happen in my games and I don't play with mods

It is how companies are set up in the database
The Dynamite Sid
It's not something that happens mid-save. It is how companies are set up in the database I don't understand lol. Again, isn't that just a database issue?
The Otter
I don't understand lol. Again, isn't that just a database issue? I’m not sure removing a former functionality of a game is a database issue, Japanese companies used to hire non-natives on touring contracts. This no longer happens as they’ve been removed. People are thus asking for a way within which to get Japanese companies to hire non-native workers again in a short term fashion, this being one of many ideas. The added idea for other contract based restrictions would also create a more fluid game world where big companies could have workers going to smaller companies for shows. Basically this is two fold, please can we have a feature back from the previous game, and here’s some things to improve the game further. Both requests have been ignored for around a year now

Gabriel
I think that an option to have a hiring rule like "No Exclusive Contracts for Out-of-Area Workers" would be a good addition. That would mean that anyone who lives outside of Japan wouldn't be able to sign an exclusive contract with a Japanese company... but if they do most of their work there and end up relocating, that would open up the ability to sign them. Think someone like Chase Owens for that one. Brought in as a foreign worker, but now does the bulk of his work for New Japan exclusively. So, he would have been on a handshake deal for the beginning of his term there, but somewhere along the way, he started taking more dates there than in the States (which, in game would mean that he would likely relocate to Japan), and now he's a mainstay with the company. Teh_Showtime
This feature has essentially killed historical mods for me and its really unfortunate. Its not fun seeing big stars in the west locked away to exclusive deals in Japan, but if you set the rules to hire no foreigners then its impossible to have gaijin talent at all.
