Recommended Posts

This Dynasty begins in January of 1992 and I will be controlling the WWF as Vince McMahon as Owner and WCW as Eric Bischoff as Head Booker.

Vince McMahon is beginning to think about the next big star in his company as there are  signs that Hulk Hogan's character has become stale.  McMahon is aware that is roster is aging and is looking for stars to lead the company into the next generation.  McMahon is currently mired in a legal battle with the Ultimate Warrior, another on the companies to stars.  The ongoing battled began in August and yet to be resolved only a few months away from Wrestlemania VII.

Without Warrior, and with Hogan possibly losing popularity, McMahon believes that Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Owen Hart along with Sid Justice and the British Bulldog are building blocks to help carry the WWF if Warrior does not return and once Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Roddy Piper are no longer in the mix.  However, Vince is still looking for his next Hogan that the fans will clamor for as they have for Hulkamania for the last 7-10 years.

Ric Flair debuted on WWF television in August claiming to to be “The Real World Champion”, calling out Hulk Hogan setting up a potential match, years in the making between these 2 icons of the 80's.

Flair confronts Hogan on the November 16 edition of the “Funeral Parlor” as Hogan prepared to defend the WWF Championship vs The Undertaker at the Survivor Series

Ric Flair seemingly aligned himself with the Undertaker and Paul Bearer against Hogan and Flair would play a role in the WWF Championship match between the Undertaker and Hulk Hogan

This match would lead to a rematch at the "This Tuesday in Texas" on December 3rd between Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker

As a result of the of the events at the "This Tuesday in Texas" PPV, WWF President announces that the WWF Championship is declared "vacant" and the winner of the 1992 Royal Rumble will be the new World Wrestling Federation Champion

WCW's roster is led by Sting after the departure of Ric Flair earlier in the year to the WWF.

WCW is also on the verge of losing Lex Luger who is the current WCW World Champion, and has been in negotiations to be granted a release and is expected to be off of tv and out of the company before the Spring.  WCW has a decision to make on who would be it's next World Champion.  Sting, someone else within the organization or a high profile wrestler that is brought it.

WCW owner, Ted Turner, is very open to spending money on bringing in big names to bolster the WCW brand.  Behind the scenes,  Turner has said to be interested in becoming a legitimate competitor to Vince McMahon and the WWF and Turner is looking for the right man or men to lead the organization to the next level.

With Ric Flair gone and Lex Luger apparently on his way out of the company,  1992 may look like a very different WCW.

Ted Turner expects big things for WCW in 1992.  Loaded with solid heel workers,  the company is faced with building 2 or 3 more young charismatic baby face superstars or a high profile superstar to go with Sting.
