The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon, has steped back from his duties in WWE and will be taking a more hands-off role with the company dealing primarily with finances. Rumor has spread that he has hired a new head booker to run the everyday business of the company, and that some drastic changes are already underway. It has been reported today that many WWE Superstars were released from their contracts. The following Superstars have been let go as of today: Francine Kelly Kelly Steve Lombardi Theodore Long Mike Knox Kevin Furtig Maria Kanellis Dorian Deville Kamala Jim Duggan Vito Tim White Michelle McCool Steve Romero Kristal Marshall Josh Matthews Marty (Boogeyman) Wright Little Bastard Nelson Fraizer Scotty 2 Hotty Mike Mizanin Funaki Tatanka Simon Dean Umaga The Great Khali Colt Cabana CW Anderson Chris Masters Primo Carnero Todd Grisham Al Snow Lillian Garcia We wish them all luck in their future endeavors. The next big change in the WWE concerns the Brand Split. As of earlier this morning the split between Raw and Smackdown officially ended. The Roster Split however isn't over. The two new brands are WWE and ECW, with WWE programing on Monday Night Raw, Mondays on the USA Network, and ECW programing taking Smackdown's place on the CW with Friday Night Extreme. Plus taking the spot of the former ECW program will be a WWE/ECW joint program, WWE-ECW Main Event! Rumor has it that there will be some new signings to WWE somtime before this weeks Raw, as well as a complete draft lottery to determine the rosters for the new brands. Stay tuned for the latest info!
There hasn't been any reason to end things. Try to post something to make these changes relevant. Either way I will read at least one show.
Honestly this is my way hot-shoting my way to catch up with my current game, as I'm already a month in the game, and I just decided yesterday I wanted to post it... sorry for the lack of explaination to start with, I'll try to give a bit more depth in the future.

Saturday-Week 1 of October The following was just recieved from the office of CEO of WWE Vince McMahon: I thought that I might just take a moment and let everyone know the state of the WWE. Let me just make one thing clear, I don't need to explain my actions to anyone. I'm Vincent Kennedy McMahon! I'm a self made BILLIONARE. I didn't get to this point by making bad business decisions. Sometimes it's better, rather than doing everything yourself, to get great people around you to make your product better, and that's exactly what I've done by hiring our new Head Booker. Some decisions that he's made have been drastic, but guess what? I like drastic. I like shaking the very foundation of my company, and I'm fan of every decision he's made so far, and if I didn't approve, it simply wouldn't happen, because frankly I'm still the boss. Now to address the 3 or 4 Smackdown fans that called wondering why the decision to cancel the Smackdown brand. Because quite frankly it was a failure. Ratings sucked, stories suck, even great talent that was on show looked like they sucked, when I know for a fact a majority of the workers had much more potential. So we've pulled the plug on a dying brand, and allowed a thriving brand, ECW to take it's place. As for the employees that were let go earlier today, they merely weren't pulling their weight or didn't have anything to offer the company at the moment. Bottom line is this isn't an act of desperation, this is just the WWE evolving to better suit the demands of the fans, and the market place. I'm very excited about the Draft Lottery tomorrow morning, and suggest that you check back to see which brand you're favorite superstars will be performing on. Regards, Vincent K. Sunday-Week 1 of October Major stars yet to debut in WWE- -We here at Wrestling News Online have just recieved an email from someone within the WWE who is claiming that there are a few big names that were left out of the final roster drafts earlier today. This is not hard to believe, what with big names like Ric Flair, Undertaker, and Mick Foley under contract, it's hard to believe they won't be debuting in the new brands. There is also speculation that there could be some big names that aren't already apart of the company that could be brought in to make this new Brand Split successful. Names like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Bret Hart have been thrown around for possible matches to help put over younger talent. The Rock to film new movie- -With all the success The Rock has been having in Hollywood, word has it that he's just signed on to a several year deal with Fox Movies. The Rock has stated numerous times he is done with wrestling. Steve Austin to promote new movie- -Filming on Steve Austin's Movie 'The Condemned' has wrapped and word has it he will now be hitting the road to promote his first major film role. Vacant titles a first- -When WWE decided this past weekend to vacate all it's titles as part of it's re-branding, it was a first in WWE history. Never before have all WWE Titles been vacant before and leaves alot of speculation as to what the title picture will look like in the WWE when Raw hits the air tomorrow night.
