Pipers Pit
We see side by side videos labeled ‘earlier today’ as Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair arrive at the building ahead of their huge main event match tonight. SEPTEMBER WEEK 4 DESERT DIAMOND ARENA GLENSDALE, AZ The Bloodline and Tamina come down to the ring. Heyman gives the mic right to Roman Reigns. “Glendale….Acknowledge me!” Once the crowd calms down he continues. “Tonight is a special night on the Island of Relevancy. This is a night in which we grow stronger through family. Tonight, our sister takes her place in this Bloodline. Tamina…” Reigns motions her to approach and when she does, she holds up one finger. Roman embraces her as the rest of the Bloodline in the ring mimic her gesture. “Good evening everyone and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown. I’m Michael Cole joined by Wade Barrett and Wade, the Bloodline just keeps getting stronger.” “You’re absolutely right. There’s a reason we say, ain;’t nobody meaner than Tamina. She is arguably the strongest woman in WWE and now she brings an entirely new level of danger.” “And as if that wasn’t enough don’t forget we have a huge main event. Charlotte Flair versus Bianca Belair for the right to be named the number one contender to Auska.” “I expect whoever comes out of this match will be so battered and bruised that the threat they pose to the Empress of Darkness may be undone before their title opportunity arises.” KARRION KROSS W/SCARLETT VS DREW GULAK *Karrion Kross shows how vicious he can be in dominating Gulak. He does whatever he wants before hitting his Saito slam and then locking in the KrossJacket. RESULT: KARRION KROSS WINS BY SUBMISSION Kross doesn’t have long to celebrate as Bobby Lashley runs down to the ring and as Kross turns around, Lashley spears him. Kross rolls out of the ring looking like he was hit by a truck. Lashley stands on the second rope looming over Kross with his arms up. He’s gotten a bit of payback tonight. In Adam Pearce’s office an irate Pat McAfee and Austin Theory are in the middle of a rant about LA Knight. Finally Peace holds up his hands. “Enough! You’re sick of LA Knight. I get it. So I’m going to give you a chance to do something about it. At Fastlane, it’ll be LA Knight versus Austin Theory. How about that?” McAfee suddenly is all smiles. “Mr. Pearce, this is why you’re the best authority in WWE.” The Brand leaves and its clear Pearce isn’t buying what McAfee is selling. IYO SKY VS LYRA VALKYRIA *An even match throughout the first half. They show some good chemistry in the ring. Iyo begins building momentum and hits a spinning heel kick before going to the top for her moonsault. *Behind the referee’s back, Bayley runs down to the ring and shoves Iyo off the top and she crashes and burns when she hits the mat. Bayley ducks down so she isn’t seen as Lyra nails a scissor kick to the back of Iyo’s head for the win. RESULT: LYRA VALKYRIA WINS BY PINFALL Bayley jumps up celebrating as if she won the match. Iyo has her eyes locked on her former friend with a silent vow of revenge, A video is shown from a recent live event in Phoenix, AZ. In their fourth encounter, Ilja Dragunov pulls out a win over Butch to tie their series at 2-2. The fifth and final match will be held at Fastlane. KYLE FLETCHER AND ORO MENSAH VS THE ROUGH RIDERS *Storm and Grimes show off in this one and win it easily with their double super kick. RESULT: THE ROUGH RIDERS WIN BY PINFALL The Rough Riders get their hands raised and head to the back. They turn at the aisle to give their fans a wave and are instantly jumped by Pretty Deadly. Prince and Wilson take advantage of the surprise, throwing both Storm and Grimes into the tron LED display before putting each of them through a table with matching spinebusters. A replay from Superstars is shown of Lacey Evans' attack on Zelina Vega, Michael Cole apologizes for the ‘highly inappropriate’ actions by Evans and tells us she was fined $10.000 by WWE. He further says WWE neither condones nor supports the things she has said or done. SANTOS ESCOBAR AND JOAQUIN WILDE VS THE USOS *Great fast paced action that sees the advantage go back and forth. The LwO makes a hell of a statement going move for move with one of the best teams on the planet. *The Usos have things going their way but Santos gets the hot tag and begins lighting both of them up with a frenzy of lucha offense. Joaquin makes the blind tag as Santos flies with a cross body over the top and wipes out both Usos. *Santos throws Jey back into the ring and when the ref turns to watch the offense… *Solo Sikoa appears behind Santos, spins him around and lands the Samoan Spike. Meanwhile Jey makes the tag to Jimmy and the brothers quickly overwhelm a partner-less Wilde for the win with a 1D. RESULT: THE USOS WIN BY PINFALL The Usos and Solo leave the ring, but Santos returns to check on Wilde, then grabs a mic. “Solo! Next week, the Emperor of Lucha Libre will take care of you. Mano e mano if you have the cojones.” Solo looks like he wants to charge the ring but his brothers hold him back and they go to the back. #1 CONTENDER MATCH CHARLOTTE FLAIR VS BIANCA BELAIR *They are both wary of the other as the match begins but eventually tie up and they go at it with everything they have. Both get in their offensive sets including Charlotte hitting a moonsault from the top to the outside, and later Bianca blocking a second moonsault, and then picking up Charlotte off the top for a KOD but Charlotte gets her foot on the bottom rope at the last second. *Bianca is ready to put this away, sizing up Charlotte for another KOD when…. *Asuka slides into the ring. Everyone is confused until the Champion sprays black mist in the face of the referee. He flails on the mat before motioning for the bell. RESULT: NO CONTEST *Both Charlotte and Bianca are incensed as Asuka leaves the ring, backing up while giving an evil smile with the black juice running down her chin. “Wade, we still don’t have a number one contender.” “You’re right Michael but what we do have are two very angry women and I don’t think Asuka cares one bit!”

This week Ms. McMahon will have an announcement she promises will shape the future of Raw. One week from Fastlane and some say Shinsuke Nakamura is on a suicide mission. Last week he spit mist in the face of Gunther. This week Nakamura has requested a handicap match against Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser. Is the King of Strong Style out of his mind, or is there a method to his madness? The Viper has tipped his hand but what else can the American Nightmare expect? Announced Matches: Sami Zayn vs Tomasso Ciapmpa vs Xavier Woods vs Sanga Shinsuke Nakamura vs Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser Trish Stratus and Lita vs Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler LIVE this Monday* night on USA! *Show will drop tomorrow (Tues)

Kimberly
OCTOBER WEEK 1 SAP CENTER SAN JOSE, CA LUDWIG KAISER AND GIOVANNI VINCI VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA *The match is already in action when Raw hits the air at 8:00. Nakamura is holding his own versus both members of Imperium. *Vinci and Ludwig spend several moments working Nakamura over, finally able to use their numbers advantage, but it doesn’t last long and when Nakamura starts landing strikes, he sends Kaiser to the floor with a jumping knee, and then focuses on Vinci, eventually flattening him with Kinshasa. RESULT: SHINSUKE NAKAMURA WINS BY PINFALL As soon as the bell rings, GUNTHER is in the ring and when Nakamura turns around, the champ boots him in the face. The Intercontinental Champion is enraged, from the embarrassment of last week. He ragdolls Nakamura with a release German suplex, and when Shinsuke gets to his feet out of instinct he’s hit with a massive chop. Kaiser and Vinci jump on him like a pack of dogs until Nakamura can barely move. GUNTHER gets a mic and tells him in six days, he’ll wish he feels as good as he does at this moment because at Fastlane, The Ring General is going to break him for good! ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ In their locker room, Judgment Day is having a family meeting. Balor is confident that he’ll keep his title at Crown Jewel in the ladder match with John Cena, but just incase, he says got an insurance policy. Rhea is taken back from this and wants to know what this “insurance policy” is, but Balor asks them to trust him. In the end, they all agree to do just that. The Judgment Day seems to have a plan for John Cena! APOLLO CREWS VS RANDY ORTON *Crews and Orton go back and forth and it's Crews’ power which keeps him on offense, surprising Orton a time or two. *Orton regroups and once he seizes the advantage he doesn’t give it back. He hits a lot of his offense before ending it with an RKO. RESULT RANDY ORTON WINS BY PINFALL Orton isn’t done. He waits to Crews to begin to get up, lining him up for a punt when…. Cody Rhodes comes running down to the ring. As he slides in, Orton slides out with a big smile. As Orton backs up the aisle, Cody checks on Crews. But there will be no more running in 5 days at Fastlane! ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ We go to a video entitled ‘During the Break’ which shows Cody Rhodes coming back through the curtain into Gorilla and suddenly he’s hit with an RKO from Orton who had been waiting to strike. With Rhodes down, Orton leans down with a smile, telling Cody that he always keeps his promises. EMMA AND CHELSEA GREEN VS KATANA CHANCE AND KAYDEN CARTER *Chance and Carter take care of business early in this once, showing good team chemistry. Chelsea is her own worst enemy as she spends too much time playing to the fans and she eats a Total Elimination for her troubles. RESULT: KATANA CHANCE AND KAYDEN CARTER WIN BY PINFALL We see Stephanie McMahon, with a black folder emblazoned with a Raw logo in her hand. The new Managing Director will be in the ring….next! ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ Stephanie McMahon seems genuinely happy to be back in the ring. She says she’s always taken pride in doing what’s best for business and that is why she is excited to announce that as her first act as the new Raw Managing Director, she WILL sign the biggest free agent in WWE. This Saturday, she’ll hand this contract to Bron Breakker and in one week he’ll be right here as the future of Raw. She will do what others have failed to do and she will deliver because she’s a McMahon and what they do is…what’s best for business. Outside the medical room Byron Saxton waits for Cody Rhodes. When he finally exits, holding the side of his neck, Saxton asks him about this Saturday’s match with Orton. Rhodes says he should have seen it coming. Fool him once, shame on him. But this Saturday, Randy Orton is going to have to do more than a sneak attack to keep him down. ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ A commercial for Superstars airs, promoting the next episode, available this Wednesday night at 8 pm est. SAMI ZAYN VS XAVIER WOODS VS TOMMASO CIAMPA VS SANGA *All four men show some offense but eventually the three focus on Sanga to wear him down. *That works for only so long until he begins to exert dominance. That stops when Woods hits a missile dropkick off the top, staggering Sanga, allowing Ciampa to whip Sanga into a corner with Zayn right behind him with a Heluva Kick. *Now it looks to be down to three but Woods runs Zayn into the corner chest first and attempts a roll up, only to catch a running knee to the face from Ciampa in breaking up the pin. *Ciampa and Zayn go toe to toe with several close falls. When Sanga gets back into the ring to break up one of those pinfall attempts, Zayn sends him over the top and then turns around into Fairytale Ending. RESULT TOMMASO CIAMPS WINS BY PINFALL To the chagrin of the others, DIY share a quick celebratory hug. It looks as if they have the momentum headed into Payback. ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ TRISH STRATUS AND LITA VS RONDA ROUSEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER *Rousey and Baszler isolate Trish early and put a beating on her. She manages to make a tag but the referee doesn't see it and won’t let Lita in. *Trish takes advantage of a miscommunication and finally makes the real tag and Lita begins hitting on all cylinders. The action spills to the outside with the Hall of Famers getting an upper hand. *Rhea Ripley comes down to get involved but before she can….. The Man arrives, tackling Ripley and now all six women are fighting. The referee counts out both teams and calls for the bell. RESULT: NO CONTEST The bell continues to ring but these six women aren’t stopping. The announcers question if there will even be a match at Fastlane if this keeps up. Finally a horde of officials come out and pull them all apart but a moment later, they all break free and collide again in a chaotic brawl. As the show goes off the air the locker room begins to file out to help at the direction of Stephanie McMahon. Chaos reigns as Raw comes to a close, but what will it be like at Fastlane? Find out this Saturday on Peacock!!! Good night from San Jose!

Pipers Pit
OCTOBER WEEK 1 GALEN CENTER LOS ANGELES, CA Lacey Evans begins the show in the ring. She looks annoyed. She says she’d been asked (finger quotes) to apologize for her actions last week. Well she’s sorry. She’s sorry that this nation has gone woke. She’s sorry that people are soft. She’s sorry that she has to share a locker room with trash. Finally she’s not sorry one bit for whatever she has to do to run Zelina Vega right back where she came from. A replay of Smackdown is shown in which Asuka caused a no contest in the number one contender’s match between Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. SHOTZI VS GIGI DOLIN *Shotzi does not have her guard up early and pays for it when Gigi feigns a handshake and instead punches Shotzi in the mouth. Stunned, Shotzi is unable to stop Gigi’s offense which gets wild and unpredictable as she attacks from various angles. When Shotzi is in position, Gigi hooks in an STF for the submission win. RESULT: GIGI DOLIN WINS BY SUBMISSION Natalya is walking backstage when she’s blindsided by Valhalla with a pounce from the side. Valhalla is like a wild animal banging Natalya’s head into the cement floor, before grabbing a nearby chair and spiking it on her. Officials clear the scene but Natalya is down and looks to be hurt. RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ VS XIA LI *Xia keeps Raquel at bay with her martial arts but once the bigger woman finally breaks through, Rodriguez uses her power game to her advantage, showing off her skills before ending it with a Tejana Bomb. RESULT: RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ WINS BY PINFALL Kelly Kincaid catches Sonya DeVille backstage. She asks the Managing Director if she has an update on Natalya. Sonya says Natalya is lucky she wasn’t more banged up in the attack by Valhalla but she’ll get her shot at revenge next week because the main event will be Natalya and Valhalla in a no disqualification match! BAYLEY VS MICHIN *They show great chemistry in this match, going move for move. Bayley is in trouble early and Michin keeps pushing her advantage but Bayley slings her face first into the turnbuckles. *Bayley takes over, berating her opponent in the process. After working over Michin’s left knee for several minutes, Bayley gets her in position for a Rose Plant for the win. RESULT: BAYLEY WINS BY PINFALL Following the match we go to a pre-taped video of Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus following Raw’s brawl. Becky says that Monday was just a taste of Fastlane and she wants more. She wants to put her fist into the faces of all three of them. Lita remarks that if Rhea, Ronda, and Shayna want to get extreme she’s all for it. Trish nods in agreement, and says on Saturday they’re going to deliver some Stratusfaction and show who really runs the Raw Women’s division! Pipers Pit
Live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Smackdown is just twenty-four hours away from Fastlane. For weeks, the Almighty Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross have been at war and tomorrow they’ll meet to determine the number one contender for Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. But tonight they’ll be in the same building and one must wonder if either of them will even make it to Fastlane. Last week, the Empress of Darkness Asuka interrupted her own number one contender’s match between Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair causing a no contest. Both Charlotte and Bianca have appealed to Adam Pearce to make things right and he’ll have his decision this week. Also in Action: The Street Profits vs Sheamus and Ridge Holland Santos Escobar vs Solo Sikoa Tamina vs Michin Don’t miss all the action LIVE this Friday night* on FOX! *Show likely to drop tomorrow (Saturday)

Pipers Pit
A recap from last week’s show is played in which Asuka ruined the number one contender match between Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. The last thing we see is Asuka smiling with the black juice running down her chin and two pissed off women staring back at her. OCTOBER WEEK 1 GOLDEN 1 CENTER SACRAMENTO, CA The show begins with Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross already being held apart by officials, referees, producers, and a few wrestlers. Kross breaks loose and tackles Lashley over a cargo trunk. As officials crowd around, Kross picks up a metal pipe and swings down several times, hitting Lashley though the camera can’t directly see it. Kross backs off with a sadistic smile as they immediately attend to Lashley and call for the medical team. We then go to the announcer’s table. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Friday Night Smackdown. If this is what tonight is gonna be like I don’t know what the hell we’re gonna see, Wade.” “Neither do I but I know that Karrion Kross is on a mission to destroy Bobby Lashley and he may have just completed that mission!” “We go now to our first contest of the night.” STREET PROFITS VS SHEAMUS AND RIDGE HOLLAND *Brutes’ power works early in keeping Ford in their corner and pummeling him. He comes close to making a tag a few times but always stopped short. *He finally makes the hot tag and Dawkins is on fire, taking the fight to both Sheamus and Holland, This gives Ford a chance to regroup and he makes the blind tag as Dawkins drops Holland with a spinebuster. Ford goes to the top and soars with a frog splash for the win. RESULT: THE STREET PROFITS WIN BY PINFALL “My guest at this time, L.A.Knight. Tomorrow you have Austin Theory at Fastlane. You’ve had ongoing issues with The Brand…” “Ongoing issues, Kayla? I’d say its more like ongoing explosive diarrhea because every time Pat McAfee opens his stupid mouth that’s all that comes out. Tomorrow night I get that whiny little bitch from A-Town and after I deliver some Blunt Force Trauma, everyone in The Brand will know who’s coming for them. Say it with me, Sacramento. L….A…..Knight! YEAH!’ GRAYSON WALLER W/PAT MCAFEE VS CEDRIC ALEXANDER *With McAfee’s help, Waller dominates the match with extreme arrogance before ending it with the Down Under. RESULT: GRAYSON WALLER WINS BY PINFALL A vignette is shown coming from the Snake Pit. “So I hear little Charlotte and little Bianca are upset at Asuka. Well what did you expect her to do? Just accept her fate? Oh no, she is the Empress of Darkness. She shapes her destiny and she will choose where, when, and to whom she will defend this title. But I’d like to give everyone a little peek into the future. This woman has not come close to reaching her potential. She has so much more pain to cause, so much more suffering to inflict and the scary part is, she loves every minute of it.” THE GOOD BROTHERS VS PRETTY DEADLY *Open tag match which goes back and forth. The Good Brothers look headed to a victory until Wilson clips Gallows behind his knee, taking him out of the match. *This allows them to concentrate on Anderson who eventually falls victim to Spilt Milk. RESULT: PRETTY DEADLY WINS BY PINFALL A replay of the earlier fight between Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross is shown. It’s noted that Lashley is in the medical room currently. “My guest, Paul Heyman. Mr. Heyman tonight we’ll see the Bloodline’s enforcer Solo Sikoa go up against the LWO’s Emperor of Lucha Libre Santos Escobar. Are you concerned this clash of styles won’t work to Solo’s advantage?” “Miss Braxton, to answer your question, no I do not have one iota of concern. Solo will do what he was trained for. He will demolish the person standing across the ring from him, just as the Tribal Chief will demolish whomever it is standing across from him at Crown Jewel next month.” “Speaking of Roman Reigns, is he here tonight?” “The travel schedule of the Head of the Table is none of your concern.” Heyman gives her a smirk and walks off. Adam Pearce is in his office with Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. “Ladies, I have spent all week thinking about this situation. I know Asuka ruined your moment last week and it’s still not settled between you.” Charlotte holds up a hand. “Adam, with all due respect, I think it is settled.” Bianca begins to grumble but Charlotte holds up a hand again. “Bianca, you deserve to get the next title shot against Asuka.” Bianca is surprised. “Well, I certainly didn’t expect that from you.” “But…what I want is Asuka tomorrow night at Fastlane in a non-title match. As a matter of fact, I want her inside of a steel cage and when I am done paying her back for interrupting my moment, she’s all yours.” Peace looks between them. “If you’re both in agreement, then consider it official.” Charlotte and Bianca shake hands. TAMINA W/NAOMI VS MICHIN *Michin wants revenge for Tamina’s interference last week but it’s not to be thanks to Naomi at ringside. *Whenever Michin gets a little momentum, Naomi is there to distract her. This leads to Tamina dropping her with a Samoan Drop. From there it’s all Tamina’s power and she ends it with a Superfly Splash. RESULT: TAMINA WINS BY PINFALL Sheamus and Holland, still angry over their earlier loss, are backstage when they spot Ilja Dragunov. They nod to one another and begin to approach him, wanting to take their frustrations out on him when Butch appears and stops them. “No, I don’t want him to have any excuses when I win tomorrow.” Sheamus and Holland don’t look happy about it but they agree with their man. Butch turns and Dragunov is nose to nose with him. The staredown remains peaceful and intense. “Tomorrow night will be a night of action at Fastlane, coming to you from Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Wade, tonight we got the huge news. Charlotte Flair and Asuka in a non-title steel cage match. This one will be nothing but a grudge match.” “You’re too right. And speaking of grudges, Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross were set for a number one contender’s match but do we even know if Lashley is medically cleared? Last I heard he’s in the medical room as we speak.” “On top of that L.A. Knight and Austin Theory will continue this war between Knight and The Brand. No doubt Pat McAfee will be there in Theory’s corner.” “As well he should be, he put this group together and L.A. Knight better remember that he’s up against a former United States Champion.” “And finally, it’s the rubber match between Ilja Dragunov and Butch. We saw tonight that Butch told his fellow Brawling Brutes that he wants Dragunov at 100% with no excuses.” “I think that’s a mistake Michael, when you have the chance to gain an advantage you take it. Butch will have no one to blame but hiumself!” “Make sure you tune in tomorrow night at 8 pm on Peacock for all of this and more. And don’t forget the kickoff show at 7.” Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman are walking backstage. The main event is next! SANTOS ESCOBAR VS SOLO SIKOA W/PAUL HEYMAN *Solo tries to corner Santos in a corner but he keeps escaping and using a hit and run strategy to frustrate Sikoa. *Escobar lives up to his nickname with a high energy and non-stop flurries of offense, keeping Solo at bay. *The Usos hit the ring at the same time and tackle Escobar from behind causing an obvious disqualification. Cole remarks that this looks like a setup by the Bloodline and Barrett says there is absolutely no proof of such an allegation. RESULT: SANTOS ESCOBAR WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION The Bloodline continues their three on one attack when Escobar’s LWO brothers Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde hit the ring, but they’re overwhelmed as well. With their opposition down, Solo and the Usos raise a finger in the air. The Tribal Chief has arrived. Roman comes down to the ring, surveying the destruction his cousins have caused and he gives them a smile before joining them in the gesture. We cut from the ring to backstage outside the medical room where Bobby Lashley bursts out of the room. He walks up to the camera, grabbing it and putting it in his own face. He’s nearly frothing from the mouth. “Kross, tomorrow night, I’m gonna HURT you!” The show ends with Lashley tossing the camera and we see a sideways view of him storming away. Pipers Pit
OCTOBER WEEK 1 GAINBRIDGE FIELDHOUSE INDIANAPOLIS, IN The Bloodline arrives high in the building, taking their seats in a VIP area. They seem to be in a good mood and match their fans’ fingers in the air before sitting down. *The three sets of challengers control the match early on with Zayn catching a beating from everyone. *Owens finally gets a tag and turns the tables, hitting EVERYONE he can. He almost hits a stunner on Gargano, but Ciampa pulls his partner out to stop the momentum. The match slows down and everyone gets involved again. *It breaks down into an eight man brawl which sees DIY wipe out Indus Sheer by double cross body blocking them over the top. That leaves the champs and New Day. Kofi goes to the top but Owens shoves him off and he wipes out DIY and Indus Sheer at ringside. This allows Zayn to hit a Heluva Kick on Woods for the win. RESULT: KEVIN OWENS AND SAMI ZAYN RETAIN THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Exhausted and pushed to their limit, the champions climb opposite corners and celebrate their hard fought win. A video is shown of Asuka and Charlotte’s non-match brawl a few weeks ago on Smackdown, then Asuka’s interference in the number one contender’s match and finally Charlotte asking for this non-title cage match. NON-TITLE CAGE MATCH *The cage comes into play early and often as these two brutalize each other. Asuka takes great pleasure in grinding Charlotte’s face into the cage and almost clears a quick pinfall following a knee drop from the second rope. *Charlotte rebounds with a series of chops which has Asuka rocked. After running Asuka into one side of the cage and then the other, and when she drops to a knee, Charlotte hits Natural Selection for another close two count. *As the match draws to a close Jake Roberts slips a kendo stick through the cage and Asuka wears it out across Charlotte’s back before hitting a spinning heel kick and that gets the three count. RESULT: ASUKA RETAINS THE WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL As Asuka climbs and raises her arms, Charlotte leaves the cage looking upset, standing with her hands on her hips near the time keeper. Asuka begins to exit as well when Charlotte sprints and kicks the cage door into Asuka’s head. Asuka falls back into the cage, holding her head as Charlotte digs under the ring and pulls out what she’s looking for. She hands it to the official at ringside and re-enters the cage. She stalks Asuka, methodically, savagely kicking her in the head, before locking in the Figure Eight. Asuka has no escape and eventually succumbs and taps. Charlotte Flair is the new WWE Women’s Champion! A video package is shown highlighting the path Shinsuke Nakamura has taken to get this Intercontinental Championship opportunity tonight. With the Ring General having surpassed the Honky Tonk Man’s record to become the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, is tonight the night that he is dethroned? We’re about to find out. *This match is so physical that many at ringside grimace as the chops and kicks land from both men. Half way through, both of their chests are beet red. *Nakamura hits Gunther with everything he has, even using some high risk maneuvers to try and put him down but the champion keeps kicking out. *At this point Kaiser and Vinci come down to the ring with Kaiser getting on the apron and distracting the referee, and Vinci sliding in to attack Nakamura but he gets red mist in the face. *Nakamura turns around and gets helicoptered by a huge lariat from Gunther. Sensing that he finally has an opening, Gunther quickly delivers a powerbomb, then another before making the cover and scoring the win. RESULT: GUNTHER RETAINS THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Byron Saxton enters the ring to speak with the victorious Gunther. Saxton asks him if he respects Nakamura after that match and Gunther says that he respects the effort and the challenge, but nobody can beat him. Nobody can take this title from his shoulder. That is why he is the greatest and longest reigning Intercontinental Champion. Backstage, Charlotte Flair is basking in her new title when she’s approached by Bianca Belair. Bianca congratulates her and asks when she can get that title shot. Charlotte says she doesn’t understand and Bianca reiterates that Charlotte told her last night that she could have the next title shot. Charlotte now understands but informs Bianca that what she actually said was she could have the next shot “against Asuka.” Bianca, increasingly annoyed, asks exactly what that means. Charlotte gives her a direct answer. “Back of the line,” before walking away leaving Bianca steaming. *If the previous two matches weren’t violent enough, this one takes the cake. These two brawl all over ringside, both of them breaking the count when it's to their advantage to keep punishing their opponent. *Butch is fighting as if his life is on the line in this rubber match, but Dragunov is absorbing it all and then firing back. They stand in the middle of the ring, hitting each other back and forth when Butch ducks a punch and sweeps Dragunov’s leg, before applying a crossface. Dragunov drags himself to the rope and finally gets it. *Butch drags him back into the middle of the ring and tries to put it on again, but Dragunov slips out and catches Butch with a knee under the chin. Butch is dazed and open for Torpedo Moscow which gets the win. RESULT: ILJA DRAGUNOV WINS BY PINFALL Butch is very disappointed and for a moment they lock eyes before Dragunov offers a handshake. Butch stares at his hand, glancing to the crowd who is giving them both a standing ovation before shaking the victor’s hand and leaving the ring. A video is shown of how these six women got here tonight. The dual history of Rhea Ripley’s rise and the history between her and Becky as well as the issues between Becky & Trish/Lita are shown. Plenty of footage of their big brawl and a spotlight on the errant punch from Lita that broke Ronda Rousey’s jaw. *Trish takes the brunt of the heels’ attacks for the early part of the match until Lynch gets the tag and takes over, especially working with Baszler. *Rhea cheap shots Becky and tags in. They work a large portion of the match in even fashion, then Rousey gets in and works over Becky until she makes the tag to Lita. The announcers play up Rousey’s broken jaw and the animosity between these two. Lita holds her own until Trish tags back in and they hit a double dropkick on Ronda which is broken up by Shayna. *Rhea gets back in and overpowers Lita for a few minutes, but when she goes for Riptide, Lita hangs on and headlocks her over, but when they’re on their feet, Rhea boots her in the face. *Rousey and Baszler run around the ring and yank Stratus and Lynch off the apron, allowing Rhea to hit a buckle-bomb directly into a Riptide for the win. RESULT: RHEA RIPLEY, RONDA ROUSEY, AND SHAYNA BASZLER WIN BY PINFALL Shayna rams Trish into the barricade while Ronda sends Becky into the post face first. They roll back into the ring and along with Rhea, they stand over a fallen Lita with Rhea screaming that this is just the beginning! Stephanie McMahon and Adam Pearce are in the ring, each with a brand contract in hand. Bron Breakker, the prized free agent comes down to the ring and shakes both their hands. Stephanie says it’s a new era on Raw and there is no reason Bron can’t sign with her show. Pearce counters that Smackdown is the place for Bron to be because it will give him the biggest spotlight being on network TV instead of basic cable. Breakker considers both, almost signing one, then the other. He says this is a much harder decision than he had expected, but after talking to his dad and his uncle, they both made him realize one thing. It’s never a good idea to be on a McMahon’s bad side. He tosses the Smackdown contract and signs with Raw to Stephanie’s delight. Pearce, disappointed, leaves the ring as the Raw Managing Director raises the arm of her newest signee. Raw has won the bidding war for the hottest free agent in WWE history. The future of Raw may very well be bright with Bron Breakker coming to Monday Nights!!!!! *Theory jumps Knight before the bell as he’s distracted by McAfee and controls the first half of the match but he can’t keep Knight down. *Growing frustrated, Theory goes to the top but Knight crotches him by hitting the ropes. He then delivers a big superplex but it only gets a two. *McAfee gets on the apron and begins jawwing with Knight. Theory charges but Knight moves and Austin collides with McAfee, knocking him off the apron. Theory turns around right into Blunt Force Trauma and Knight picks up the win. RESULT: L.A. KNIGHT WINS BY PINFALL Knight is celebrating his win until Grayson Waller and Logan Paul hit the ring and blast him from behind. McAfee recovers and gets in and soon it’s four on one as they all take their shots while others hold Knight up. McAfee looks around and gathers a chair. As the other members of The Brand hold him down, McAfee winds up and jabs the edge of the chair down into Knight’s right ankle. Just when you think they’re done, they wrap the chair around his ankle, and Paul comes off the second rope. Knight immediately screams in pain, curling into a ball. Officials hit the ring and force The Brand out of the ring as medical staff attend to Knight. A video highlighting the long history between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes is shown, then snippets of their more recent encounters, focusing on the sneak attacks by Orton and the promise to injure the American Nightmare. Cody Rhodes may have stuck his nose where it didn’t belong, will a Viper strike? We’re about to find out….this is the Fastlane Raw main event! *A great match between these two old friends turned enemies. Orton controls the early but Cody makes a comeback. Orton heads to the outside, with Cody on his heels and Orton uses it to his advantage by luring Cody in, then jabbing him in the throat. With Rhodes down, Orton uses an old school slingshot to send him into the post, busting him open. *Orton rolls Cody back in and peppers his head with right hands to make his face even more of a mess. With a sly smile, Orton lines up for a Punt but when he runs, Cody moves and he catches the off-balance Orton with another old move, an atomic drop. Orton is super selling it, and now it’s Rhodes turn to deal out some damage. *Cody spends the next several minutes paying Orton back and the Viper tries to escape the ring but Cody catches him. As the referee tries to separate them at the ropes, Orton mule kicks Rhodes between the legs. *Cody backs off in pain, giving Randy the opening for an RKO. He makes a very cocky cover but gets the win. RESULT: RANDY ORTON WINS BY PINFALL Byron Saxton is backstage with World Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor. He begins to question the champ about his upcoming match with John Cena at Crown Jewel but Balor cuts him off. He runs Cena down, saying that match isn’t even happening now because he sent Cena back to Hollywood with his little towel between his legs. At this point Saxton begins looking past Balor and takes a few steps back. When Balor turns around….. Cena is standing there looking stern, and a moment later begins laying into Balor. It looks like textbook Cena as he uses his power to manhandle the champion, throwing him around before delivering an Attitude Adjustment through a nearby merch table. Cena gathers one of the towels that Balor mentioned and lays it over his chest as he looks at the camera and gives a salute. *Kross is very strong but Lashley shows that he’s stronger early on and it frustrates Kross to no end. He throws Kross across the ring and follows it up with a clothesline which sends him out to Scarlett. *When Kross returns the match settles down, and it goes back and forth, with Kross finally gaining the upper hand thanks to a hidden eye gouge. He batters Lashley and hits a Saito suplex but Lashley kicks out. *Kross quickly moves to lock in the Kross Jacket, but Lashley powers up, getting to his feet with Kross on his back. He runs backwards, crushing Kross in the corner twice before the hold is broken. Kross charges Lashley who hits a big backdrop. Kross gets up, and turns right into a spear. *Lashley sizes him up and hits another before signaling to the crowd that it’s time for the Hurt Lock. He lifts Kross to his feet and applies the full nelson. Kross flails and tries to get to the ropes but Lashley won’t relent and Kross submits. RESULT: BOBBY LASHLEY WINS BY SUBMISSION Lashley climbs the turnbuckles, hitting his pose, then points up at the Bloodline luxury box. Roman Reigns stands from his seat and glares down at his new challenger as the show comes to a close.
Pipers Pit
Following Gunther, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and Charlotte Flair fielding questions, Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque sat down to address the assembled media. “Good evening. First, I want to thank Indy, always a great host city for us and the folks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Second, only one injury coming out of tonight, with L.A. Knight, he's being evaluated with that ankle. Everyone by now has heard about Ronda and Ilja and they both worked through their prior injuries to deliver tonight. Speaking of Ronda, those six really put on a show and if Rhea is to be believed. we have more in store for us. That's a good thing for the WWE Universe whenever we get half a dozen performers of their skill mixing it up and raising the bar. In terms of early numbers, this show when you consider the early gate numbers, and the expected buys is over a million. I'm definitely happy with that. The big news tonight of course is Bron Breakker picking Raw, can't wait to see him on Monday nights. We also now know who will challenge Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in a month's time. And she did it again, didn't she? Charlotte never fails to surprise. I also want to give credit to Adam Copeland, Edge, and Bobby Roode. They've been quietly working backstage as producers the last couple of weeks and they're showing they have as much of a knack for that as they did in the ring and they're assets for us. With that we'll open it up for questions.” (48 HOURS FOR ANY OF YOU TO ASK US WHATEVER YOU WANT!) Kimberly
A recap video is shown of the Raw matches at Fastlane. Welcome to Monday Night Raw OCTOBER WEEK 2 CHI HEALTH CENTER OMAHA, NE Cody Rhodes comes out in a very nice three piece suit and he says that he has three things to say tonight and he’ll make them quick. First and foremost, he wants to apologize to his fans for letting them down at Fastlane. On that note, number two is, congratulations to Randy Orton for doing just what Cody should have known he’d do. Live and learn. Finally, and most important, Cody’s not done with Randy Orton. He wants a rematch at Crown Jewel and if Randy has an ounce of pride in his own ability or his family’s honor, he’ll accept the challenge. Unless of course….he’s just a little bitch. ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ We come back from the commercial backstage where Nikki Cross is in the midst of beating the bejesus out of Indi Hartwell. Hartwell is already down as Cross frantically keeps throwing forearms into the back of her head. Officials literally pull Cross off and she looks wild and crazed as they do. DIY VS THE VIKING RAIDERS W/VALHALLA *An even tag match that showcases the strengths of both teams. Valhalla is constantly barking, and sometimes howling, encouragement for her men. *The Raiders make a critical error when they miss a double clothesline and Gargano gets the tag to Ciampa and together they double dropkick Ivar from the ring. *Left alone, Erik falls victim to Ciampa’s Fairy Tale Ending. RESULT: DIY WINS BY PINFALL The Viking Raiders aren’t done yet and they blindside DIY as they’re getting their arms raised. Erik clocks Ciampa with a jumping knee under the chin and Ivar powerslams Gargano. As Erik and Valhalla hold Gargano’s arms and legs, Ivar hits a big splash off the second rope. As officials check on Gargano, his wife slides into the ring and after the earlier attack on Hartwell, she looks scared out of her mind. ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ CHELSEA GREEN VS BECKY LYNCH © *This is a quick and decisive victory for Becky who makes quick work of Chelsea after delivering a few Becksploder suplexes and a small amount of brawling. Once she gets Green down, she locks in the DisarmHer and it's all done from there. RESULT: BECKY LYNCH RETAINS THE WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BY SUBMISSION Ronda doesn’t even get her arm raised before she’s blindsided by Ronda Rousey, who has gathered the championship title from ringside and used it as a weapon. With Becky down and stunned, Ronda sneers down at her and raises the title in the air. Ronda Rousey has staked her claim as a potential challenger for the Women’s World Title! Stephanie McMahon is in her office when Bron Breakker walks in. She says before he has his first match on Raw, she needs him to sign a new contract. The legal department says he signed the one at Fastlane incorrectly. Bron looks at it and says, no that’s correct. His name is not Bron Breakker - that was the creation of a senile old man, his true name is Rex Steiner, and tonight he goes out to that ring as himself, not some cartoon. She looks a little impressed that he stood up for himself and shakes his hand, wishing him well. Bron….er…Rex Steiner debuts next against the Miz on Monday Night Raw! ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ REX STEINER VS THE MIZ W/BRONSON REED *Miz isn’t taking Steiner very seriously but that changes when he’s scooped up into a military press and thrown onto Reed at ringside who catches the A-Lister. *Miz knows he’s in for a fight now and uses some veteran savvy to maneuver Steiner into situations where he can cheat. He throws his opponent out of the ring so that Reed can do some damage but….. Drew McIntyre runs down the aisle and when Reed turns he catches a Claymore, knocking him down and out. Steiner sees what’s happened and rolls back in the ring. The Miz is too focused on McIntyre to notice Steiner until he’s picked up for two German suplexes, then a belly to belly, and finally a criss-crossed Steinerline for the three count. All of this within three minutes. Rex Steiner destroyed the A Lister! RESULT: REX STEINER WINS BY PINFALL Byron Saxton is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor. Balor spends his time running down John Cena, calling him a coward for the sneak attack at Fastlane. He says at Crown Jewel he won’t just defend his title, he’ll end the so-called legacy of John Cena once and for all! ~~~~COMMERCIAL BREAK~~~~ DAMIAN PRIEST AND DOMINIK MYSTERIO VS THE NEW DAY *The Judgment Day isolate Woods for a few moments but when Kofi gets the tag the mood of the match changes and now it’s the multi-time champions who have Priest and Mysterio on defense. *Priest reclaims the momentum, but it is lost again when Dominik tags in as Woods and Kingston are the ones to isolate him in their corner and overwhelm him with quick tags and legal double teams. *The end comes when Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise just as Woods dropkicks Priest off the apron and they grab the win to the surprise of most. RESULT: THE NEW DAY WIN BY PINFALL The announcers are arguing about if you can call that match an upset when a crew member approached and puts a small box on the desk. Graves opens it and pulls out an architect’s square. They look at each other confused and tell us the main event is next! APOLLO CREWS VS GUNTHER © *Crews gives it everything he has but Gunther just absorbs the damage before lashing out with a devastating chop which staggers Crews and opens him for a boot to the face. *It’s all Gunther from that point as he shows off what he can do before ending it with a powerbomb. RESULT: GUNTHER RETAINS THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL We go backstage where Randy Orton is putting his bags in his car. Looking over his shoulder he says that he thought Cody had more sense than this. He thought he’d trained him not to put himself in these kinds of situations. Well, apparently there is another lesson that needs taught. So yes, he’ll fight Cody again at Crown Jewel and this time he’ll make sure Cody doesn’t want another match. The Viper and the American Nightmare have another date with each other this time in Saudi Arabia! Will they tear the entire Middle East down? Good night from Omaha! Pipers Pit
OCTOBER WEEK 2 JQH ARENA SPRINGFIELD, MO Sonya DeVille is in the ring and introduces the new WWE Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair. <iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="200" id="ips_uid_1120_16" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZEAXKffoVfo" title="YouTube video player" width="400"></iframe> Charlotte comes down to the ring and says that Fastlane was a landmark moment in the Women’s division in WWE. We’ve had cash ins before but never has someone been so strategic as she was. She didn’t care about losing that first match, in fact she planned on it. Because as she always says, she is the opportunity and Asuka walked right into her trap. So now the title is back where it belongs and it will be here for a long, long time. If you don’t like it, learn to love it. Wooooooooooo. A recap from Raw is shown where Ronda Rousey attacked Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch following her successful title defense, the announcers wonder how will The Man answer the Baddest Bitch in the WWE. THEA HAIL VS TAMINA *Tamina dominates this young girl from NXT who still shows she has the spirit to keep fighting back. Tamina squashes the spirit out of her with a Superfly Splash. RESULT: TAMINA WINS BY PINFALL Kelly Kincaid is interviewing Raquel Rodriguez when Piper Niven walks into the scene. Niven and Rodriguez go chest to chest and Niven says there’s only room for one powerhouse in the Raw Women’s locker room. Rodriguez says there’s an easy way to fix that. Next week, here on Superstars, they find out who has the power. Niven gives a smirk and backs off, saying it’s her funeral. ROXANNE PEREZ VS LACEY EVANS *Perez actually has an early advantage in this until Evans jams a thumb into her throat. From there its Evans’ cruelness which rules and she finally locks on the Cobra Clutch. RESULT: LACEY EVANS WINS BY SUBMISSION Lacey won’t let goof the hold and Perez has passed out. That’s when Zelina Vega sprints down to the ring. She slides in and grabs Evans by the hair with one hand and rakes her eyes with the other. That forces her to release the hold, and Zelina isn’t done, now grabbing her hair with both hands and slings her out of the ring. Evans is furious but she’s also not in a hurry to get back in there. NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH NATALYA VS VALHALLA *The action happens mostly in the ring with some weapons brought from under the ring including a chair which Valhalla lodges between some turnbuckles. She whips Natalya into the corner and charges but Natalya moves and Valhalla’s knee crashes into the chair. *With her opponent hobbled, Natalya goes to work with a kendo stick on that knee, before grounding Valhalla and applying the Sharpshooter which gets a submission. RESULT: NATALYA WINS BY SUBMISSION Nikki Cross hits the ring and it’s soon a two on one attack by a pair of the craziest women on the roster. After a few moments the crowd reacts to two more faces rushing down to the ring. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter hit the ring and save Natalya, sending the heels to the outside. From the look in the eyes of Nikki and Valhalla they only want to keep fighting but officials intercede as Carter and Chance check on Natalya as the show ends.
