Actually, MMA and Flashiness are needed for different type of moves. The better the (wrestling) skill is, for example, if you have Brawling as A* you'll get new (and better) moves within it. Microphone, Charisma, Acting, Looks and Star Quality are needed to get to a Sports Entertainment fed. The rest, I really don't know.
Alright, just wondering what the following do: MMA Flashiness Microphone Charisma Acting Looks Star Quality Psychology Consistency Selling Intensity Stiffness (Is it bad to have it maxed out? Should a balance of arouns B- be maintained?) Resillence Menace
From the help file of TEW MMA Style: This is how good the worker is at incorporating a Mixed Martial Arts style into his matches, that is proper strikes, takedowns and submissions. It is not an indication of how good he is in an true MMA environment. Flashiness: This is how flashy the worker is in the ring. For example, a worker whose style is fast paced and involves lots of flips and amazing moves has the fans on their feet a lot, and that would be very flashy. Microphone: This is how good the worker is at using the microphone to deliver interviews and promos. Charisma: This is how charismatic the worker is. Acting: This is how good the worker is at pure acting. Looks: This is how good the worker looks. It is not purely down to physical beauty, as a worker who is not particularly attractive but has an impressive physique would have a high Looks rating. Superstar Quality: Some workers have an "X factor", something about them that makes them come across as a real star. This is a measure of that. The higher the level, the more the worker comes across as a genuine superstar. Psychology: This is how good the worker is at both keeping the fans interested in the match, and making the match flow correctly. In a regular singles match only one of the workers really needs to have a high Psychology rating, as he can lead the opponent through. Consistency: A high consistency rating means that the worker produces his best performance every match. A low rating means they are unpredictable, and sometimes will perform much lower than their true abilities, for no apparent reason. Selling: This is how good a worker is at making his opponent's moves look like they genuinely hurt. This is tied to the Psychology stat, as you cannot really tell a good story without being able to make your opponent's offence look good. Stiffness: This is how "stiff" a wrestler works. The stiffer he is, the more weight he puts behind blows, the more real the match looks, and the more fans will get into it. The downside is that the stiffer he works, the more likely he is to accidentally genuinely hit an opponent and annoy him. Resilience: This is a measure of how resistant to injury a worker is. The higher the value, the less likely he is to get injured. Menace: This measures how menacing a worker looks. The higher it is, the more he looks genuinely tough, and so the more he can convince fans he's really going to do some damage. Intensity: This measures how intense a worker is in the ring. Intense workers tend to come off more realistically, and it can improve a workers image with harsh fans. doubt meaning change between games

The above descriptions are pretty accurate. As for what they do, FINisher is correct in that MMA and Flashiness affect what Brawling and Speed moves you can do. The rest make you more desirable to certain promotions but have little or no effect on matches; good microphone skills would help you get into a Sports Entertainment promotion, high Intensity to get into a Pure promotion, etc, etc.
