The two ECW originals fought with everything they had to defend their house, but Big Show and Test had them outsized and overpowered by a long shot. The thing that the team didn't have though was the extreme fighting spirit. The ending came when RVD and Dreamer nailed Big Show with a double DDT on the outside, immobilizing him, then double teamed Test on the inside and Dreamer hit him with the Dreamer DDT for the victory. From Gerweck.net
Be sure to tune into Smackdown this week. The main event is a rematch from last week's No Mercy main event, as King Booker will face Batista one-on-one, this time in a non title contest. Can the Animal gain some sort of revenge for getting screwed out of the title at No Mercy, or will the King and Queen tame the Animal yet again? Also in tag action we will see Finlay team up with United States Champion Ken Kennedy to take on The Undertaker and Lashley. Undertaker and Lashley are both coming off losses against these two men and look to get retribution for their losses. Yet another rematch from No Mercy will see the new WWE Tag Team Champions defend their newly won titles against the former champions London and Kendrick. In big return news, Chris Benoit makes his return to a Smackdown ring, as he has been out of action for many months, and will be a big addition to a Smackdown roster that is improving everyday.
Friday Night Smackdown Friday, October Week 3, 2006 Live from Boston, MA Attendence: 10,000 Smackdown begins with his royal highness, King Booker, sitting on his throne in his locker room. He states how he had to give it his all less than one week ago at No Mercy to slay the Animal that is Batista. He says that the no good General Manager Teddy Long is forcing him to face Batista yet again tonight, but he was smart enough to make it a non title match. Grade- B A video is played from No Mercy, of the team of The Pitbulls upsetting Brian Kendrick and Paul London for their first WWE Tag Team Championship reign. Grade- C- vs. This match was yet another very good match, just like it was from No Mercy. It looked like London and Kendrick had taken notes from their unsucessful match against The Pitbulls, as they stayed on top of them throughout the match. London and Kendrick both got many near falls, almost winning their titles back and sucessfully keeping the crowd in the match. The ending came though when Kendrick was holding Kid Kash, and Paul London went up top for the Missile Dropkick. At the last second Kash moved and London nailed Kendrick with the move, then Kash rolled a shocked London up for their first title defense. Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions- The Pitbulls Grade- C+ Chris Benoit is seen walking into the building with his gym bag. Finlay is inside it getting ready for their tag match. Kennedy says he respects Finlay, but knows he will turn on anybody very quickly, and says that tonight he has his back, as long as Finlay has his. Rey's music hits and he drives to the ring in a signature low rider of Eddie Guerrero. When he gets in the ring Chavo asks him what he thinks he is doing. Rey says he won the match, and now he is going to honor the memory of his best friend. Chavo then informs that he can't do that, because there is one little thing about that match stipulation.....I LIED!...Chavo then challenges Rey to one more match, live on Smackdown, next week. Both teams worked suprisingly well as an unit though. This was looking to be a good tag team match, until Kennedy and Finlay's egos were finally too big to be on one team. Finlay did not appriciate it much when Undertaker got in the ring and Kennedy ran to tag him in, setting up Finlay vs. Undertaker. All hell eventually broke loose, with all four men brawling at one time. When the smoke cleared, Undertaker hit Finlay with a Tombstone and got the victory. Winners- The Undertaker and Bobby Lashley Grade- B After the match the lights go to purple in the ring and Undertaker poses over Finlay, celebrating his big win. Benoit showed very little ring rust, and suprisingly, Helms matched him move for move, thus, gaining the respect of many of the fans in attendence. After many near falls by both men, Benoit locked in the Cripple Crossface, forcing Helms to tap out, and getting a win in his first match back. Two huge stars were pairing off in the ring, even though the title was not up for grabs. King Booker and Batista both got about an even amount of offense in, but King Booker got the upper hand a few times thanks to Queen Sharmell on the outside. When Sharmell got caught blatantly cheating, the ref made a very good call by ejecting Sharmell from ringside, and letting the match continue. Batista took advantage of this evened playing field and gave Booker a Spinebuster, then hitting the Batista Bomb for a huge victory for the Animal. Dupree was severly outmatched in this one, but used his physical prowless to stay in the match. He gained an advantage over Sabu and began rubbing it in, which did not set well with the ECW Original. Sabu went and retrieved a chair and beat the Frenchman down with it, earning Dupree a DQ victory. He eventually succeeded with a low blow with a singapore cane, then a shot over the head with a steel chair. Dreamer then laid the chair out and hit Big Show with a Dreamer DDT onto it, but only got the two count. He then did it one more time, busting Show wide open. As he stood and turned around he was met with a vicious spear from the WWE Champion Edge. Edge then put Show on top of Dreamer, allowing Big Show to get the victory over Dreamer. From Gerweck.net
Big news out of TNA. Word has been handed down that Spike TV has been very upset with them not being able to draw viewers with their Impact brodcasts, that coupled with the horrible state the industry is in now and the bad economy, Spike TV has decided to pull the plug on Impact, ending their short time together. More on a new home for Impact when it comes available. On to WWE news, be sure to tune into Smackdown this week as it promises to be an action packed one. Last week we saw not only Chris Benoit make his Smackdown return, we saw the shocking return of one Kurt Angle. Angle challenged Benoit to a match for Smackdown this week to find out who the superior wrestler is once and for all. Also, Chavo Guerrero went back on his word by not letting Rey Mysterio honor his friend Eddie as he pleases, and has challenged Mysterio one more time for Smackdown this week in one on one action. Also, Mr. McMahon promised to have business proposals for a couple of Smackdown Superstars. One has to believe that this concerns his war against ECW, and will the offers be similar to the one he offered Edge this week, and who will get them?
Roland Cuthill is a character that the game generated that has amazing entertainment skills, with 3 A+s to be exact. He was way too good to pass up, and didn't require anytime in development. Thanks very much for the feedback. EDIT- By the way, the picture is from some Gateway Championship Wrestling guy that isn't in the data.

They are both know for their luchador styles, but they were both filled with so much hatred for each other that this just turned into a slugfest. Rey started to get the upperhand, using his speed to get in more moves than the slightly slower Chavo Guerrero. Rey eventually knocked Chavo onto the second rope and connected with the 619. As Rey went to Drop the Dime on Chavo, Chavo snuck something out of his tights, that appeared to be brass knuckles. As Rey came down, Chavo put his fist up and connected with the knucks to Rey's jaw, and this went undetected by the ref. Chavo then got the pin, and walked up the entrance ramp looking very pleased. Kurt Angle leaped to his feet before Benoit could deliver the headbutt and ran up the turnbuckles and knocked Benoit off his feet, causing him to straddle the top rope. Angle then situated himself and delivered a Angle Slam off the top, and pinned Chris Benoit for his first victory since returning to WWE. Smackdown goes off the air with Kurt Angle celebrating his big victory in the ring. Winner- Kurt Angle Grade- A Overall Grade- A

Very good main event for SmackDown! I was sad for the breakup of Londrick, though. :( Good diary so far; I'm big on Burchill, so cheers for the new US Champ. I hope to see big things from Ares, God of Cruiserweights in the future. Keep it up! :D
