Have all the Free Agency rules and compensatory draft picks in the game. If you lose a coach or player, you get compensated. You should have Franchise and Transition players. The game should also reflect the real salary cap and all teams should be able to assign players to NFL Europe. All teams should have practice squads. Scouts should be important. I would like to see a spreadsheet exportable with any and everything to do with all the players being drafted. What service ranks them where, how they did on the test, how they did in the combine and how your scout stacks them up. Then you could see how the "experts" rate them. Teams should draft based on need. Write some code so that teams will take players that they need. Although not sacrificing common sense.
