LG receptions in BBCF

Recommended Posts

With all that BBCF does right, and there are too many to count. I've noticed in many a box score just how large the completion yards receivers are getting in the game. To verify what I was seeing I ran 2 test seasons, picking the one that most favors BBCF and compared it to 2004 which favors the game a little more so than 2005 stats. Results: 20 receivers 18 yards or better. over 50 receivers 18 yards or better. I looked at receivers 15 yards or better and got more of the same. 82 receivers 15 or more Approx. 160 receivers 15 or more To get an average I looked at the top 40 in this group: 2004 yards per reception avg. 16.3 BBCF yards per reception avg. 20.6 It is significant enough that wanted to post this in the hope Arlie could address this later on. Please do not take this as being too critical of BBCF. Far from it, the game is a godsend for guys like myself who have such a passion for college football. And if it can result in giving us fans and Arlie a better simulation, all the better.

I have to agree with what GG is seeing. Thru week 8 of my season there are 66 guys with 18 YPC or greater...a total of 164 players have 15 YPC or greater. Team stats thru week#8: Y/ATT: *10.0>...5 Teams *9.0-9.9...6 *8.0-8.9...17 *7.0-7.9...39 Passing Yards/Game: 300>...11 Teams 250-299...32 I do not know what the realistic averages s/b, but just offer them up in support of the YPC results. v1.5
