~January 2006~ 'Un-freaking-believable' the loud yell echoed through the cafe as the young man read the text that he had received on his phone. Horace Jones was assistant booker of New Japan Pro Wrestling at the time and had gained a lot of praise because of his great talent at writing storyline and had become good friends with Antonio Inoki during his time with the company but had recently crossed paths with Simon Inoki and had now received a text message from Simon detailing his release from the company. 'God-dammit; I'm back at square 1' Horace muttered as he thumped his head against his fist and threw the phone at the ground. He was suddenly aware of all the people looking at him although they were all Japanese and probably didn't know what he was talking about. He apologized to the onlookers and walked out before heading home and reading the New Japan website before searching for any booking opportunities on the internet. ~October 2006~ 'This is good, This is good' Horace exclaimed as he looked over the latest new website; he'd taken some odd booking jobs but had never stuck around for long because of creative differences. The story lines had died for him and all he wanted to book was pure action. That's why the news that NEO was looking for a new head booker after their shock closing in May (I've made this bit up cause it adds interest) and reopening only months later. He instantly applied and because of his fairly decorated past was hired as head booker. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So that's the deal, I'm running one of the most prestigious womens promotions in the world and need to hire a new roster to really stick it to New Japan. It's not bad for a Gaijin, eh? Now there's the problem with my roster OOC: Alright, with this I've edited the FOTORC mod to have no contracts at all which will cause some surprises in hirings. Owners have all stayed the same but everything else has changed. Next post that I do will focus on my setting up the roster and preparing for my first show. OK!

Week 1, October 2006. I've canceled this weeks episode of NEO on Samurai TV as I haven't assembled a respectable roster at that time. I've done well at the end of week 1 Roster as of Week 1, October MAIN EVENTERS: Mariko Yoshida Takako Inuoe Manami Toyota UPPER MIDCARD: Azumi Hyuga Hikaru Ran Yuyu Kaoru MIDCARD: Toshi Uematsu Yumi Ohka Mima Shimoda LOWER MIDCARD: Emi Tojo Shu Shibuntai OPENERS: Yui Kanbara Rika Takahashi JOBBERS: Mai Ichii OTHERS: Yumi Fukama- Color Commentator Tetsuya Kuoda- Authority Figure The Bloody ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm impressed with our roster so far; I've got two joshi legends in my main event and some real talents in my midcard. I've tried to tempt the joshi legend Jaguar Yokuto but her demands are insane (1, 600 per appearance and with a downside of about 600-700) and I can't afford to keep her and Manami Toyota on the same roster.

It's time for our first show and I'm nervous as hell. Mr Tetsuya pulled some strings and was able for us to have our show get a 9:00 timeslot There's also a string of new hirings that are worth our time; Any italized workers are new recruits who I gained this week. NEO ON SAMURAI TV Attendance: 214 people Being Taped at: The Kyushu Arena Announcers: Match 1: Kaoru vs Azumi Hyuga Road Agent notes: Not much to say about this, Kaoru won after a nice bout which deserved to be on the same card as the other matches. Overall: C+ Match 2: Toshie Utematsu and Los Carruchios Orientales (Etsuko Mita and Mima Shimoda) vs Emi Sakura, Mariko Yoshida and Yumi Ohka for the NEO Supertag title Road Agents notes: A good bout from everyone with Mima Shimoda looking especially good out there with her picking up the pin on Yumi Ohka after a stiff looking Deadlake Driver. Overall: C+ Match 3: Ayako Hamada v Yoshiko Tamura v Manami Toyota v Meiko Satomura v Takako Inuoe v Ran Yuyu for the NEO Supergirls championship. Road Agents notes: Another good bout with Ayako Hamada winning the title after an 18 minute bout. Everyone looked good out there although Takako Inuoe looked dead on her feet out there. Overall: C+ Final Rating: C- My Notes: I don't understand this, Our show is a Joshi puro-style and shouldn't have angles or interviews and yet the fans complained about the lack of them. I don't understand them sometimes.

The phone rung for a second before I picked it up, and surprise surprise, Antonio Inoki praising me on a stellar debut show. I have a lot of respect for him and he finds me a good worker, so he has actually said that he will finacially support the company for as long as he has to. Quite nice of him, I must say. New Workers Update~ Week 2, October MAIN EVENTERS: Ayako Hamada Meiko Satomura MIDCARDERS: Emi Sakura Etsuko Mita LOWER MIDCARDERS: Mika Nishio REI REFEREES: Megumi Grace Asano ANNOUNCER: Junko Hira Kenichi Oba ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am surely drinking the Kool-Aid of Emi Sakura and her trainees,They've made it easy to find some solid undercard wrestlers and they are all talented high flyers. Rika Takashii is especially going to be an impact as she is a decent high flyer and is only 17 years old. I need to counter the nice drop in money from last week, so I'm going to keep the shows in Honshu for a while.

Posted on NEOwrestling.com by the Moderator Hello to all of our NEO fans and viewers. This is Horace Jones, the Gaijin recently named head booker of NEO. Our first addition of NEO on Samurai TV was an hour of amazing Joshi Puro and capped off with Ayako Hamada, daughter of the Great Hamada winning the NEO Supergirls championship. This weeks action will be just as action packed with the following matches announced. v v Ayako Hamada will be taking on Manami Toyota and Yoshiko Tamura in her first defense of the Supergirls title. v Mariko Yoshida will be taking on Meiko Satomura in a grappling contest which could prove to be the Joshi match of the year and I have little doubts about it. Tune in on this weeks episode of NEO on Samurai TV and enjoy the best Womens wrestling in Japan, only on NEO.

I’m Kenichi Oba and with me again is Yumi Fukama and our local Gaijin, Horace Jones. We have a great show on for you tonight everyone and am I the only one not excited about our main event tonight? ~ Yumi Fukama You aren’t Oba-kun, I’m set to see Tamura-sama beat Ayako Hamada tonight and win the NEO Supergirls title. Hamada was lucky last week when in the six corner challenge. ~ Horace Jones Enough about that Fukama, what about our opening bout? Mariko Yoshida takes on Meiko Satomura in a bout that is sure to be high on the Joshi match of the year lists across the Internet. Truly going to be a wicked bout. ~ Mariko Yoshida v ~ Meiko Satomura Match 1- Mariko Yoshida defeated Meiko Satomura at 17:11 A very nice match, with a lot of back and forth action with Yoshida forcing Satomura to tap after countering a German suplex into a Spider Twist. The crowd enjoyed it although they were initially edgy because the show had just started. Overall: B Angle 1: Mariko Yoshida is celebrating her victory in the ring when Meiko Satomura walks up behind her and gets her attention. They stare at each other briefly and everyone thinks there’s going to be another fight but Satomura sticks out her hand and Mariko shakes it. Overall: C- ~ Etsuko Mita, ~ Mima Shimoda and ~ Toshie Uematsu v ~ Azumi Hyuga, ~ Hikaru and ~ Yumi Ohka Match 2: Etsuko Mita, Mima Shimoda and Toshie Uematsu(c) defeated Azumi Hyuga, Hikaru and Yumi Ohka to retain the NEO Supertag title at 14:35 My Notes- A lot of contrasts in styles during this bout, Mita and Shimoda are a brawling tandem and Uematsu is a Super Junior wrestler. It makes even more sense that they are taking on 1 cruiserweight and 2 bread-and-butter wrestlers. A miss-match of styles during this bout and seem to be an old fashioned clusterf*** towards the end when Etsuko Mita choked out Hikaru for the win. Overall: C+ Angle 2: *Even after the bell is called, Etsuko Mita still continues to choke out Hikaru* Etsuko just refuses to relinquish that hold guys, remind me not to return to in-ring action against her. Hikaru needs some help out there immediatly. SOMEONE, GET THEIR COLLECTIVE ARSES OUT HERE RIGHT NOW. *Half of the Undercard runs out and restrain Etsuko Mita and bring her backstage while everyone else is checking on Hikaru.* That was just a sick attack on Hikaru, The Higher Ups had better do something about this. Don't worry, I and Mr. Kuoda will handle it Overall: D ~ Ayako Hamada v ~ Tamura-sama v ~ Manami Toyota Match 3: Ayako Hamada (c) defeated Yoshiko Tamura and Manami Toyota to retain the NEO Supergirls title Solid ME to finish a solid card, Ayako defeated Tamura-sama with an AP Cross then a pinfall to retain the title and to end the show. Overall: B- Show rating: B- My Thoughts: Everything went together so well during the show, Even Miwas attack on Hikaru had a positive effect on the show although I’m going to have to talk to her about it later. I’m going to have to put on some well-loved spot fests at the next show to get fans really behind my midcard.

Post Show I and Mr. Kuoda had to speak to Etsuko Mita afterwards over her attack on Hikaru. "What the hell are you trying to prove?" I yelled angrily at her as she glared at me in the fashion that, if there were words, was a threat. "You can't just go out there and beat up a competitor! Shooting in a match is one thing but assaulting someone post match ain't in the rules." She got up and stared me directly in the eyes (I'm a fairly small bloke after all) and said to me with venom in her voice " Your just some gaijin, pretending to be a booker. You don't know anything about our wrestling and you know it." I was seething at this and the others could tell this, which might have been Mr. Kuoda pulled Etsuko to the side and had a quiet word with her. When they turned back to me, I had composed myself and had come up with a conclusion. "I'm a fair guy Miss Mita, I follow the three-strikes and you're out rule that you get in baseball. This is strike 1, two more and you're fired from NEO. Oi vey, two weeks in and I'm already getting headaches backstage. Maybe If I ask nicely, Simon Inoki could rehire me.

Posted on NEOwrestling.com by the moderator Hello to everyone and now we are ending our first month and with NEO Mania coming up this week, Here is the confirmed matches for this Saturday. Tamura believes that she deserves to take part in the bout because she believes she was cheated out of the title. (, Etsuko Mita and Mima Shimoda of LCO) and ~ Toshie Uematsu v ~ Hikaru, and ~ Takako Inoue NEO Supertag defense: Los Carruchios Orientales and Toshie Uematsu will be defending the Supertag titles against the team of Hikaru, Takako Inoue and Azumi Hyuga. Etsuko Mita of Los Carruchios Orientales has been in the doghouse because of her attack on Hikaru last week, who knows what stipulations will be added. Also to be in action: Manami Toyota will be taking part in a bout against an unspecified opponent. Don't forget to check out NEO on Samurai TV tonight and come to our live event on Saturday night.

NEO ON SAMURAI TV Attendance: 290 Location: The Kyushu auditorium ~ Kenichi Oba Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to NEO on Samurai TV; Once more I’m Kenichi Oba and with me again are Yumi Fukama and Mr Horace Jones. Now guys do we have a big couple of nights starting from tonight. ~ Horace Jones That’s right Oba, Tonight is NEO on Samurai TV and this Saturday… coming live from Kashima Memorial Gymnasium will be NEO MANIA! But we have to get through tonights show first. We have Mariko Yoshida taking on Meiko Satomura in a rematch which was created through respect between one another. Next up we have a preview for MAINIA! with Takako Inoue taking on Etsuko Mita in a bout that may just show us the future for Etsuko Mita here. ` Yumi Fukama Let’s not forget about the main event tonight, Yoshiko Tamura is still trying to win the title even though she lost last week to Ayako Hamada. ~ Horace Jones Hamada cheated in that match Fukama, She clearly cheated during that match last week when she exposed the turnbuckle and caused Tamura to collide with the turnbuckle before nailing the AP Cross. We’ll have to see how she tries to win this week or if Ayako will ‘allegedly’ cheat this week ~ Mariko Yoshida v ~ Meiko Satomura Match 1: Mariko Yoshida vs Meiko Satomura with Satomura pinning Mariko after a Death Valley Driver in 14:18. Overall: B- ~ Etsuko Mita v ~ Takako Inoue Match 2: Takako Inoue vs Etsuko Mita with Takako pinning Etsuko after a Uraken. Overall: C Angle 1: While Mita is getting up from the mat after her match, KAORU ran down to the ring to attack Mita when she was helpless. The beatdown continues while I (Horace Jones) get up from the announce desk and walk to the ring with a mike ~ Horace Jones What do you think know Etsuko? Are you still above working within the system? I can’t exactly have you being a loose cannon within the company every single week. You’re going to work the way I want you to whether you like it or not; and If you don’t like it then I have an entire locker room at my back that will obey any order to kick your ass until you will work the way I want. Overall: D ~ Ayako Hamada v ~ Yoshiko Tamura Match 3: Ayako Hamada v Yoshiko Tamura ends with Tamura hitting Ayako in the head with a steel chair and drawing a DQ victory for Ayako Overall: C+ Angle 2: Post bout, Tamura continues hitting Ayako with stiff chairshots but before she can do major damage, Manami Toyota runs and saves her. Overall: C- Show Overall: C+ My Thoughts: Not as good as last week, I think it’s because we focused more on hyping up MANIA! Than anything else.
