I honestly couldn't offer very much advice since my approach would be a lot different. I'd change ROF from Pure to Cutting Edge so I could use angles for crowd management. That would allow me to "fluff" match ratings enough to increase the overness of both my workers and, as a result, my promotion. Get a TV show on a network that broadcasts across the UK (maybe even into Europe) and use that strat to get to Regional. Then hook up with a larger network and use that show to get me to Cult using the fluffer strat. Once at Cult, cashflow should be better so I could then switch back to Pure (or even to Traditional) and hire workers who can get it done in the ring. I'm not a fan of Pure simply because it seems rife with catch-22s. You can't put on great shows without better workers but you can't get (or afford) the better workers until you can put on great shows. If you can land Eisaku Hoshino or maybe even Fumihiro Ota (if they're available in the UK), you'd be golden. Ideally, I'd say to look for workers with great in-ring skills but little or no overness. Overness is generally easier to pump up than in-ring skill, after all.

On his viewmyskew.com website. Director Calvin Smith told everyone that he was going to be signing autographs at the Ring Of Fire MASSIVE!! event. Apparently he had caught our show when he was in England promoting his last film Jim & Rowdy Rob Strike Out and loved how we just had pure wrestling and none of the eye candy or necrophilia that plagued other promotions. And just like that enquiries for tickets hit the roof and we had to change venue to something larger and Ring Of Fire became regional (o.o.c Like i said before. Something happened with my game, probably due to me playing but we had a MASSIVE!! popularity boost. This seemed like the best way to cover that up... errr i never said that)

August 2007 (Again) and September 2007 Due to Calvin Smiths announcement a lot of interest began building about our next event but to try make sure that people came, i refused to let them advertise in advance who would be performing. ------------------------------------ September came and i got called into Samurai's office. He wanted to give me an evaluation on my position in the company seeing as i had been there a year now. He praised me for the fact that we had managed to earn about $40,000 in profit in a year. But now that the finance looked settled he wanted to give me a warning. He said that he wanted Ring of Fire to be a PURE wrestling promotion, a test a skill between combatants. Not a place where people could cheat and get away with it. Once out of that meeting my mind began to think about how to fix this problem. The locker room always did seem like a riot in progress but i just thought it was how the lads liked it. But i was going to have to get someone in to clamp down. October 2007 British Samurai called me into his office during the 2nd week of October. I had originally thought that it was just for a yearly review of how i had done but the moment i stepped through the door i knew i was wrong. Besides Samurai's desk stood Justin Blackham and Stevie Stoat. "Take a seat Adam" Samurai said. Fear had practically rooted me to the spot. Blackham and Stoat had taken a real dislike to me ever since i dropped them from Ring of Fire during my early months here and promised to get back at me. Today looked like it was gonna be that day. Samurai continued "First of all I must say that our attendance has soared the last few months and thats mainly due to you and our profits have never been better. Again due to you. However, the locker room continues to be a mess. No order at all and that guy you hired to look after our guys seems more content to play cards than anything else. Thats why i have terminated his contract." "You gave him what.. 6 weeks to get to grips with the job and everyone who works for us. Its very hypocritical of you." "It was something that Razor and I were trying to stamp out." "Well that doesn't matter now. "So clear out your desk please. I want you gone in an hour." On that note i stepped out his office. Outside a few of the roster were waiting for me. The Minor Annoyance thanked me for giving him the opportunity to work and that would eagerly work with me again. I went past the locker room and saw Razor Valentine clearing his locker. He couldn't even look at me. My desk was cleared in 20 minutes and i headed for my car.

"...So i would like you all to meet the new Ring Of Fire Champion STEVIE STOAT!!!" October 2007 I was at Orpington Halls in southern england along with 230 others when i heard British Samurai announce that to a much smaller crowd than i use to bring in. I turned and left no longer caring about the promotion i used to work for. Upon my departure from ROF last month, Stevie Stoat was resigned and Justin Blackham took over annoucing again causing my young announcer Robert Appleseed to be let go. Worse still was the fact that Karl Dexter - the guy that really got me into the business - was the first dropped by ROF following my departure. That was then followed up by The Minor Annoyance who despite his like of skill, looks, talent (well everything), i had taken a liking too. "Damn man. I know he owns the company, but did he have to declare himself the Number #1 Contender" a voice said. I snapped out of my internal monologue and realised that some fans were leaving the Halls in disgust. When i quizzed them on what i had missed, it turned out that British Samurai had not only given the belt to Stevie Stoat without having to earn it but had then declared himself the Number #1 contender. They told me that they thought it had been a mistake to fire the last booker and they couldn't even get a decent new one to replace him. So they had settled on Tara Green who could barely even manage people properly. We chatted for about an hour about various wrestlers and promotions and it was just after that i realised exactly what i had lost. I couldn't have cared any less about ROF but i missed the industry dearly. And having spent most of my money this last month meeting promotion owners and trying to get a new booking job without any luck, i knew it was over for me. And just to make matters worse, as i started walking home it started to rain

A Few Months Later..... Typically for England it was still raining and i sat there waiting in an tiny office. My application was sitting on the desk as the man sitting in front of me thought it over. This was it.. My last chance. Since leaving Ring Of Fire i was unable to get anything more than warehouse work and i was sick of it. I wanted something more. Yet again i owed Karl Dexter for this opportunity. He had arranged everything for me and all i had to do was make an impression. And i wanted to do this; for him and for me. I had been very well prepared for this appointment. I had come with references, ideas, accounts breakdowns and mission statements and i honestly thought it had gone well. Yet he just sat there behind his desk without saying a word now for 15 minutes. After another look through my application he finally looked at me, smiled, stood up and offered a handshake. "OK. "OK.
