ChadMiniMendes Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 Strikers seem to have a massive advantage over wrestlers in the game (unless they have the “constant takedowns” trait) which seems a little unrealistic as wrestling is arguably the most important skill in real world mma. Blackman Posted April 5, 2023 Share Posted April 5, 2023 Remember that you can tweak the match engine. Normally increasing the clinch grappling stat should increase the likelyhood of them clinching. Same thing for the takedown stat. However, in my experience, I can't confirm the "massive" advantage you seem to perceive. Sure, it's decreased in comparison to WMMA3. But wrestlers can still be effective. It's true that - somehow - constant takedowns is way overpowered. Don't really know why as it shouldn't increase any skills, just the strategy.
