All the opening matches for the tournament will be fought this week on ECW on Sci-Fi. The matches have actually been announced and they go as listed: Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu Kurt Angle vs. Tommy Dreamer Sandman vs. Test This would mean that the three winners would face off in a Triple Threat match the next week for the #1 Contendership of the ECW World Title at the next installment of ECW on Sci-Fi. Then Paul Heyman confirmed that the winner of the whole tournament will face Big Show in a Ladder Match for the ECW World Title. This should be a great new episode of ECW on Sci-Fi, so be sure to tune in this week to ECW on Sci-Fi at 10/9CT.[/QUOTE]

He starts to work on Punk forcing him into the corner. Punk is whiped against the ropes, but comes back and hits a dropkick to Knox. Punk starts to hit some knee drops to Knox, then he brings Knox up and hits a vertical suplex. Knox gets to his feet quickly and attempts a back suplex, but Punk counters it into the Anaconda Vice, and Knox is forced to tap. Doring hits a front slam on Little Guido then hits a elbow drop and goes for a pin, but only gets a one count. Guido hops up and grabs Doring's arm and hits the Arriverderci for the three count. RVD jumps off the ropes and hits a top rope kick. RVD tries to go for a Rolling Thunder, but Sabu rolls out of the way. Sabu hits a leg drop on RVD, then goes to the apron and hits a slingshot elbow drop. He lifts up RVD, but RVD swats his hands away, and hits a wheel kick. RVD then hits a neckbreaker, and hits a senton on Sabu. He goes up to and goes for a Split Legged Moonsault, but Sabu moves out of the way, and head up top himself. He jumps off looking for a body splash, but Van Dam rolls out of the way. RVD goes off the ropes and hits the Rolling Thunder, and heads up to for the Five Star Frog Splash, and connects for the three count. He says it can be Sandman, RVD, Angle or Dreamer, he says he'll demolish them all. He just starts to throw Funk around afterwards. Terry Funk made his way to the apron where Big Show ran at him making him go back on to the announce table. Funk made his way into the ring, but he was met with a Chokeslam for the three count. He starts to pound Dreamer's head into the ground. He then goes for the Ankle Lock, but Dreamer is able to avoid it by rolling out of the ring. Dreamer gets a chair from a fan. Dreamer runs into the ring, but Angle stops him with a dropkick to the knees. Angle starts to lift Dreamer, but Dreamer powers out and hits a piledriver on the chair. He goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. He lifts Angle up, but Angle throws him around and hits the Angle Slam, then locks in the Ankle Lock, and Dreamer is forced to tap out. He would add a lot of help backstage, and will help with Dean Malenko's workload with matches. Knox grabs Punk and hits a stalling suplex. Knox then taunts the crowd, but Punk sneaks behind him and rolls him up, but only for a two count. Punk then hits a dropkick and follows it up with a knee drop. Kelly gets on the apron and starts to flirt with Punk. Punk turns around to Knox and Knox goes for the Twisting Neckbreaker, but Punk slips around and locks in the Anaconda Vice, and Knox taps. Doring sneaks through them all and tags in Roadkill who takes out both Little Guido and Balls. Roadkill picks up Mahoney whipping him at Axl Rotten forcing them both outside. Mamaluke runs over and hits a dropkick on Doring, leaving Roadkill and Little Guido the only one in the ring, Roadkill goes to check on Doring, but Little Guido rolls him up for the three count. Funk forces Test up, but Test gets out of Funk's grip and hits a powebomb on Funk. Test pushes Funk out of the ring, and goes outside to follow it up. Test tries to whip Funk into the steps, but Funk reverses Test into the steps. Funk pulls out a table and sets it up outside. Test makes his way to the apron, and so does Funk. Test hits a shoulder on Funk, and puts him on his shoulders. Test hits the TKO off the apron onto the table, and covers Funk for the three count. They throw him out of the ring and start to pound at eachother. Angle runs into the ring and gives RVD a German suplex, and hits a belly to belly suplex on Sandman. Angle starts to go crazy, and so does the crowd. Angle goes to hit Sandman with another suplex, but RVD hits a wheel kick to Angle's back. RVD hits a standing moonsault on Angle. Sandman hits a reverse DDT on RVD. Angle tries to clothesline Sandman, but Sandman kicks him in the gut, and hits him with a axe handle forcing him to the mat. RVD sneaks behind Sandman and gets a crucifix pin for a two count. Angle hits a German suplex on RVD, then goes up top for a moonsault on RVD, but Sandman hits the ropes knocking Angle off of them to the outside. Sandman hits a suplex on RVD, and goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. Angle makes his way into the ring with Kendo Stick. Sandman takes the Kendo Stick from Angle and hits him with it. Sandman hits a White Russian Leg Sweep on RVD, but backs up into Angle and Angle hits the Angle Slam, and locks in the Ankle Lock on Sandman, and Sandman taps. Little Guido then hit a bulldog, and followed it up with a armbar, but Knox gets to the rope. Little Guido starts to argue with the ref, as Knox hits a clothesline his back, then throws him against the ropes and hits a Big Boot. He picks up Little Guido, but Little Guido punches him in the gut, and gets loose. Kelly starts to distract Little Guido, but Trinity comes around and Kelly and Trinity start to brawl. Little Guido goes to help break up the fight but Knox turns him around and hits the Swinging Neckbreaker for the three count. New Jack grabs the chair and heads up top and hits the 187 for the three count. RVD takes his time and runs into the ring and hits a wheel kick on Big Show, but Big Show no sells it. Big Show picks RVD up and throws him out of the ring again. RVD picks up a chair this time, and runs into the ring and hits Big Show with it, but Big Show no sells it. Big Show then hits the Hog Lock on RVD, and starts to taunt for the Chokeslam. He grabs RVD by the throat and is about to pick him up, but RVD scrambles and hits the ref, but then Big Show catches RVD by the throat again. Angle comes down the ramp and gets on the apron and Big Show goes after him, but Angle hits a Hot Shot on the ropes forcing Big Show back, and RVD rolls him up for the three count. One of these re debuts will be that of Yoshihiro Tajiri, he will make his return against Little Guido. Sabu and RVD will also be in action against two up and comers in ECW. Sabu will face off against Mike Knox, and RVD will face off against CM Punk. These should be great matches, and could steal the show. In a match that could get as hardcore as hardcore can be, it will be a Fatal Four Way for the #1 Contendership for the ECW TV Title. It will be Terry Funk vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. New Jack vs. Justin Credible. And in the main event, it will be two men who have been fighting back and forth for a couple of months now. It will be ECW World Champion, Big Show, versus the only Olympic Gold Medalist in ECW history, Kurt Angle. This won't be an ordinary match for the title, it will be a Ladder Match, which means the man to retrieve the title from the suspension above is the winner. This show will not dissapoint, so be sure to order ECW Reign Of Terror on Pay-Per-View on August 20th at 8/7CT.[/QUOTE]

Dreamer hits both Sabu and Tajiri with clotheslines. He gets Tajiri up for a Dreamer Driver, but Sabu clips his leg. Tajiri hits the Buzzsaw kick on Dreamer, and goes for the cover, but Angle breaks it up. Dreamer kicks Tajiri, and runs for a tag to Angle and gets it. Tajiri runs and gets a tag to Sabu.
