[RELEASE Pack 1] CVerse SHEROES - Women's Wrestling expansion

Recommended Posts

image.jpeg

So like many people, I started to feel like I was in a cycle. I've been playing TEW for years and with each new iteration, I find myself wanting to get into the Cornellverse and struggling. I'm a huge women's wrestling fan and when I play real world that is immediately where I go, but I've always found the scene to be lacking.

Firing up the default data for TEW XI and I immediately was very disappointed to find the same issues remain as previous games. A lack of any fresh talent and a massively underpopulated free agent roster rendering any attempt at a local to global with women's wrestlers impossible.

So I decided I had two options, I could either bitch about it or be the change I want to see in the world. So after a bit of the former, I started work on the latter and that is where we are up to now.

What I want this mod to be:

  • A diverse and eclectic range of new women to freshen up the scene
  • Fresh characters from all over the world with different backgrounds
  • Some links to already existing cverse lore - bring on the nepo babies

Pack 1 released - Download here - 1.3

Pack 2 - In Development

And for good measure, let's preview some talents. Starting with a faction...

Kraków Hit Squad

From left to right: Elena Kowalska, Marta Nowak, Ania Wojcik

The 2020 Olympics was like any other in that it was filled with drama, excitement and world records. But in Poland there is only one event that people will remember and that is the Women’s amateur wrestling. The Polish were able to claim the gold, silver and bronze medals as their team absolutely dominated.

After the Olympic success, Elena who brought home the gold medal convinced her two Olympic teammates to follow her into the world of professional wrestling. The news that the group are ready to turn their talents to the squad circle has all the promotions across Europe interested in their services.

The group embody the no-nonsense style of amateur wrestling, with their serious demeanours and viscous offense. Certainly a group to watch.

Did somebody ask about legacies? No, well anyway...

Devil's Granddaughter

image.jpeg

Being a second generation wrestler comes with a certain degree of pressure and expectation. Some see it as a blessing, others see it as a curse. Katy Krauss on the other hand, saw it as a challenge. A challenge to cause more chaos and destruction than her legendary mother.  DGD has shown no signs of being overawed by the legacy of her mother and has said that she hopes one day a booker will allow her to go to war with her.

Behind the scenes, Katy has shown herself to be very studious. Trying to understand every facet of the wrestling business. Her early preference is to hardcore and violent matches, but she is developing her skills across the board.

Definitely going to keep an eye on this. The two nepos I would mostly have in mind have been taken whether by original data (Ms Strong) or a women's expansion pack for the last game (Ms. Keith). The only one I could really think of is a daughter for the figurehead of this verse, Cornell, or maybe make use of the diversity additions, as someone else (I believe Alpha, come to that) said Tommy Jr could easily have been Tammy whether biologically or through transition, with that in mind Tommy Jr could have a twin or younger sibling whether trans or cis female.

Other than that, maybe another Quinne or someone taking over the legacy of the original AAA owners? Someone asked in a discord group and I'd probably give the same answer here I did there, the 5SSW magic 3 plus one for Kit Hatoyama (though given I was part of that convo I know there is already something in the works elsewhere for them if that matters).

Thanks for the kind words guys, much appreciated. Have another preview, this time for a monster

Zena Mwamba

Zena Mwamba, known as "The Zambian Titan," is a towering presence in the ring with an imposing physique. Originally from Zambia, she gained recognition in the World’s Strongest Women contests before making her way to America to seek new challenges.

Zena turned to professional wrestling, bringing her immense strength and formidable look into the squared circle. Although she is still new to the wrestling scene, standing at 6'8 and being able to deadlift the rest of the roster on her broad shoulders will surely take her a long way.

At this stage, Zena is very green but if utilised could be a HUGE draw. She has some recognition in NYC due to power lifting.

Progressing well with this, been creating all afternoon at work. Wanted to share some legacies today. A tag team related to a legendary trainer and the daughter of one of my underrated cverse queens

image.jpegimage.jpeg

The Thunderstorm Sisters

The Thunderstorm Sisters, Yumi (left) and Rina Hatoyama(right), are the latest prodigies to emerge from the legendary Hatoyama Dojo, run by their renowned aunt, Kit Hatoyama. Growing up around wrestling rings and locker rooms, the sisters were practically raised in the sport, absorbing every aspect of the wrestling world from an early age. Their aunt’s influence has been instrumental in shaping their careers, as she instilled in them the discipline, skill, and work ethic that made her a respected figure in joshi wrestling. The sisters have taken those lessons to heart, blending their unique talents to form a dynamic tag team that honors their family’s legacy.

Known for their high-flying and high-octane style, the Thunderstorm Sisters bring an electrifying energy to the ring. Both Yumi and Rina excel in aerial maneuvers, dazzling crowds with their speed, agility, and innovative offense. Yumi’s striking power is matched by her fearless approach to high-risk moves, while Rina's lightning-fast agility allows her to execute breathtaking dives and acrobatics. Together, they create a seamless and formidable duo, perfectly in sync with each other. Despite the potential for individual success, the sisters have made it clear that their true strength lies in their partnership. United by a shared vision and deep familial bond, they intend to stay together as a tag team, aiming to take the wrestling world by storm just as their aunt did before them.

Valeria Gomez

Valeria Gomez is the daughter of the legendary luchadora Concepción Gomez, inheriting both her mother's technical expertise and her no-nonsense approach to wrestling. Growing up in the shadow of a respected but underappreciated wrestler, Valeria has embraced the same path, focusing solely on perfecting her craft rather than entertaining the crowd.

Much like her mother, Valeria is a submission specialist, known for her brutal and efficient grappling style.

Valeria's presence in the ring is marked by her cold, methodical demeanor. She wastes no time on flashy moves or crowd interaction, instead zeroing in on her opponent with precision and ruthlessness. Her arsenal of submission holds is vast, and she is relentless in applying them, inflicting maximum pain with every move.

While Valeria lacks charisma and showmanship, her skill set speaks for itself. She's not interested in fame or fanfare—her goal is to win, and to hurt anyone who stands in her way.

This'll be an instant import. Looking forward to it.

Glad to hear

I will try to come up with a release date, I'm having a blast coming up with new characters at the minute so my to do list is actually getting longer rather than going down 😅 But I think I'll probably end up splitting this into multiple packs so that I can release something in the not to distant future

I hope we get some Oceanic workers inspired by Madison Eagles, Tenille Dashwood, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Dakota Kai, Rhea Ripley, Shazza McKenzie, Alex Lee Queen of Strong Style or Nia Jax.  Especially Eagles - I can only imagine a world where the WWE picked her up and pushed her.

I really am never going to finish this 😂 Some great suggestions there and I will definitely try and show some love to Oceania. I already have someone inspired by Evie/Dakota Kai on the list, that's all I will say for now!

I just put together a mix of the original data and the women's revolution mod that Historian converted and started off the joshi sans ring circus fed in it with Kit Hatayama as the owner so...yeah this is going to be an instant add for the sisters alone lol

Thanks for your hard work

I found it hilarious that if you go to save the pic of the first of the Thunderstorm Sisters part of the random set of letters and numbers is bae .... she is indeed a bae.

So either Anne Stardust granddaughter or young daughter , like 18 ...could reopen AAA. And or Honey Golightly daughter could reopen Babes of Sin City....I would love that...could fill the rosters with reincarnations from both old companies....

Looking good, I'm already in the process of recreating some of my OCs and willr0ck's mod in my database and more than happy to bring in some of these too! Also hoping for more masked female renders that mesh well with the current new worker pics.

The positive feedback has been very much appreciated all, thank you for your kind words.

As an update, I've passed 30 new characters. Think we will get to 50 before releasing the first pack. So should be fairly soon, though I am away this weekend so will hopefully get it all finished next week.

Guess you deserve another character update, so a 2 sport star and a *loosely* inspired Joshi star

Tasha Morgan

During her time with the WNBA, Tasha Morgan marketed herself as the Bad Girl of Basketball. With a reputation of trash talking, bending the rules and doing anything it takes to win, it's a wonder that it took her this long to find the world of professional wrestling. Tasha created a fair buzz when she announced that she was stepping away from Basketball at the age of 32 to try her hand at wrestling.

The sceptics are certain that this time Morgan has bitten off more than she can chew, but the headlines that her move have created suggest she won't find it hard to find work. Though discipline has always been an issue for The Bad Girl.

A great natural charisma and impressive athleticism should more than make up for a lack of wrestling experience.

image.jpeg

Natsuki Onami

Natsuki Onami is a powerhouse with a growing fearsome reputation in Japan. With her striking blue hair and commanding presence, Natsuki stands out both visually and physically. She combines her raw strength with a relentless, no-nonsense attitude, bulldozing through her opponents with sheer power. Her wrestling style is defined by brutal power moves and a refusal to back down from any challenge, making her a dominant force in the ring.

Growing up and playing a variety of sports, Onami had a strength advantage over her peers and that has transferred to the world of wrestling. Natsuki has expressed an interest in hardcore wrestling and has been seen sporting nunchucks on more than one occasion.

Onami has said in interviews that she is open to 5 star, but that she also would love to travel State side.
