Marat Khoklov: Conquering the Nation

Recommended Posts

This is a dynasty National League with Marat Khoklov, Division III wrestler in the European National League using the Cornelverse database. Marat Khoklov was invited to the European National League that began on January of 2006. He was assigned to Division III, the last division, since he is not well known. But boy, how that is going to change! He has only one goal: Qualify for the World Cup and get his name known worldwide by sheer force! Force and brutality is the name of the game and Marat can play it very well. He wants to prove himself to the fans worldwide, specially to those pesky americans who call him "****love". Yeah, he hates americans the most! His first match was scheduled to be against K'Lee Hawkins, a british man whose real name is Kelly and he is afraid to use it because it means getting beat up a lot. Well, if he did not want to get beat up, he should have forfeited his match! Marat Khoklov vs K'Lee Hawkins Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On This has to be the most boring match ever. Marat can barely do basic offense, but he just mauls and mauls and mauls, cutting short all comebacks. He basically dominated K'Lee all match long...but lost? Yes, his offense was so basic and he could not put K'Lee down, so pissed off, he went outside, grabbed a chair and proceeded to give K'Lee a Power Bodyslam on the chair to draw the DQ at 29:20. For his next match, Marat will have to train and use those muscles to do more damaging moves. Winner by DQ at 29:20: K'Lee Hawkins Marat went to the gym and found himself a trainer. One big guy who used to be a wrestler and he started showing Marat better ways to use his size. Marat was going to be a different man for the next match!

Feeling more than ready for his next match, Marat Khoklov found out that his opponent will be "The Lean, Green Machine" Gabriel Green. He is a good brawler with decent size and will provide a good opportunity for Marat to try out his new moves. Marat Khoklov vs Gabriel Green Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On The first few minutes start showing Marat's technical prowess! He grabs green in a front facelock! Go Marat! Then he knocks him down with a headbutt, stomps him...but looks at his trainer and decides to try a rear chinlock, rear seated chinlock and...a choke hold to wear Green down. Nothing says technical like an old Greco-Roman Choke Hold, does it? Then he busts out...a nerve pinch! That has to kill him! People are chanting boring as Marat picks Green up, but Green fights back with punches and kicks. He manages to ground Marat and maul him a bit, but makes the mistake to try and gets him up and falls prey to a side headlock! That Marat turns into a Double Backbreaker to ground him. Marat does his best "complete domination", but fails to put Green down. Green actually gets a near fall after a DDT at 31:20. Marat makes a comeback and uses his new assortment of wear down holds to keep Green grounded. But, perhaps fearing the worse, Green counters a move with a blatant low blow, his 10th in the match and a ref disqualifies him, giving Marat a bitter sweet win. Winner by DQ at 34:20, Marat Khoklov

Marat is determined to win the next match the right way...by annihilating someone. This can be tough, as his opponent will be Walter Morgan, a british brawler/technician who can make anyone tap out with his stiff work and great holds. But has he ever faced a man Marat's size? What advantage does this give Marat? Marat khoklov vs Walter Morgan Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On First two minutes see Marat using his size, but once Morgan grounds him, he starts working him over with holds and using all his expertise to demoralize him. Marat makes a comeback with his assortment of strikes and wear down holds and gets a very near fall at 10:20 after a series of mounted punches, shoot syle, that had Morgan at the verge of a knockout. He does not let him rest, however, sending him to the ropes and back for an Animalistic Spear! That gets Marat his first pinfall win at 10:30! Marat just dismantled a technician like he was nobody, perhaps this is it! Winner by pinfall after Animalistic Spear at 10:30 : Marat Khoklov Marat just murdered the guy. He learned a valuable lesson here, it doesnt matter how early in the match, if you hit a big move, pin the other guy and dont showboat.

Marat was very confident for his 4th match. His opponent would be a guy with one win and two losses, "The Yorkshire Terrier" Kenneth Koleman. He is a very average worker who once worked as "The Pigeon Mask" and that is enough to make Marat confident. Someone who used that lame name cant be any good! Marat Khoklov vs "The Yorkshire Terrier" Kenneth Koleman Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On The first two minutes see Koleman effectively working Marat in the mat. But he makes the stupid mistake of lifting him to his feet and you can imagine what happened: He went for a neckbreaker, but Marat broke it. However, he cannot keep an advantage and they trade offense, culminating with a Koleman near fall at 7:20. Marat gets back on offense and uses all his wear down holds and strikes, before getting a near fall off a Corner High Knee. Coleman gets back on offense, but fails to do anything of note, until he reverses out of a Japaneese Backdrop attempt into a Diving DDT. He gets ****y and hits the top rope, trying to get a Flying Bodypress, but Marat catches him mid air with the Animalistic Spear! Pinfall is academic at 19:10 Winner by pinfall at 19:10 after the Animalistic Spear: Marat Khoklov

Marat's next opponent is one of the leaders, The Juicer, who has a 3-0-1 record and is known as a very good worker, altough a little too oriented to the hardcore. In fact, his only loss, to Leo Price, was by DQ. This can prove to be a great bout and a great challenge. Marat Khoklov vs The Juicer Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On Marat and Juicer traded strikes for the first part of the match. Juicer made the mistake of going for a head-butt and ignoring Marat's samoan-like head and paid the price. Total squash follows, but Juicer keeps coming back for more. He gets a near fall after a field goal low blow and the ref did nothing!! Marat comes back after countering a running shoulderblock to a big boot. He gets the Big Russian Bear Hug, but Juicer survives one of Marat's finishers!Juicer controls and tries a DDT, but Marat counters into a Low Blow. The ref calls for the DQ at 33:10 and Marat is irate! Winner by DQ at 33:10- The Juicer How can the ref DQ me for that after Juicer had done it all match long?

Marat's next opponent was Abraham Slam, a burly australian brother who used to work for UCR as part of the Kosher Nostra faction and also later on under the name Poppa Punisher. He has a 2-0-3 record. Who will emerge victorious? Marat Khoklov vs Abraham Slam Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On This was the total squash Marat needed. If Abraham got more than a couple of punches and restholds in, it was too much. Marat basically slugged him down and used wear holds and mounted elbowshots to weaken him. Then in a pure demostration of brutality, he mounted Abraham with the Mounted Finishing Punches, UFC style, for the pinfall at 8:50! Winner by pinfall after the Mounted Finishing Punches: Marat Khoklov! Marat had no break, since he had a match the very next day against Byron, a good looking, young english worker who used to work as Jay Heartbreak and favors power moves. Marat Khoklov vs Byron Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On The first three minutes is all Marat. But Byron uses a low blow to make a comeback and ground the giant, until he misses a splash at the 7:20 mark. His comeback is short lived and Marat regains control. He fails to put him down, even after the Animalistic Spear and the Mounted Finishing Punches! Byron survives all that and then gets a lucky reversal that leads to a Spinning Stunner and Bryon upsets at 24:00! Winner by pinfall after Spinning Stunner: Byron at 24:00

Marat's next opponent will be the self-proclaimed Evil Henchmen #1, who has a record of 1-0-5! Yes, this comedy character might be the squash Marat needs to get back on track! But his only win came over Bigger Dan Ewe in a Cup Match and this means that we need to take him seriously...as seriously as you take a comedy character! Marat Khoklov vs Evil Henchmen #1 Rules of engagement: Time Limit: 60 minutes Disqualifications, Count Outs: On Stoppages for Blood Loss: On Henchmen is on fire as the bell rings and manages to dominate Marat fully for the first two minutes with basic strikes and restholds. Marat blocks a headlock and decides to maul the little man. He squashes the poor man for four minutes, but Hechmen is resilient and makes a comeback around the 6:30 mark. That is short lived and Marat counters a running kneelift into a big boot at 7:20. At 8:20, Henchman comes back and manages to dominate Marat, grounding and pounding. Marat makes the comeback around 10 minutes in, but falls prey to the same spinning stunner as last time and Henchman upsets at 12:20! Winner by pinfall after Spinning Stunner: Evil Henchmen #1
