Kekkonen
Every once in a blue moon I see a QB (usually computer QB) throwing a pass to a receiver running a short hook or out route. The play-by-play then tells me that he makes the catch drags a couple of defenders for a few yards -- for a gain of 46 yards. Is that a decimal error, or is the play-by-play off? I'd have no problem with it if the play-by-play told me that the DB goes for the pick or blows the tackle and the receiver takes off for a big gain, but now it sounds like some scrawny WR drags a 200-pound safety for half the length of the field. Dave Hansen
Yardage/result correct. PBP inconsistency.
C-Bailey24
Yea the pbp has more than it's share of inconsistancies but you just learn to somewhat over look it over time, or at least i have. Plays where both safeties blitz will result in that same safety making it 20 yards back downfield to make the tackle or int. My favorite is the defense being in deep zone with no blitzers and the play result is the free safety "bullrushing the backfield as soon as the RB gets the ball" *lol*
Arlie Rahn
Yeah, the PBP mapping to certain plays is a little sloppy. That's another area I would like to improve on in future versions.
