Chappy Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Hello. Obviously, as a long-time member of these boards, I am writing on the behalf of other potential consumers. Apparently, GD now screens their posters. I don't know exactly how this works, but I do know that a member of my online baseball league who wanted to subscribe to a thread was denied registration, as was the following fellow over at the Gridiron Glory boards ( [url]http://gridiron-glory.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=8902acb217888fe1109ace89b2da844b&topic=1466.new#new[/url] ). Now, I don't know the second fellow, so I'm basically going on his word, but it seems like legitimate folks are being turned away from the (new?) screening method. I think - for a small company like Grey Dog - putting up with a few trolls is better than blocking out potential customers. Of course, there may be larger issues at work here so I may be wrong...
