The Debut for a new WWE wrestler on SNME!

Recommended Posts

-This is the story from TEW2005 using the FORC v1.1 mod. From various internet reports: James Simmons, who has previously worked in various independent companies in the Southeast, will make his TV Debut tonight on Saturday Night's Main-Event. Unless a change of creative plans happen, he will be using his "Playboy" gimmick, a cross between Rick Rude and Val Venis' attitude gimmick. Here's the story from PWInsider.com on his SNME Debut (excerpt): We come back from the Television break, with some familiar music playing. It's Rick Rude's old WWF music, but it's not Rude. It's James Simmons, who has a mic in hand..."For all the ladies out there, you can call me The Playboy. For all of you fat, overweight, Texan slobs who think Dallas is Cowboy land, and you muscle-bound buck hat wearin freaks, my name is James Simmons. I wear this robe, because under it is a body to die for. I turn happily married women into cheating wives. I turn good girls into naughty ladies. I turn your everyday church girl into an erotic goddess. I'm too RAW for Monday nights. I'm too extreme for ECW. Hell, I'm too damn good for Friday Night Smackdown. I can make Kelly Kelly turn from a voyeur into a porn star. I can take the RAW Diva Search ladies on a night they couldn't resist with a playboy. I can take Ashley from Smackdo-----and then Matt Hardy's music hits. Matt comes out and calls Simmons a "nobody" that has no biz comin to the ring running down the divas. Simmons responds with personal attacks, stating that Matt "can't keep a woman happy. Why do ya think Lita left ya for the WWE Champ?" As he says that, Matt slaps The Playboy. Simmons responds with a kick in the boys, and then disrobes (as most women scream) as he gives Hardy a Rude Awakening-like neckbreaker. The crowd boos him for the neckbreaker. Simmons picks up the mic, "Jealous guys like you Hardy, should still be searching for Nancy Drew. You received The Grapevine because you should've never slapped a centerfold. Hit...my...music!" As his music sounds, Simmons poses for the crowd, doin the old Rude hip swivel. From wwe.com: 'The Playboy' James Simmons made his WWE debut tonight on the Main-Event, giving Matt Hardy what he calls 'The Grapevine' after interrupting his promo. From various internet reports: Creative was verry happy at the heel heat that James Simmons got this past Saturday night, as building his character to become a name in the company. They will bounce him around from show-to-show, but he's expected to work Smackdown house shows and will eventually end up on the Smackdown brand come time for SummerSlam.

The Unlimited Report: -James Simmons music hits and he makes his way to the ring, taunting all the males and talkin to the ladies. He picks up the mic and tells all the soldiers welcome home, and he should thank him, as all of their wives were takin care of by The Playboy. From PWInsider.com's RAW Report: We come back from the commercial break, and we have 'The Playboy' James Simmons currently in the ring. He did the same promo from Saturday Night's Main-Event, but also added to the fact that he hates to be interrupted. "I've taken a look at those RAW Divas, and I'm inviting each and every one of them for a night on the town this Friday night. That's right, The Playboy will NOT appear on Smackdown, as he has other plans. Maybe I'll make a movie that will make an ex-porn star look like an actor from a Shannon Tweed movie." After he said that, Val Venis came to the ring. Val said that he stole Val's signature move, and why can't he be original. Simmons said asks Val the same question, talkin about how Saving Ryan's Private was a cheap rip-off of Basic Instinct and the reason Val wears a towel all the time is because he can't measure up to The Playboy. Val gets mad and clothesline Simmons. When he goes for another, Simmons ducks, kicks him in the groin, and gives him the Grapevine. Simmons then takes off the robe and does his Rude-ish like pose, and leaves the ring. From wwe.com: THE PLAYBOY GETS RAW: 'The Playboy' James Simmons appeared on RAW and was once again interrupted, this time by Val Venis. Val paid for it, receiving The Grapevine for his troubles.

From PWinsider.com's Smackdown report: 'The Playboy' James Simmons worked a dark match before Tuesday night's Smackdown/ECW taping, defeating a local wrestler. He finished him off with The Grapevine followed by a Front Face Suplex. From various internet reports: WWE officials and creative are very high on James Simmons' 'The Playboy' character. It appears he's inline for a major push down the road, and will work dark matches prior to TV tapings when he is doing in-ring promos. He is said to still be "green", and this will help out. He is booked for this weekend's Smackdown house shows against Matt Hardy, and next weekend's RAW house shows against Val Venis. He will not appear on Smackdown this Friday unless they air a pre-taped vignette. Sources have claimed that he recorded four vignettes during the month of June, which could be aired on one of the three brands at anytime. from wwe.com's Road Agent Confidential: Dean Malenko talks about 'The Playboy' character, "I like the way that Simmons is currently being used. The Hype of being an up-and-comer who the fans love to hate, and the women love to drool when he takes off the robe. It reminds me of watching Rick Rude matches on TV, but with a new-age twist. I hope he makes his in-ring debut on TV soon." From the PWtorch: James Simmons will make his in-ring TV debut at SummerSlam against Matt Hardy. He is currently working Smackdown house shows this weekend against Matt, to see if they click in the ring. There's still debate over whether he will end up on RAW or Smackdown.

The Playboy makes his PPV debut! From PWinsider.com's Great American Bash Report: The Playboy James Simmons comes out to the ring. It's the first time we get to see him make his entrance, as we didn't see on SNME, and it was on Unlimited for RAW. This time, he's dressed casual and not in his robe as he was in his two other TV appearances. He gets on the mic and does his catch phrase and runs down the state of Indiana, talkin about how he can't find a club that has young women and not the wrinkled kind. He says that if he had signed with the WWE two weeks ago, he would've won the Battle Royal on Smackdown and stolen Rey Mysterio's title tonight, but that since it was on Friday, he had other plans, as that no "Stud like me" should be working on a Friday night. This brings out Matt Hardy. Hardy grabs a mic and tells him that if he would've been in the match, he would've made sure Simmons was the first one eliminated. Hardy asks him was he too scared to wear his robe to the ring. Simmons replied with, "No, these people don't deserve to see this Playboy in a robe." Simmons then talks about the only reason Hardy came out to interrupt him was the fact that he couldn't win the title shot and he didn't have a match tonight, so he wanted to get on TV by getting his ass kicked again. This led Hardy to getting into the ring, and trading blows with The Playboy. Simmons then countered a Twist of Fate into a grapevine. Also from wwe.com: RAW PREVIEW: The Playboy says he will be in Cleveland tonight on RAW, as he has a special announcement to make. Also, what will happen next in the saga of John Cena and Edge? From PWTorch.com: The Playboy James Simmons will appear mostly on Smackdown leading into SummerSlam, as he will take on Matt Hardy. It is said after that he will be primarily on RAW, and the decision of which brand to stick him on will come around the time of Survivor Series.
