2 Player - Race for Supremacy

Recommended Posts

After more than enough diaries where the third or fourth person involved has dropped out me and Derek B have decided that it might be a good idea to just have a 2 player dynasty. Goldenskillz (Me) -TCW Derek B - USPW So here it is hopefully neither of us will drop out and we can actually get a diary into the second month for a change. So here starts the race to takes SWF's top spot.

He says the reason he starts the show is because Tommy Cornell IS the show, he is in a league all of his own. That’s the reason the title is around his waist and it’s the same reason it is going to stay there. That is when Ricky Dale Johnson’s music interrupts the proceedings and he makes his way to the ramp. He says Tommy C is living in a dream world, the title was RDJ’s a month ago and it will be his once again. Tommy C keeps playing the ace card but RDJ knows he’s just bluffing. Ricky asks TC why he keeps force feeding these lies about his greatness down the fans throat when he knows it isn’t true. Cornell cuts him off saying he doesn’t feed the fans lies, he feeds them the truth and they eat it up because they KNOW it is the truth. Tommy C is a legend and the staple head of this company where as RDJ is just another name. Ricky says if Tommy C is so sure he is that damn good then he won’t have any problems backing it up by placing his title on the line right here tonight. Tommy C says neither of them has the authority to do that but is interrupted by Ricky who says to cut out the bull. If Tommy believes he is that damn good he will just accept and the match will be made and he knows it. Tommy says enough of the damn talk, fine he will face RDJ tonight for his world title and prove he is the greatest. Both men stare the other down as we cut to commercial. Match 1 – Rick Law vs. Wolf Hawkins vs. Rocky Golden for the TCW International title The opening match up of the evening was the impressive triple threat for Rocky G’s TCW International title. As the first contest of the evening the fans were really into watching these three compete, especially since all 3 are regarded as the future of wrestling. The vast majority of the fans were behind the good guy Rick Law to win but both Wolf and Rocky had support from the crowd to. Wolf started the match on the outside keeping himself fresh as Rocky and Rick tried to beat the living daylights out of each other. The crowd hurled abuse at Wolf but he stuck with his game plan and stayed outside the squared circle. Finally Wolf pounced on a opportunity and pretty soon all 3 men were in the ring breaking their backs for the fans. Rocky came closest to retaining but Wolf broke the pin up. The match came to the end when after 12 minutes Wolf managed to pin Rocky G and became the new TCW International champ. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 2 – Troy Tornado is walking backstage and sees Liberty doing some press ups alone. Tornado struts over and squats down in front of him before bursting out in laughter, this of course catches the attention of Liberty who straightens up. Liberty asks Troy what he finds so funny to which Troy asks is that what Liberty calls exercise. Troy boasts that he could have done double that in half the time. Liberty laughs back saying he has heard that from some of the diva’s as well Troy gives a forced laugh and turns to go. Liberty goes back to his press ups until he is dragged back to his feet by Tornado who says he has a question for Liberty. Liberty looking a bit pissed asks Troy what it is, Troy asks….does this hurt. Liberty looking confused asks him to repeat that and is caught with a slap across the face from Tornado. Liberty lunges for Tornado but he manages to dodge it. An angered Liberty challenges Troy to meet him in the ring to which a smirking Tornado agrees. Match 2 – Chance Fortune vs. Texas Pete for the TCW All Action title Chance put his title on the line here and had to be considered the underdog going into this match up with Texas Pete. Right from the get go Pete went about destroying Fortune, and although some of the fans were behind Fortune most of them couldn’t care less about what was going down in the ring. Thankfully for them though this was a pretty short match and after taking a huge beating at the hands of Pete managed to send Texas smashing into the steel steps and gained a victory via count out. He goes over to Wolf and asks him if he would like to join him in a celebratory drink. Wolf says he didn’t expect Tommy C to congratulate him on his title win to which Tommy chuckles and asks if he is kidding. Tommy C wants to join Wolf in a drink to celebrate…..his win against Ricky Dale Johnson later this evening. Wolf looks less enthusiastic than before and tells TC that he can’t as he has his own celebration to attend to later this evening. The Machines worked well as a team but so did the specialists who also had the backing of the fans. The two teams took periods of control until finally the specialists took control. However they fell victim to a ref distraction and a belt shot to both of the specialists followed by Machine #1 getting the pin. The Machines defeated The Tag Team Specialists in 9:45 when Wrestling Machine #1 pinned Joel Bryant. The Machines make defence number 1 of their TCW World Tag Team titles. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 4 - BLZ Bubb is shown backstage, where officials have just found him bloody and battered, the apparent victim of a sneak attack. As he is helped to his feet by officials blood dripping from his forehead he suddenly loses it and catches one of the officials with a right hand. He then grabs another and launches him hard into a concrete wall, the remaining officials get out of there as fast as they can but one more is unlucky and is grabbed by the throat by BLZ. He tightens his grip before hitting a spine jarring chokeslam onto the cold hard concrete. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vs. Match 4 – Giant Tana vs. Genghis Rahn The fourth match of the evening and the first non title match of the evening…which seems pretty weird. Tana and Rahn are known as fighters not flashy people and that’s exactly what happened. They fought, and it wasn’t long before both men were feeling the hurt but they kept trucking on. Tana took control for a couple of minutes only for Genghis to take control before hitting a Rahn To The Hills for the win. Genghis Rahn defeated Giant Tana in 8:34 by pinfall with a Rahn To The Hills. Rating C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 5 – Wolf Hawkins comes down to the ring and he tells the fans to bow down before their new TCW International champion. Wolf not only beat Rocky G last week he also beat Rick Law and he is insulted. Insulted that Wolf is put in the same talent bracket as Rick, Wolf is superior in every department and it’s a damn disgrace that both men are labelled the future. Wolf deserves that tag but Law has not earned it and he never will. However that does not matter because its now plain for all to see since Wolf is the TCW International champ. He says enough withering on about inferior subjects, tonight is a night to rejoice and he DEMANDS that every fan in attendance bows down before him immediately. Suddenly Rick Law’s music hits and he charges down to the ring only for Wolf to bail. Law gets on the mic and says Wolf is full of crap. These fans will never bow before Wolf because Wolf is an arrogant piece of trash. Law asks the fans who they would rather see as the TCW International champ and the vast majority of cheers are in favour of Law. Rick Law then asks if they would like to see Wolf put his money where his mouth is and defend his title against Law at the very next PPV. However as Law soaks in the cheers in favour of this idea he is blind sided with a title shot to the back of the skull. Wolf then proceeds to beat down Law mouthing off that Law does not deserve to be in the same ring as Wolf let alone get a title shot against him. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 6 – A video plays hyping what went down between Liberty and Troy Tornado earlier in the show leading to their one on one match….up next. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vs. Match 5 – Liberty vs. Troy Tornado This match up was the best match of the night with both men giving hugely impressive in ring performances. People backstage were particularly impressed with Liberty who despite his age proved he can still rule the roost. The fans were into this match especially after what went down earlier to set this match up. Fans were heavily booing Troy from beginning to end and were rooting behind Liberty to pull out a win and shut the ****y mouth of Tornado for good. Unfortunately for them Tornado got a win after connecting with the star maker. Lucky for the fans the fun wasn’t over. Troy Tornado defeated Liberty in 12:49 follwing the Star Maker. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 7 – Troy Tornado attempts to attack Liberty after the match up with a chair but Liberty manages to duck underneath the shot. Tornado turns round and gets the chair big booted back into his own face courtesy of Liberty. Liberty wipes the sweat from his brow and leaves Tornado motionless in the centre of the ring. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 8 – Ricky Dale Johnson is backstage with a microphone in hand and he starts to tell the fans that the days of horror will soon be over and Tommy C’s reign as champ will come to an end right here tonight. He tells Tommy Cornell that tonight is the end, the end of his title reign, the end of the bull crap and the end of TC ruining this promotions image and name. He says he has one last thing to say before his match up and that is to all his fans out there get ready because RDJ is going to win and he is going to take the World title to the grave because he ain’t never gonna lose that belt. Rating A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vs. Match 6 – Ricky Dale Johnson vs. Tommy Cornell for the TCW World Heavyweight title The main event of the evening with the world title on the line really got the fans into it. Both men gave a good account of themselves here and were determined to prove to the fans they deserve to be the TCW World champ. This match was not as outstanding as the Liberty vs. Troy match that went before it but it was certainly not a let down either. The spot of the match came when both men were on top of the rope with RDJ trying to superplex TC. Tommy reversed it and tried to push RDJ off only for RDJ to fall backwards and catch TC with a trailing boot sort of like a enziguri causing TC to fall backwards and land rough on the outside. The match came to an end when both men started brawling on the outside and the action spilled into the crowd, the referee counted to 6 for both men but when both men attacked each other with foreign objects he called an end to the proceedings and declared the match a draw. Tommy Cornell drew with Ricky Dale Johnson in 16:58 when the referee was forced to rule a no contest when all hell broke loose. Liberty has shown that despite his age he is still a valuable member of the TCW roster. Also the Wolf/Rick/Rocky match was a great start to the show although many people felt it could have been better. Many people are happy to see Wolf being given a title run. * The main event although a good match was some what of a disappointment since many thought it would be the best match up of the entire night. Tommy C and Sam were marked as the two most disappointed by this although Tommy is accepting his end of the blame for not making it what it could have been. Plans are sketchy now and after this disappointment it remains to be seen how Sam is going to run with the world title picture. * The overall reaction to the show is that whilst some parts could have been better nothing was an out right huge disappointment even the Texas Pete vs. Chance match up was a lot better than many people thought it would have been. Also backstage reactions is that RDJ is showing his worth after his promo was perhaps the best part of the show altogether.
