Age problem

Is there a way to adjust the age of your character in RTL once you have started the game. I just realised that his age was wrong and he is complaining he should be better off

once you have started i don't believe there is, are you far in? If not you should probably start again, although it would probably be a good challenge, what age did you use?

He started aged 26. 2 weeks into things he starts complaining about how he should be working for a regional promotion at his age and should be living better than cosy He needed the $1000 a month accomodation to be happy. I wasn't making that a month

I started my guy real young. Like 16. It definitely helps to gain a foundation of money for skill upgrades and lifestyle changes.

That was my plan. I wanted to make him 16 but entered my age instead. I just restarted the game and diary though so its alright

Nice thing about playing in DOTT - I was a lot younger than sixteen back then, so could scale my age right back. To make the game totally realistic, I guess I should use my real age, but even starting a game in the here and now, I doubt I'd go much over 20 or so unless I was using a Future Superstar (or playing as an established worker, anyway).
